1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: March 28, 2021, 09:56:01 PM
Put simply, more internet usage vplume dorected towards gambling and monet-related activities also draw-in hackers and fraudsters hoping to pull a fast one on one of us and basically fool us out of our money. If there is a more important period to be more vigilant and wary of your transactions over the Internet, this is now. Rule of thumb. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, so move on and find a more suitable alternative.
1162  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: March 27, 2021, 11:10:43 PM
It will come to be one way or another, we're just unfortunate that it had to be forced upon us through a life-threatening disease. This could either impede the progress of the Digital Age or even spearhead it, and that will lie solely in this people's generation. We're going to be the defining factor of whether the next few decades are to be spent with bashing rocks and rubbing two sticks to create fire, or flying Porsche 959s.
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs on Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2021, 11:08:00 PM
NFTs being carried over or implemented into Bitcoin would actually seem like a great idea, regardless of what other people may say, be it their outcries due to high transactions fees or whatnot. Diversifying NFTs will offer and enable it to reach more people, which will then help it be implemented in more projects, perhaps even outside the world of cryptocurrency.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 10:58:19 PM
Compared to the past situation of the 9-5 man, the coronavirus pandemic introducing different working modalities offered more humane work life for us salarymen. I believe this is a good step towards a much more ethical working society. It offers more benefits to the employee with little to no drawbacks on the employer's end, which is really good.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 27, 2021, 10:34:18 PM
I've started gambling ever since I was 11. Carnival games where you're given the promise of a new toy or more money for your penny, I believe this is what kickstarts gambling in our early ages. I've tried hard gambling when I was already 21, which allowed me to make sound decisions in my gambling path. Personally I would suggest an older age bracket, probably around 30-40 as it is at least guaranteed that you have money to burn, unlike on your teen years where you literally would need to gamble with and for your allowance.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NFT bring any change in crypto gambling industry? on: March 26, 2021, 09:39:31 PM
In my opinion NFTs will not bring any big change in crypto gambling, because it is just a big hype right now. Nothing more. Most people invest, no, let's say speculate with NFTs just for one reason: They want to make money. The art market on the other hand is there because people want to show what they have. This is very problematic with NFTs because you have firstly to open your wallet...
NFT can be implemented as special prizes, if not jackpots to some games that require some stroke of luck. It can also be implemented as milestone rewards in certain sites for patronizing their specific platform instead of others. The world is your oyster when it comes to NFT, so to say that it doesn't show huge potential is like saying that a guy working diligently can't make it in life.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "What happens if bitcoin succeeds?" on: March 26, 2021, 09:14:09 PM
If the current system of hierarchy persists, then of course bitcoin could cause a greater divide between the rich and the poor, and us middleclassmen will be the ones who will be impacted most from this. Now, Bitcoin offers profitability regardless of how much you put in the system. Thus, this puts the rich and the poor on equal footing with respect to the chances in profits, Hopefully this is sufficient in whittling the current rich and poor people scenario most of us face right now.
If you think about it, the wealth would be not be distributed to poor but would be redistributed from those who hold stocks, real estate and fiat to those who hold lots of bitcoin. In essence nothing would change for average man but the FIAT rich would suffer the most.
A wise analysis, especially when we take into consideration the fact that bitcoin is independent to the fiat side of things. Still, we can't really expect the poorest of the poor to be able to invest in bitcoin, if only there is a subsidy program they can take in order to be able to taste the profits in bitcoin as well.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Miners Hodling Rates Increases. on: March 26, 2021, 06:19:46 AM
Bitcoins became more precious more than ever. And with that the demand for it grew even greatwr as well. It is just logical that these guys won't sell immediately because thwy are well aware of what bitcoin can do, and as such will make sure that they have ample holdings before even selling one. This is both good and bad for bitcoin, because as scarcity increases, bitcoin's price will increase even more. But if bitcoin aren't circulated in the market, then we can't expect it to become globally adopted, and in the end to be a currency of the future.
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Protecting Human Rights Around the World on: March 26, 2021, 06:03:46 AM
Never knew bitcoin can be Ghandi lol. Kiddings aside, sometimes us supporters have to pipe down our love and enthusiasm for the coin as we come out as lunatics and cringey redditors at times. First and foremost, people who use bitcoin probably have little to none of their rights violated prior tp their investment, so I do not see how bitcoin eatablishes rights or protects them like how you put it to be.
1170  Economy / Economics / Re: Does myanmar illustrate bitcoin's next evolution on: March 25, 2021, 10:19:10 PM
In before these phones still needs a carrir signal to carry out communicative operations, so regardless if the satellite is the best sat we have in existence, if they government imposes a ban on the carrier, there's not going to be much room to play with. Or perhaps we have forgotten to consider the fact that due to wildlife and environmental preservation, we would need to leave some sites untouched to preserve their cultural and wildlife value. So that is already a big L.
500 USD for a satellite phone seems a lot for the poor people, who are living in an underdeveloped country like Myanmar.Maybe a few people will get such phones, but I'm not sure that they will be using the phones to start trading cryptocurrencies.
The idea of Bitcoin blockchain "adopting" satellite internet seems interesting, but I think that the conventional internet providers are going their job pretty well and there aren't any interruptions of the internet speed and connection.I live in a country, where the internet speed and connection is really great,so I can't tell anything about the quality of internet in other countries.
Myanmar isn't that underdeveloped lol, if you wanna say underdeveloped talk about Philippines or something.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: March 25, 2021, 10:15:03 PM
So this goes for any game I bet in right? If that's so then I would like to place my blacklist on perhaps... CLG's League of Legends team. They are a bunch of chokers and compared to the giants of NA, they are nothing but boogers. They had a fairly equal chance at becoming great when they had Doublelift in the team and it could've stayed that way if it weren't for the weak-minds that thought it's much better to drop him off.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 25, 2021, 10:11:19 PM
On one hand this could definitely pass as a scam, on the other it could be just one marketing tactic that works well. I do not know exactly how many gambling sites and casinos do this trick, but this is fairly common in auctions and events like that. Now it is up to the player whether they awill let their basic instincts overtake their critical judgement and let themselves get finessed by these sites, but personally, I do not indulge myself in leaderboard contests as I am not a high-roller myself.
1173  Economy / Economics / Re: America stimulus support add strength to the dollar as investment increase on: March 24, 2021, 11:09:18 AM
Circulation is being made thru printing money of high value like the dollar. Though sadly this tactic will only work for short term and would end horribly in the long run as it causes hyperinflation and further depreciation of the currency's value. So I'm not seeing this green moment as a sign of the times but the calm before a horrible storm. Let us see how the US government works on to comabt this in the next few months of 2021.
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you explain NFT to a 5 years old child? on: March 24, 2021, 11:06:17 AM
Personally, I'd let him draw something on a piece of paper, probably his favorite cartoon character, or whatever really. And then I'll let him take a picture of it, and ask people how much will they pay for the pic itself. Most kids right now, learn more through experience rather than verbal or visual materials. So to actually be hands-on teaching them the basics of how NFT works is sufficient enough. This could even be their gateway into art, coz as we all know money is the main driving force that inspires this world to spin.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 24, 2021, 08:39:38 AM
With the caution that you'll save sime of your investment and or buy back, of course. Otherwise you'll be tremendously missing out on important stuff like this. You witnessed first hand how awesome this coin is and you also get to reap the benefits, there's no point to stopping now, a wise investor is someone who saves more and spends less.
no selling. I can get the meaning of your selling bitcoin and then buy it back. what's that for? make some contribution to gas fee? HODL and I promise that you won't regret for it!
any altcoin won't defeat bitcoin.
Dude, you can't just tell him to not sell his hodling lol. If he wants to spend it on something let him do it. Long as he's buying back, there's no point in us prohibiting him to sell his earnings.
1176  Economy / Economics / Re: Over the Past 300 Years, No Fiat Money Has Escaped Going to 0 on: March 23, 2021, 04:11:04 AM
It eventually will. And I believe debt and saving is the main issue why such eventuality come to happen. It's not all sad though, especially now that we have bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, which can very well act as the currency of the future. So it's not like we are left with no choice here. But I digress, we should all get our balls ready for this happening, it's slowly coming to reality, and it's just going to be a matter of time until such event happens.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is trash on: March 23, 2021, 04:05:59 AM
Dude, you have issues with your government, not bitcoin. ID and banking is partly and wholly controlled by the government irrespectively, and to blame the shortcomings it underlies to bitcoin as if it wasn't made to combat these is just sad. Also, you make it look like bitcoin did you dirty when it comes to earning. It is established from the start that bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme, although that is what it does for the most part. To say that you will be rich with bitcoin is just funny.
1178  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Prices Are Soaring Faster Than Inflation and Incomes on: March 22, 2021, 11:05:35 PM
I think thus, doesn't just go with foods and is actually evident in all types of goods that uses materials that require labor. And with the ongoing printing, we can only see this becoming worse and worse for the people. If you do not own bitcoin, you're going to have a big problem once tge USD drops in value.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The largest companies use blockchain technology on: March 22, 2021, 11:03:00 PM
Blockchain holds a great promise of banking and financial technology innovation, that's why more and more companies gravitate towards the production of blockchain related technolgy and features. With the rate it's moving, blockchain would easily be adopted by the whole world and may actually be integrated to more than just regular money related businesses.
This just happened and in the future it's gonna happen more, modernly, blockchain technology is the latest technology that's been used in wide companies like that of medical sector, agricultural sector and many others. The list are simply short and doesn't or can't contain the total list where blockchain technology had been implemented.
Blockchain will truly rule this planet, or at least would pave the way for a better form of techbology that will then be destined to rule the world. Hopefully thohgh we're still alive to witness this greatness.
1180  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I know who satoshi really is Am I Crazy? He He.... on: March 22, 2021, 10:32:26 PM
Laughable but not impossible. Not enough to call you crazy but enough to label you as a doof in this forum. Nevertheless, as I have said earlier. It will be highly improbable, but there is still that teeny weeny chance that it just might be true. Information laid in front of useads to the conclusion that Steve Jobs is not in any way related to the bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto. Though this could turn around anytime.
