I wouldn't count on that happening in the future. The price of Bitcoin might stay as it is now or go slightly higher but not in the other direction. $500 for 1 BTC is a pretty fair price for today. |

It is really hard to say how much you need to retire in 20 years and that is because the value of the Bitcoin is always changing and that is risky for the most people.
Because some people dont even know what they have to do with the Bitcoin so they are also making some mistakes.
We cannot afford to think of that long, as we don't know how long is the life of bitcoin, and whether it will be alive after next 20 years or not. Yes but you can that say about any prediction. If you think of it long enough it becomes a philosophical question, but still we can make some predictions just for the fun of it IMO. So my prediction is around 100 BTC will be more than enough to retire in 20 years if you are not going to live a life of a billionaire of course. |

gambling is so addicting because it is a easy way for people to try and make some fast money. Playing games and being able to win money sounds like music to some peoples ears and they just keep going.

Gambling will never let you sleep because by doing it you are thrilled feeling mixed emotions and even if you won you don't want to go to sleep because you want some more actions, you can only sleep when you have no money to gamble. For some people there is no way to gamble in a smart way because they are addicts and they wouldn't stop until they lose evrything. But for the other part there is a way:
1. Gamble only with fraction of the money you can afford to lose.
2. Don't gamble more than 1 hour per day because time is also a valuable thing.

I had more faith in gold before bitcoin came into existence but after I started to know bitcoin my all money goes into it as an investment.

When the Fed increases the interest rate next months, it will cause financial crisis. The bitcoin price will rise.
Well most of us expected it when the crises started, then with greece and now there is the fed. There will always be a reason for bitcoin to shine, but will it happen? I don't think so. The rise will happen steadily as more and more people find their ways towards bitcoin. I agree. Economical crisis is not something we should wait for to benefit from IMO. So for this politics topic I wanted to talk specifically about the harmful effects of illegal drugs and how the forum's users' cities' drug problem are. I will start off by saying that I have cerebral palsy and some mental health issues and to any casual observer, I may be a user of crack cocaine. This is not the case however; I have schizo-effective disorder. I do embarrass myself in public from time to time but I am doing my best.
Is there a rampant drug use problem in your city? In Vancouver, it seems everyone is on something. Soiled cloths, staggering. People love their drugs. To top it all off the drunks assault the alleged drug addicts. (I got assaulted by some douche keeping his neighborhood safe. Ignorance is bliss, ignorance is bliss.
How's the drug problem in your city?
Fortunately where I live there is almost no drug problem at all. Yes, you can spot a druggie once or twice per month but that's not a problem IMO. |

You should never invest money which you might need for buying food or paying your bills but if you have spare money I recommend to invest all of them in Bitcoin now because the price right now is 10-15% lower than it will be several months later.

Yes, you are right saying "They seem to good to be true". But beware of the smart ones also who offers you "just double" your money in say one month. They are also scams but many people fall for it 'cause they look kind of trustworthy comparing to "hundredfold" ones. |

There has been some million transactions on the blockchain in all of history, we know that many people do hundreds or even thousands of transactions and some websites will do hundreds of transactions per day, so it seems fairly impossible that there is even 2 million users. Maybe a little less.
Bitcoin process about million transactions every week currently. I think there are up to 1 million users who use Bitcoin regularly, and definitively well over 10 millions who tried Bitcoin at least once or just bought and holding coins - blockchain.info alone has about this number of accounts. These numbers look close to what I think too. Although the number of accounts on blockchain.info doesn't give us the exact number of users, we can have an idea about it looking there. So I think the number of users is from 1 to 2 million. |
