1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 01, 2016, 11:15:56 AM
I think right now it is helping the poor country peoples as the conversion rate is very high for fiat currency , so if they even earn monthly 0.5btc if they convert to fiat currency that will be more then what they earn from their daily life work.

altex.ws exchange is very new and no one will try to trade in a new exchange , so i think till it is not listed in reputed exchange it wont get that much exposure for trade
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: October 31, 2016, 08:59:21 AM
i think that the best way of making steady income is to participate in signature campaigns or just buy a lot of bitcoins and wait

I don't think joining a Signature Campaign will give you steady income because what we are having as payment is not that much. So I can't call that steady. Another thing, buying bitcoin and just waiting will not also generate steady income. What if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops??/

So, I think having steady income means you need to invest either in legit sites or in trading. But, in trading. Yoy need to have a backhround reseaech first on how it is working and what are the techniques to start.

In my view apart from signature campaign, you have to work for bitcoin by giving your skill for bitcoin and do some trading in bitcoin or altcoin.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whos pumping bitcoin now? on: October 27, 2016, 04:05:09 PM
I dont think that their is any pumping is going in bitcoin , this price raise is natural as it was very long due, as traders where waiting for price to get down to buy back that is why the price was stable and now they are buying back and the price is jumping naturally.
1145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possibly Scammed by oksana28 for 3 BTC on: October 27, 2016, 03:55:20 PM
Thanks for your reply. I contacted ICONOMI support before creating this thread but they are not even willing to give his email address.
That would be wrong from their side for confiding into your personal matters. Moreover, they can't really give your your ICN's back I believe.

-Has oksana logged in after you sent him the coins ?

-Is he aware of this thread ?

-If he hasn't seen this thread or your pm on bitcointalk, maybe he is busy and you should just wait before jumping to conclusions.

-Otherwise,don't fall for any trust feedbacks around bitcointalk,no matter whom you're dealing with, let it be anyone, always use an escrow.

is really true that what ever amount of bitcoin transaction is their , use escrow to avoid this type of getting scam problem. Iconomi wont help you as this is your mistake , why even Iconomi team have set one user to be used as escrow for ICN coins through iconomi admins. Even then if you have done this then nothing can be done, just wait for some time, if even then you are not getting reply, just start a scam accusation against the user so that DT members will remind him and give me negative trust.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 27, 2016, 03:48:15 PM
Can we directly send the ICN coin from ico.iconomi.net to kraken or liqui or any other exchange, or we have to first transfer  to myetherwallet and then to exchange.

Please can anyone help me.
1147  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: October 27, 2016, 03:43:13 PM
I give it a try let see if i get profit for this game

Only way to do that is play when it's profitable....go for the bonus at the right time and you can make it +EV

No that's not a good way to win in gambling, you get only a few bits through bonus and never a big win. You are missing the fun and luck in gambling, That might be suitable for some investments. Anyway am trying a new strategy in the site and I'll let you guys know if mine works for some period of time.

Ah, I know no strategy can work with any gambling in the long run, but hope is the word which drives us to play again. Same applies for me too

I don't believe there are no strategies that will work in the long run...I believe that's actually the best way to make long-term profit on BaB - probably the only way.

It is the universal true fact that in gambling dice or bustabit or any other game in long run you will be in loss, for short term if you are in profit better to cashout and leave that game.
1148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: October 27, 2016, 09:45:40 AM
For me, to be a good bitcoin investor we need to be a wise person. I had tried some invesment company, they paying or legitimate but in few or short days, weeks or months they will run away; they will not paying anymore.

Tried and tested tips:

1. Invest bitcoin if the company is 0-10 running days.

2. Make sure that the deposits, withdraws and member is increasing.

3. Search for more information about that company.

What ever you say but if you are investing and earning means that you are promoting the scam even knowingly, which will get harm for the old users who will be get scam and you are also liable for that scam as you are promoting their scam scheme
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, Gold and USD on: October 26, 2016, 04:32:11 PM
If anyone offer you, So which thing you want choose like

1.  BITCOINS
2.  GOLD
3.  DOLLAR (fiat currency)

If these things have same price than which thing you wanna choose? Actually I want to guess who many peoples like bitcoin.
Because if i have a offer than definitely i will choose bitcoin, because i like bitcoin more than gold, and bitcoin's price is more strong than dollar.

If you are going to ask this question here on this forum then 99% will prefer to go for bitcoin, as they knew the potential of bitcoin technology and its future. So i am also will go with bitcoin

1154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Happens if I lose my Bitcoins? on: October 18, 2016, 02:00:14 PM
If the private keys lose, then there is no way to recover your coins.so u shuold put the private key in a secure place including having a hard copy of it.

Yes you should have a backup for your private keys and also of your wallet.dat file if you have a desktop wallet. You can save this file in your USB stick or burn in cd/dvd media. If it is stored in online exchanges, then do not lose your password.

What you said about desktop wallet saving wallet.dat file and the seed key which is the main key through which you can reinstall the desktop wallet and rebuild your old wallet and you will get back your bitcoins, but in online exchanges even if you are having password but if the online wallet site goes scam then you can do nothing as you are not holding the private keys of your online wallet through which you can recover it.

so it is not recommend to keep your bitcoins in online wallet.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 18, 2016, 01:55:30 PM
bitcoin is not like fraud bank and other small financial institutions. it is fully decentralized and it runs automatically and no one needs to control it. so there is no need to control it and it doesn't depend on anyone. so obviously there is no fear of bitcoin disappearance.

Bitcoin can be the bigger ponzi scheme of the world if you think about that.
That's just numbers and people put money, the price of the numbers goes high "day after day" and well, who invest first will have a good profit Wink
Think about it.
there is only few conspicary theory that says bitcoin the biggest scam the biggest ponzi scheme
and so far only weak conspiracy theory popping up
they can prove stronger evidence , so it is just a speculation
however i personally still in between believe and doubt in bitcoin so yeah bitcoin can dissapear anytime but not soon.
Bitcoin is alive already for 7 years and will be making very soon 8 years, those theories has no funds, they pick random things to try to hit bitcoin believers, if bitcoin were something like those, it should had already failed, soo if bitcoin were a ponzi how they able to keep alive soo many years and will keep making it alive over a lot more years.
some people keep believe on those theories but only few yeah
i do believe too on bitcoin , it was the biggest thing created on internet
people should wake up and realize this soon , not against bitcoin
but still as noone can guarantee bitcoin will live forever , it has chance to dissapear right?

Bitcoin is full of surprises and anything is possible with it in near future, if price falls to extreme level then people will stop having faith in it and would hesitate in investing their money into it which can make it disappear.
yeah you know that bitcoin can make you rich immediately but also vice versa
never believe something online before
but when i know bitcoin and get more information deeply
and here i am being an active bitcoin supporter and put a lot of faith on .
That's the idea as the more you are active online the more you will understand what is bitcoin, by witnessing the daily market of bitcoin you got to meet new people here that would help you widen your knowledge about bitcoin and will help your realize how valuable bitcoin is. With that information in your head, it will increase your faith in bitcoin which would result to make you invest for your future.

Indeed it's something that is very true. All those who do not know the bitcoin and hated bitcoin is those who do not want to find out more about the bitcoin, so if they hear or read something bad about bitcoin then they will follow all the stuff that was said. So, it's something a bad thing if we can't promote bitcoin with good

This type of rumors are spread by non technically person who dont have any knowledge of technical knowledge of how bitcoin is generated and spread among the miners. As much i know bitcoin is real and not a ponzi scam scheme, it is literally mined by the real miners who are mining and earning it and apart from that their are trades online going in millions which cannot be faked on any exchange.
1156  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 18, 2016, 01:51:59 PM
Are there any known issues with withdrawals? I requested one yesterday, got on-screen info that it has been approved but nothing came through yet

Did you check your email id associated to that site , as they send the withdrawal email to confirm it, so that if anyone has hacked your account they cannot withdraw it without your consent, If that is not the problem , then i think you have to wait here for the admin to reply or just go to live support , they may be helpfull but i am in doubt as i have seen most of them are just a dump chatters who dont know much about the site details.
1157  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monero dice seed hacked? on: October 18, 2016, 01:49:12 PM
Looking at the expected variance is interesting, but obviously some dude who makes profits on a few accounts would be impossible to detect. Since you are publicly accepting investors (and were in loss even before this big winner), I do assume you are looking at logs to figure out if previous accounts potentially cheated? At minimum you could see which accounts accessed that specific API function? I don't think most users use the API. Besides that, potentially IPs/browsers/other info/etc can help to see if its possible someone else might have abused it.

The way this guy was betting, was clearly to show that he could cheat. IMO this could have 2 reasons:

1) "I already stole enough so I will just show you that your site has a vulnerability"
2) "I can cheat on here, but don't want to receive a reward and rather just show it off"

IMO the first reason seems more likely. It is exactly what HufflePuff (who stole 2000+ BTC) did on PD with account "RobbinHood".

In the end I am personally not an investor and I am not sure how many public investors your site has, but I am obviously just saying this for the investors. If a site like PD (which doesn't accept investments) had this, I wouldn't be bothering Stunna about "previous accounts" or anything.

What you told is absolutely correct, the way he was betting on continuous bets it is clear that he has done it wantedly to know the site that they have been hacked and the site seed key is known to others who are cheating the site.
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2016, 01:41:45 PM
I like the most best part of Bitcoin is that it gives me financial freedom as i am able to earn online through bitcoin like in this forum i can join signature campaign and earn, giving my skill work for bitcoin and doing some trading in altcoin and getting all info about the soccer and cricket matches for my sports betting.

This way i am able to earn bitcoins which is more then enough for my expenses to meet in monthly.
1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 16, 2016, 09:05:43 AM
Bitcoin is getting popular in India very soon as i am seeing that lot of users are here in this forum and in localbitcoins who are ready to deal with bitcoins . but the problem is their is no option of online shopping with bitcoins and what other sites are their they charge high for delivery of goods. So we have to convert in fiat currency and use bitcoins.
