A Christian was knifed to death after Sunday prayers near a church in northwest Bangladesh in an attack claimed by Islamic State. Police said unidentified attackers murdered the 65-year-old in the village of Bonpara, home to one of the oldest Christian communities in Muslim-majority Bangladesh. “Sunil Gomes was hacked to death at his grocery store just near a church at Bonpara village,” said Shafiqul Islam, deputy police chief of Natore district. Isis claimed responsibility for the murder through its Amaq news agency, according to the Site monitoring group, saying it was “part of a series of operations” in Bangladesh. The killing came hours after the wife of a senior anti-terrorism officer was murdered in the southeastern city of Chittagong by suspected members of a banned local extremist group. Bangladesh is reeling from a wave of murders of secular and liberal activists, and religious minorities, that have left more than 40 people dead in three years. Authorities have blamed homegrown Islamists for the attacks, which have spiked in recent weeks, rejecting claims of responsibility from Isis and a South Asia branch of al-Qaida. Actually that's horrible when people are murdered for whatever reasons. I have no answer on how to stop it.

That's the great news! The only thing which is remained to be done is that the Central Bank of the Philippines is really start using Bitcoin, for now it's just an intention of maybe several persons in the top management of the Bank.

Its a big no,i have a wonderful job with a high salary, i will never quit on my job just to be full time on bitcoin.
You are a lucky man, congrats! As you can see most people here don't have the job of their dreams, me included. I would definitely go full time on Bitcoin only if the job would give me enough money to live.

In was just thinking about this earlier today and I was wonder how different people from different countries would spend their gamblin winnings?
If you do spend it what do you spend it on and why ?
If you don't spend it what do you do with it ? Do you gamble more ?
Gambling is not a job you can make money with. On the contrary you will lose your money most likely with gambling. Most commentators above are having the right attitude and saying the right thing: they don't gamble for profit, and that's the only way you can stay away from the the addiction.

Many people said that they have earned a lot Btc because they have effective script for gambling sites. They even showed proofs of their profit. Are there really effective scripts for the gambling sites?
Of course there are none. If only it would be possible to write such a script all gambling sites would stop operating immediately. But however strange it might seem there are still people who fall for this.

If that woman is not interested at all whatever explanation you will say she wont understand. for me im going to show my earnings in bitcoin and how i got it. and i will also say that bitcoin has many use that she can like.
Same way you can motivate a man to use Bitcoin. Who on Earth will not be interested if you show them that it's one best ways to earn money nowadays? My point is women do not need any additional motivation.

Great thread! I haven't heard of this before. I mean is that a fact that 98% of the atoms in our body are replaced in just 1 year? Actually I think it's hard to check if this is true. If someome is claiming that when you eat an apple with an Iron atom in it and an Iron atom in you is replaced by that Iron atom in the apple since all the iron atoms have absolutely the same properties how can you confirm that the atom was replaced?

That depends about what you want. If you have allot of money and thinks the casino is your lucky day then you need to go if you want. But i think investing would be many times better then just gambling your money.
Sometimes investing is even worse than gambling. There are a lot of scams who wnat your money so you should be very careful. If you are gambling you know you will lose, but if you are investing you think it's much more safe than gambling and that's a wrong way of thinking sometimes.

The price is increasing insanely in the last days and now the the question is When exactly to start selling? I am not going to sell even if Bitcoin hits $1,000, but that's me, I have only 1 Bitcoin so I wouldn't profit much anyway. I understand the urge to sell some in people with a lot of BTC.

So, people in Switzerland rejected this proposal on national referendum. I'm not surprise with such outcome. They are hard working people and also very realistic. They understand very well that ''there is no such thing as free lunch'' and that this money should come from somewhere, most likely from increased taxes. People who suggested such idea didn't really explain from where they will collect money for ''basic income''. We should inspire people to work and help them with jobs, not help them to stay at home and do nothing.
I absolutely agree with this. Doing nothing is not healthy for the person who is doing nothing in the first place. There would be a lot of suicides in a country with such monthly ‘basic income’. I'm glad the Swiss people rejected the stupid idea.

I would not like to be paid in Bitcoin because then you will have to sell them your self if you want to have cash in your pockets. I think that it is also not possible to pay your bills with Bitcoins.
If you are paid with Bitcoins you might encounter with unconvinienses of course but I'd accept them. It's not so hard to exchange your coins these days if you need fiat for paying bills etc. But what I like is that the remaining part of your payment might constantly grow in its dollar value.

Guys do you think there's alternative for martingale? I found some strategy anti-martingale and reverse martingale do you think guys it will work in dice game or other gambling games?
Yeah, I love reverse martingale. At least you are not hoping to win playing like that, so you won't invest a lot of money in the game. You might win also once in a while. I've won with reverse martingale couple if times, but of course I lost much more.

According to Mike Hearn's blog, he said the Bitcoin is failing and dying so he sold all his Bitcoin. Is it really true or it is just his marketing strategy?
IMO the guy just wants to spread some bad news about Bitcoin to lower the price. Then he'll buy a lot knowing that Bitcoin will go up anyway.

Greetings all. I'd like to know what you would do if your bitcoin did one of the following, as I am a little confused about what I'll do myself...
What would you do if:
Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: Bitcoin hit $1,000 again: Bitcoin stayed where it was: Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: And which of these do you think is most probable?
Thanks for your opinions,
-Lags
If in 20 years Bitcoin hits $1,000,000 I'll take my 1 Bitcoin (if I'll save my 1 Bitcoin which I have now till that time) and will live happily ever after. ) $1,000,000 where I live is enough for 2 people to live 80 years a pretty wealthy life.

I have $100,000 to invest but want to safely double it in a year. Any suggestions?
No way you can double money safely. All those companies who claim they can easily double your money in no time are lying. IMO the safest way is to buy Bitcoin and wait couple of years. Most likely your money will be doubled.

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good. Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble. The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me. So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) No one is saying quitting gambling is easy but you can try at least. My suggestion is to play with the faucet money only or with some promo money they give you but never with your own money. That's for starters and then you get bored and quit it for good. )

Do you really trust online bitcoin casinos you play at?
I think all lost in casino, except the owner.
Will you lose or not that's another question. IMO, yes, you will, but that's not because a casino isn't legit. The more you play the more chances that the house edge will get you.

the fun in gambling is losing money... ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) but if you win thats better:) Not only that actually. Gambling is like any other game: makes you forget about your real life problems for a time. Just don't overuse it and you'll be fine.
