Chelsea vs. Liverpool was one of the more challenging games last weekend; I expected Liverpool to dominate and take advantage because Chelsea has new players who have yet to develop excellent chemistry, but the opposite proved true. Sevila performance was really great in today's match against Manchester city who happens to be the star club in the last season and more also one of the leading clubs in the first leg games of this season, but in tonight match, Sevila really thought them a great lesson because the held the club down up until the 90 minutes plus was over and also were able to end the match on a draw after a tough penalty shootout, this performance is indeed what we expect from most of the smaller clubs giving the bigger clubs tough time, this is what excite football fans most, and it also what makes football an exciting game.
Manchester City has added another trophy to their chest. They were the favorites and they proved their worth. City had a greater hold of the midfield and dominated the game. Kudos to Palmer for canceling En-Nesyri's goal in the second half. If not for that goal Sevilla would have defended their single goal till the end. The match was not rough or physical and only two yellow cards were issued which went to Servilla players. I never expected that game will be decided by penalties because City has the quality to score more goals. But the discipline and hard work of the Spanish side restricted City's fierce attack. Penalties are a combination of luck and skills, so Sevilla was once again unlucky. The Spanish side has lost this trophy more than any European club. Congratulations to Pep Guardiola's Citizens for adding the 15th trophy since the coach took over the club in 2016. I wouldn't be able to argue about that possibility on Kylian Mbappe's part. Whether he plays for money or plays for himself or for the good of his team is his business. We just enjoy his good looks, but on the other hand things related to him are worth mentioning. Real Madrid will consider Kylian Mbappe's attitude before they offer him a contract. Mbappe infuriated PSG with his attitude towards the team, clearly not reflecting anything worthy of being called a mature star player. In his way, I don't think Kylian Mbappe will win the Ballon d'Or during his future career despite playing at Real Madrid. Neymar is officially joining Al-Hilal finally. I think he has taken the best path for himself now. Because he didn't have a good relationship with PSG lately and it was time to leave for Neymar. As he has been getting injured quite often he hasn't been a big use for PSG in the recent times either.
Neymar is quite young to move to a less competitive league right now, but it is what it is! The relationship between PSG and Neymar broke down a long time ago, and the club have just been waiting for the best offer to sell him. I'm pretty sure Neymar wanted to stay in Europe, but it is difficult to find a team than can pay his salaries/wages, and also pay a good fee to PSG for signing him. The Saudi's have come with such wealth/money, and they make transfers like this look so easy, thus in the end PSG got a very good fee and neymar's salaries/wages is just absolutely ridiculous, so win-win for all parties, though i know Neymar wouldn't be completely happy, it wasn't supposed to end like this. Joining the ranks of other Brazilian talented player's who ended their wonderful football game at the peakmof their careers. Neymar already has no good relationship with the fanbase. They want him gone and now he finally found a club to pay of whatever fee he wants. No European club in Europe would want to spend that even buying and paying such fees for a player who can't play half a season for his club. Manchester united capitalized on the game and stole it at a moment we were starting to think the game was gonna end in a draw. If I wanna be neutral I'll say Manchester united didn't deserve the win they got tonight as a draw would have made the game parallel for both sides. The team was struggling and not possessing the ball as we had expected for a team like Manchester United against an average EPL team like wolves. If they continue this way then they're going to experience a hard season ahead. You are free to have your say about the performance and the outcome of the game but I do not agree that winning is not deserved. Manchester United struggled to win the game and they struggled to do so throughout the first half, but it all came midway through the second half. Wolves had many good chances to score, but poor finishing didn't help them get a goal until the end of the game. For me it was a very interesting match, I mean both teams have a threatening game. Wolves tried harder to score goals, but they had to admit today's loss to Manchester United. No regrets, they have tried. You are right, Man United did not deserve what it takes to win that match last night, wolves was a better sides unlike Man United. They should have scored in the both halves of the game but they really lacked goal scorer to lead the attack. That is something to improve on really. If they can continue this way this season they will finish better unlike the previous season. Man United had no midfied, Mason Mount was poor, Rashford too dull, the defenders and Onana wrapped it up for United. Golden Goal from Varane else it wouldn't have ended three points for United. |

Unfortunately, the football career of Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior will finally come to an end in the Saudi professional league. It was predicted that he is a good competition for Ronaldo and Messi but he failed to perform up to expectations due to injuries and an unruly lifestyle. He experienced so many injuries during his playing time mostly in PSG which affected his performance and the number of goals he scored. Victor Osimhen now extended his contract with Napoli and now they signed a new contract with this player however it took some time for Napoli and Osimhen to accept the deal because Osimhen wanted to have a cheaper release fee so if any team sent him an offer they could leave Napoli easier but in the end, 150m is the release fee for Osimhen and he will get 10m yearly to play in Napoli until 2026. I think Tuchel is a fantastic manager no doubt. But the obstacles at Bayern München is too much. I don't even know how they got into this mess. A club that prioritised football is now being run like a small institution. Sometimes, I feel their problem started from when they changed to Nagelsmann. People think it started with Tuchel but NO. I want to know who's causing this issue in that hierarchy. Its not a tactical issue. Something is wrong with the culture and that place is becoming toxic for foreigners.
I admire Tuchel and his pattern of coaching but sometimes I have to be honest to myself. I do not consider Tuchel as a very good tactician that can influence a match that was hosted to go against him. If Bayern management has issues, and Tuchel comes in from the management aspect, I don't think he can influence any decisions. Bayern got it wrong by dismissing Nagelsmann without reasons. I think that is the genesis of Bayern's problem. Honestly I am perceiving a difficult season for Bayern I agree, the way he was dismissed wasn't proper but now we have to focus on what's ahead and not a coach Bayern Munich has dismissed for over two to three months. The lose was good but they don't need to focus too much on it, yes critics will go about talking that is what they do best. Now onto the first game of the season. Harry Kane will not struggle he will be a great signing for Bayern Munich. Nagelsmann has done his part, now it is time for Thomas Tuchel to do his own part. |
