11661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mozilla removed BTC from Donation Form on: December 09, 2014, 12:02:43 AM
When it comes to donations, apparently, the more payment options you have the less money you make...

Weird for sure.

Usually the more payment options there are, the more people have to choose from.

Never realised this would cause a drop in their revenue  Roll Eyes

11662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WHAT is going on at blockchain.info??? on: December 08, 2014, 11:27:18 PM
I haven't had any problems using 2FA with blockchain, perhaps something went wrong on your side?

Did blockchain give you a brief explanation of what the problem was?
11663  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: December 08, 2014, 09:56:38 PM
Great win for United, wasn't an exiting match, but another 3 pointer.

Van Persie the man for United, hope he will continue like this.

They managed to get spot 3 on the list, now they just need to defend that.
11664  Economy / Services / Re: CLOUDMINR.IO || Sign. campaign Up to 0.4 BTC/month || 2 Member spots available on: December 08, 2014, 09:19:42 PM

Has the escrow address been topped up for the week?
Thanks

Yes, it's topped up  Smiley

Good to see that CLOUDMINR.IO is a man of his word.
11665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin as PAYMENT method is a good choice ? on: December 08, 2014, 08:58:34 PM
As above posts say, better keep both payment methods.

It's a good thing when people have multiple payment options to choose from.

Bitcoin has many advantages that Paypal simply can't offer. Great addition for each shop, service, site.
11666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had any bitcoin addresses with a balance in May, 2014 claim FREE ~0.02BTC on: December 08, 2014, 08:53:29 PM
How do I claim the clams sent to my address? I can't see any special transactions in my address during May.

Same question here. There are no special transactions??

I do have around 7 addresses that I don't use but they have less than 0.005 balance.
11667  Economy / Speculation / Re: shouldn't there be a slight surge in price soon due to xmas paper wallet gifts? on: December 08, 2014, 06:25:54 PM
If there is any surge in price that will be due to the new year comming closer and closer.

Yeah most likely people will sell for fiat to buy presents, then there will be a rebound from smart people getting in on the dip.

Instead of selling for fiat, I hope people will use their coins to spend them where possible.

There are great sites where you can buy tech and non tech related goods with Bitcoin.
11668  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do if bitcoin price fall down to $100 ? on: December 08, 2014, 06:19:37 PM
Won't happen, there is huge support between $200 and $300.

But just to answer your question: I would definitely buy as many as I can.
11669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to invest 550 BTC? on: December 08, 2014, 01:44:34 PM
I always wonder why people thinking investing in real estate is a safe investment. It isn't. Its never safe, and the property is never yours  Grin There are so much cases that can happens for your loose your estate in these times.

Invest in virtual goods. Content. Websites. Invest in things you can easy carry  Grin

Have hold a good part still as BTC for safety on a safe place.

30-35% you invest. Thats a good thing and safe

Why is the property never yours? Real estate is actually a good investment considering the appreciation that happens over year.
But if you make a bad investment, then thats another thing.

Some people get themself a mortgage or loan just to invest in real estate.

If they for whatever reason can't pay off their debt, you'll of course lose your investment.

11673  Economy / Services / Re: Selling sig space for 1 year! on: December 08, 2014, 10:22:40 AM
Haven't you learned anything from previous threads with the same goal?

No one managed to get what he wanted.
11674  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: December 08, 2014, 10:18:03 AM
I think food shopping is the highest on my list.

Would be nice to walk into any store and to see a sticker with "Bitcoin Accepter Here"
11675  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: December 08, 2014, 10:11:03 AM
at least 100, with a value of 10k each

It depends on where you live, but with $1,000,000 you can have a decent life.

If you can live with $3000 per month, then you'll have nothing to worry about.
11676  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Domain] BitcoinTalk.club on: December 08, 2014, 09:53:56 AM
I'll start this off with 0.01
If I win this, please send me a PM.

I'll give it 24 hours more, if not I'll give you negative trust.

What's up with the fake bidders nowadays, if you don't want to buy then DON'T bid!!
11677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crazy low volume the last few days, is something big about to happen? on: December 07, 2014, 11:16:44 PM
Volumes are low yes, but that doesn't mean something will happen.

At this point buyers and sellers are waiting, waiting for....... Who knows.
11678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikipedia on: December 07, 2014, 11:00:22 PM
"To protect our independance, we'll never run adds"

To protect my independance, I won't give you my name.

As mentioned above, it is possible they collect your name (among other information) so you can receive a tax deduction the following April when you file you taxes. I would think that most people would likely want to take advantage of such tax breaks.

Additionally, from what I can tell they do not check your identity information for accuracy, so there is nothing to prevent you from saying your name is "John Doe" who lives at "123 Main street"

I wonder why Mozilla doesn't require anyone to fill in so many details.

They only ask for your email address.
11679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are dropping? on: December 07, 2014, 09:31:52 PM
Ifbitcoin was stable there would not have that much fun, so its good to go up and down Tongue

So you would rather watch your investment being worth $1000 today, and next week $600, and the other week $800?

To you it might seem funny, but the average Joe likes stability.
11680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coiling for a big move.. on: December 07, 2014, 09:10:28 PM
We might see some end of year pump, maybe to 600 again, but it won't be sustainable  until we reach the last year's volumes again.

Without the help of fake coins, I would prefer

I also think there will be a so called rally, but at this point there is too much selling pressure.

We might see $500 for a very short time, but I guess miners will use that price level to cash out some of their coins.
