1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 24, 2022, 11:46:42 PM
The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

If that way leads to abuse then it's just that the casinos will lock those involved accounts.

Everyone should just follow what is written on the faucet or bonus terms. If there's a discovered unusual method that can take advantage of getting more profits or bonuses, these users already violated the site terms.

Generally, that should be the case.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: October 24, 2022, 11:44:16 PM
In USD conversion, the guy bet about $690 and won about $169,000, but the gambling company refused to pay him, claiming that his record of the winning has been wiped off from their database as a result of a technical error.

I think this should not even be a discussion as the case is pretty clear and sided with the winner.

The reason is because of the company's poor system. The lottery is always associated with a betting slip regardless if it's online or physical. That's already good support for that winner to win the case.

Can you share the link to that news here so we can know more details?
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 24, 2022, 11:41:49 PM
I will not be surprised if he will be one of the candidates in best import of the conference.

He's already a candidate and I'm even sure he will be the one. He's the only import who has consistent stats every game and that was all decent stats. Almost all teams are now at halfway mark of their whole games. If Nick Rakocevic will maintain those stats, he will probably take that award this conference.

No wonder that just on his debut as an import for the Magnolia Hotshots, he is being considered that fast as a possible long-term franchise import for this team like the status of Justin Brownlee of Ginebra.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 24, 2022, 11:37:39 PM
Inoue wants all the belts under his name maybe before moving to another division and try if he can also dominate from that new class division.

After dominating the 118 lbs once he won against Paul Butler, there should be no problem for him with 122 lbs as the weight difference is not much. I think he can even match with those champions. I'm positive that another Asian will dominate again several multiple divisions this time because of Inoue. I hoped he will stay healthy all along.

The only problem is, he is not fighting outside his home country. He is always backed up by his people. He needs to get out of that comfort zone as in terms of strength, he really has that and no problem with it.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: October 24, 2022, 11:33:58 PM
As far as I know his medical condition last year in December was now being controlled and since this is super bantamweight, Casimero should also not have a problem with weight. If I'm not mistaken he was 10 lbs over the required weight during the supposed Butler match.

If ever he's still playing at that weight, burning around 5 lbs should not be a problem for him before the official weigh-in of this match. Casimero although inactive on the ring for some issues he faced, should not show any ring rust, especially on this opponent.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: October 24, 2022, 11:30:41 PM
Odds for this match:

Bivol, Dmitriy @ 1.21
Ramirez Sanchez, Gilberto @ 4.30

https://stake.com/sports/boxing/international/international-matchups/42951047-bivol-dmitriy-ramirez-sanchez-gilberto

Bivol is still the heavy favorite and what a huge gap difference against Zurdo Ramirez.

Betting options are still limited to Moneyline with less than 2 weeks left before the match.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 23, 2022, 11:36:45 PM
Your friend doesn't tell you everything. It's technically difficult to hack a wallet because of mnemonic problem.

It's on the user side I guess why that unusual activity happened to your friend.

And next time, try to use another reputable wallet and not the mentioned one by you as I didn't aware of it.
I have the same suspicions as well, it is easy to think that you are doing a good job and keeping your computer clean because you do not see anything wrong going on with your system, but if you really begin to try to find malware in your computer you will see that most computers today are infested with malware, and while some of that malware is not that dangerous there are other pieces of malware which are waiting to send out any important information they can collect out of you, and as such I think this is the main reason why the friend of OP lost his coins.

Another reason might be, OP's friend is a victim of phishing.

Likely ended up for let's say airdrop and asking to connect a wallet. But in the process, there's a prompt to enter the passphrase or mnemonics which should not be a step on connecting wallets as that should mostly do with the legit browser extension.

Anyways, OP didn't come back for another information that might help with the case.
1168  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 23, 2022, 11:34:12 PM
that we don't need to avoid top casino sites because they only implement KYC to avoid money laundering and other criminal activities that take advantage of gambling sites.

Part of the regulation. Also a part of being a legit casino.

Sometimes if a user got a problem with a gambling site that is not regulated, they are seeking help from the government authorities but how can these authorities even help that user if the casino is not regulated?

With casinos being regulated, real owners are not hidden and these can be tracked in case of anomalies. Not sure though if there's a case before where a regulated crypto casino is being penalized by regulators or faces the consequences of violating the law of a government in a certain country.
1169  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 23, 2022, 11:29:51 PM
If they suspect you are having gambling problems, they most likely will not let you in.

Can these casinos able to determine if one of their visitors is having gambling problems?

Casinos don't care about that as long as that person seems in proper and likely won't start trouble.

As long as their customers have the money, they are eligible not unless that person will start a big commotion or will show unusual behaviour.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 23, 2022, 11:27:17 PM
We are now in a era where scam devs don't care about anonymity anymore,  now they aren't willing to hide their faces, they will come out in the open, throw you some videos on YouTube and still run away with your money, if you are a newbie you need to have the following in mind when researching projects.

1. Visible team members don't mean they are scam free.
2. A audited smart contract project can still scam you.
3. Scammers can spend a lot on their website to make it look attractive just to make you invest your money.
4. High volume on the listed exchange doesn't make a project clean from going scam.

That scam part in crypto won't end up that's why the community should do the adjustment.

There's always an attempt of stealing money from these scam projects because, in the first place, that's their purpose of setting up a project.

The most important advice for newbies might be, don't get driven by the hype. Because of that hype, newbies are disregarding the associated risks of investing their money and trusting only those shill words.
1171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are group of long experinced traders try our Free signals on: October 23, 2022, 11:24:31 PM
Try out our Free signals.
We are group of long experinced traders.
Maybe in future we might ask money but now you can enjoy our signals for Free.

We trade ALTCOINS we aim only 15%-40% price movements not less and not really more then that.
We Also been working with CORNIX system so we have pretty good experince in trading signals field.

I believed experienced traders are handling too many tasks at the same time. They don't have time for providing signals especially providing a service like this.

Simply, you are just here to farm some money. There's no such thing as "SIGNALS".

Sorry but that kind of service really doesn't have a good reputation here in the forum.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 23, 2022, 11:22:14 PM
For the meantime, this fight will be parked unless there's any further news and updates with regard to this match. It will be announced, or another rumor will come up around the social media channels.

And that rumors will surely be circulated next year if Crawford will win against Avanesyan in December and Spence will also win in his next fight.

I just wonder what will happen if Crawford loses against Avanesyan. That's a big news.

Spence might have an easy match for an undisputed Welterweight bout for let's say he will wait for the winner of this match and not fight another boxer yet.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 23, 2022, 11:19:37 PM
It caught us all by surprise I have this feeling that Crawford is secretly negotiating for this match while the Spence fight deal is still ongoing, he just knew that the fight will Spence will not push through, and he is in a hurry to get back in the ring and Avanesyan is a perfect choice, not the boxing community wanted but what Crawford need to get himself in shape a boxer cannot be out of the ring for a long time, it will have a lasting effect and this could be a preparation for their eventual meet up next year.

That was unprofessional if Crawford is secretly negotiating with this match. Because of what you said, we can now consider that he also plays a big role in why that fight against Spence didn't happen. I think Crawford waited once the negotiation with Spence really failed before accepting another fight.

Seems cherry-picked for him but I hope Avanesyan can give trouble to Crawford to somehow not let this fight be an easy landslide win for Crawford.
1174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 23, 2022, 11:15:55 PM
Last time we had it in 2021 when the prices went up, I had a friend who was holding coins since 2018, he kept on buying more and more of them, and since they were really cheap he bought a lot of them as well, ETH was as low as 100 dollars and less for a while before that, and went as high as over 4k+ just to give one example, if you invested 10k dollars into that, you would have 400k+ dollars, and that's just one example. He collected for 2+ years, and when the time comes his 20-30k dollar investments became millions of dollars and that wasn't too hard, just buy and hold.

That's the fruit of patience however not anyone can do that. Might sound simple but in reality that was hard to do. Unless they afford to risk decent money while at the same time having that strong patience to wait for years, that should do.

Actually, everyone is aware of what's the best thing to do but the execution of the process is really hard.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 23, 2022, 10:56:39 PM
Although one would anticipate that the price of ETH should increase given that the supply has decreased by over 5,500 since last Saturday, for some reason, ETH prices haven't exactly seen the coresponding price boost despite lowered supply.

Why hasn't this had a beneficial effect on the price of ETH?

Not just because a certain event happened that is expected to bring the hype, it should be supposed to fill up the expectations of most people.

That's the problem when there's anticipation, if the expectation didn't happen, everything will now question what happened and that doesn't have really an accurate answer, to begin with.

Maybe just lower the expectation as there's no overnight good progress. Instead, Try to look forward in the long term.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alters for Next Bull Market on: October 23, 2022, 10:52:49 PM
i was thinking about what coins could be the next 50x - 100x gains. i think we should mainly focus on top 300 with higher market caps with lower price and supply. I believe that, we can simply gain more from them and then re invest on BTC which is the trustiest.

There's no way to determine what those coins could be gained 50x-100x in the future. Even sticking with those coins that have considered a low supply, everything is not predictable. Being in the Top 300 of the coinmarketcap isn't really a big criteria to depend on.

Everything is being dragged by Bitcoin and that's for sure. Unless there's a big hype on that specific coin, that's the time a coin maybe can get a 50x-100x increase but that will just happen once as if that coin crashes, the hype will be over.

1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 22, 2022, 11:53:10 PM
This is your point of view but in general, people follow celebrities and do whatever celebrities are doing. That's the reason we see many companies use celebrities in their marketing ads and pay a large amount of money to them in order for them to make an ad for their company. They know that the company product will gain attention if a famous celebrity talks about it.

So if any celebrity talks about a gambling platform, this will definitely increase their traffic, as the celebrity fans will also follow him and will play at the same casino. Marketing using celebrity influence is modern day technique to gain customers and gamblers in this case.

You might have a point in your first statement but on the last one, we are talking about gambling here and not a usual product endorsed by the celebrity. Since it's about risking money thing, I doubt fans will follow that celebrity even to the point that they will consider gambling.

It also depends on the chosen celebrity as if that person is not a gambling enthusiast then become a endorser of gambling platform, the marketing might not be clicked to the viewers.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: October 22, 2022, 11:50:45 PM
Impressive bet and wagered amount is small compared to reward, only lucky gambler with skills can win such bets, IMO.

The betting slip shown is not detailed. For that $ 51,000 winning with a capital of $1, the parlay must consist of multiple legs with high odds.

That is something hard to achieve even how skilled a bettor is because the bets need to be considered high odds.

A lucky moment for that man.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 22, 2022, 11:45:55 PM
At least Terence Crawford won't be vacant this year regardless of who's the opponent.

Since the fight against Spence is not gonna happen this year, how about some warm-ups before it might happen next year.

Just enjoy the fight guys without being bitter if it's a cherry-pick or not. It's just clear that before moving up, he is really eager to fight Spence no matter what.
