My results on lbry.

750 ti with o/c :49-50 mh/s
970 with o/c  : 131-132mh/s
1070  with o/c (2000mhz core):222-224mh/s

7970-280x o/c : 50-51mh/s
290 with oc     :66 -67 mh/s

Are you on windows?

Try to do something cpu intensive while mining. What happens to your hashrate? My 970's get a boost of 14% and hashrate goes up to 150Mh/s per card.

-edit- OT something wrong with your 290, should do at least 90Mh/s with public miner.

Which settings do you reach 150MH on 970s , mate ?

Core ~1495, power limit as high as it goes, cpuminer with one thread running in the backround.

Gpu load 92-98%, mc load 24%, perfcap reason pwr.

does not make any sense that gpu make more hash when you use more the cpu with soemthing else

I know, I have been trying to find out why for two days.

1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: $2200 - What to buy? on: July 17, 2016, 10:49:43 PM
If I had to put $2200 in crypto right now I would buy dcr and then pos mine it. But that is just me.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia GPU Mining Problems on: July 17, 2016, 10:05:41 PM
I haven't been following this thread but if my afterburner panel would look like that I would first go to fan tab.

And then sell those 750ti's. I sold after 500 days of mining thinking that aftermarket price would tank. I was wrong.

1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i need to know how to calculate the power cost .. ? on: July 17, 2016, 04:23:07 PM
You really only have to look at the maximum current it can handle.

Quote
Operating current: max 15A

So that's 1800W with 120V which is not that much. Mine is also 15 or 16A but I have the 230V version so it's close to double that.

And I wouldn't go to the limit for 0-24 use, maybe 20% lower.

Missing to read the specs is probably why many people burned dozens of these things.

Mine were 230V versions, 15 and 16A specs. First one just died, second one says I have 315-356V network -_-
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 700 MH , Solo or use a Pool (Ethereum) on: July 17, 2016, 01:23:18 PM
Especially if you are generating coins for the pool more than you are earning I would definetely try solo. Someone mines a block every 14 seconds.

lol nethash is 1T, 2T, 3T, 4T you don't solomine... How many times have I seen that comment here?

1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 700 MH , Solo or use a Pool (Ethereum) on: July 17, 2016, 11:53:30 AM
All the information you need is there on greaterninja's post. Don't listen to guys who never mined single block.

Eth is really fast coin, if you have a reliable network connection with low latency you will find blocks. I earned better solo than pool with only 100MH when nethash was 0.5TH.

I had to kill two wattmeters before I understood that it is better to invest 10€ more...

Do you think this one can be considered as an additional investment one Smiley ?

Bathrobehero confirmed that it works. I would buy two just in case that first one dies. That would set you back about 0.05 btc, not bad...
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i need to know how to calculate the power cost .. ? on: July 16, 2016, 03:43:00 PM

yeah buy the cheaper one, don't waste money on things that do not mine

Haven't been around in ages, is there a public LBC or still only private ones / private ones that aren't being sold now? For nvidia not amd.

You need to wait four more days before epsylon3 releases 1.5.80 which supports lbry. Sp might come out with something before that.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 16, 2016, 01:40:18 AM
I am a strong sp supporter, no question about that.

This lbry battle... sp is just wasting time. Time would be better spent on opencl optimizing and sp knows that and is doing that as we speak.

That's why I don't understand this huge cuda effort.

-edit- I don't know what sp is doing atm, just guessing.

-edit2- all this was viking talk.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 15, 2016, 10:05:37 PM
sp would normally wait for opensource release and then optimize that.

I am not sure what is going on this time, first it took only 1 hour and then we need weekend. For something that gets released anyway.

tick tock.

Hey,

Not in the near future. I'm close to taking a long break. If SC is still hot when I return and nobody else did, I'll consider it.

Genoil,

If you ask me (you don't) that 50 eth could be much better spent during a long break instead of buying some lousy gpu's...

Bought camping gear Grin

There goes my baby... enjoy your break!!!
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 13, 2016, 10:38:55 PM
Please people, look at lbc charts.

There is no public nvidiaminer available.

-edit- and i am pretty sure sp can't optimize this miner on maxwell
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 13, 2016, 10:23:42 PM
0.1 btc was too much? And 6 x 1070 is cheap?

0.1 btc is not too much for most miners I think but it is too much if the source will be public in a week. That's a short period of time to make that 0.1 back (and then some).

It is not always about profit, I would have donated that 0.1 anyway. We need guys like epsylon, djm, c&c... and sp on top of that. If they all go awol what is left?

Talking about profits, hmm...

True to your word, it's not too late to 'DONATE' your .1BTC today!

That aside, why I still believe a miner fee is a great way to go with things. If only there was some fair way to split it up among developers so they could all contribute to the same miner.

with only 4x970 i call it a donate.

amd guys got a nice jump start here but now there is epsys miner available. lbc not tanking.
