Giving up gambling is not easy

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.

gamming is the best way to avoid more gambling , online game or offline , but offline game is not recommended for me . because you doesnt have friend on there. also keep your money on bank or your mother

Yeah, right not easy to give up from gambling.Play on gambling will give a curious feel and intention to try for winning and gain what do you want. Maybe it's only small amount to spend it on gambling but if continuous I think it's same with the big amount of one play. So if you feel curious about gambling you will be a stupid and greedy person with unstable emotional on yourself.

Working out seems a good idea I'll do that. You right gaming does help I should play more games I've been neglecting my gaming lately.

it is really hard to stay away and give up gambling your money and trying to double it up in the easiest way that you can but for me gambling will always end you up losing more, the best way to avoid it is find some other things or leave your computer out of site have fun with your friend and family stay away even in the smallest form of it.

If you really want to stop and stay away from gambling you can do it no one and nothing can break your decision once you have made it . But if ever happens that you realized that you can't stop yourself you really need a counseling . Yeah it is hard when you are really addicted to it and if gambling is already your hobby it's like being addicted to smoking if you want to stop you need to follow the withdrawal procedure .

Make up ur mind and it won't be a problem. It's all about self control. I know, it's difficult.  Easier said than done. Get a life, spend more time outdoors. Get a girlfriend or boyfriend , and dump them once you become bored, then move on to the next hot thing. That should work.

The fact that you're here telling us you can't seem to quit tells us that you might need outside help to stop your gambling habit.  Do you have a spouse or a relative you can rely on?  I think the people who are close to you in real life would be the biggest help in your journey to quit.  Or maybe going to a gamblers anonymous group if you have one in your town.  If the problem runs deep, I think that could help a ton as you would understand your problem more from other people who are going through the same problem.

Family environment mostly support gambler for fully retiring from gamble world.
If there is no support , it's quite difficult to change addicted gambler behavior !

I would say just give up, and create an environment that you don't visit those sites anymore. Install software on your pc that does that. I used to have a serious gambling problems a few months back. Still do, but I have taken steps like never having too much btc on me which doesn't let me give in to the urge of gambling.

this is called gambling addiction and it is pretty common especially among those who are new to gambling.

also it is pretty dangerous because you will always end up losing a lot of money in the process.

You cant do it alone, you need support, you need someone to tell you what your doing is wrong and you need someone to tell you that you need to stop, its like addiction, you cant rehabilitate by your own self, you need help from someone like a friend or relative.

You can try play in dota 2 or league of legends those games for me a re very addictive it can reduce my addiction in gambling thats i am now playing once a week..

Yes you are right , the main thing is people always gamble to win a lot of money . Their main intention is to make money which will make them greedy and they always chase after loss and end up loosing all . Giving up gambling is certainly not easy ,my suggestion is to  just play it for fun . It will reduce the impact of sadness when lost , so it maybe somewhat easy to reduce gambling then .

No one is saying quitting gambling is easy but you can try at least. My suggestion is to play with the faucet money only or with some promo money they give you but never with your own money. That's for starters and then you get bored and quit it for good. )

Yes ,quiting gambling is not as easy as we think ,but there are many ways to make unstead of gambling fun exploring other kind og investing or reading interesting and good news or stories also will help us .

Giving up any addiction is not easy, mainly because it provides us with a good feeling which we enjoy. (Some addictions give us bad feelings we think we deserve)
Ultimately if we decide to undergo an experiment to give up the respective addictions we will see that it quickly brings up emotions in us, if we choose to experience and understand these emotions (by allowing them to pass through us) we will quickly understand why we did this, usually related to childhood events, soon there-after we will no longer have the desire to partake in that addicition anymore, because we fundamentally understand the undying reasons as to why we did it in the first place!

if you want to stop then stop immediately, asking for play money to gamble is just ridiculous. you need to
take your mind away from gambling find some outdoor activities like camping,exercising,playing a sport that
you want or some hobby that will make your hand and mind busy if you dont want to go outside. quitting on
something that you are addicted is never easy and your biggest weapon and enemy is yourself.

Gambling is a kind of other addictions. It is a disease.
From your post I can't get do you play for real money on for bitcoins. I'm more easy to gambling for bitcoins that you are getting from comenting for some campaign; like that you only spend your time and nobody hurted from this. But if you loose your salary for this - it's totally not ok.
I suggest you to try to find new addiction/ new hobby. It will help you with your gambling problems.
