Since overclock and TDP customization is mandatory to GPU rig owners, you should read and test by yourself, each algorithm acts different, since you can contrrol the power draw and affect directly the hashrate, your profit is directly affected by those settings, also diminishing the stress on the critical parts such as the VRMs (voltage regulators), you can prolongue a little the video cards lifetime.
Forget EVGA Precision X OC, as the collegue said, use MSI Afterburner and save your settings, they will be automatically applied on the next boot, there are 5 slots to save 5 different OC settings in this software.

It looks like it will be, with the already released Frontier version consuming almost 400W from the wall and staying bellow a 1080 nonTi, AMD just do not stop releasing crappy cards to the masses. |

Using the new Nicehash 2.0.0.7 Alpha miner here, excavator got a nice boost on Equihash algorithm, from 610-620 H/s in the previous version to 640-670 H/s on my GP-102-A card with 80% TDP.

No lançamento irá chegar um ou dois meses depois que no resto do mundo e absurdamente mais caro por causa dos distribuidores metendo e girando a faca.
Ou seja, uma boa espera até realmente chegar aqui no HU3 HU3 BR com preço correto.
Jamais compraria placas de video exclusivas para mineração, elas não tem nem video output....isso é um terreno perigoso, quando não tiver nada de útil pra se minerar em GPU, a placa é praticamente um ASIC, vai pra gaveta ou pro lixo, pq não há utilidade como placa gamer, acho muito arriscado isso, uma das vantagens de se minerar com GPU é que se o negócio encher o saco, vc vende as placas para o mercado gamer. Estas placas pra mineração deveriam ser, no mínimo, mais baratas, tendo em vista a falta de componentes como saídas de video e outros...falam da durabilidade das mesmas, que são mais duráveis, questiono e muito estas fabricantes, desenvolveriam um PCB totalmente novo ou aproveitariam um PCB já em produção e capariam o mesmo, somente fazendo alguns tweaks/ajustes de BIOS e marketiando para as mesmas? É muito questionável. |

I have a great deal to buy 10 - gtx 1080 at 539$ a piece brand new, another deal for 10 gtx 1070 at 459$ a piece.
I need some advice from people who own rigs of nvidia. Which one of these 2 would you buy and Does it worth to invest 5.5k in this deal ?

I would buy the 1070 cards, GDDR5 is better than GDDR5X memories for mining due to the low latency times. And I wouldn't face this as an investment, this is a hobby. |

Nada muito concreto ainda, alguns dizem ser relacionado ao ETH, ao FUD generalizado em torno da morte do dev cara de zumbi, outros expõe a falha ocorrida na exchange que permitiu que o ETH fosse vendido a centavos de dólar, enfim, vamos aguardar mais notícias.
Confesso que não estou muito por dentro, mas não sei se foi uma falha ou se o dump carregou consigo várias ordens "a mercado". Só acho estranho ter um carinha lá com a ordem de 10 centavos, lol. Quem é que seria tão clarividente de colocar uma ordem de compra enorme de ETH a 10 centavos quando já fazem ANOS que é negociado acima de 1 dólar, e especialmente agora acima de 300 dólares? Pode ser um daqueles casos de password perdido 2 anos atrás e o cara ficou com essa ordem lá até hoje, imagina... Essas low orders são muito comuns de existir nas exchanges virtuais, nas épocas de trade de altcoins, sempre havia aquele que colocava ordens mínimas (ex. buy order de 1.000.0000 da altcoin XXX por 0,0000001 satoshi cada), o que chamou a atenção foi essa falha absurda na exchange ter ocorrido, bizarro demais. |

Here's a little teaser of The Mighty HashWall : 3 columns 8 rows, 7 card each totalling 168 GPU's (160 in its current state as 8 are removed for repairs). 4.6MH/s on Ethereum, 4 blower fans and one exhaust, totaling at under 20KW for everything. It may get its own thread some day when its a clean organised setup.  Holy crap! Amazing! 500mh one single 1080ti? Why whattomine says 46 mh on 1080ti?
500 is correct i'm getting 515-520 with each of my Asus Strix. Idk.... are u sure 500? Because i get 18.6 mh on my 1060 and 23 on my rx 480 Too much difference Whattomine and nicehash profit calculation they both say 1080ti hashrate is 46mh 🤔🤔 Hmm, the calculators say its 470Mh/s or 0.47Gh/s Yes sorry my bad i was watching lbr2 or something Instead it is lbry my 1060 is 128mh Well 500 is a good profit i think is better than eth which u do about 37? Lbry is totally different than Lyra2Rev2. This algorithm is profitable right now, since the coin is 45% up in coinmarketcap. |

The PSU is an overkill. I doubt these GPUs can drain more than 600w under full load along with all the other components. But yeah you can always sell em later and invest the money you mined into 1070. 1070 is a monster for ZCash mining. ETH too, I've seen 32MH/s on a card on youtube, then your 1000w PSU wont be an overkill. All in all, I couldn't get the 6th GPU to load. At first my PC wouldn't start and I had to do various configuration in BIOS, disable and modify lots of options... If you can help me get the 6th GPU running you can. However I will be looking on a fix online for today, I was very busy yesterday getting the rig to run and got tierd. So my job for today is to get the 6th GPU to run, and see whats the max OC i can get with them. The items just got shipped today, will let you know when I assemble and configure the rig. Nice, please take a picture of the rig and post here to the btctalk community. Equihash is the best algorithm to load at those 1050tis, it's the current best mining option for nvidia cards. |

Mudei o endereço da carteira, criei uma carteira no site deles pra ver se paga menos taxas.. Mostra em tempo real. Sobre abrir 2 janelas.. A GPU5 não faz o benchmark da SIA nem fudendo, ai quando as 4 primeiras vão pra SIA, a 5 fica sozinha pegando outro algo  vi alguem comentando sobre colocar um adaptador VGa ou ligar um monitor na placa rebelde para que ela volte a funcionar... pode experimentar... Obrigado! Vou tentar! Paga menos taxas mesmo? O único problema é que vai ter que fazer a transfer pra sua hot wallet depois e por consequência vai ter que pagar um fee adicional, ou pode arriscar e deixar tudo na web wallet deles rs |

you paid nearly $1000USD for a 1080ti? that's pretty high. as for power use, set a realistic tdp of ~75% and each card should draw <200W, and the entire system ~1150W Those are damn high prices for the 1080Tis, OP should reconsider the store, even in my country those cards are cheapier than this. About the TDP, is a good move to reduce the wattage, since those cards are 250W (or more => custom cards) each at 100% power. |

Yes, its known as pool hopping and its generally discouraged by pools because it will affect the other miners and the pool owners.
Unfortunately, with the use of PPLNS and PPS systems in pools, these kind of attacks cannot work against the pools.
For the PPLNS system, the pool will reward the miners who mined the last n shares before the block. If you exit the pool early, you will not get anything.
For PPS system, the system pays you immediately, regardless of when it finds the block. This will also deter pool hopping.
Perfect answer. Those pool payouts systems (PPLNS and PPS) have been created years ago to prevent such "malicious"actions made by miners. |

Um dos maiores motivos para as pessoas migrarem para a ethereum nao foi por achar o projeto foda, foi mais porque acharam que era melhor que o bitcoin, que meio que estagnou ha algum tempo ate a proposta do segwit.
Nunca sequer tive um ETH, nunca acreditei nesta coin, sempre vi ETH e outras altcoins como esquemas de pump / dump, após anos ganhando e perdendo com muitas altcoins, aprendi que a única coisa que importa é ter e guardar Bitcoin na carteira. Quem conseguiu dumpar ETH a 400 dólares, parabéns, essa moeda só tem serventia pra isso, depois do fiasco do primeiro fork, agora a falha na exchange que, com certeza fez alguém chorar muito ou ter se matado, tudo indica que ETH vai corrigir o spiked price que estava. Tem alguma matéria que explique direito o que aconteceu? Em meio a tanto boato, eu nem fui muito atrás.
