The sad is, the price of bitcoin will never touch $100/bitcoin for the next 2 years. Especially the halving is close now, it's make the bitcoin's price become more expensive.
And after 2 years what will happen? Looks like you are saying Bitcoin might drop to $100 after 2 years, but well I might be wrong about what you trying to say. Anyway, no one in the sane mind would be waiting for $100/BTC to buy. I'd say if you see below $600 - buy like crazy.

from what i see..transactions are still made to this day on that addy..so there is an owner..lucky dude ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) [/quote] Could be a big company not a one person. If a big company decides to keep their profit in Bitcoins it would look like that I guess. They also spend a lot too as we can see from the balances.

gambling is defently wrecking your life because i dont think that there are more people who have fixed their lifes with gambling than people who are wrecked by gambling so that is all i have to say and its true search for it.
I think the proportion would be 1 to 10,000 so you are absolutely right. However if you can control yourself you may gamble for fun losing only small amounts which won't affect your life at all.

The bitcoin halving does not affec the price of the bitcoin people dont be scared it wil only affect people who are mining it is not profitable anymore for small miners to mine.
Halving decreases supply thoug, it means daily can be mined only half of the Bitcoins compared to now. This means miners can sell less Bitcoins, and if the demand for buying bitcoin keeps the same, small up trend in Bitcoin price over time could happen, thus really halving might affecting the price. But I agree, we only know the supply is going to be reduced, but no one can be sure about future demand for buying Bitcoin, thats why halving and associated decreased supply effect cannot predict future price alone. I agree but I can't imagine why the future demand might drop. We are in the situation when more and more people learn about Bitcoin and some of them for sure want to have their own.

Dutch woman jailed for reporting her rape in Qatarhttp://www.smh.com.au/world/dutch-woman-jailed-for-reporting-her-rape-in-qatar-20160612-gph8fm.htmlA Dutch woman who told Qatari police she had been drugged and raped in March has been in government detention ever since on unclear charges, a lawyer said on Saturday. The Dutch Embassy in Qatar confirmed the woman remained held ahead of a scheduled hearing Monday in Doha, which will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The case highlights the clash between Western law and the the Islamic-based legal codes governing Qatar and other Gulf nations as they try to draw in tourists expecting the protection of Western-style laws. The 22-year-old woman, on a vacation with a friend, went out for drinks at a hotel bar in the Qatari capital on March 15, lawyer Brian Lokollo said. While there, she believes someone "messed with her drink" and her memory became hazy, Lokollo said. She later awoke alone, her clothes torn and the victim of a rape, he said. I don't know why these Western women want to work in Muslim nations such as Qatar. The women are always treated as sex objects there. If someone rapes you, then it is your fault. If the rapist is an Arab, then never expect justice from the authorities. I just hope that the Qataris will spare her from stoning to death (mandatory sentence for adultery in Qatar). She shouldn't go there in the first place, not without a male companion anyway. I hope she will be released from the jail soon, will go to her sweet Dutch home and will never visit again such a country.

Quitting gambling for good is not an easy mission if you ask me, due to the fact its very addicting because its a game you are playing. I think if you want to stop for good you need to let your relatives help you and find another hobby also.
I think only time can answer all, because I believe in the end all will stop in time and is also unlikely they will continue to gamble until old I think the aim is to quit before you lose everything you have plus what you have borrowed. Gambling is a serious addiction for some and probably it's impossible to find a simple solution.

I agree with many here on Blockchain.info. In case you are wondering they have 0.0001 BTC transaction fee which I think is OK.

Yeah i agree with you. I think China is the most of the bitcoins user and the second i USA or 1st USA and 2nd China. In my country only some people who use bitcoins here.
Same here where I live. Most people never heard about Bitcoin still. I know it looks like China has the most of them but I think that USA actually has more. They don't mine them much because of the electricty prices there but they are buying them a lot that's for sure.

It is not that easy to stay away from gambling as its made like that to make you more addictive in each of your wins but if you can have control over yourself then off course one day you will be able to stay away from it for sure ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yeah, gambling is extremely addictive but on the other hand, really fun as well. Gambling is completely voluntary, and shouldn't be blamed upon the houses and the casinos for the addiction. If you have the willpower to stop gambling, then you can. But if you don't it's like a drug, you just can't get rid of it. You cannot under estimate the will powerbof a human being. But even a strong willed person will have a hard time quitting gambling once he is addicted to it. It is hard to fight a habit. It will always find ots way to go back to your system. So, it is better to seek professional help of you want to get rid of gambling problems. The thing is professional help isn't an answer in most cases. How many people did really stop gambling after so called "professional help "? I don't know any. Maybe I'm wrong, I'd like to see an evidence that I'm wrong here.

bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here
I have a rule for myself which works good so maybe it will work for you too: It doesn't matter how much they are paying you for the job and doesn't matter how urgent the job is BUT you shouldn't work more than 9 hours per day. You should spend at least one hour each day in the fresh air. And you should have a whole day off at least once per week.

Money brings Money and hell lot of money So rich people who are having greed to get more money, will definitely do gambling.. thats the shortest way to double your money
I'd say the opposite: that's the shortest way to lose your money. I thought everybody knows that, we have enough topics here which cover the subject, but apparently there are other opinions still.

Hi,
This 1,5 week the BTC had trouble breaking through the 588$ barrier, and after watching football last night, I check the BTC price and got surprised in a very positive way: $610$ and climbing. At the moment it is 630$+
We are getting closer and closer to halving, what pricerange do you guys expect at 1 July?
I certainly hope so, but if it will stabilize at where it is now I think it's not so bad also. Now I'm wondering how many people who bought at $600 long time ago have their coins now and how happy they are that they actually didn't lose their money.

I am just curios how it started for you....
Did gambling get you into Bitcoin? Or did Bitcoin get you into gambling?
This is the question which is realy hard to answer for me personally. First I knew that there is a thing which is called Bitcoin and I earned a very samll amount of it, around 200k sats in 4 months, from different faucets, but the first comparatively big amount, 0.015, came from a gamling site.

Is anybody have an idea
It is extremely hard to write something which is interesting to many people, but if you can manage to do so you can earn Bitcoins this way. First of you should make an interesting blog which thousands will follow and the rest is easy.

When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?
Yes I do have a daily limit, it's not more than 1 hour of gambling. As for the money, I always play with very small bets so I never lose a lot, but time is a precious thing too.

If Bitcoin dropped to $1, I would buy all the Bitcoins I can afford.
buy as much as possible it is a good choice, but remember that you have to play fast, like doing a fast trade. because it certainly will not last long, when the price increases will fall back Oh absolutely, law of supply and demand. However, this post is based on a parallel universeThat's what I thought too. No way Bitcoin will drop to $1 before the Sun will drop on Earth. I'm pretty sure we will never see below $490 again. There are some things which are certain.

It very close to the bitcoin halving. Do any big BTC holders have any intention of buying something with their BTC? Are any going to continue holding. One of my friends is planning on buying a phone. He has been storing up for a long time.
Your friend has a lot of BTC I suppose, good for him, that's why he is going to spend part of them on the new phone. I have just a little bit over 1 BTC so I'm not going to buy anything. I'll just hold for the time being.

Well, until more of these drugs are legalised and taxed the cartels will continue to make money. The war on drugs, is essentially America fighting a war against itself. If the demand is there, people will find a way to buy these drugs while jumping through all sorts of hoops to get it.
I agree with you. War on drugs is the reason of many deaths, from the war itself and from the poor quality drugs people buy because they can't just go to a pharmacy and buy the controlled stuff of high quality.
|
|
|
How safe is it?
The answer is simple: as long as you can afford the loss or potential price drop, it's safe. Yes, but the question is how low, or to what extent the price might drop. I think we'll never see below $490 and even if we'll see it the price will go up from that point in the matter of days.
