1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Pulls Out of Puerto Rico; Huge Opening for Bitcoin on: September 08, 2015, 10:52:39 PM
although this creates an opening for bitcoin to come in. i dont think that'll happen, i can imagine btc is hard to trade in Puerto Rico.
1163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SIMPLE Earning BTC method for Noobs on: September 08, 2015, 09:00:26 PM

Mining
mine some coins at minergate.com, you can mine with any computer. mine BCN, or XMR

Can someone explain me hows does that works? I dont get it at all, you can actually mine online without a miner or what?
you can mine btc with your normal GPU, but its slow as shit. you won't get enough to pay for the electricity you run. but i believe mine other altcoins isnt that bad
1164  Economy / Speculation / Re: quiet before the storm. $18000 coming! on: September 08, 2015, 08:27:31 PM
i feel like $18000 is wayyy to high of a number for btc right now. its prolly gonna hit around 300 by the end of the year imo.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress test.. What's going to happen? on: September 08, 2015, 08:06:35 PM
i think people are going to start sending less and less transactions,or send with high fees. I'd feel pretty bad if a transaction i sent got stuck in the blockchain.  Cry
1166  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 08, 2015, 01:05:10 AM
if i could buy my everyday coffee with bitcoin, that would an amazing day. although this would be kinda risky for the store, cuz of the confirmation times and such.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Issue with bitaddress.org 20BTC reward for assistance on: September 07, 2015, 11:28:55 PM
I'm just thinking to myself, if you're willing to spend $4800 just to recover the address you created. you must've dumped some real money on that address.
rip lost bitcoin, btw you mind telling us how much you lost?
1168  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk loading slow? on: September 07, 2015, 10:59:34 PM
anyone having problem opening the Forum today ?
its very slow from my side

I got 502 Bad Gateway some time ago.
same,i also had that error twice today, it sticks around for like 5minutes then it starts working normally.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Issue with bitaddress.org 20BTC reward for assistance on: September 07, 2015, 10:39:57 PM
holy shit, that sucks. Im sorry to say this but there's a 100% chance your bitcoins are gone. bitaddress is an open source site. they DO NOT store any information. the only possibilities would be if you copied it, there are some tools online that can recover what you copied to clipboard. but other than that bitaddress keeps no records of anything.  Cry Cry
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: September 07, 2015, 09:42:10 PM
I've only lost like 0.02 when i was trying to send money to my friend. no clue what address i sent it to.  Sad
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 07, 2015, 08:13:33 PM
surely bitcoin won't last forever, but itll certainely last another ~100years or so. bitcoin is life
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 07, 2015, 05:23:40 PM
I would choose bitcoin over gold because its alot easier to use ,if you need to pay someone online, sending gold isn't feasible but bitcoin is made for that kind of thing. If you're looking to invest long term then either is a good choice. but for trading and such i definitely recommend bitcoin.  Grin
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gavin is so desperate about his fork? Is he hiding something? on: September 07, 2015, 05:17:18 PM
how is he desperate, i saw some interviews on youtube and he actually looks and sounds like a genuine guy who really cares about bitcoin.

How does Hilary/Obama/any other creepy "benevolant dictators" looks like when on Tv? Do you also get the sense that they "genuinly" care about the people?
ya, but all Gavin is trying to do is fix the limit and not let the concept of bitcoin be destroyed. It's not like hes doing it for power, every future decision made for bitcoin doesn't need his approval.
Gavin or not, all i want is >1mb limits.

why? where does this urge comes from? how is bitcoin "broken"?
how do you qualify to express your opinion regarding something that is economically complex and crucially technical?

plz dont tell me the first time you ever heard of this ting is from gavin last year... because its been investigated and monitored since at least 3 years.
ill admit im pretty new to this debate, but doesnt the 7 transactions limit per second worry you?
1174  Economy / Exchanges / Re: scamming on: September 07, 2015, 05:09:29 PM
Firstly, I've never heard anything scam related about xapo. they seem fine, ive used em for more than a year.
and since when do you need to be id verified to send/receive money on there. all i had to do was phone verifcation.

1176  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: September 07, 2015, 04:55:47 PM
is there anything they are doing to fix this hyperinflation. i have no idea how they're going to get out of this mess.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Reward free bitcoin [Altcoins transfer button on the forum] on: September 07, 2015, 04:23:39 PM
i signed up and the site seems ok ,but it needs alot more people there are barely any posts to look through. I think ill come back when its gets more viewers and starts building alot of discussions.
it feels like the site is too focused with the "features", but there isnt much to do there.

1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much transactions fees? on: September 07, 2015, 02:55:16 PM
I've made a couple of transactions in the past week with 10bits (0.00001BTC), and it takes around 2-3 hours if you do 0.0001 then itll take around 30min.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #Blocksize Survey on: September 06, 2015, 11:32:38 PM
hey, i dont really follow the bitcoin background updates. i just wanted to know if theres a proposal that supports no change (the limit staying at 1mb). and is that proposal popular. i don't support the " no changers",just wanted to know if theres a chance that they will prevail, cuz imo thats pretty bad for bitcoin.

BIP000: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3jhwi3/i_support_

and chances are it will prevail.. at least for the next coupla years. Wink
if the blocksize stays at 1mb, people are either going to ditch the currency or end up paying huge fees like $2-10 to incentivize the miner to include the transaction.
idk about you,but to me its like begging to a person to please let my transaction go through. how is that appealing to anyone?
