Caicedo is a good player, but he is overpriced, and I am not too concerned about this transfer. Many Chelsea fans and people who have been monitoring this transfer have over-hyped him a lot because of the price tag on him. The price of a player does not always reflect the value a player can provide to a club that wants him. Some cheaper players from smaller leagues have played better than their price tags, while some expensive players have become wasted money for clubs that signed them based on the performance they had in their last season. Caceido can just end up being just like other Chelsea players, with mid-performance and no good reflection of what was paid for him.
I usually don’t get myself concerned with people that say he is not worth that much, all i tell them is to go back and watch his clips and also wait until he plays so they can decide if is worth the price. If Declan Rice is worth 100m then I don’t see a reason why he should not worth even more because Rice doesn’t have his work rate, for a DM you are expected to be rugged and be able to win balls and that’s one of his special abilities and for Chelsea fans they see him as Kante’s replacement so he is worth the hype for them. I have believe in Caicedo that he would be the perfect replacement for Ngolo Kante and also a good partner for Enzo Fernandez.

I don’t know man. I still think that it was a lot of money. Probably not too much money because almost everyone with a little bit of potential is 100 million right now. So in that sense, it is probably not that bad. But I think all that money is going to be worth spending if he does perform well with the team. I don’t think any club regrets their decision on spending money when the player that they bring in actually performs.

Moreover, it is imperative to note that equating this individual with Kante, from the perspective of Chelsea fans, does not imply that exorbitant sums must similarly be disbursed for each subsequent player. I am not trying to disrespect any player or the decision of any club. I am just saying that probably they could have brought him in for less money.

Has this really happened that Neymar has officially joined Al Hilal?
It seems like only yesterday that I was discussing Al Hilal's offer for Neymar and now I read your feedback and saw it in the transfer market it is true that Al Hilal has managed to bring Neymar to the Saudi League.
It's shocking news but it's a shame I missed the train for this one transfer news.

PSG no longer rely on Neymar as their attack line player because he had experienced several injury cases and PSG also seemed not to trust Neymar so much.
Now Neymar has freedom and he can get what he deserves.
Congratulations to Neymar and I hope he can give his best for Al Hilal in the Saudi League.

Previously many had suspected that Neymar would move this season because we know he has a problem with PSG fans and also some other reasons, Neymar's father has denied the rumors of his move but the fact is that it really happened. From the PSG side, they actually still need Neymar but injury reasons and high wages forced them to let him go and Al Hilal ready to wait for him, today or tomorrow we should hear an official announcement from Al Hilal as both sides have agreed.

80 million had to be paid by Al Hilal to bring in Neymar and so far Neymar holds the record for the most expensive transfer in the Saudi league but his salary per season is lower than Ronaldo.

High wages certainly was not the main reason for PSG to let Neymar go. If PSG is lacking anything, money is not one of those things as can be seen with Mbappe. But the problem is his long history of injuries and this time it was an injury that is hard to predict regarding the recovery time and whether he can go into the games with full effort again. I believe that Enrique prefers to have a team that he can rely on for longer than two weeks. I understand if that is the case because as a coach you don't want to anticipate every single game that Neymar could get injured and the plan B has to be ready all the time. One game you have him on the pitch and the next he can't and that isn't good for the team cohesion.

This is the problem. Keep in mind this is the second season of Arab clubs invading European players and the results are now visible even for this season there are already a lot of players who go there and with large salaries. It is possible that the next seasons will also be more dangerous than this especially as I said earlier where FFP regulations do not apply for now which will make this an advantage for Arab clubs as long as they have money then they can bring in quality players at high prices.

I know what you are talking about and I think that is what many officials from the UEFA are also concerned about. The Arab clubs have access to essentially unlimited resources and I am not sure if I got this right from what I found out, but I think everything these clubs do is also backed by the government. This is a new and powerful approach that the European football hasn't been confronted with before ever.

The strategy of the Arab clubs also has some tremendous side effects besides players leaving the European continent. They set new price levels and new expectations for higher wages for all players. Not only those who decide to go to an Arab club, but also those who stay in Europe but threaten to leave Europe in case their requirements are not met so to say. It is concerning, but as you said FFP won't do much because it doesn't apply to them.

I predicted earlier that Neymar would stay amidst the speculation over Mbappe future that has not found clarity so far. But the news from Fabrizio Romano could be coming true soon, Neymar will continue his football career in the SPL. I think for now no club is willing to bet on recruiting the Basil player, apart from the high price and salary, the factor of frequent injuries makes Neymar less interested.

Al Hilal came with a fantastic offer, PSG was saved in this transfer saga. At least they can cover some of their expenses when recruiting Neymar from Barcelona.
If it can come true for Neymar, I think PSG will not be so strong this season because PSG relied on the front line a lot last season, but for this season all the players on the front line that they once relied on have gone elsewhere. and coupled with rumors about Neymar and Mbappe who are unlikely to stay at PSG anymore, although I still hope Neymar and Mbappe will want to stay at PSG this season so that PSG will not be so overwhelmed when competing in the UCL.

The bond of PSG became weaken when they let go of Messi, and clearly, they are the cause of the collapsed. No way they will want to describe it, PSG is a club any players will be careful or even avoid in the near future especially the skilled players. They are manipulative with ways of playing the players using the phrase no player is bigger than the club but we all understand that they are doing that for public domain. Look at it, Messi, Neymar and Mbape are the main forward of that team squad and they frustrate the living out of them, two has left but very soon Mbape will face the same fate.

PSG has not seen any struggle, they just started and this season will make the beginning of it because when they had inclusion of Messi and Neymar, the team was conceding more goals in Champions League than there domestic leagues, now that they are not around, it will get even worse. They may have Ousmane Dembele but I think the dude is just doing what a dreamer is doing for his club country, will also leave sooner than later.

Neymar is officially joining Al-Hilal finally. I think he has taken the best path for himself now. Because he didn't have a good relationship with PSG lately and it was time to leave for Neymar. As he has been getting injured quite often he hasn't been a big use for PSG in the recent times either.

The Saudi Arabia league is like a show league so Neymar can just enjoy himself there. It is going to be a two-year deal as well and I don't think he would think of doing anything before his contract expires. Who knows maybe he would even retire after his contract ends.
We already heard too much issues between Neymar and PSG, they have no good relationship. Since there is an interesting offer from Al Hilal, PSG can sell Neymar with a good price. Both PSG and Neymar can end their bad relationship if Neymar goes to SPL. Neymar finally agreed with Al Hilal, too. Neymar is probably interested with a big salary offered by Al Hilal. Neymar also can have a chance to be popular again if he succeed with Al Hilal in SPL. So, I'm not surprised if Neymar decided to join Al Hilal.

Neymar is already 31 years old and he is getting often injured. Because of this matter, not many clubs want him and eager to offer big price. Many clubs don't want to spend money but Neymar mostly spends time on the bench. Al Hilal doesn't care about Neymar's injury, they may think Neymar can bring big impact whether he plays or sits on the bench only.  Smiley

these arabs never cease to amaze me, in this transfer window they made history, there were many signings that saudi arabia teams managed to make in this transfer window, now they have already managed to bring neymar, already have ronaldo, already have salio mane and many other good players who could still play in europe, that means they managed to bring players who would still have more years to retire, I believe that with many very popular players and with great talent, the saudi arabia league will have a lot of attention from the channels of tv and social networks, I see that the Arabs are being smart, they know that those players have millions of followers each player, so these players when they play in Saudi Arabia

they post their team and that brings popularity to the saudi arabia league and of course it also makes small teams that don't have money to make big signings will be left with no chance of winning anything and also won't gain attention, so the players those born in saudi arabia will be the ones who will suffer the most in the first years, but they will have to get used to it and make an effort to improve their performance, because they will be seeing how the best players in the world play.

Today I saw that Roma made two signings

Leandro Paredes will join AS Roma on €4m deal from PSG, it’s done

source: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv7flWLIZ-D/

and this:

Renato Sanches joins AS Roma on loan deal agreed with PSG today

source: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv7rywGIqox/

Roma don't have a strong squad capable of winning Serie A so I believe that this season they will be fighting to get a place in the European Champions League, they need to make the team more profitable so that they have more money to make big signings, every season they have made few signings that involve a significant amount of money and that doesn't make the team strong. if they were selling players for very high prices then they might be able to buy other good players, but rome hasn't been that lucky

Breaking news:
Kylian Mbappe has opened the door to extension.
According to French media, Kylian Mbappe has now agreed to extend his contract at PSG. The French international star Kylian Mbappe has changed his mind about a contract extension due to the upcoming departure of Neymar. Kylian Mbappe's contract will expire in 2024, but he has refused to extend it and is trying to move towards Real Madrid. But now he has changed his mind and wants to stay at PSG. On the other hand, PSG has signed 26-year-old Osman Dembele for €50 million from Barcelona. So maybe these were the two reasons that changed Kylian Mbappe's mind about staying in Paris.
If the reason he is changing his mind is because Neymar is leaving the club then I consider that to be a selfish reason in my opinion. It should be about team work and improving the squad not about wanting a group of players to leave the club so you can get to shine. News going around suggests Mbappe had secret agreement with Real Madrid to sign for them at the end if his current contract, I am now confused what Mbappe really wants from PSG if all he wanted is a better contract or improvement.

News about David De Gea being eyed by Bayern Munich.

Munich's consideration for De Gea but it is windowed by the salary he wants, I don't know how much De Gea demands Munich for a salary that Munich clearly doesn't want a bigger salary for him.
Arab clubs also want him but Munich want a decision this week, is De Gea's chance at Munich greater or going to Arabia?

Sevilla goalkeeper Bounou is on Munich's list, as Sevilla want 20M Munich say that is expensive, so there may be more negotiations, between the two of them.

He should have at least moved to Arabs when they wanted him . Munich is a big club so they need nothing other than getting the place player. Sevilla Bonu has done well but he deserves another big clubs.

De Gea is a very good goalkeeper and he has been consistent for so many seasons. He is one of the best goalies when it comes to one on one or unexpected saves. But lately, as he is aging and also as it was rumoured that he has eye related problems. I know his value will reduce, compared to his age. David can save an unexpected goals for you, but flop on the easiest one.

The above is not all, his inability to use his legs is a very big problem because he doesn't help the defence. He is among the characters that made Maguire look so bad. His replacement is a good choice for United.

Neymar is officially joining Al-Hilal finally. I think he has taken the best path for himself now. Because he didn't have a good relationship with PSG lately and it was time to leave for Neymar. As he has been getting injured quite often he hasn't been a big use for PSG in the recent times either.
Neymar is quite young to move to a less competitive league right now, but it is what it is! The relationship between PSG and Neymar broke down a long time ago, and the club have just been waiting for the best offer to sell him. I'm pretty sure Neymar wanted to stay in Europe, but it is difficult to find a team than can pay his salaries/wages, and also pay a good fee to PSG for signing him. The Saudi's have come with such wealth/money, and they make transfers like this look so easy, thus in the end PSG got a very good fee and neymar's salaries/wages is just absolutely ridiculous, so win-win for all parties, though i know Neymar wouldn't be completely happy, it wasn't supposed to end like this.

Klopp said about 5 years ago that if Liverpool buy a player for 100 million, he will quit. But if not for Chelsea, then Liverpool would have bought Caicedo right now. Times are changing, you have to admit it (by the way, Klopp admitted this when he was reminded of those words). Now the price of 100 million is not something special, it's the usual price for top transfers, even low (haha). And when we talk about top strikers, who are always the most expensive, plus they are now in ultra short supply, then such a price for the most productive striker in the Premier League is justified.

Kloop has changed his mind as football was always moving forward. He thought that if pogba's transfer was the non sense transfer. He has been confirming it if the price of players already increased a lot.

There is also an update from romano

Chelsea, working on Moisés Caicedo deal right now — understand final fee being discussed with Brighton is in excess of £110m 🔵🇪🇨 #CFC

Key hours ahead. Chelsea want Moisés at Stamford Bridge tomorrow — plan in their mind since last week.

Almost all of clubs want their players to be bought with maximum price. Kloop has been answering if it's just aware after some transfers by PSG happened. Even some clubs were pricing some top striker like almost 200 millions which is so crazy.

Even the dumb conservatives in the leadership of Bavaria were able to accept reality and buy Kane for a record amount of money. It would be strange if the much more flexible and intelligent Klopp did not change his mind and deny what has already become a reality. Thanks to the development of football as a business, inflation + the fact that the Saudis are boosting investments in their league, 200 million is still crazy money but quite realistically paid if we are talking about top transfers.

True. I didn't understand the way klopp was thinking before but hopefully he will always be realized if everything changes in the football. The competition has not ended yet liverpool goes to the lavia as an option to the caiced but chelsea is trying to take caicedo as well. Lavia is expected to join in chelsea very soon. Saudi is worsening the player transfer climate by encouraging clubs to raise their prices and make nonsensical transfers. It seems kloop needs to make fast movement as it was almost losing in lavia's fight as well.
Im very happy the transfer saga become even crazier than before.

Chelsea and Southampton, in contact to close Romeo Lavia deal. £50m fee now discussed plus add-ons, Chelsea want to announce Lavia as new signing this week 🔵🇧🇪 #CFC

Personal terms agreed, deal could be done on Tuesday if talks proceed well.

Another good news for whole of chelsea fans. Chelsea is expecting to announce him this week. This matter a lot for the club.

Neymar is 31 years of age and he's seen that he's not going to get a good playing time at PSG and with his injury spells i don't top clubs at the moment would be in demand for an injury prone player at 31, so i think he made the right decision to play where he'll be welcomed by both teammates and fans and would even earn double of what he's earning at PSG, well it's win win for both parties cause they'll get a huge fee of €90m for him while he'll also earn a huge salary from Al-Hilal.

Neymar is not the only player to had recently joined Al-Hilal, the ivorian midfielder frank kessi also joined Al-Hilal some days though for a lesser fee of about €12.5, he's relocated to his new club and was also featured in a match against Al‐Hazm that ended in a 3-1 victory and frank kessi scored a goal in the 89th min of the match.

To be honest, Neymar had practically no options for continuing his European career, given the financial needs of the football player himself and his injury. Although there were rumors about Barcelona and Neymar seemed to be ready for a salary reduction for this, but here, in theory, the position of Xavi played a role, who did not want to destroy the prevailing microclimate in the team due to the arrival of a capricious star. Therefore, for me personally, two options were dominant. One option is in the MLS to Messi, and the other to Saudi Arabia. Neymar chose the option where there is more money for himself and for PSG.

Joining the ranks of other Brazilian talented player's who ended their wonderful football game at the peakmof their careers. Neymar already has no good relationship with the fanbase. They want him gone and now he finally found a club to pay of whatever fee he wants.
No European club in Europe would want to spend that even buying and paying such fees for a player who can't play half a season for his club.
At club level he has everything so he is good to make history elsewhere. If he can be part of the next World Cup and finally add that to his profile it will be great.

For the fans to be happy for the change, they have to be part of the change. So since they're not part of Harry Kane's change and upgrade they'll all be disappointed. He's given enough back to the club. A passionate player who really has got the club at heart. As a top notch player, he really needs silverwares to beautify his profile.

Debut Lost? At times, a step backwards is a step forward, so they should focus on what's ahead ( The bigger price )
You are right and to be a part of these changes every fan must receive the departure of Harry Kane to pursue his dream of achieving success with another club. Surviving with Tottenham at the age of 30 years will not help his career and will actually make him lose the opportunity to win several trophies with other clubs. This is a justice for every player who comes and goes to a football club, so it becomes an impossible thing to prevent when the player wants to leave.

No problem his first debut loses and it is still the first step for Harry Kane and we will wait for contributions to other matches. A little patient will bring the player to be better and may take a little time to adapt to the team, so that he can play collectively with his new colleagues in Bayern Munich.

De Gea is a good player but I am surprised that he has nkt been signed by a big club since he moved on
He lacks some qualities which has made him totally different ans difficult firckubs to sign him.
He should have at least moved to Arabs when they wanted him . Munich is a big club so they need nothing other than getting the place player. Sevilla Bonu has done well but he deserves another big clubs.
I hope De Gea doesn't put too many demands on Bayern. Because in my opinion, if De Gea could enter a Big club like Bayern, that would be a pretty good thing. Considering the current age of De Gea who is getting older. Even a few days ago I heard that Real Madrid was also rumored to be eyeing De Gea. But unfortunately the Real Madrid coach doesn't seem to agree and doesn't want De Gea even though he is on a free transfer. I think if De Gea can play at Bayern it will be good even for his career. Because Bayern is a big club. Plus Bayern currently has Kane who will be a great striker on the front lines. And I feel that in the next Champions League Bayern will be even better than last season.

I heard rumors circulating about Neymar's departure from PSG since last month and PSG no longer want to keep Neymar indeed because of the injury he experienced so it was not possible for Neymar to be able to play competitively for PSG of course PSG felt that this would be detrimental to the club, but the truth is What happens is that Neymar is still one of the best players and he even has very good ball processing skills which can provide opportunities or assist goals for the club he defends.
Regarding PSG fans who don't really like Neymar, it became a topic of conversation and from here Neymar also felt that he was considered a useless player, I think this move can make Neymar prove that he is not as bad as fans think or talk about PSG and the management.
Maybe PSG can benefit from Neymar's transfer to Al Hilal, it's just that PSG can experience a decrease in playing performance because their attacking line players start leaving one by one.

Now the Saudi League is inhabited by several top European players and even though they have to spend more money on players from Europe, at least there is a positive side or big benefits that they can get.

It's still a good option, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are two big clubs in Champions League. But the problem, is Bayern Munich can accept to replace Neuer with De Gea in case Neuer is fully recovered from the injury? This will be a competition between both of them.

I believe De Gea will not demand about high wage instead he will demand about minutes to play because most of competitive player don't want to stay in bench.

Real Madrid prefers a younger goalkeeper and it is still on loan from Chelsea, but I am pretty sure Kepa Arrizabalaga will get a permanent contract at Real Madrid someday because his performances at his old club were quite good and the uncertainty of Thibaut Courtois' recovery will make Real Madrid needs a main goalkeeper, Kepa will longer in Real Madrid.
If David de Gea still wants to have a career in the European leagues, he should not set a high salary because his status without a club will make it difficult for him to get an elite club and do what the players ask for, and if DeGea's target is money then he only needs to accept offers from the club. Arab because only Arab clubs are willing to give higher salaries than elite clubs in Europe.

Bayern Munich is looking for a goalkeeper to replace Manuel Neuer after the German suffered a serious injury that will have a significant influence on the side of the defense. The Bavarians included two goalkeepers on their radar, with the board keeping a close check on them for the purpose to get things right this time, pushing to sign good goalkeepers like Manuel Neuer. David de Gea and David Raya are both on the pending lists; it will be interesting to watch who takes the places before the transfer window ends. Perhaps David de Gea is the favorite because Arsenal is attempting to recruit David Raya from Brentford, although the bid has yet to be confirmed.
