1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 25, 2017, 08:49:33 PM
I would not agree with this being a good idea, especially with bitcoin in it's current state it just doesn't make sense.

We are moving towards a future where we will become entwined with technology, we have been doing so for a long time already for example a pacemaker has been around for a while, mechanical limbs also etc.

I did read somehwere about one guy that put a chip in his forearm and a quick google search shows that this is being taken seriously https://news.bitcoin.com/bio-implantable-bitcoin-growing-popular/

For me it is far too early in the game to consider this.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin that is next to Bitcoin... on: April 25, 2017, 08:38:48 PM
I agree, litecoin is best placed and has almost as much recognition as bitcoin, it is the sleeping giant and could really take off especially if it adds those things that bitcoin won't and they are successful.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TorCoin: a new possibility for anonymity on: April 25, 2017, 08:30:33 PM
This isn't anything new and has been a selling point for many coins but I suppose for a coin named tor it makes sense for them to add it.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: April 25, 2017, 11:19:27 AM
Is it true, Altcoins price can be manipulate?
I see so many peoples in any Ann thread of altcoins ask for pump and dump. I just don't understand, is this how cryptocurrencies works? While forex trading market move by good news or bad news in around the world.
If Dev or big holders can easy manipulate the price of some altcoins, I think it's not interesting anymore.
They can be manipulated for sure and you can see this happening every now and again, if you get in and out at the right time you can benefit but for a lot of people when they see a coin rising they may be fooled into investing and this is not good.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe consolidating itself as a Bitcoin Haven on: April 25, 2017, 11:03:11 AM
I think if more and more countries leave the EU it will be an exciting time for bitcoin and digital currencies, the UK has or at least has started the ball rolling, France possibly could be on it's way out and maybe Netherlands to follow but who knows.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 25, 2017, 09:03:46 AM
Maybe not the moon but possibly low Earth orbit.  Looks like it may be activated in the next few weeks and litecoin will be the coin of the moment for a bit.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit Confirms On Litecoin In 2 Weeks, LTC Could Hit $25 on: April 25, 2017, 08:32:49 AM
Why do you think adopting segwit = to the moon?
Mainly for the hype surrounding it I would imagine will increase the price as it usually always does in Crypto land, then after the hype if it does actually benefit litecoin then perhaps the price will increase.

I wouldn't say the moon though, not anytime soon perhaps up towards it's ATH but who knows.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Delisted From Poloniex are Not Dead and Kicking on: April 24, 2017, 08:57:21 PM
Exchanges delist coins on a regular basis, Bittrex uses low volume as it's trigger and Poloniex will have their own reasoning.

Solid coins shouldn't really be based on an exchange listing obviously it helps with visibility to be listed but if the coin is good it will live on.

If these coins are dropping in price due to the delisting it could be a good time to snap up some of those coins.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Putting All In on: April 24, 2017, 12:21:39 PM
Possibly XEM, might be worth you checking this coin out it has grown a lot over the last few months and "could" provide you with those returns in the next few months, just to make your job harder you now have three to choose from Smiley

Try not to go all in though on any singular coin, much better to spread your investment out among a few different coins.
1170  Economy / Services / Re: Selling Bitcointalk posts on: April 24, 2017, 11:34:05 AM
You might be better off joining one of the many signature campaigns on the forum once your rank increases, it might work out a bit less work also as you won't have to send your posts off for the okay.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Mike Novogratz says he has 10% of his money in Bitcoin and Ether on: April 24, 2017, 11:31:07 AM
Not surprised that himself and probably a lot of wealthy people are looking at digital currencies, sounds like he made a killing on ETH.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before you begin trading read this! on: April 24, 2017, 08:57:48 AM
Definitely having multiple coins is the way to go, along the way it is almost certain that there will be a loss at some point but in this game the profit is usually not too far behind, you have to have a strong gut and just hang in there sometimes, if you believe in a coin and what it has going for it you will experience a lot of ups and downs along the way.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you bet on HORSE RACING? on: April 24, 2017, 06:33:55 AM
There.are not too many bitcoin horse racing sites about, the ones that do have already been listed.

Fiat wise I like Bet365 as I find the GUI easiest, there's not much difference between the online bookies I don't hink beyond he occasional offer.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opinion about my holdings. on: April 21, 2017, 09:24:24 AM
Nice group of coins there, I got rid of my NEM a bit too early but thinking I might get back in it might be worth you checking out.

WBB is a bit of a longshot but I am holding this for a long time, not much info on bitcointalk they prefer Slack and once they release their new platform if it works as outlined it could be big but this is a gamble.
1175  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoGrabber - A physical arcade claw machine converted to accept Bitcoin on: April 20, 2017, 08:58:51 AM
This is great and just a glimpse into the future where arcade machines will have bitcoin as a payment option so we no longer have to carry around tons of change.
1176  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-19] OKCoin Bitcoin Exchange Has Suspended Fiat Deposits on: April 19, 2017, 07:54:43 PM
Seems like the majority of banks are taking the same route, bitcoin I suppose is or could be a major contender if it becomes massively adopted.

Until that happens bitcoin users still need banks if they want to cash out so I guess the banks will take advantage of this.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: April 19, 2017, 07:47:53 PM
That is the question, really leaving when you have made a nice profit would be the best time.  Many people and my self included think that you could win more and then end up losing everything, I think that is the addiction kicking in.

I know some people that are happy with just making any kind of profit and they will happily stop.
1178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card, NOT provided by Wave Crest Holdings Ltd. (MyChoice) on: April 19, 2017, 05:39:25 PM
Is there a reason why you are not interested in Mychoice cards? I am curious as the majority of the cards are issued by them.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is YoBit.net provably fair ? on: April 17, 2017, 12:42:17 PM
I really wouldn't use Yobit as a dice site, there are much better fair and trusted sites for that.  They probably get a lot of users using their faucets to get free dead coins and then gambling on the dice game.
1180  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST ANDROID BITCOIN WALLET ? on: April 16, 2017, 11:31:19 PM
I just recently moved back to android and Mycellium seems to be quite secure with a ton of features.
