1161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nice try by Kyle1836 [ alt of Alex1212 ] on: June 24, 2015, 03:50:49 PM
Short and quick , i did message Kyle1836 to buy some paypal funds from him, his reply was how much i need since now he have more funds  Grin

He asked me to sign a message that i own the bitcoins but honestly i am not sure if i can do that on PD !?

Anyway he did a misstake and replied me from Alex1212 and asked for escrow , but i NEVER send a message to this user ^^

Nice try Cheesy

Kyle1836 already has a feedback by Tomatocage pointing out he's a shill of Alex1212: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=442454
This just confirms it, you shouldn't even try to deal with him to start with, even less so with PayPal!
1162  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: feryjhie Loan Defaulter on: June 24, 2015, 02:38:17 PM
feryjhie defaulted a loan given to him by aahzmundus.

Loan Thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085658.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085658.msg11576496#msg11576496

Scammer's Profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=329895

He needs to pay 0.05 + 20% interest = 0.06 BTC

The loan thread is locked, the loan is due on june 16 and the lender was last online june 16, the thread was locked on june 10. It is still possible that feryjhie is trying to contact the lender about the loan. Better if you could send him a pm and remind him about the loan

I see the posted repayment address has no TX: 1BQX9omgBkAXoL9sdvhrxxoC6FExy5psLq
I've left a negative feedback for the moment and I've PM'd feryjhie asking him to post here with details. I'll update/remove my feedback if required.

1165  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: June 23, 2015, 04:30:02 PM
Being able to show a second receiving address isnt the big deal - but managing those addresses is. Not because we do not scan ahead, we do that anyway. But how should we know which addresses have been given out to users? You would want to label addresses for expected payments, and be able to mark them as "free" again maybe etc. Maybe showing next five receiving addresses would be okay for some people, but it will be another button potentially confusing people, and then you lose your notes saying which address you gave to whom, and dont know where you should receive next. I am not sure how to implement this best - and between all the nice tasks, have not found time to really think it through.

If someone wants to help, draft a proposal describing how it should be done, and put it up for discussion. If its unproblematic from a usability point of view, I do not see a reason to not implement it.

One option could be:
  • On Accounts, user touches the HD Account and on menu there's an option 'Show (unused) addresses'. The list of 5 or 20 addresses is shown.
  • User can select an address to copy, share or go to the 'Receiving' screen (where the QR code is shown) with that specific address. They can also hold it and edit its label. To mark the address as free the user can just update the label to blank/null.
  • Internally the app would have a SQLite table to store those labels.
  • Of course when restoring the wallet from the seed there would be no way to restore the labels. To solve this there can be an option to export labels as json/xml with its correspondent import option. It would use a simple format which just lists the addresses along with the labels.
  • There can be an option to store labels on the cloud. While no keys/seeds would be uploaded there could be some privacy issues so this could be off by default.

Let me know if I misunderstood the problem or there are issues on my proposal.

1167  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: i got a app to compress images in adroid like 25% the size but cant put into BTC on: June 23, 2015, 01:55:10 AM
well the app its being made and legalized into android but that app its only sellable into the shop of apps and that does not gives btc
is ther a pratical way to buy app into android from BTC?

I'm not sure I understand you. Do you want to publish your app on Google Play and allow users to buy it with bitcoin? Unfortunately it's not allowed to use any payment method other than Google's:
https://play.google.com/about/developer-content-policy.html
Quote
Developers charging for apps and downloads from Google Play must do so by using Google Play's payment system
https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2651410?hl=en

If you try to accept bitcoin payments most probably your app will be removed from Google Play. You'd need to distribute your app via other channels. For example you can offer the APK file here and sell codes (with BTC) to unlock it. There are some ways but not through Google Play at the moment. I hope they will include that payment method in the future.
1168  Economy / Lending / Re: Three Day Loan of 0.21886513 with collateral. on: June 23, 2015, 01:33:34 AM
jay12, it has been established that your EXMO account is not a valid collateral. Now read this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0
Especially "If you completely ignore this sticky and make a loan request with no [valid] collateral, without having massive trust on the forum, the chances of you getting negative trusted feedback and therefore having a Trade with Extreme Caution tag is almost 100%." and what is considered valid collateral.

If you can't offer any valid collateral I strongly suggest you to lock this thread and move it to Archival, otherwise all you'll get is negative feedback.
1169  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell Bitcoin for PayPal - www.SellBitcoin.us on: June 22, 2015, 07:33:50 PM
SellBitcoin.us is fully automated exchange service and available 24/7/365.
We provides instant conversion to and from Bitcoin and other popular e-currencies.
Sell Bitcoin for PayPal - Friendly support available 24 hours online.
www.SellBitcoin.us is the one thing missing from the cryptocurrency world
 - easy, fast and secure exchanges of the most popular cryptocurrencies.

Your site says "SellBitcoin.us (SellBitcoin.us Ltd.) is a company made by Mike Maples,Jr." along with a picture. You mean Mike Maples as in @m2jr, right?
I really doubt a site so unprofessional and without SSL was created by him. Please post a link to your site from the account @m2jr. Until you do that your site must be considered a scam.

Even if the site were legit, you need to gain some trust first. Nobody will/should send first to a new site, there's no guarantee they will receive anything in return. Always use escrow.

this one still have neutral trust. Vod actually tagged him but he's no longer on default trust
and you're on depth 2, OP. why don't you leave some feedback?

Vod is still on default trust (under dooglus) and OP is not on depth 2 (he's on depth 4). You're seeing a different (non-default) trust list because you have Quickseller on your list.
Both bobolini and jinjuro are now red when using default trust.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pharma [XPH] | Scrypt | Masternodes | Real team | Online store on: June 22, 2015, 03:26:36 PM
Good evening, community. We didn't say that our pharmaceutical company calls Pharma store. Pharma-store project was created exactly for crypto-society. We don't want this experiment to interfere our existing offline business. SkyValeey spent a lot of efforts to blackmail us and spends a lot of efforts now to avenge for the fact we didn't make a deal. As soon as we fix all the legal questions and open the store, you will see all our documents and we will reveal the offline business behind us.

Any update on this? If the claimed company is not "Pharma Store" then what is it? While SkyValeey was blackmailing and thus deserves a negative feedback it doesn't mean what he said is not true. Pharma please post the company documents. I've left a neutral feedback meanwhile.

1174  Other / Meta / Re: should luke-jr be on Default Trust? on: June 21, 2015, 04:29:46 PM
P.S. You will note anderl and danielpbarron have also given me subjectively-bogus negative ratings, but since they did not lie, they do not have distrust from me for that reason alone.

It seems to me an important reason for you not to give them negative trust is because they're not trusted and therefore they don't affect your own trust. The 2 users you did give negative trust are very trusted otherwise. If you hadn't given them negative trust to them you'd have negative trust given by people with dark green trust and thay would definitely affect you.

Of course maybe I'm wrong but I find it hard believing that you accept "He cant think logically" isn't a lie while you insist "Tried to censor the Bitcoin network" is.
1175  Other / Meta / Re: should luke-jr be on Default Trust? on: June 21, 2015, 03:47:57 PM
If a person is a liar, it makes them a scammer? That's just a rating left for personal issues and without any reference link as well. BipolarBob has proved to be a genuine user and has helped in donating money as well and how does he become a scammer just because he offers "too good to be true" deals. It's clearly abusing the trust system.

I think you could argue initially the feedback was arguably justified and I was always thinking I wouldn't be surprised if he did at some point scam, but I think after a certain while the feedback should have been removed or changed to neutral as doubts were removed.

So in other words he is still going to be on dt? I mean wasnt quickseller removed because he supposedly abused the system? Isnt this guy doing the exact same thing with almost 50% of his ratings?

Quickseller was removed from default trust because BadBear (and later Tomatocage) decided to remove him from their personal trust list, not because admins (although BadBear is an Admin he removed him as a personal decision, not as Admin) or someone else removed him, that's not how the system works. Luke-jr will be removed if theymos and dserrano5 decide to do so.
1176  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: June 21, 2015, 02:14:19 PM
You can't generate new addresses because the standard doesn't allow for that. The scan ahead is 20 addresses. We could probably add that feature, but would still have to restrict you to 20 addresses tops (and if you have 20 empty ones every few addresses, it will slow your balance synchronization down). One thing you can do is give someone an address, then create a transaction where you send some money to yourself, which would create a new address, and repeat this for as many addresses as you need. It would just cost you a transaction fee (pick Economic).

I think 20 addresses would be enough on most cases, I know it would be for me. I'd really like that feature. Anyway the self-sending trick could be used only if more than 20 addresses are required.

I use a different address per transaction and then I can prove the payment wasn't done yet if that specific address doesn't have any transaction. Sending funds to myself to that address could be a problem because the other party could argue they made that payment. I know I could sign from the originating address to disprove it but it wouldn't be comfortable to use this method as standard.

Is he taking your account as collateral, or is this going to be an unsecured loan? If it is the former then this would probably not be a horrible idea, however if it is the later, then this loan is likely going to be somewhat risky as it does not appear that onewiseguy has been trusted with this much money in the past.

Although to be fair, I do see that ecuamobi has traded with the OP in the past for larger amounts and the OP does have a number of apparent trades under his belt, although many of them are from untrusted people and many have been for small amounts.

It is the later. OP had the change to scam me 0.672 BTC on a previous deal and he didn't, he paid me as agreed. So I trust him for this amount.
