I would suggest for larger shareholders, if you want out of this at least wait the small time frame for the divs.

who cares, take advantage of the emotional dumpers Cheesy...this could also very well be ken dumping shares

Ken - I made two transfers of shares to AMC-TENDER on bitfunder, is including both of them in one email acceptable?

Why is BFX buy side of the orderbook blocked (maybe its just me)? They have always had a fully visible orderbook...

Some asshole filled the whole orderbook with 0.001 bids. BFX should ban him.

Why doesn't Ken fix the website? A teenager could fix this in one hour. How sad.

Ken - I hope you're doing everything in your power to try and find a solution to these issues right now. Talk to your lawyers and find us a legal way to verify our shares. The MSD hasn't issued any actions upon you thus far and you know the investigation is no excuse for letting us not verify our shares (I hope the coding of the site isn't a problem for you). You know our concerns, and the way you have been handling the issue is only leading to more problems seeing as we are still freaking out about shares.

Many are excited about this company, but we need access to our shares ASAP or some will be coming after your assets.

I can promise you we will all STFU and stop contacting people if we can verify our shares and if progress is made in the direction of trading. Not acting fast on this is going to end in pain for everybody

Strap in...  It's going to be awhile.

Does this mean no dividends for at least 4 more years?

email scott.johnson@sos.mo.gov and let him know your concerns on this issue!
I am starting to think it is a good idea to contact the gov and let them know that they are holding us up from getting the shares that we have paid for.

thats what i just did. Try your best to be professional if you do this

Heres a shortened version of my email-

"I am a holder of shares in ActiveMining's Bitcoin farm/profit share. I am a Canadian citizen. I am contacting you because I am concerned for my investment. Although I'm happy with the way the company is running now (products finally shipping and the mining farm being built) the investigation by the MSD is the only thing troubling me. Now that things are finally looking up for this company all I want to do is trade my shares. It's very frustrating being a Canadian citizen and seeing a registered exchange in my country (Havelock) with similar securites trading while our shares are frozen due to an american investigation. In my frustration I would like to point out that the bitcoin world is very fast moving, and it seems as if ACTM/VMC's success is moving faster than the legal system can keep up with. At the time an investigation was filed with your organization many shareholders (including myself) were skeptical of Ken's actions. This is not the case anymore (for most) as Ken is living up to his promises. Ken has stated that we can't verify our shares due to this ongoing investigation, I have heard these things can take years. I'm not sure what I would if our shares were locked up any longer (contacting a lawyer comes to mind but I figured I would contact you directly as this investigation seems to be the cause for my concern). I am very excited for the future of this company but the ongoing investigation of Activemining is leaving a dark cloud on this whole thing"

The Securities Act can have anyone who promotes such a security facing up-to a 1 million dollar fine and 10 years in prison.  That's not for running it, that's for PROMOTING it.  It likely has no bearing on you if you live in the Netherlands somewhere, but if you're in the United States, shut up.  If you want to reach out to the MSD and provide your information, that's up to you.  But don't post or write them letters saying how this is a good thing.  They take that information to mean you are trying to raise the share value of an unregulated security and therefor you are part of the problem.

The MSD has a 5 year limit to bring charges, from the first infraction.

I don't see how this can do us more damage (I also don't live in the states so im not worried about contacting the MSD). All this "co-conspirator" talk certainly sounds scary but they are simply looking for more information to get a better picture of what's going on.

All things considered, it seems like there would be relatively few people to trumpet the cause of ActM/VMC...

All it would take is a few large shareholders to get together to have enough of a percentage to be worth it. What makes you say that? At this point shareholders are being held back from verification and trading because of an ongoing investigation, I would simply like to point out to the MSD that their investigation is hurting us more than its helping.
1192  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 01, 2014, 03:25:57 PM
Whats holding up shares being issued on crypto-trade?

Ostensibly the MSD investigation

As I've said before this is an investigation that will only loop back on itself. I'm confident that nothing will come out of this however a timely resolution may not be in the cards...

What does everyone think of a friendly petition from shareholders to the MSD with the purpose of showing that there's a large group of us that are happy shareholders and that this investigation is in fact the main reason for our worries. Maybe a large outcry (well-worded of course) explaining why this needs to be done ASAP would get our case to the top of the pile?

1193  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 01, 2014, 05:38:40 AM
Welp its all downhill from here boys!  Angry With our hashrate climbing daily and the most competitive mining equipment on the market in stock (as well as assets that magically print money) imminent failure is upon us and curses await the stupid, hopeless shareholders Cheesy

smh...

In reality the only thing left to plague this company is an investigation that just loops back on itself (shareholders are unable to trade because of legal uncertainty, eventually an investigation will lead to this conclusion and things will be made more clear). There are solutions being built everyday to build more secure and legal platforms for micro-ownership and decentralized stock. VMC/ACTM are clearly running a legitimate business at this point and for these legal threats to materialize into anything of substance would be shocking (the pace of the legal system will continue to be outdone by the pace of our success)

An update on my order...
Placed the order 2 weeks ago today, it then took me 2 days to initiate the bank transfer and then presumably 3 days for the funds to land in the US.
I haven't had confirmation that funds were received but my order status is "preparation in progress"
I will let you know more when I know more myself.
Ken how can this be happening?
1195  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 28, 2014, 10:22:07 PM
I was only ok with 100% reinvest because I assumed share trading was around the corner. Now we know an investigation can take 12 months I am sure many people will back me in at least getting 25% - 40% of profit paid out direct as a dividend to our addresses. Many of us would like the dividend now instead of next year.

I am in agreement for 60% - 75% of profits being reinvested however.

Who agrees with me?

Doesnt matter. Ken has already agreed to do 50/50 long ago and that cant change

edit: have these cards been sold?

I hold shares on CT and shares from transfer to AMC-TENDER so I'm in both camps, but I don't think you guys are getting the point... Roll Eyes

I'm not sure why one puts so much energy into fantasizing and telling other people that they're fucked/making constant fun of a situation you're not involved in (perhaps personal insecurity, alpha male syndrome etc.)
I'm assuming none of y'all have shares? the loudest voices here never do
1197  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: April 27, 2014, 04:57:39 PM
Don't be ridiculous.  The shares on CT have nothing to do with your "shares."  Your "shares" aren't trading, and never will.  Saying the shares are yours isn't even technically correct -- you gave them to Ken.  Ken will continue telling you that he's being investigated for securities fraud. The wheels of justice turn slowly you know, and dat's a natural fact.

Lol.

Referring to the shares on CT: The sentiment of the shareholders who can actually trade is the best its been since those shares were put on the market and it's only going to get better with sales and farm growth.

Once 170 TH/s  are online a fair valuation will be at least 0.001 per share, not including potential hardware sales (I'm not expecting profits to be factored in for some time)

please stop with the FUD, you are spreading FUD (although it is your job Wink)

  • Everyone You regret investing.
  • All You want out.

Have you checked the shares on CT recently?
anyone holding shares on there hasn't been selling it down (used to happen all the time after news) but buyers have started to buy into the sell walls this week despite everyone in the threads bitching. They know they won't be getting shares for cheap when the rest start trading...a fat div will ensure this (even a small one will provide some support for the dumps).

The sentiment of the shareholders who can actually trade is the best its been since those shares were put on the market and it's only going to get better with sales and farm growth, please stop with the FUD...
