London attack: Four dead in Westminster terror attack

Three people have died and at least 40 have been injured after an attacker drove a car along a pavement in Westminster, stabbed a policeman and was shot dead by police in the grounds of Parliament.

The dead officer was named as PC Keith Palmer, 48, a husband and father.

PM Theresa May said the attack on Wednesday was "sick and depraved" and struck at values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech.
The attacker has not been named.

Acting Deputy Commissioner and head of counter-terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, Mark Rowley, said they think they know who he is and that he was inspired by international and Islamist-related terrorism, but gave no further details.

11402  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: March 23, 2017, 09:36:52 AM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?

I can really relate with this because after I had discovered ways to earn money online using bitcoin, even my mates who knows what I earn on a monthly basis still wonders how I get money all they know is that they see me with either the computer doing one or two things or even with my tab which they might inteprete to me chatting with friends but bitcoin has been able to make that possible as I have less time to waste online and even wasting my money for internet subscription without any yield.

I think you deserved what you earned with bitcoin because it looks like you are guy that don't want easy money. You work hard either by trading or joining a signature campaign and your mate doesn't know where your money is coming from. If you show them how to earn bitcoin but still they don't want to get their "hands dirty", then its their lost. Also you are right saying that you don't waste your time online like gaming or facebook or other stuff, because once you are in from of your PC, you are already earning. You can even help your parents to pay other bills I guess. Good Job!!!
11403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using LastPass as Bitcoing Users - Bad Idea? on: March 23, 2017, 08:40:50 AM
I am against it as a Bitcoin user. If you are like me and have many exchanges like Yobit,Poloniex etc then I don't suggest it. Not that I am against it but I found the best way is to put all your passwords in a protected word document and then archive it with Winrar. Use a password with at least 20 characters including special characters Uppercase and Numbers which only make sense to you and store it in D: E: F: whatever your second partition is called. Also keep it in at least 2 usb-s one 3.0 speed, one 2.0 speed. I never lose a password this way even when I have to format my PC.

We have similar method mate. I used to have password manager as well before, but the issue I had is that if they breached your master password all your password will be comprised. That's why I backup all my password not in a word document, but in a excel file. Because excel file for me is easy to use because I can create separate tabs for different password in about any site I have an account to and put additional information in there like here in forum, my user profile link, my wallet address, my current signature campaign and password or rank is saved in a spreadsheet.

I don't think that telekinesis don't exist. I don't know how our mind can influence or manipulate object to move? But I remember when I was a kid I try to emulate those superheroes with telekinetic ability.  Grin Those that claim that they have they super ability failed when they are being experiment in a controlled environment. And I have read about, Uri Geller became the world's best-known psychic and made millions traveling the world demonstrating his claimed psychokinetic abilities including starting broken watches and bending spoons.  And how the amazing  James Randi, who has accused Geller repeatedly of trying to pass off magic tricks as paranormal displays.

11405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Shorting profitable??? on: March 23, 2017, 07:20:30 AM
As what others have said, shorting is too risky and only the experience of the trader do it. Even those who have deep knowledge of this sometimes lost as well. You can even lose 100% here. So unless if you are a very professional trader who has built up the needed experience through out the years of study to play this kind of game then short selling is for you otherwise, stick to short or long term investment to see you profits.

Bats Exchange is Fighting the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF Rejection

Bats BZX Exchange has filed a petition to review a decision by the SEC to reject a bitcoin investment vehicle proposed by investors Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.

Filed on 17th March, the move is the first public attempt by an entity involved in the Winkelvoss Bitcoin Trust effort to push for a review of its 10th March rejection, a decision that followed three years of filings in an attempt to launch the product.

If approved, the Winkelvoss Bitcoin Trust would have been the first exchange-traded fund to offer exposure to the digital currency to retail investors. It would have listed on the Bats BZX Exchange, one of the largest US equities markets.

At the time, the SEC found that bitcoin's market was perhaps too immature to support such a product, citing a lack of regulation and the potential risk for fraud.

Notably, the petition was filed under rule 430(b)(1) of the SEC's Rules of practice.

According to the SEC’s website, Rule 430(b)(1) enables parties to file a notice of petition within five days of the ruling (or within 15 days of its publishing in the Federal Registrar), provided clear reasons for the petition are given.

The rule goes on to state that the SEC, under this clause, may "affirm, reverse, modify, set aside or remand" the prior contested action as part of the review.

As noted in the filing, Bats is now gearing up to file additional documents.

The statement reads:

"Bats intends to file separately a petition for review in accordance with Rule 430(b)(2) of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Rules of practice."

Fire the Miners? Radical Ideas Emerge as Bitcoin Fork Talk Escalates

Bitcoin is in a state of emergency – or, at least, the community thinks so.

Tensions are high as bitcoin's long-standing scaling debate escalated this week, with some miners talking openly about forcing a possible bitcoin fork that could result in two competing coins.

If that's not enough of a concern, some miners have even been discussing a possible attack on the old blockchain once they move on to mining the new one – dialogue that has prompted concerning statements from exchanges and other industry startups.

It's unclear if either will happen, and others aren't terribly concerned, with some going as far as to describe the recent frenzy as an attempt at price manipulation.

But amid all this, developers seem to be at least responding to community pressures, putting forth creative, if controversial, solutions, such as a way of making upgrades to bitcoin that depends on the economy rather than mining pools.

11409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time to short Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2017, 02:33:25 PM
Today prices are showing huge upside momentum hence we can expect prices continue its rarely and this time it may break $1300 levels to test $1350 and then $1400 levels before making any U turn. As per my technical analysis this is not the right time to short bitcoins.

The major exchanges are showing good volume in the buyer side which must be counted as the supporting sentiment among traders for another huge rally. This is happening after bitcoin Unlimited faces sudden crash problems, it is believed people will continue their support for bitcoin core and hence we can expect more investors to adopt bitcoins.

Exactly. BU is still not reliable as of now too many bugs and exploits found on the system. That's why is better to support bitcoin now because it has its own problem also but not big enough to cause any sudden crash. Although bitcoin price is really unstable this past couple of days, but hopefully it will pick the price up to $1200-$1300 and stay there and close out the year at $2000. Also, it looks like a good amount of investor is putting up money in the bitcoin ecosystem maybe they think that bitcoin is a good investment now and a potential huge profit is on the horizon.
11410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 22, 2017, 01:47:45 PM
Dallas Mavericks 87 - 112 Golden State Warriors
The Golden State did not leave control in the second half, Mavericks did not allow the match to become a partner for a second. Warriors, who seemed to have found himself after the turbulent days, scored the victory series to 5 and reduced the difference between Spurs and the Spurs to 2.5. Steve Kerr, 28th away winner of the season, was the only team to win 28 away games in 3 seasons.
It is looking like the Warriors are again having a solid hold of the number one overall spot in the whole of NBA. They have been able to adjust their game without Kevin Durant. The playoffs is fast approaching and we are seeing a lot more intensity from a lot of teams, with a lot of players getting into small fights.

Yes, they were able to adjust without KD and also they got past over their shooting slump as compare the previous week. Stephen and Klay has regain their shooting touch. Good thing that they were able to adjust before the playoffs so that they have a solid chance to go to finals again. The win kept the Warriors 2.5 games up on the Spurs for the West’s top seed. And what a dunk from David West, highlight of the night for me. Grin Grin

11411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! (again) on: March 22, 2017, 01:07:52 PM
This fall in price is an indication that a huge pump is coming soon. Those who buy during now will reap the benefits of their foresightedness.
If you can't buy,atleast don't sell.
But markets do not care about individuals nor group of people as sentiments of traders will not be same all the times but over progress of price movement, all the people including aggressive traders are finding their decisions going in the same directions of market sentiment, hence people will be enforced to take buying decisions over time.

Bitcoin prices are again testing $1100 level after sudden fall in the last week. I guess this current up surge will take bitcoin prices into $1500 levels as long as there will be no negative impacting news.

I say give it a few days to see where it goes. Its too early to say but I believe it will level up again in $1200-$1300 in a few days. If this happen then I think we can all relax now. I hope there is no negative news in the future, although there might be a roadblock soon in the future, bitcoin ecosystem has proven to be to have the power or ability to return to the original position and even getting stronger and bigger. So $2000 price to the end of the year!!!.
11412  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 22, 2017, 12:46:45 PM
I am one of the bitcoin investors who like to store the bitcoin for long time. Looking at the bitcoin price chart since beginning, you can easily make out what benefit we are getting for storing bitcoin, it is pure profit. People like me, have a definite goal in mind which they want to achieve. I too have a goal in mind which I want to achieve within 5 years down the line.

When I started earning bitcoin, the price of one bitcoin was close to $400. So looking at the current price, you can surely understand that how much profit I have already made just by storing bitcoin. I also tried to invest bitcoin in various online websites like p2p lending and savings programs. But 90% of them are scam and I have never received my money back.

That is the reason why I have stopped investing in online websites and started trading with it. This is the only method which has rewarded me suitably. I trade with a minor percentage of my bitcoin which keeps my money rolling and I also earn well from trading. But I don’t invest my bitcoin in any other source just to keep them safe.

This is a classic example on why bitcoin is a good investment in the long term. Storing or holding bitcoin and not panic and keep on buying specially if the market price is too low will lead you to profits in the long run. To be honest, I admire your resiliency and seeing the future of bitcoin and keeping your goal to have to be able to hold much longer your bitcoin. I hope a lot of community member will read this and "copy" your blueprint on what a investor should be. Kudos to you.
11413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Secret societies on: March 22, 2017, 10:00:30 AM
Yes definitely they exist. But the ones controlling the world are not freemasons. Those guys are just a bunch of scapegoats. The real controllers are the ones with all the money. Money is everything in this world and the ones who control the money control everything else.

So the bankars? the jews? Ah yes... The society that controlls the money and therefore is real... wait a moment...

The society that controlls the money and therefore is real..

the money and therefore is real...

therefore is real.. therefore isreal.. Isreal! I knew it... It's the jews!
Hahahaha, you remind me of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03_Tby_ICCw (although some of what he said actually make sense).

I believe that Secret Societies exist, especially The Illuminati. Their symbols and supporters are simply everywhere. They appear in Movies, Songs, Games, Cartoons, etc. Every time I look at the singers, I feel The Illuminati exists and runs perfectly; Lady GaGa is the ideal example of them, she swears by Lucifer all the time. Every now and then, we hear names shining all of a sudden - coming from nowhere and becoming super stars in a matter of days.

Secret society is not secret anymore if they are already exposed. Although I believed that their is a secret society but I doubt they can control the world. Illuminati for one, it says "society's goals were to oppose superstition, obscurantism, religious influence over public life and abuses of state power." However, if you look at what Illuminati today, they say that they worship Lucifer and money. So I don't think Illuminati exist today, because if is, then it contradict to what the society's goal is.

Your blogs looks good although it looks like it is still young blog. I try to play around with your site and some of them are empty. As others some mentioned before me, put SEO on it so that you will rank in Google and you will see organic traffic in your website. As what they say, content is  the king so add unique articles in your blog. I think you can write your own article because you said that you are fascinated about bitcoin and it would be easy for you to write one. Goodluck!!!

Circle Urges User Caution As Bitcoin Hard Fork Looms

Payments startup Circle suggested in an email to users today that, in order to avoid the potential negative consequences of a hard fork on the network, they may want to to sell their bitcoins.

In an email late Monday, Circle – which dropped support for buying and selling bitcoin in December, but still offers wallet services – outlined its contingency plan ahead of a possible network split.

According to Circle's missive (which accompanied a lengthy update to the its user agreement), its bitcoin services could be disrupted "for an extended period of time" should a fork take place. Services interrupted would include the ability for users to convert holdings from bitcoin to another available currency on the platform.

Yet, Circle went on to advise users to move their bitcoins to other platforms – or consider selling them altogether.

The startup wrote:

"The only way to avoid the potential negative consequences of a bitcoin fork is to not hold bitcoin. Just go to Settings > Currency and convert your balance to dollars, pounds or euro (availability is based on where you live). You'll then be able to hold those funds with Circle or cash out instantly."

Reckless or Doable? Bitcoin Algorithm Change Sparks Backlash

POW ALGORITHM CHANGE: ‘DOABLE’ OR ‘RECKLESS’?

A flurry of social media activity Monday accompanied confusion as to which parties from Bitcoin Core supported the concept, which would place mining back in the hands of small-scale individuals.

“A soft fork change of Bitcoin’s proof of work algorithm is entirely doable,” Bittorrent creator Bram Cohen tweeted introducing a post he wrote on the topic.

An admonishment came in the form of noting the use of “many PoWs” would be a “bad idea that generally gets the worst of everything rather than the best.”

VOORHEES: ‘IT’S NOT LEGIT’

Cohen’s comments contrast strongly with those of ShapeShift CEO Erik Voorhees, who called the idea of altering PoW “the most absurd and reckless thing I’ve heard in the scaling debate.”

Maute group has established presence in Metro—‘Bato’

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Tuesday said that the Lanao-based Maute group has established its presence in Metro Manila following the arrest of a fifth suspect in the foiled bombing near the United States Embassy in Manila last year.

“This discovery leads us to believe that the Maute group has already established a presence in Metro Manila. As to what extent, that is the subject of our follow-up investigations and operations,” Dela Rosa said in a press conference where he presented the suspect.

Nasip Ibrahim, an alleged Maute extremist, was arrested inside the Salam Compound in Barangay (village) Culiat in Quezon City Monday evening.

This wannabee wants to impressed ISIS so that they will be recognized by the group and be a terror cell in the Philippines. Good thing the PNP caught almost all of them. They wanted to bomb the US embassy, the Nazareno procession and the Miss Universe recently held in the Philippines. This will be another challenge for the Duterte government.

11418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost 1,100 on: March 21, 2017, 01:08:06 PM
It is $1100 now.
That was a quick rise in price.

When I woke up 2 hours ago it was $1049 so I was saying it was going to be one of those days just like the last week.
Now it raised $50 in the last half an hour. Shocked
What is the cause of this sudden surge in price?

Price is recovering that what is happening. Cant found out any new news about implementing something but this is for me recovery to 1150 like it way before the fall. Just to remain as it is.

Great news. We just need to be to be very observant about the jump in price. I would rather have it slowly, but a sudden rise because I think that the sudden rise will also equate to a sudden drop. We hope this price rise will continue in a few days and we are back in the $1200-$1300 price again. Panic selling is over, we just need to be sure that this is not a sudden pumping. In a week or two we can really see the real price and hopefully it will rise up to the end of the year.
11419  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 21, 2017, 12:35:32 PM
Ya it is true that market have not reacted so much on the news of rejection from ETF but it reacted when it got cleared of Bitcoin Hard fork. and now it is getting out the fear as they are knowing it the difference very soon.

After the exchanges have declare that there will be a separation between BTC and BTU the  public in fear has returned to bitcoin and are no longer worried. That is probably the main reason why bitcoins value is now going up again. Possibly next week the price will hit again at 1200$ and to those who are loyal to bitcoin and have not panicked a good roi is waiting for you.

Yeah, the panic is over for now. Although this is remain to be seen in a couple of days before the market price could normalized again at $1200-$1300. And hopefully, we won't go to that scenario again because its causes a lot of anxiety and disappointment to community members. Again, I did not panic myself, I just feel said what the current situation is. FUD is still there, but I think some people already know what the real situation is that's why there are buying or pumping bitcoin ecosystem. We just need to be vigilant until next week and hope the price will rise slowly.
11420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 210: Cormier vs Johnson Info and Prediction Thread on: March 21, 2017, 10:31:37 AM
Bellator 175, King Mo versus Quinton Rampage Jackson is also on march 31st.

Daniel Cormier says he will KO Anthony Johnson standing.

I don't know about that.  Undecided

Cain Velasquez has been out on injury for a long time. When Cain is injured, Daniel Cormier usually can't get his full training in. He needs Cain for sparring.

I think Anthony Johnson could get the win.

I doubt he can KO Johnson standing and he will not fight standing with Rumble. For me he is just saying this, to throw off Johnson and is trying to get in his head before the fight. I remember Tito Ortiz saying that he will go toe to toe with the Iceman and look what happened to him. I think this will still a grinding bout between the two. From the start of the bell, DC will use his wrestling against Rumble so that he can't get good shots until Johnson gets tired and gas out in the next couple of rounds and DC will submit him. Just my thoughts on how the fight will be.
