rickyjames is the treasurer of the NXTfund. I will not pay any of the NXTfund to myself, nor will I even be able to touch the money.

Now that I have been entrusted with 1.525 million NXT all of a sudden I have the responsibility of deciding the best way to allocate it. It is not easy. I am still not even sure which area it is best spent on. It is super important that the funds are spent as effectively as possible.

I want to show the NXT community that the NXTfund will do its best to maximize the value of NXT and to reflect the collective will of the community. As long as there is consensus, then my job is easy. However, if there is no consensus, then I will be forced to decide the exact allocation and if I make everybody equally unhappy then that probably means I am doing a good job.

James

Platinum is more expensive than Paladium.

Don't get that confused.

Ok. Maybe I confused it with Unobtainium.

Hm. My data is really outdated. When I was developing an economic game Palladium was more expensive than Platinum:

But now it's not.

OK, I'm done with this guy.

Sorry to all people who had this person on ignore and had to see all this posts quoted  Cheesy

Next week I'm going to showcase all the 3rd party clients to get some well deserved attention for them.
The announcement on my blog is here

The list in the post is not exhaustive. I'm in contact with some more developers, but I wanted to push out a post to get the ball rolling.

However, if you are a developer of a client and I've not contacted you, please PM me!

I did not forget you on purpose, but so much is going on, I'm bound to forget someone. I'll be happy to include you.

Thanks Smiley

Well, I would like to know how Nxt handles a fork.  That's what I'm trying to understand here.

I don't see u trying.

I don't see you with an explanation.

I don't see how you are handling the current Nxt fork that is happening right now.

WHAT FORK IS HAPPENING NOW? U MAD?

fork that was mentioned in this thread happens to people using OLD version of NRS?

Are you really that ignorant or do you just want to spread chaos and misinformation?

I got no idea what's going on with Nxt.  I hear people talking about it being stuck at block X,  of having to wait hours or days to get stuff from BTER and of their accounts getting hacked.  But, that's just what I hear,  I got no real clue of what really is happening to this coin.

Quoted for emphasis.
You hear people about being stuck and then assume things.

Then when you get corrected, you go into a selfrighteous fit for being told differently.

And you are surprised people react negatively to your continued ranting?

I stand by my previous judgement you really have the Intern from Hell attitude.

If you'd just ask for clarification, people would be happy to explain.

It's one of the classic spin doctor tricks.

Insinuate something is wrong by spreading half truths. He would do well working for people like Karl Rove.

it usually works when people aren't knowledgeable enough to provide counter-arguments.  Smiley

So you are saying that it can maintain availability (which I agree) and survive partitioning ( which I don't think so).

What is in the algorithm for Nxt that makes it tolerant to partitioning?

You'll find the answer to that question in the source... (yes even the published flawed one)

If you don't know the answer,  then don't pretend the answer is somewhere else.

Stating assumptions as truth. That's another one. Smiley

Edit: sorry, smaragda Wink

Troll night.
Some people didn't get dates...  Roll Eyes

And some folks (not just you specifically Smiley) keep feeding the trolls

In this case: guilty as charged  Smiley

I don't normally get really upset, but I basically get very angry with people who have double standards and play dirty games by twisting words.
It would be OK if he genuinely was trolling, but this guy is using so many wellknown tricks in the book of con artists that it's ridiculous.

Suggestive phrasing, selective quoting, selective ignoring, turning around the burden of proof, framing, the list goes on.

The guy has "used car salesman" written all over in the worst sense of the term.

This week I'm hoping to give all of our 3rd party developers of clients a bit of limelight.

I've been in contact with most developers and am happy that all are willing to cooperate with this.

I will be showcasing every single client I can lay my hands on.

Today, I've started with a small post to let people know it is coming, which can be found here.

Please, spread, tweet, upvote etc. as much as possible.

We have every reason to show these works to others.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 31, 2014, 08:30:18 PM
is there a minimum donation? i wana help but dont have very much atall compared to you guys.. :/

There is no minimum.

If you want to donate, just donate what you can miss. Even 1 Nxt shows support.

Don't feel bad if you can't. Enjoy having your Nxt and being a part of the community.  Smiley
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 31, 2014, 08:21:12 PM
I dont think nxt could get sued. Theres no one to sue? No official body? And all were doin is making lego nxt more viewers

The conye guys got sued.  So they can sue any exchange that holds Nxt.

You have apparently no knowledge of branding law.
Branding law only applies if there is a possibility of confusion between brands, or if there is malice involved.
Neither applies to Lego or WWF.

Get some education.

1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 31, 2014, 07:55:33 PM
is it too late to buy nxt for 100x profit ?  Undecided

Not too late for a 100x profit with NEX.

You do know that Nex used to be camera line by Sony?

They might sue you for trademark Wink

And even if not, you will be completing on search engines with Sony cameras

Sure... and Nxt can be sued by Lego Mind Storms.

http://www.nxtprograms.com/

You forgot to mention that we can get into serious fights with wrestlers, too. http://www.wwe.com/shows/wwenxt

We are thát cool!

But surely you know ALL about this legal stuff, don't you? That's why you hilariously threatened all of us with a defamation case in your NEX thread  Cheesy

And emule gets an answer he cant come back to. Loser him and fc are probs siamese twins or summat.
Nexern definatley said march for an estimated fully working client.
I dont know where emule the homosexual donkey gets his false facts from?

March?  Can we get it earlier?  Is the source code out there?

you dont need him there are two other clients just use them! till the time hé is finished we have moved on to eterum and Emunie and many other.

I'm not familiar what is open source in Nxt and what is not,

Which clients are available for the taking?

What about block explorers,  any available that I can take?

Instant wallets,  does one exist?

How about Android and iOS apps,  any one available?

There is such a thing as doing your own research.
Most of these things can be found on the various Nxt sites that exist.
If something is open source, it will clearly state that.
If not, then it probably isn't. It's up to every independent developer to decide for themselves.  Smiley

(don't batter him everytime, just cause he started as a troll)

It's quite hard, he worked very hard to earn this reputation. I'll try.

after reading few more posts about 50mln vs 2mln, I'm taking it back, batter him all you want

Hahaha!  Grin
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt marketing & promotion :: Nxt now on Cryptmarket! [articles bounties] on: January 31, 2014, 07:09:28 PM

Please add Drupal Commerce!

Integration with WooCommerce for Wordpress would be cool too.

I'm glad there is a bounty on this.
I'll probably ask for donations if he can deliver Smiley
He might as well hold some Nxt for his work.

The "date" listed on that thread is Jan 26

Two facts that you have missed:

Nexern,

Are we on schedule for the 26th?

Pin

quick update.

client dev is fine so far but i am 3 days behind schedule. try to catch up.

And the fact that CfB was in hospital with Appendicitis, so he hardly could help, could he?

Btw, that thread you link to is maintained by a 3rd party, not by nexern.

I'm going to stop commenting for a while. I'm starting to rage  Undecided

Sorry if your point was actually neutrally made.

I've just gotten a friendly webdeveloper interested in creating Nxt payment modules for Wordpress, prestashop and magento (possibly other open source e-commerce systems, too).

He's currently swamped with work, but is going to read up this week and I expect a reaction during next week.

Didnt you contact wesleyh? I thought he had all that.

Pin

Didn't contact him yet, but will do that too today.

The thing is that this guy can deliver complete modules. i don't know if wesley already has those, or just the "how-to" instructions.

I will ask however. In any case, my guy at least can implement it. I would hardly take wes's time from him for that. He is no doubt working on his cross-platform client Smiley

Wow, would be great!

Please add Drupal Commerce!

I'll see what he can do. He may not know áll platforms, but I'm sure he knows others. It took about two sentences to get him interested after which he asked for loads of links to techy stuff, so I'm reasonably sure he's hooked.  Grin

I also contacted wesleyh and hope to hear from him soon.

Edit: that's great, James. Getting Nxt integrated with the major open source e-commerce platforms would be a big step.

However, I already know your tactics and nothing I say will matter to you. You are set to play the victim and will keep trying to pin it on "us".

Of course the blame is going to be pinned on the 'Nxt Posse'.

Who else would care about a Nxt competitor?

I don't see the Mastercoin folks or the Invictus folks up in arms with the NEX development.

It's just the Nxt folks who are trembling in their boots.

This is just a silly argument and you know it.
You put up NEX with all ballsy talk about "fairness" while painting Nxt as unfair.
When we answered you back, you just keep spouting rethoric. In short: you went on an attacking spree.

I dare you to do the same with MasterCoin and Invictus in exactly the same way. If they don't react, then your argument is valid.

Until you do that, this is again a very transparent spin, where you omit parts of the equation. That is something you do a lot, you know.  Smiley

Are you now going to threaten legal action again, by the way? That one was hilarious.
