The amount is too less dear. Who will post for just BTC 0.000003709 Per New Post? If you increase the price to at least 0.0005 BTC per post, I am interested in this job.

If the person is asking to meet in Starbucks, there's no harm but make sure not to have any drink they offer. $20 is not a big amount and if one wants to have a cash deal, they may need the cash and hence are offering a discount. It's better not to deal with people in person especially because we don't know the person personally but if you're comfortable with such deal, it's fine.

I've also seen at least one listing for an account on level 2 default trust. It was awhile ago, and if I remember right it sold for a fairly high amount. But I agree, once you start selling accounts with high trust ratings, or being on default trust then chances are the account being sold will be used for scamming rather than making money on signature campaigns.
IMO the chance of a sold trusted account successfully scamming are not very good these days because people always asks for a signed message when they have a hunch or see a little change in your way of posting. The only way a user can get to know whether the account is sold or not is by checking any changes in the password (which has a record only of the past 30 days) or when the user posts any thread. What if he/she sends a message to newbies who don't bother asking for a signed message. Not everyone over here does ask for a signed message while trading unless they find the account having a suspicious behavior. The only reason these accounts are sold is because of paid signatures else they are useless/worthless and unfortunately people buy these accounts for scamming rather than signature campaigns.

I totally agree with that but sometimes people sell their accounts discretely. If a scammer buys a hero account he could have the intention of using a previously trusted hero account to trick people into being scammed. Personally I think it takes a long time to become a hero member, it's sort of an achievement so I'd never dream of selling mine when I become a hero member.
To directly respond to the OP hero accounts are nowhere near worthless, you can earn over 6 BTC a year as a hero member just by participating in a pay per post signature campaign. If you're on here a lot posting then you might aswell get paid for it.
There are some members who sell their Hero accounts and sometimes even Legendary accounts as they don't want to deal in bitcoins ever. For them, their BCT account would be lying untouched and would become useless and hence they sell it to earn about $50-$100. It's a good deal for them. I wouldn't be surprised if an escrow too thinks of selling their accounts but that's a rare case which could be dangerous.

You can earn $7 more and exchange Payza for BTC using the website itself. You need to pay only a 2% fee else here on the forum people ask for 5-10% more.

I have 0.0738 BTC to exchange via IMPS/NEFT. Let me know if you are interested in buying the same.

I knew that this member was a scammer. He wanted to deal with me sometime back and I asked him to use MZ as an escrow but he refused saying that MZ has negative feedback and he then suggested to use localbitcoins to trade with him. Anyone who refuses to use escrow here should be avoided This user has a pretty old account but it seems the account is a bought one. Edit: Glad you got your money back

Even if accounts were not traded here, you shouldn't trust the rank or feedback of any account. Usually it's advised to use an escrow if you aren't sure but still you need to check an account's credibility before trading with any person on the forum. Escrows don't usually trade their accounts and hence most of them can be trusted. Eg: Tomatocage.

Buyers/Sellers mainly check the localbitcoin rate and bid their price as per the website. Here people just quote their own individual rate like 5%-10%. Usually people have a 1:1 transaction and hence for $1000, you will get $1000 worth BTC.

I trade only with a local trader and I do not use any website like localbitcoins (even though I had 2 listings on the website for which I did not get any buyer). I did not find any website that can give me a better deal rather than a local trader who gives me the price I wish for my bitcoins.

You can sell almost everything in the Marketplace but when anyone asks you about a proof of how you obtained it, you should be able to provide the same (unless the product you are selling is legit and allowed to be sold by the brand/company). If you sell MSDN keys, you should provide a proof else you will likely be called a scammer as it's not allowed by Microsoft. However, you are still allowed to sell it.
I've seen users selling illegal PayPal chargeback guides and methods to scam websites which aren't allowed here. Basically, one needs to apply common sense when selling and know what they should sell and what they shouldn't.

This post shouldn't be in meta as it's a suggestion for only signature campaigns and for the manages of the campaign.
It's arguable, especially if he's suggesting the forum admins essentially 'force' campaigns to do this or to have a 'proper' report link in the signature (like we do for posts already). I don't think it would be a good idea to 'force' the campaign managers to have this feature then as in any case we can message the respective managers if we notice an abuse. It's mainly an idea for managers and this would be like making the forum admins go 'out of the way' for these signature campaigns by making this a compulsion. The respective managers can think about adopting it though.

I agree with the opinion though as it will help the managers to be notified of those users who are abusing their campaigns but spamming and it will be easier for users to report them. Some managers also address their PMs when they receive such reports while in case of reporting spammers, the forum already has a report button.

The media isn't completely wrong while addressing bitcoin but they look more at the negative aspects than the positives. They consider it illegal due to which even I thought it's illegal but the truth is that it isn't legalized but still not legal. Bitcoins being associated with scams is a harsh truth which media isn't wrong while stating.
So the fact is that media isn't wrong about bitcoin but only talks about it negatively as it's not recognized.

|
It's something good to note that the OP received negative feedback after making this post. If scammers now start working as escrows, this bitcoin community is doomed for sure.

if you received usd why you convert to INR?
I dint convert it but Skrill automatically saves the cash in INR as I have an Indian Skrill account. Do you know how to save the currency in USD? Is there any feature which can do this?
|
|
|
yes , but payment procesor tipically apply a lower rate, so I can offer exchange in okpay, - 3% of amount what I receive in my skrill balance
Sorry dear but I am interested only in a 1:1 exchange. The amount I had received wsa $4.75 which Skrill exchanged at a rate of INR 61 for 1 USD while the market rate was INR 63.75. Hence I will take $4.47 for my Skrill cash of INR 285.76. Can't go in loss as already I am losing $0.28 in this.
