11661  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 27, 2015, 01:07:51 PM

Anshar is an alt of Candystripes and received the appropriate negative feedback from badbear. He is wearing a bit-x signature. You should make sure that he does not receive payment from your campaign to avoid paying a scammer.
11662  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Physical bitcoins - Bitcoin Exchange of New Orleans on: March 27, 2015, 07:10:19 AM
Why did you include a reference to New Orleans if you are looking for shipping to the EU?

There was a person not long ago who was giving out their shipping address to people who were selling physical coins, were claiming they would be able to pay for them in the very near future and then never ended up paying for them - likely in hopes the coins would be shipped out without payment.

I would say that anyone considering to sell any coins should be very careful in any situation
11663  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: March 27, 2015, 07:00:35 AM
I've already PMed my address to DefaultTrust, but I will leave it here as well for redundancy.

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My address is 1CDyx8AUTiYXS1ThcBU3vy4SJWQq6pdFMH
CAN I GET A WITNESS?!!!!
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
1CDyx8AUTiYXS1ThcBU3vy4SJWQq6pdFMH
IJBSSLR5AmtAIQdf7RmFkvZcDjmbVx8V6bQomuM9YWPPKnW+h01Z7U9xo9mkyfdSZgZ+lopy+/UnvVBaz0Qav1U=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
I guess I will spam my signature just one time on this thread as a witness. Per armory, your signature is valid Wink

Sometimes when I am posting, my browser randomly starts putting my text were it is not intended and this is not always noticed.

Hi quickseller. Im not best poster becouse i dont know english very well:) But for sure im not troll, i only hate when people who scam other guy still can write on forum as normal person. All thief and scammers should be banned and ignored.
I know BAC is mrklye friend he even talk just as him. I ask him to remove my trust but now he ignore me.
And thank you very much for this post. Greeting's!
Well the fact that you are a troll or not does not really matter in regards to the case in hand.

If they are friends, then it is completely understandable for BAC to stick up for MYRKLE, no, if they are friends then shame on BAC if he did not stick up for MYRKLE, however that does not mean that he should be giving negative trust to people in order to shut them up about thefts that he has previously carried out that negatively affected the community.

I guess you understand now huh?
I assume you are referring to blazr. My understanding is that you were running an exchange that did get "hacked" slash had a back door and customer funds were stolen slash went missing.......somewhat similar to what happened with inputs/coinlenders and TF

camelson participated in my signature campaign but he asked to be removed after he was accused of signature spamming by someone (that was not a moderator).

I don't think camelson is the best poster and he is probably somewhat of a troll but I don't think the negative trust is appropriate.

I have somewhat gotten the impression that BAC is friends with MRYKLE.

I don't think the negative trust should be seen by people by default, and if the negative trust is not removed in the very near future then I agree that he should be removed from the default trust network.

I do think that TECSHARE is probably going to get another negative, if he does it won't be appropriate though
11667  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius Silver Coins - MS67/MS68 on: March 27, 2015, 03:53:45 AM
10btc for 4 1btc coins? seems like a good deal for the buyer and not u blazed. hard to believe u r letting them go so cheap considering u spent money grading them too
A set is a silver single, a gold+silver single, a silver half and a silver tenth, all graded MS-67.

I am not sure what a set is worth although 10 btc is a lot of money and the set has been for sale for barely 24 hours and not splitting them up could make it so less people can afford to buy them all (full disclosure: my offer of 8 btc is all I can afford ATM and still stands and I asked to buy just the tenth but blazed probably smartly declined)
11668  Other / Meta / Re: Woke up this morning... on: March 27, 2015, 01:50:50 AM
3 days wasn't so bad. It freed up more time for lurking.
You were banned for three days for bump spam? Do you know if the bumps were actually made within less then 24 hours of each other?
11669  Other / Meta / Re: A more effective way to reduce signature spamming on: March 27, 2015, 12:41:20 AM
I have seen a bunch of people who "kick the tires" asking questions with no intentions of buying (mainly in the goods/computer sections). I think the spammers who make those paragraphs of utter junk are worse than the short spammers!
Some of these people are trying to find information that might protect a potential trading partner. For example warning that a newbie selling a gift card might have purchased it with a stolen credit card. But yea, I know what you mean when people ask a lot of random questions, the answers to which often would not sway most people one way or another in deciding to buy
11670  Other / Meta / Re: A more effective way to reduce signature spamming on: March 27, 2015, 12:15:05 AM
Yeah, I'm thinking that a good response to sig spam might be to ban the person for ~5 days and disable all but the most basic styling in their signature for 60+ days. (With times increasing for repeat offenders.)
I would like this idea. I had previously proposed(original) something similar to this a few weeks ago - my actual proposal would be to completely disable signatures for a certain period of time starting when they were banned for signature spamming (insubstantial posts + paid sig) and to have it reenabled sometime after they can start posting again. My idea was later somewhat rebutted by SaltySpitoon in that it would stop people from displaying their PGP keys, etc., and this would be a good rebuttal to that rebuttal in that people could still easily display things like a link to their PGP key but would effectively prevent people from participating in signature deals.

So when I bid in an auction rather than "I Bid 3BTC" would you prefer something like "Hey guys and gals I am wanting to make a bid on this amazing item. I think I will start my bidding at 3BTC and we will see how it goes. I am really excited to watch this auction, and will be bidding later" Somethings do not require any more than 2-3 words...
exactly. A good amount of the time, anyone with a paid signature who is posting in the auction section and not making a bid post alone, is more likely then not spamming and doesn't actually have any interest in winning the auction. There is sometimes legit conversation in auction threads, however I think it is pretty rare
11671  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.08 BTC Loan on: March 26, 2015, 11:26:52 PM
Your account has participated in a lot of giveaways. You also very recently became a full member (two posts ago). Are you sure you are not simply trying to sell your account?

That all does not matter , If i want sell my account i can easilly go for 0.15 BTC or more .
I would disagree. You are posting in the lending section not the digital goods section. By posting here you are attracting people who are expecting to get their money back, not who are expecting to go through the trouble of reselling a full member account with a poor posting history
11672  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marco the Über Miner on: March 26, 2015, 11:01:07 PM
Candy and Marco the Royal couple? Ewww.

Speaking of which, any guesses to what Candy's current account is?
Badbear had been tagging all of Candy's accounts as he had been creating and buying them. Unfortunately he is away (hopefully) temporarily so he isn't tagging additional of his accounts.

I don't think he is doing any significant amount of business if he has purchased an account as I haven't seen anyone with the kind of offers that candy tends to offer.

His new account is BumbleBeeTC
If you don't believe me, fine, don't believe me. But that's his new account. He has told me personally.

--End post, no more posts on this account for now.
A source of mine told me this and I have seen this posted elsewhere as well. BumbleBeeTC does seem to have similar interests as Candystripes, however there does not appear to be any blockchain evidence linking the account to Candy.

Does anyone have evidence to back this up?

11674  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: March 26, 2015, 09:17:06 PM
Loan amount required: 0.60
110% - 150% Collateral (if you want a sure deal): Collateral is available.
Term length: 3 weeks
Interest: 15%
What collateral are you offering? It is generally best to be as transparent as possible when dealing with loans as there are a lot of people who attemp to scam.
11675  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling BCT forum accounts [BANNED] on: March 26, 2015, 05:49:20 PM
you can unban it by sending some satoshi to the address that forum give you for it
This is not true. If there is a time on the ban message then you will need to wait for that time to expire. If there is no time then an admin will need to unban you; there is no set criteria to get unbanned however I would say it would be fair to say that it would need to be a long time since you got banned, didn't evade your ban and you asked nicely.

By posting outside of meta you are evading your ban which is against the rules.
11676  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Bitcoin with ppmycash give 500$ code want 390$ in btc-with receipt pic - on: March 26, 2015, 05:40:01 PM
He is obviously not using cash. Idk if the receipts are fake or if he is embezzling money from cvs (or 7-11 or ect) or if he is doing some scam where he buys something with a credit card, returns it and tricks the clerk into saying he paid with cash.

I would say most likely the receipts are fake.

Sent you a PM. I can supply you with $5K/day worth of BTC for cash deposit, up to around 3000 BTC. We can trim the fat and totally eliminate PayPal Mycash from the equation and save you 15%. Let me know.

Pm send

Received. Now I'm completely baffled why you wouldn't want 15% more BTC by simply eliminating the PayPal Mycash middle man. You can go out and ostensibly buy PayPal Mycash cards with cash, but you can't do a cash deposit?
11677  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Full member accounts Update March 22 Inventories extremely limited on: March 26, 2015, 03:51:09 PM

11679  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk account Full Member for 0.08 on: March 26, 2015, 02:59:44 PM
Interested in your offer PM me the details

That account have been sold to BTCBLOGGER
Do not send details to quick seller
Ask him only to post the address here

Sorry my bad
I have change the password account again

thank you
Are you new here don't you know how to sell account.
But that OK only quick seller knows the account details
Here is tips how to do trade like this
1. ask escrow provider to paste the address here.
2. He gets the payment and confirms.
After that seller sends the details to buyer
And buyer confirms that the account is in his control.
After that escrow provider sends the payment to seller
that is a good way to scam an account seller out of their account. The buyer would only need to claim that the password does not work and you would likely get at least part of your money back. When trading accounts both the account and funds should go through escrow.
11680  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk account Full Member for 0.08 on: March 26, 2015, 02:44:14 PM
I will send an escrow address via PM however I am going to require that I receive the account details and then will change them and forward them to the buyer in order to prevent any disputes.
