Ok, ok, psy!

I'm going to rewrite:
The accent is somewhat different. If a Portuguese citizen speaks quickly, a Brazilian may not understand and vice versa.

What is the difference?

Pessoalmente eu nao utilizo e nao pretendo utilizar a curto prazo.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page
http://www.weusecoins.com

1. possibilidade de desvalorizacao repentina apos a compra dos BTCs;
2. necessidade de hedge para mitigar o item acima = custo maior;
3. necessidade de grandes volumes para "valer a pena";

1174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - 3rd batch information. on: February 16, 2012, 12:00:08 PM
the bug fixed yesterday. now cgminer works fine with Icarus. source code:
  https://github.com/xiangfu/cgminer/tree/icarus

steps on how co compile under Linxu:
 $ git clone git://github.com/xiangfu/cgminer.git
 $ cd cgminer
 $ git checkout -b icarus origin/icarus
 $ ./autogen.sh && ./configure --enable-icarus --disable-opencl --disable-adl && make
 $ sudo make install

Thank you, xiangfu! Nice work.

This cgminer works with any version of the icarus bitstream?

Ótimo post, Jay!

Parabéns!

Working on i t... workaround for now is to set fan to fixed speed and disable --auto-fan

Thank you, ck. No need to hurry.
I know you are very busy these days.

Didn't' forget about this  Tongue I ran 2.1.2 with no errors for 18 hours then started 2.2.3 yesterday with the same flags and got this:
(...)
Weird how las initialised is slightly after start time, but it wasn't disabled for a few hours.  You might be on to something here.

I had to stay on 2.1.2. It's weird just us having reported this problem.
I believe that when people with 5970 rigs running Linux update cgminer, more posts like ours will appear.

=50/(((2^32)*O1)/(O2*1000000)/86400)

Onde:
- O1 é a célula com o número da dificuldade atual (ex.: 1379647);
- O2 é a sua capacidade de processamento atual em Mega Hashes (caso queira mudar para GHashes ou KHashes, basta alterar os zeros da multiplicação);

Obs:
- 50 é o prêmio atual por bloco descoberto (lembre-se que isso mudará para 25 em algum momento próximo do final do ano);
- 86400 são os segundos em 1 dia;

Com esses dados vc consegue montar a planilha no formato que desejar (basta adicionar cotações, conversões, custos, etc).

I use these flags
Code:
-I 8 --gpu-engine 950,850,830,950 --gpu-memclock 850,180,180,850  --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 82

How do I check it's detecting right?  It lists in the same order as 2.1.2. --gpu-reorder worth checking?
I can't see anything wrong with that. Without --gpu-reorder it uses the same order as 2.1.2 would have detected. I guess you'd know pretty quickly if it was setting the wrong speed on the wrong device and...

[2012-02-05 00:01:17] GPU 0 AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series hardware monitoring enabled
[2012-02-05 00:01:17] GPU 1 ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series hardware monitoring enabled
[2012-02-05 00:01:17] GPU 2 ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series hardware monitoring enabled
[2012-02-05 00:01:17] GPU 3 AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series hardware monitoring enabled

looks pretty convincing. So I'm at a loss for why it should be any worse.

Note also that you are having it being disabled and reading OFF. There is only one place in the code where cgminer does this itself - when it hits the thermal cutoff limit. Now it is possible there is some code convolution issue going on somehow that makes the fan not rise when one of the GPUs is being restarted. Note that your bug report shows thread 2 being idle (which would be GPU 1) and then it proceeds to disable threads 4 and 5 (being GPU 2)... Interesting... I'll audit the code, but perhaps try it without auto-fan on, setting what you know to be a safe static fan speed and see if the problem persists.

ck, I'm having the same "OFF" problem described, in rigs with 5970 and 5870:
