@zby go for it, start a petition and post it here.
@matt maybe we should talk soon so I can try to convince you to stop trolling the forums...

Are you looking for a job? I am looking for a virtual assistant. PM me with any relevant qualifications.

The joint,

No offense I like you alot, and enjoy reading your posts, but you're complaining about being burned for 5BTC while still having a link to a ponzi-scheme on your sig. It's kind of an oxymoron if you know what I mean...

First, yes, I don't have a lot of money.  5 BTC to me is much more valuable than it is for some people.

And I'm complaining about being burned, not about being burned for 5 BTC.  I have many many posts warning the community about potential scammers when I noticed something was fishy.  I have always stated my problem with scams and have been genuine and honest in all my transactions on here.

All I am asking for is that honesty and fairness be returned in my direction.  I either 1.) Won the game fair and square or 2.)  Lost the game due to statistical unfairness.  I dont care if it was for .01 BTC, I would react  much the same way.  The principle is what is important to me here.  The amount of BTC is a mitigating factor.

And thanks for the compliment.
I understand... I will stay out of this one Cheesy. Good luck trying to get this payment. This is why I hate "games" in the forums... It makes for unnecessary drama, because when it's time to pay up, no one has the dough lol.

Edit: Not trying to defend goat, or whoever the the scammer is. Just bringing up a good point, since you were talking about "deception", in your last posts..
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game: I see on: December 20, 2011, 05:52:11 PM
I see a bunch of greedy people who still don't understand what the bitcoin utility is for.
Lol here you go trying to define Bitcoin again... The "BTC utility" does not subscribe to anyone's specified use on this forum, it simply just is, and that's actually one of the biggest advantages to this system. Stop shunning the speculators, because believe it or not Bitcoin needs them. And we are already seeing a massive correction from the highs of $4.50 yesterday, the market is getting better at correcting itself, but don't be surprised if it rockets again, we are in RALLY MODE you know... Stop trying to define shit, and maybe you'll have a better time using the "BTC utility"...
1146  Other / Off-topic / Re: Self-censoring... on: December 20, 2011, 05:14:58 PM
LOL

**DON'T FLAME ME BRO**

On a serious note, I hold back alot of shit on this forum as well. Not saying I have anything to hide, but the fact that this forum gets so much attention has had me thinking about whether or not we should start to represent a certain Internet etiquette as Bitcoiners. This forum has a terrible rep for trolling, and believe it or not some people really hate that, because it fucking wastes TIME. Something that's priceless and people have very little of...
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shameful manipulation! on: December 20, 2011, 06:53:16 AM
Why?

Because he inflates a bubble.
He could buy these bitcoins in a long timeframe, if he is long-term investor.
And he should create small steps on both sides if he is short-term speculator.

Right now he set his bit like a poseur.
Who says the market will sell off this next "bubble"? You assume that bubbles repeat themselves...

Please get a Yubikey, that would have prevented this.

And sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a prick in my first post, but honestly this isn't the best place to post for MTGOX Account related questions nor should we encourage it as a community.

If you ever need help with anything MTGOX related (including getting a Yubikey for your account) go to there support page here https://support.mtgox.com/home
1149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction contest: when will bitcoin break $4? or will it never break $4? on: December 20, 2011, 06:26:32 AM
DUMB BEARS GETTING SLAUGHTERED!
1150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shameful manipulation! on: December 20, 2011, 06:23:05 AM
Look at that wall at 3.90 !!!

This trader is the main enemy of bitcoin.
LOL? Look at all the walls before it! Could it be he(obviously more than one person) is trying to get in at a good price, cause he saw $4 as inevitable? Dumb thread

Double digits. Stop thinking in single digits. This whip is way to strong. IF the move to 4 didn't teach you anything, then I don't know what will.
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: $4 today!? on: December 20, 2011, 06:02:21 AM
$100 by Xmas! *cough*
If this action keeps up, this may be the quote of the century.
1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Jong Il is dead. Will it have an impact on BTC prices? on: December 20, 2011, 05:46:13 AM
Are people scared at this new "instability"? WTF is going on?
1155  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: December 20, 2011, 05:42:55 AM
BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY
1156  Economy / Speculation / Re: My last Warning to the Bears on: December 20, 2011, 05:40:07 AM
I must admit, watching this rally pan out has been very entertaining. Going from $4 to $4.50 and back down all within 30 minutes. I'm disappointed I didn't put any coin into the rally and sell around that $4.50 sell wall. Entertaining nonetheless... Smiley
You can't buy and sell as fast as the bots, trust me Cheesy.

EDIT: My point here is that it's better to just STAY IN!
1157  Economy / Speculation / Re: $4 today!? on: December 20, 2011, 05:39:04 AM
And now the correction.
WHAT CORRECTION? I'M SEEING 4.26 LOL !!!
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew - the reaction to the Dear Leader's death on: December 20, 2011, 03:59:47 AM
I'm reading reports that both North and South Korea have closed their borders and that China's doing the same.  North Korea seems to be in lockdown right now with citizens being told to stay home.

I imagine there must be a great deal of nervousness in South Korea at the moment.

Could you share your insider's perspective when you have a spare moment?

Good question! Matthew would be able to supply us firsthand knowledge of what's going on over there, even though he's currently in the states.

I thought his post the other day said he'd just got back from the US.

The posts I'm reading elsewhere from other people in South Korea at the moment are all pretty pessimistic.  All of the "what happens now" options regarding North Korea are pretty fucking terrible and many of the people who are posting from South Korea see an orderly transition of power as the best of a truly bad set of options.

Need not worry. President Obama will gain support from all 57 states, then...then...then just watch what happens. I believe that is why he made sure the US military had proper funding in case something like this were to transpire. Most of the Generals are behind him.

Why are you peddling that same old gaffe conservatives always cry about. One of the Presidents rare gaffes...
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: December 20, 2011, 03:01:04 AM
LOL LAUGHING AT ALL THE BEARS! Cheesy

REVERSAL MODE BABY!!!!
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis & other financial markets (bitcoinbullbear.com) on: December 19, 2011, 08:49:41 PM
All downward trendlines have been broken when we bounced off almost perfectly of the upward trendline. Prepare for more upside!

correct. As we expressed many times in the subscriber section, the reversal from the 2 $ is very strong and can lead to mid term upside to 13.5 $ (38.2% retrace), 17 $ (50% retrace) and 20.6 $ (61.8% retrace).

For the sake of Bitcoin, I just hope it will not happen. I would prefer steady, slow, continual rise, like 0.1% per day. What we really do not need is another fake bubble. We need time to build services and convince merchant to start using our PRECIOUS BITS.

So, please, do not hurry into rally!

As long as the market is the market, it will not listen to wishes of individuals. Markets are driven by psychology of market participants.
People also wish for slow, 5-10% appreciation of stocks every year for decades, but it does not happen very often. There are always mini bubbles, medium bubbles and big bubbles on the way.

Excellent point S3052. I really enjoy your analysis, thanks for the work that you do.
