1181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is stoploss worth it ? on: February 28, 2019, 10:13:34 PM
I have set the weekly target of 2% profit on the capital amount which is quite easy knowing that BTC swings about 2% on a daily basis and hence it would be an easy target to achieve.

I am achieving the target but as the recent dip was a big one, it took away all the profit I made. So is a stoploss worth a try so that such big dips don't take away the rest of the profit I make ? Should I consider placing a stoploss for such a small target ?
Stop loss is your way of protecting your profits when you are not in front of your laptop or desktop to trade. It will place an order for you in case the price touches your desired Sell price. However, you have to be very careful with using stop loss, a minus 5% from your bought price might trick the system to sell your coins then suddenly will price go up. I would suggest a higher margin like 8%-10% from your bought price.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: February 28, 2019, 09:57:32 PM
Hello,
Many sites are now starting to accept more and more different crypto currencies, for example Luckygames now accepts 101 coin and all of them seems to be active.
My favorite is still Bitcoin and Doge.
Whats your favorite coin that you use for online gambling and if it is not accepted would you convert it to Bitcon to try and play online gambling games?
I have ETH and Doge and I use them in dice sites that accepts ETH and Doge when the price goes down. It's my way of increasing the number of ETH and Doge that I am holding. I use to have XRP and pay with them in same dice site that I play wit ETH and Doge but the YOLO mentality took over my brain and lost all of them.
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do most of You Traders just use a Laptop for trading with??? ? on: February 27, 2019, 11:59:01 PM
I'm using Mac. I feel secure using this laptop.
Also, easy to move around if you have larger screen.
But if there's urgent need, I use my phone.

I'm using my own personal wifi also when I'm out.
If you will just hook up with any available internet connection, you are opening yourself to risk.
I use to trade using my smart phone and tablet, however there are times loading the page is slow and by the time the page is already uploaded, price has changed already so that's a lost opportunity for us. I just use my smart phone in monitoring the price through Blockfolio and store some coins too in my mobile wallet. I am using Trust Wallet.

tested the new v3, it doesnt work most of the time you hit start for auto dice and nothing. after loading it 10 or so times I did get it to start rolling, getting about 1 roll/sec max. ran fortunejack test at the same time fortune gets 3 rolls / sec aprox. The speed setting on bitsler seems to have no effect in my tests always 1 roll/sec at best no matter where I put the slider.   Fix the bugs and it may be fun. really just barely works IE 1 out of 20 launch attempts and it actually starts going
Thanks for the feedback. The Bitsler admin is working hard to make your experience in using Bitsler better so rest assured that your feedback is noted and Bitsler team is working on it. Cheers!

V3 launched! Cheesy
The new Bitsler version was released on Monday the 25th and we've been working on a couple of issues since then to sort out some minor unforeseen issues. Most have been fixed and we are busy with the last few. We have a lot more planned that will be happening soon so stay tuned! Roll Eyes
~snip~
Good job! Thanks for keeping us updated. Looking forward for more news, updates and promotions.
1185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: February 27, 2019, 11:51:11 PM
We are seeing more and more exchanges nowadays. Is it beneficial to the community if we have more of these? What do you think are the benefits and/or the negative impact on having too many exchanges?
New players in crypto exchange is good specially if they can offer new feature that us users will have benefit. More players, more competitors is good for use traders because we have a lot to chose from and this will keep them from improving their service since they know that there are other exchanges out there that we can use if their service is not enough to keep our business with them.
1186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What approach/methods will you use during the next BTC Bull Run? on: February 27, 2019, 11:48:42 PM
I am wondering what I will do during the next bull run.

Here is one idea:

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and HODL until a certain limit.

Or

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and then Sell for profit.

What about you? Cheesy
That's a 26% increase of price of Bitcoin at current price of $3,800 USD + $1,000 USD. If you wan't to earn more better aim for just 2% to 3% increase of price which usually happens in 2 - 3 days after you bought your coins and sometimes even less. its better than aiming 23% increase which might atkes more than a month or even more to happen from today.
1187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do most of You Traders just use a Laptop for trading with??? ? on: February 27, 2019, 11:41:55 PM
Any special computer or just any ol' machine will do?! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I am using a laptop with 7th gen core i5 by intel, the speed and storage is enough for me to trade and do my daily work. I don't use it for gaming.

Do you have a VPN or a personal Hotspot?
At home I am using a broadband internet and when I am traveling I always bring with me my personal wifi. I don't connect to public wifi for security purposes.

What Virus Protection do you use?  How about... Mac Afee?
Kasperskey anti-virus that's all I need and it cost's around $40 per year

Mac or a DELL?Huh Cool Cool

1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin more approachable to common users on: February 27, 2019, 11:30:13 PM
Even after Ten years still Bitcoin is used by Geeks and majority of common citizens doesn't seems to use Bitcoin as a currency or even for trading purposes and I think this situation has occurred because still it is not approachable and that is because even it has all the features for a proper usability majority of people doesn't see Bitcoin as an usable currency for anyone who has basic technical knowledge which is not true but in order to change this situation and make Bitcoin more approachable to common people how its path should change in the future both technically and socially to convince it is a currency for everyone
We can't blame other people who don't believe in Bitcoin and its purposes because of the negative news published in the media. Furthermore, other people just wan't the easy way to spend money since they are earning fiat, paid in fiat so expect them to spend in fiat. But for those who get paid in Bitcoin, ofcourse they will spend it, use it and trade it.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC just went Down on: February 27, 2019, 11:22:55 PM
There's nothing new on what's happening with the price of Bitcoin recently. The price still remain within the range of +/- $200. This is where scalpers and day traders user their expertise. There would be a significant change if we see at least +/- $500 in the price of Bitcoin or maybe +/- 10% of its current trading price. Never the less we are still in the bear market.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: February 27, 2019, 03:37:49 PM
It takes a lot of discipline to save money while gambling specially if you are on a losing streak. Set aside the profits that you gained form your capital. If possible, do not add to your capital your earnings, always keep something for your self whenever you win. Always set a goal in gambling and stick to it.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: February 21, 2019, 11:51:02 PM
What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..
Because bounty hunters own not just one account, they own a lot of accounts to claim the rewards several times. They are taking advantage of those ICO's that does not apply KYC. This type of bounty hunters are not helping ICO's they are just helping themselves. I see posts in Facebook claiming that he has over 20 accounts for bounty hunting only.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: February 21, 2019, 11:43:15 PM
95% of all Day Traders fail because of lack of knowledge and timing. Day Trading is very difficult to apply in cryptocurrency trading. Why? Because cryptocurrency markets are unpredictable. It really needs more reviews and research before buying certain coin or token. I always advice new traders to spend their time to get to know the concept and the purpose of the projects or to DYOR (Do Your Own Research). Sometimes the reason why you buy certain coin or token because of hype or FOMO ( fear of missing out ) wherein you see your friends in social media enjoying what they hold. FOMO always happen anywhere in social media because it uses as a marketing strategy to manipulate the markets. Therefore, before diving into cryptotrading, always make sure to DYOR!
They fail because they thought its easy and all they need to do is Buy Low, Sell High. What they did't know is whoever invited them into cryptospace just earned from them through a referral link from of an exchange site. I see a lot of Facebook adds saying turn your $5 into $25 in 24-48. Who doesn't wan't that. For noobs, they will bite the bait but what they don't know is in trading it takes more than Buy Low, Sell High.
1194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Become a 'crypto whale' for as less as 5$ on: February 21, 2019, 11:37:18 PM
I don't like the idea of grouping together or forming a group with the intention of manipulating the market. Having that much BTC can manipulate the price of Bitcoin which is not a good idea. Why can't we just leave the price of Bitcoin alone and let it grow organically. No need to form a group to create a pool of money to command where the price will go.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest or wait ? on: February 21, 2019, 11:28:00 PM
in my opinion, now buying a guaranteed coin , because I see the market conditions have started to improve even though they are not full , wait a few months I'm sure what we're waiting for will happen, the bull run will arrive
Regardless of the market condition, weather its bear or bull, if you plan to invest, good day is today, yesterday is done and you can't go back to that anymore. Tomorrow you will look back at this day and say again you should have invested you money today and earned xx%. Just always remember that use/invest only money that is not needed or idle.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should we be expecting a bull run? on: February 21, 2019, 11:16:57 PM
I don't see any bull run anytime soon. There's no reason why and there's no event that would trigger a possible bull run. Just let the price of Bitcoin grow by it self not by any artificial means like pump and dump. If you check the price, its slowly going up so if you bought Bitcoins last February 14 at $3,593 you already gained at least 9% profits if you sold yesterday when price peaked at $3,949. Not bad for 8 days investment. You don't need to wait for the bull run.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: February 21, 2019, 03:27:05 PM
am new in the game and am wondering which exchange will be best for a new trader, with respect to transaction fees and others
Binance, Bitfinex, Etc. Is the most secured exchange, One thing. Just try to visit coinmarketcap and find the best adjustment volume 24Hrs so you will see the most volume exchange there and you can decide if what is on your mind.
There is no such thing as a secured site if you don't know how to secure your account. Using a strong password is not enough, you need to add 2FA for added security. Changing your password regularly will help and avoid using birthdays or dates that have a connection to you or your family members. Nevertheless, in terms of site security, I like Binance security features, compared to others.
1198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lesson from the prolonged bear market on: February 21, 2019, 02:58:21 PM
Don't wait for the bull to run, don't wait for the bear to go away. If you have some coins with you and you see profits of at least 2% - 3% Sell and move on to another trade. 1% profits per day is 30% in a month. If you are able to be consistent in booking 1% a day, imagine how much you can make in a year. Its better than waiting for the bull run.
1199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which platform is best for Trading? on: February 21, 2019, 02:46:33 PM
I used to trade with Poloniex but after changing their regulations and start KYC, it turned me off and look for another exchange site who want's my business without KYA and I found Bittrex. I found no issuues with Bittrex but what forced me to try Binance is their markets. You have a lot of coins to choose from compared to Poloniex and Bittrex. Bottom line is there is no such thing as best because it depends on your preference.

It is going to be so sick, at the same time bitsler is bringing their version 3 to the market and another place is bringing more games and now we are going to have the most active gambling in the industry for a long time. It is going to be hot and trending and we are going to have so much fun that at the end we will feel either tired or broke Cheesy I can't wait for it, think about it bitsler is already amazing and we are having so much fun and now its going to be even better. One thing I wanted to ask how are the development and testing is going ?

I mean I am sure you are not just going to make something and throw it out there, there must be a lot of testers with your team who are trying to find problems with the game and all that before you actually release it to public, how hard would it be to become one of those testers?

Hey what is this new version of Bitsler all about, there’s no recent post here about it, so where did you read it. Also can you shed more light on which new games are being launched, will they be exclusively found on Bitsler only?. I believe normally the testing is done in house only, to make sure public doesn’t know about the bugs so they can fix them and their image remains intact.
Even if the new version is launched, everyone is still free to test the site and you may get a bounty if you found one. Actually its much better if more users will log in to the site to see how the site will perform even when there's a lot of users are signed in a playing.
