There are factors needed to be successful, you need to be wise and hardworking, don't be lazy. We should take action and efforts to have our goals. For me choose the right business for you it should be your interest and you are comfortable on what you are doing... I agree that blogging can give you money, just apply it to advertising websites.
Our way of making money depends on our interest, if you do not know blogging so you will not earn in that way. Only few of us here are a good blogger who continuously make money online, but for me I do the simple one as I do not have that kind of talent, I am already satisfied with trading.
1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 03, 2016, 08:35:55 AM
Gambling isn't designed for kids, they are designed for adults obviously. Kids are too young too actually understand what they are doing. But really if they gamble I guess they know what stuff actually happens and how they work in the gambling industry, so they won't get sucked into it after they grow up.
You are right there, they are not designed for kids but you cannot restrict a kid to gamble especially when we are using bitcoin. It is easy to gamble with bitcoin as we are anonymous and even a 5 year old kid can play dice if he know how to play it.
1143  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: November 03, 2016, 08:32:09 AM
Bitcoin can be impacting so many lives in a positive way and this can be evident in the coming few years when cryptocurrencies can be entering a mature age. As to the future, no can definitely predict what can happen and how will Bitcoin bring out changes in many aspects of our lives but am sure that it will definitely be there for all of us.

As you mentioned that bitcoin had brought changes great positive changes in the lives of people in the world... I'm also one of them... from the day i started using bitcoin, my life has been changed positively as bitcoin had provided me a financial support for my life which i never had before in my life...
I think certainly bitcoin does not change your life for the better when you're only using bitcoin only right? Surely you work or do something so that you get a lot of bitcoin and you get the profit ? many people say that getting a lot of bitcoin is much easier than getting fiat. yeah it changed their lives
How would you define many? I think they have different uses, you fiat can be use anywhere and you do not nee internet connection to spend it. Bitcoin on the other hand is different as it is the hottest investment asset now in the crypto world and I would rather hold it than spend it.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 03, 2016, 08:22:53 AM
I will choose the two. But its investment is now distributed as 70% - in Bitcoins, and 30% in gold. While Bitcoin prices rise rapidly, my strategy such.
if you have enough money to invest more in gold i think much better because value of gold are continuous increasing and never been dump, but if not bitcoin is very great investment to put our money.

gold is ok if your happy with 1-2% a year
btc is the one to pick if you want 200-400%

we are standing watching  the greatest financial innovation of all time and people
are still wondering whether to buy some or not ....

ps..for anyone who maybe  new here they wondered  the same thing at $10 and $50 and $100 and $200 ...lol
go back and read threads from 2010/11........

It's a big disparity when it comes to income but with gold the income is stable and you can be happy to earn up to 2% if you have a good amount of capital but if not bitcoin is always the answer for your investment. This year we manage to double the price and that's awesome.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 03, 2016, 08:19:51 AM
i do not care about the bitcoin price much and i think most of the people do not actully do care about it except of the traders. i dont care if it rises up or down just i care about is my wallet balance and how much it is being effected by the price

Soo you are saying the price of bitcoin does matter, because the ammount you do hold into your wallet, in the end it will always be an important question for the most, the price of bitcoin and its volatility is what made several people join and invest into bitcoin.
We are not actually talking here if the price really matters to a person by person, it should be for everyone. I believe it really matters because with the current price that is rising many are happy especially those who are earning online.

Traders and investors are so happy with the big price fluctuations and even those who work for bitcoin is happy to convert their earnings to fiat.

On the whole I agree that the price does matter almost for anyone. But if you are a creator of a coin (not necessarily Bitcoin), you would mostly certainly care not so much for the price of the coin but for the overall success of your coin (unless you are an outright scammer, of course). You might say that its price reflects its success, and you would be right, to a degree. On the other hand, though, price is only one metric of success, and the more important one, as I see it, is the adoption of your coin...

For example, would Dogecoin creators care so much for its price if this coin got accepted everywhere as well as competed out fiat?
I think what makes the price of bitcoin rise is the adoption rate of the people are increasing. It was not a bubble unlike before so I am confident that the price will continue to increase as demand increases.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 03, 2016, 08:06:22 AM
There are two types of gambler, the gambler who gamble and the gambler who invest. In my opinion, I think gambler who invest is making his money grow. They apply strategies to win. They are seriously want a win-win results. It is not wrong if it is for a specific purpose that will make your life good, but if you are just gamble and there is no improvement with your life then it is bad/wrong. So check for yourself when you gamble what is the purpose of it.

Your description with two types of gamblers are just the same they are both gambling just for profit. I think you mislead the gambler who invest because that can be considered as the gambler who gambles. I think the other one are the gamblers who gambles just for fun. And people are seeing it wrong when they both loses big amount in it.
i think the meaning of what he call "the gambler who invest" to get a win-win result is thsose people who do arbitrage betting.
and the gambler who really gamble their money in 50:50 chance such as to gamble on blackjack , roulette etc.
and i agree those people who gamble with arbitrage betting strategy have no problem in gambling , nothing wrong.
What do you mean arbitrage? i think if you are still deposit and your money and gamble it there is still risk so even a 50:50 chance like other games you mention it still risky and there is no strategy in gambling.. almost are risky and you can be addicted or lose a lot of money.. there is no safe..
Maybe you should try to research on what is arbitrage is because that is a popular way to make money in gambling if only you can afford the capital to do so, you will just need to see the line difference and you can make money without risk if you have a good bankroll.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: November 03, 2016, 08:04:17 AM
You can lose everything with gambling, its all in the fact how long you keep doing it, its simple if you are asking me.
Gambling is something that can let you lose everything that you own, it can fully destroy you these days.
But gambling can rise you up from nothing to something and have everything.
You cannot avoid that you have a chance to do that , but of course it is required a huge luck and super skills .
Aware about your potential lost indeed important but you can expect this huge luck hit you too. So just take it easy.
On how rewarding gambling is it is also very risky, the game is easy while the risk is still the same. You can win some and you can lose some. The amount you can lose is only base on the amount you have but it is better to gamble only what you can afford to lose to be safe.
1148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone interested in learning how to trade bitcoin for a living? on: November 02, 2016, 12:31:37 PM
How is the class going as i can see the OP has not returned after posting this i believe they have not selected anybody to teach the magic art of trading for a living. If OP comes back i would like to have a class regarding this as i just want $50 a day with minimal bank roll Smiley
So the OP just create the thread and leave everyone to be discussing here everyday without getting the update on what he promised to offer. I thought he is picking some people and may teaching them privately or something like that if so does it cost any amount to join the class ?

I have been posting here but I have not receive any response from the OP, I think he does not really relate himself when creating this thread. If the mods found this thread to be non relevance to the topic, then maybe they should to the right action. But me, I will still wait since I am here in the forum most of the time.
1149  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: November 02, 2016, 12:25:41 PM
Technically, I don't think the negative effect OP got is because of bitcoin. It because you are too focus on your programming job, and it means you are enjoying it. So no need to blame yourself just because you don't have much time for your relatives. You will have it if you want.

Exactly, it all depends on you if how you manage your time, if you maintain your time in a good way using bitcoin it will bring a positive change in your life but if you can't manage your time with bitcoin then it would probably affect your life in a negative way.
I am just glad I discovered bitcoin because I have a good output when it comes to money with bitcoin, maybe then I would say I have manage my time very well and I have a wonderful stay here in crypto world. So I can say that bitcoin affects my life a lot.
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: November 02, 2016, 12:16:20 PM
It's really worth it as it helps the community, gives you a small profit, and helps you gain a positive reputation in this forum. If you're worried about scammers on this forum, there is definitely some, but just never give loans without any form of collateral that you can possess if they default on the loan.
It helps some people in the community, yes. Those people that really need some money and know that they can repay, those are the only people that are truly being helped by loans. But the problem is, someone can easily pretend that he's in need of money when the truth is he's just selling his collateral by getting a loan from somebody. They don't even care if they get rid of it with a lower price.
that's why only dealing with collateral which can be sold easily and above the value of the loan you have given, for some example, you can only take a collateral in form of altcoins which are worth for bitcoin and quite stable because it can be easily converted to bitcoin when the one who request loan can't repay
No question that those who take loan are help but the big question is that, is there any guarantee that the borrower will be able to repay his loan on time of will ever? The answer is no IMO, the collateral is not that valuable for some of us here especially those who take loans to gamble the money.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 02, 2016, 12:03:42 PM
As for me it is better to invest than gamble. But never invest more than you can afford to lose Wink

Investing is for growing money not to lose. Even all investment comes with some risks. One should consider investing on those who are less risks for longer term growth and some portion of money can be invested in high-risk investments to gain more profits in the short time. But shouldn't put all your money in these high-risk investments.
and no one want to even lose in gambling, every one do trading and play gambling for making money, but no one know the future that what is going to happen, as both are risky, and it depend on you, if you have some experience in gambling then you can make money in  gambling and it is less risky for you, if you have some experience in trading then you can make money in trading and gambling will be risky for you, now it depend on you that what  you want to do, either want to go for trading or to play gambling.

Surely it is that no one wants to lose in gambling at the same time. That is why I just want to choose both, gambling and investing. So investing into bankroll casino's is a good choice and as well as trading. If you just manage to lose in gambling then focus more with investment, then you will going to have a high chance of winning.

It is not about winning or losing in gambling. Gambling itself is meant to be lose for the players. So it is not practical to say that you gamble to win all the time. Therefore investment is always a better choice. However you need to do your research otherwise anyhow investing is no different from gambling.
Even in investment you do not win all the time, the only chance you have is that you will win most of the time so in the end you are still in profit. Do not gamble if you want money, instead you put your money in different investment sites here as that is a profitable activity for every investor.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: November 02, 2016, 11:56:09 AM

Yes 20% of your salary is indeed a good amount for making an investment. I myself also investing around 10% of my salary in stocks and on the other hand some of my keep allowance will go to bitcoin and make investment from it via trading. It's a good strategy for me for now and hopefully I can invest also on some other businesses once I already have enough money to do it.

That is a good percentage of a salary as an investment, with 20% of it you can reach your dreams in a short period of time. But the question is,where did you put that money? Diversification of your investment is the key.Invest in equities,it has a high return but if you want it safe, its good in government bonds. All of this mention sometimes they call it investment in paper assets.
Invest a big portion of your savings as that is your only chance that you will not be able to work in the future, what we like is to have a freedom and we can never achieve that if we are just relying on other's people business, we have to have our own and let us start our journey in investment here in bitcoin.
1153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 02, 2016, 11:44:11 AM
I agree. Trading is just about luck and It's like gambling whether the crypto value will go up or down. I think many of people lost their money at trading and some of them succeed Smiley But no easy job same as trading luck + strategy = Profit. Just Don't invest all your money in trading Smiley

You would not really fully dependent on luck  when  you are  on trading   because  it would really need some skills  and proper  knowledge  in able  to sustain  with it and you are right   trading  is not an easy  thing to do  but   we should  not  discourage  everyone here. Learning  trading would really takes time.
yes as there are so many people who have good experience and skill of trading, so they know how to predict about particular trad and their prediction are mostly proof correct, so they are really making good money in trading because of their precious prediction.
If we got enough skill to predict market movements accurately, then trading will not no more an unpredictable job. The hardest true within this must be just learning the skills to predict markets will not be enough, we must gain experience over time so that we will be able to predict market movements accurately. Experience really matters here to predict our trading calls preciously.

Very true,  if we could able to  predict already the   movement of prices   then   trading  is  not   unpredictable  job already and for sure  most experienced  traders would  be rich already as of now. Moving  prices  is the main thing  here  thats why trading  is a really hard  job hence   we cant  really predict  the  future  on what  way  does it move but  if you are experienced or  pro  enough  you could somehow  increase  the chance  of making succesful trades .
Nobody can predict the exact outcome of the price, we are just guessing here and since trading is an unpredictable job, our job here is to predict the right outcome and if we are right most of time we will surely make profits. The price of bitcoin is now rising, I do trade so I predict the price will rise again up to $1,000 this year and I should buy now.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: November 02, 2016, 11:39:16 AM
A skilled and experience gambler has a chance to be successful because he studies gambling and improve his method although it's hard to win.
But your experience has nothing to do with your fortune moments. Only if you are extremely lucky and you may have some lucky times then you will be able to crack profits. So, your studies and strategies has nothing to do for profit making in gambling. Whereas trading requires studies and strategies so experience also. Trading has lot of differences from gambling never consider trading as gambling.

Agree, Trading requires studies and strategies instead of gambling, and in gambling it requires only Luck, no experience and no strategy, only letter bit skills require but only a few games of gambling, but still luck you need it in gambling. Secondly, trading is also risky and same like gambling but it mustily depend on your skills and knowledge than your profit is depend on your luck.
Luck is just the next option and what is you focus in order to be successful in trading is you need to study and learn from your mistakes, improving your method right that would give you chance to prosper. Most traders who are successful have a hard journey but they work hard to reach that level of success.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 02, 2016, 11:33:46 AM
Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder total points area looks good to throw some money over there for over 207 points @2.147. Although there is no consistency in scoring points but mostly are going over this range. I had picked this for me instead of going to be with any side strictly because it is hard to guess they are equal till now.
If I had to choose between the two teams, I will go with the more balanced LA Clippers. Those wins by OKC are over non-playoff teams. If the Clippers can somehow contain Russell Westbrook and limit his effectivity, I am sure they can win because they are playing pretty well themselves right now.
Yeah when it comes to balance, i think okc is relying too much on westbrook which should obviously be the point of lac's defense. I'm not sure though if anyone at this point would be able to contain russ with the way he's playing even if those are non playoff teams
OKC relies only on westbrook in the offense but you cannot underestimate their big men, they can guard both Griffin and Jordan. Then who  will contain westbrook then, this guy can shoot, assist, and rebound. He is an all around player and could compete the LAC tomorrow.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 02, 2016, 11:23:56 AM
It's possible.. but someone must represent bitcoin and introduce it to the world and it would be a very hard job because there would be a lot of discussions, questions that needs to be answered and in the end all countries will decide if they're going to accept bitcoin as the world/global currency. I enjoyed bitcoin a lot for as long as I'm profiting money from it then that would be fine for me. Cheesy
We will go down to the lowest level in the community as we are only limited to transacting online. Do not expect that we can make all people adopt with bitcoin because only those who are educated with crypto currency will understand about bitcoin. Despite of the limited users, we can still call it as a global currency since it was accepted globally.

I don't think it is necessary to be educated with crypto currency to accept Bitcoin. What percentage of the people who are using computers have an idea how they really work? I think it would be less than 1%. So it is enough to be convenient to use for most people to be used by them. Bitcoin is definitely becoming a Global Currency whether anybody wants it or not.
It could be more on us because we are the users of bitcoin and not other people who does not have the idea of what bitcoin really is. Most of the businesses that are using bitcoin are so profitable, like take it for example a gambling industry, they are booming because of bitcoin and since gamblers are all around the world it will certainly grow.
1157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: November 02, 2016, 11:15:09 AM
the fastest way to grow btc is gambling but it is not for everyone
For no one too. Gambling should not be considered as the fastest way to grow bitcoin because gambling is the game of chance, you never can tell, someone can just put in his bitcoin and lose it to some other person in few minutes. To the fastest way to grow bitcoin is to go into trading, but before you do that make sure you sond knowlege of the trading.
Knowledge can be learn so that should be in your mind, nowadays information are for free and you can access it over the internet and you do not need to study for it, just learn by reading and trying with a small amount in the start if you are a newbie. Only trading and investing gives you a good chance to grow your bitcoin here.
1158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: November 02, 2016, 11:07:26 AM
Both for me, but Skill is a little more important than luck. Because in trading you have to think how you can get a big money.
but in my opinion luck is more important than skill,if you have luck but don't have skill you can still keeping up trading because you have the luck and maybe every after buying you will see the price is rising and you get profit whilst with skill it's uncertain

As quoted luck plays an big role in profiting, though the person doesn't have much skills. At the same luck won't give a constant earning, because every time luck won't stay with certain persons. Skill is not like that, we can make strategies and move on to get a constant earning. I believe that the person with skills is always lucky.

Yes indeed, luck is the basis for profit. Even so skills are also indispensable in trade. Because if we use trade only rely on luck it will not be profitable, so it is very necessary skills. With the skill we can increase the chances of luck.

the only reason why people around here use the word luck for trading around here is because sometimes prices don't move with any logic and mostly in altcoin prices they are moving based on pump and dumps and no reason whatsoever.

you will never hear a forex trader or a stocks broker say trading is luck!!!
you only hear it here because it is full of newbie traders with no knowledge of trading at all.
Very well said, newbie think trading is an easy journey because they only hear stories of successful traders. In real life, we need to understand that trading is something that we can work well to make a serious amount of money. If we succeed in the long run that means we have the skills and we can consistently profit from trading, and that everyone should do.

Newbie would surely think of this  that  trading is an easy thing to do  because  most  people  saying here is  trading  is  the most  best  way to make money  and   if a newbie   would  able to read those  they would surely think of it  but  as you mentioned  trading   is not easy  and  it does  really need  some  skills and experience  to it  in able to be  profitable and you are  battling against price movements  .

I agree with you that newbies that use trading to make a profit will provably fail.
But please consider that an important role in trading is luck,so if a newbie that does not understand a lot in trading has a lot of luck he may success in  trading, and will be able to make some profits of it.
Dude that's normal because you are still learning when you are newbie and it's fine as long as this newbie are willing to learn will rise every time he falls. It's a continuing process probably and I understand the newbie as once I was also a newbie until I learn the art of trading.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 01, 2016, 06:28:21 AM
Bitcoin is definitely being used for illegal activities, but hey, united states dollars and great britain pounds are also being used for illegal activites! And they are currency produced by the government. So are you going to blame the government for facilitating these illegal trades because they are printing the currency? Definitely not!
There's no difference between the fiat and bitcoin because that two can be used in illegal activities and if people are concluding that bitcoin is mostly use for illegal activities but how do you rate fiat since fiat users are 99% of the total world population and that makes a statement that all can be use for illegal activities and fiat are mostly used than bitcoin.
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: November 01, 2016, 06:22:17 AM
Definitely not "good at" any gambling games because you can't really achieve a good consistent return from gambling whatever game you play in my opinion. But I like playing dice, and blackjack.
You record tells a lot and it does not mean that if you have a positive record you pass on the requirement of good in gambling because it's hard to achieve. I think the more realistic way to be good in gambling is when we lose only a few but getting the right entertainment.
