11781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: March 01, 2014, 05:27:48 AM
Strange situation but my rejects are double my accepted and Im just reporting in, it seems best to just ignore.  My earnings show up just fine so I presume its an erroneous kinda thing, due to Terk using crypto voodoo to harness a black hole for hashing or something
11782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RSC] RealStackCoin | Reverse-scam | Fast Decrease | Scrypt | Launched on: February 28, 2014, 02:04:32 AM
I think the whole premine idea is flawed and open to abuse.    There was some bitcoin google talk discussion mentioned the idea of multi keyed escrow Huh for these kind of bounties so that one guy cant just say something nice and skip town.
cryptocurrency is about decentralisation but when you have these launches or big websites as we saw recently, its a massive flaw in the idea as too much power lies with too few.   Im reminded of the story behind lotr and how the rings were made for good, but I digress  Grin

Also I liked the recent ruby launch which forced the first blocks to be lower value until the network was actually steady, instead of the usual spam attacks as people fight to swamp the nodes with their solved blocks.

Some model related to transaction fees would be preferable to premine I think, this way the bounty for whatever accumulates with usage

36 BTC Buy Wall for 2966 at Poloniex (12166 VTC) Mother of Jesus Lamb Fish
All that BTC must have been where the mtgox funds went to.   I do wonder on the advantages each altcoin including vtc might have over btc or not, maybe one is the sucessor to the throne
11784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ★★ Rubycoin ★★ A precious gem for the digital age on: February 26, 2014, 03:03:32 AM
It was late, however confusion might be that people expected the delay to be for hours.  I think +3hr was said and in fact it was only some minutes later.  I had CGminer on failover, not a big deal.  I wasnt watching launch and didnt have to be as it worked fine by itself

50 to 500 was a great idea.  It should be in the rule book for every coin.    Do I actually love that, not so much because instamine is like 'free coins' & combined with that, the diff moved up so quick; this makes ruby the hardest coin launch ever I think.   Both great ideas just not advantageous to me, maybe it'll equate to higher coin value in time but not right now

11785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: hashra.com asic scrypt.... scam? on: February 24, 2014, 03:21:23 AM
So the power consumption of a 6mh scrypt device is 100w or less I hope.

Otherwise its just for farms who have limited space I guess

20% or higher over time

I had over 50% one time I looked - leaving it over time is unlikely to happen.   Most times the computer is set to restart itself if its screwing up like that.   Ive never seen that high rejects before except on hard errors but maybe its normal for some crazy new coins
11787  Economy / Services / Re: BOUNTY: Make up to 0.001 BTC per Forum Post on: February 23, 2014, 04:15:54 AM
That does make sense.  Hopefully we can get some discussions going Smiley
I would prefer white on black, or slightly differing colour schemes.  Just to give some feedback but chrome usually lets me alter things anyway so just mentioning it

Payment received, thanks

I have about a thousand but I think present price is pretty poor to be selling at.   How would you be paying
11789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] mcxNOW.com : Deposit. Earn Interest. Trade. on: February 23, 2014, 03:47:16 AM
Does anyone know what will happen of my missing 0.003 BTC?

I did that once, the accounts robot ignores anything below minimum.   I guess it could be an anti spam device though I dont think btc has dropped that much!
Its basically going to go towards server running costs, like the fee for withdrawing or trading.

On transfer I often convert my coins into doge or similar low base so fees dont matter so much, lots of sites are like this

You appear to be based in Atlantis, or possibly the bioshock universe I guess.    How much would need paying now to qualify

11792  Economy / Services / Re: [Need Help] Finding a Good Domain Name! 0.05 BTC Reward! on: February 23, 2014, 01:45:41 AM

Now, I have signed up to btcguild. It's a large pool, and we shall see how reliable it is.
BTCguild is very good and has been for a while, good features online and reliable

Interesting review, I reckon I know who wins but the clever scrypt-n switching idea might steal victory

Is there an exchange for this?   I thought it was on cryptorush.in but I think I got it confused with a similar sounding coin!!!

What happened to the little weekly payout, 0.001.
Does that still go out
11799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Compare pools: MiddleCoin/CleverMining/HashCows/WafflePool/Hashbros on: February 19, 2014, 01:51:41 AM
Try Cgwatcher.   It will auto switch coins for you, its a program not a pool.   Gives more control

Im mystified you dont try multipool.us , send it to cryptsy on autosell and see if that pays better also.   Its the original and some say the best!
11800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: February 19, 2014, 01:44:05 AM
Last I looked the site is being updated and they kept pools up without the front end
