Guys, At this point, we think the community should be part of this decision making as this is a long term implementation.
Tipping going to users of the fame powered apps will come from a percentage of the block reward. this reward will be spread across all users with tips.
Example: if by the end of today, 100 FAME is generated and allocated for rewarding, this 100 FAME will be the total amount of FAME that can be tipped across all apps powered by FAME (regardless of the number of social apps running ontop of FAME) for the Next 24hrs. Tipping are just percentile based on the amount of FAME available for the day just so everyone get a share of FAME by the end of a 24hr window.
What percentage of the reward from mined blocks should be allocated for tipping daily? 10% 15% 20% 25% 30%
I have voted for 15% of the reward from mined blocks should be allocated for tipping daily. I know most will say 30% because its the most,but i am thinking of the developers as well and i think 15% would be fine. I think that 10% is better and easy to give. Besides tipping it have no meaning if its big. Its not tipping, its almost partnership...lol I'm voted for 10%, it will be good! |

2 Options here.
1- (most likely) Project has / is being abandoned.
2- Dev has been contacted by PnD group and told to stay quiet and make it look like the coin is dead, so they can buy more, when they have the bags, the dev will appear say how hard hes working and such, probably give some BS about how he will make a deal or something to pump the price (maybe the old Azure addition) and then it will get pumped, group who bought at 3k will unload at 15k then the coin will die.
I can't remember the last time you weren't negative about this project. Aren't you involved with this project? Do you have anything you can tell us? Thanks in advance. Our main dev is still working on the core features. The other dev had some issues with his internet, but I think they have been sorted out now and he can get back to doing what he does. We have multiple things on the go at the moment and as they become reality, they will be publicly announced. thanks for at least giving this thread some sort of answer will be keep on staking thats the best way while waiting for the dev to show up. good luck Main dev still active on slack, he said we work on another branch. ppl in this thread keep talking that dev active... but not here... more better for him be active in this thread! |

no it isnt. what i wanted to say is: Before any blackmarket will use cloakcoin, cloakcoin had to be opensource before for a while. i want to put the energie of the team into release of first pr. when this is done, we will pickup opensource topic. @hoertest i understand what you say. we are the only closed source anon coin and that is not a plus for us. blockchain is open source for all. its open card enough for all who can read it. the rest is trolling and nothing more.
for all who need tech explanation & want to be safe with security in code, they can read whitepaper and security audit made by serious auditor
no blockchain is not opensource, its a public database. so everyone can proof the output of cloak and maybe (i belief that) its enough to see, that transactions are not traceable. but thats only the half storie. I use only linux and opensource products, becouse i hate it running closed source on my loved linux envirement, i would never use chrome or something like that, for my private system. cloak is running in a vm in couse of that i only use closed source products at work. i also use pgp and many systems, they would never be used by there communities, if they wouldnt be opensource. There are 600 coins or more out there! if i decide to use a anon coin i would have a reason for that. and if i have the choice i would use the best opensource solution, not the closed one. how ever, i beg you all, let this topic sleep for 1 or 2 weeks. we will pick it up again after pr release ok? but if you want discuss. dont hestiate there are two dogmas here: Opensource and not opensource if every front blames the other front for trolling, this discussion will never be fertile. tell facts and answer facts and we will find the best solution. At least, i think everyone knows we have to opensource. the questions is more or less, "when?". If Cloak will be opensource - so be it. |
