Okay, whats the deal with this ex D1 hustlers team huh. They keep on winning despite facing Quest Esport which supposed to be one of the top favourites to win TI slots. Im abit tempted to take them to win tomorrow against Entity, I think with some sheer of luck they could get the first slot though. Getting some new promising faces on TI this year seems great

Meanwhile OG won the 1st map against Alliance
Quest picked Lycan too early in map three and gave D1 Hustlers the option to counter him with Underlord's Atrophy aura and Luna Galaxy drafted good tanky heroes that became a meat shield for their Medusa.

OG was close to getting eliminated during the last map when they were feeding kills over Alliance in the early phase but they're lucky Alliance didn't constantly put on the pressure.

I'm still struggling to win a bet, so i'll go with a single instead of a multi and take the over 2.5 between Entity vs. Luna Galaxy because I think this is a close match, given both teams are one series win away from qualifying for TI.

Nice win for the match of the day special @3.00x you managed to grab @ralle14 !
I thought my bet was surely going to lose because they were still going to advance with a draw, but i'm glad they clutched up in the final few minutes to take the lead.  Cheesy

Today, we have the PSV vs. Rangers specials for the MOTD. I took PSV @2.60, another home favorite heading into the second leg, and I also think it's the best bet between the two because last season, PSV had one of the best records at home.

1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: August 30, 2023, 12:42:10 AM
Did that last minute bet make you win or you lost more and regretted the decision?

How late is too late to place a bet or make a wager in both online and offline games and matches?

Are there also good online platforms or betting sites that have good last minute betting options for matches/games?
It goes both ways for me, but I have to say i've lost more because the odds usually go down even further when the match starts in a few minutes. The only time I regret doing it is during live bets because placing live bets takes several seconds and I got unlucky with one of my bets. It was one of the worst bets because the odds quickly shifted from 1.6 to 1.2, causing me to get the lowest available odds.

I'd suggest signing up on all of the decent sportsbooks you can find because they have different odds providers. Picking one or two sites could lead you to miss out on better odds because other sportsbooks offer less juice on specific markets.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: August 29, 2023, 11:25:04 PM
What do you think?
It's not the safest way to gamble, but it pays off if the casino allows you to play on their casino for a long time because, like you've said, only a few are VPN-friendly. Those gamblers probably understand the risk of using a VPN since they've also read the terms and conditions of other casinos, so they should know what's possibly coming to their account. It's also a win on the side of the casino because it's another way to get new users playing in their casino when the others are very strict with their rules and that makes me think they're unlikely to enforce the VPN rule.

More match of the day promo.  Grin

I already placed my bet on Galatasaray's special @3.00. They're currently up by one goal after the first leg and should overpower Molde.

Molde doesn't look that solid on the road, so Galatasaray should be able to score at least two and hope Icardi gets one of the two.  Wink

1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the transfers to the Saudi league become a problem for European football? on: August 29, 2023, 02:01:23 AM
I think this is an overblown fear. Because I think the stock of star players in Europe never runs out.
I agree there are still a lot of European leagues aside from the top five that we're mostly familiar with.

While some of the big players are getting transferred, this also gives other players more opportunity (minutes) to play and see new players improve. It only looks concerning because the big leagues lost a lot of good players, but as the others have said, it's only a matter of time until we see the other players step up and likely fill the slot of these big players.

well i cant rest so much because the relegation zone its not so far for me now, its gonna be really tight end in division 1.

I hope next round return to the path of victory, i need one like water.
It's the same for me. I need some points this week to recover my previous spot in the standings and avoid the possibility of fighting for relegation in the last few rounds of the season.

I spent too much time researching the questions this round, and i'm starting to think it won't matter because there are a lot of toss-up questions this time. Also, the H2H tennis question looks tough. I have no clue which one will fumble and have an early exit.  Tongue
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: August 29, 2023, 12:45:48 AM
Do you think that there is a dependence of online casino winnings on the time of year? For example, for 9 years of playing, I received almost all the biggest winnings from November to May. In other periods, the game develops much worse  Undecided.

What time of the year do you win more often?
I'd say yes because some casinos release some of the best promos in specific months because of a celebration (birthday, milestone, partnership, etc.) and gamblers would use this rare opportunity to boost their casino wins.

Most of the good wins I can recall happened in the second half of the year only because the casinos I used to play at brought back one of the old promotions and it was one of the promos that gave me the biggest winnings.

1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2023, 11:25:33 PM
Nigma matches are complete stump. It is either they stump their opponents, or they get stumped. Unfortunately, they are now eliminated from the qualifiers. We will not see Kuroky play for TI this year. And unfortunately for your bet as well, they lost so you also lost your bet.

Though your OG bet is looking good. OG is destroying the Ancient Tribe. They have dominated the first map right from the draft and the lanes. They have snowballed and are now in a comfortable 17K gold lead. I do not think Ancient Alliance will be able to turn this around. They drafted very poorly and now OG is punishing them for that.
From looking promising during the BetBoom qualifiers to losing against one of the lowest-seeded teams. I almost got my hopes up but at least Alliance ended it early.  Tongue

OG with a clean 2-0 win against Ancient Tribe, and after that upset by Alliance, they now have the easiest path to the lower bracket finals, assuming Luna Galaxy will lose against Quest in the upper bracket.

We got some upper-bracket matches later today, and I have to side with Secret because i'm starting to think that their win is more impressive than Entity. I also added Quest -1.5 in my bet since they've already beaten them in the previous Tour.

1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2023, 02:36:44 AM
I'm surprised to see Entity edge out Nigma with a reverse sweep win and Nigma looked underwhelming after game 1.

In the lower bracket series, I got Nigma and OG in a parlay @2.84 to sweep against their opponents. There's a big gap between these teams, and a 2-0 win should be the minimum against these underdogs if they plan to improve and potentially go on a deep run.

1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Glitches still affects online casinos? Or it's the casinos that sucks on: August 28, 2023, 01:51:20 AM
I experienced a similar loss (game crashed after hitting a free spin), but mine was years ago. I'd still say it happens to a few gamblers because connection timeouts can randomly occur, but it shouldn't be that frequent when some providers have a solution to restore your progress.

If it happens to me again and I have proof to back it up, i'll reach out to their support and try to get the amount i've lost from the glitch or crash. Their live support will likely ignore me in the most polite way possible if I don't have a recording or proof that it happened.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Steps to Manage Your Bankroll with Bitcoin Betting on: August 28, 2023, 01:11:10 AM
The third and fourth step depends because like they've said, there are casinos with crypto converters placed on the deposit or cashier page and other casinos place the current prices at the top or bottom of the casino page.

I get that it's a must to track the fees you're paying, but this shouldn't help you decide your bet amounts unless it significantly reduces your bankroll, which you shouldn't allow to happen if you're tracking your fees consistently.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your all time favorite comeback for a team with a player or two sent off? on: August 28, 2023, 12:09:37 AM
So am asking, what's your all time favorite comeback for a team with a player or two sent off?

Also, could you share some tips on how you managed to maintain composure or stay calm, when you placed a bet on a team with a sudden red card or a player or two sent off?
I don't have a favorite but I guess i'll pick Liverpool because I still remember watching one of their comeback match in the previous seasons and they had a similar match where they were playing at a disadvantage but it didn't matter for them.

The only tip I could give is to observe proper bet sizing so you don't get pressured into cashing out these bets midway through the match.

How is everything looking for you guys so far?
Things are looking good for me in this BSFL round with four correct answers but nothing is over yet and things can change so I am not making any early celebration.
This round's a close loss for me. The winner was decided between the Leverkusen match yesterday and I paid the price for doubting them on the road.

Congrats to Trofo for his fifth win. Wink

1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 26, 2023, 12:18:55 AM
Since there is no advantage to keep it there, I don't know why OP has that idea. It seems a bit strange for me.  Grin
The only advantage I see in saving through gambling sites is if they start offering interest, similar to what Freebitcoin offers to all their customers who still have a balance on their site.

I guess OP found the idea worth discussing because a few casinos offer these features and back then, you'll see a few gamblers create a second account to store some of their money.

I can finally join the survivor pool without using a VPN.  Wink

It took me a while to find the survivor pool and it is located in the games section (between the poker and bonuses) if the link above doesn't lead you there.

All these match of the day specials include all these specific goalscorer which is kinda bad. I mean I know for sure that Chelsea is going to win against Luton and over 1.5 goals but Sterling might not score anything tonight. I'd rather if they include in over corner or overall shots on target for these match of the day special rather than goalscorer

Im not happy with the specials so I made my own betbuilder, wml !
I agree and it's why I don't put a lot of units on these specials because the ATGS leg they include can be a hit or miss. I also skip some of them because they're sometimes a bit of a stretch with the markets they put in together.

Good luck with your bet builder, and I hope we both cash our bets at the end of the match.  Wink

Edit: Sterling ATGS is secured now I only need one more goal and the win for the special to hit.  Wink
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 01:32:00 PM
It's a bad call to save money in a gambling wallet because most crypto casinos will require you to gamble all of your deposits at least once and other casinos can charge high fees for withdrawals. You'll eventually lose a small portion of your money because you can't always roll over your deposit without losing anything.

Also, casinos have different minimum deposit amounts so you can't always put in money compared to bank accounts or online wallets. There are too many inconveniences in using gambling wallets as an alternative to a savings account.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 25, 2023, 02:17:35 AM
WD is that one hero pick that isn't meta but feels like a raid boss when utilized properly by the team. I've seen a few pro games wherein WD feels like someone that cannot be defeated and an overall effective core hero in midlane. There are times though that WD feels like shit - well it's most of the time - so it's really a highly situational pick.
I agree you need a good setup to make a WD core similar to how B8 last picked the hero against Nouns and I think he's in a similar position as a Rubick core that falls off later on if he doesn't snowball. Then again, he's better off as a support than a core because there are still too many good mid heroes to choose from and the only time I saw a WD core win was when Gaimin Gladiators picked it as an offlaner.

There is still no set meta in this patch so there may be more undiscovered heroes that are good in this patch.
Hopefully, it stays that way for a while because it's fun to see the teams cook up different drafts on every map.
