I don't know if it's more metaverse connected with games or games with metaverse, but in my opinion metavere is very much connected with gaming world. In my opinion, it is this industry that will develop the best in the near future, so in my opinion it is very profitable to invest in it and of course I also do it myself.

Now I invest in https://lunaverse.io/

From what I can see, many people say that it is the professionalism of customer service, i.e. moderators and support agents, that is the most important. Your example perfectly shows how important it is to treat gamblers seriously and, above all, with respect. I also believe that this is what the success of the casino depends on and whether I will use it myself.

Well said. Customer service is crucial to the image of any casino, whether known or not. By providing good customer service, they also look after their relationship with their players, while also focusing on the betterment of their services through looking on customers’ complaints and feedbacks. Consequently, if the support system of the casino is bad, then they would most likely lose players and would also result being in a not so good position among the others.

It just confirms that in the gambling industry, quality is more important than quantity. Gambling involves very strong emotions that players often cannot deal with. That is why the professionalism of customer service depends on how they can deal with such people. If they can not handle it, there are scandals and problems that make the casino lose its reputation. Such situations turn off everyone.

The best gamblers I know are constantly vigilant and always evaluate the balance between losses and gains.

If someone does not control his budget, it means he have lost control of what he do. We always have to determine how much money we can lose in order not to get into trouble. I think it is not just the best gamblers, but everyone should do it, because if we don't do that, we can easily get addicted and get into debt.

Complete newbie to cryptocurrency Teaching old dog new trick for sure  Huh
Do not want to use credit card but use as I do with my bank with debit card
and pay bills through bill pay Than pay check direct deposit ?

If you are new to crypto then keep in mind that its not the shortcut to becoming rich overnight. It requires skills and knowledge to earn profit. As a newbie never jump with huge capital in the market rather then start with as much as you can afford to lose. lastly, HODL is the key to success here not day trading.

I am not an expert in sports gambling and betting but I enjoy reading these topics and in fact many forum users share useful information about upcoming games or publish their analytical views which are much more interesting to read than articles on sports websites.

I too just come to see the threads here. Its really informative to read threads here. I am not in sports gambling since I lose huge money in that domain. Cricket is my favorite game and i love reading what UmerIdrees and Sithara007 write. I suggest better go for something that involves solving problem like poker game.

After what they have been thru last time, they know already the steps that they need to take to contain this event.
As we are still in pandemic owed to this new variant, I believe, they are more prepared this time.
Let's say, there will be no live audience in this upcoming winter olympics, but I think the host nation will have less trouble this time.
In terms of handling the athletes and the containment of the spread of the virus.
Let us see if they will not suspend or delay this event and pursue the scheduled dates.

I think we must learn to live with covid19 rather then halting all together everything. Better approach is to watch this Olympics at home, dont try to rik your life and others. AFAIK, China has not allowed spectators to come and see the game. Only chinese people will be allowed to see the game.

Without giving it a second thought my best moment(s) are Ashes. Before start of the series everyone was predictig an easy win for England but its Australia who tuned the table. If I have to specify a moment then its Scott Boland spell in third test that thrashed England batting line up. Its perhaps best spell I have seen so far.

Current Ashes was no doubt full of surprises. Nobody predicted that England will be bowled out like that in first three test matches. Now the point is whether or not Australia will be able to whitewash England or not? In my view England will defiantly come back stronger and avoid whitewash.

nothing going in England way. Ben stokes is complete failure so far. there new opener haseeb is a complete failure. If bowlers do some job English batsman completely ruin there efforts. Australia will easily made it 5-0 very easily, with current squad there is little chance for England to win any match.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 03, 2022, 07:10:18 PM

Actually cricket is not a new sport to many of the European and African nations. When Jagmohan Dalmiya was the president of the ICC (1990s), he undertook several programs to expand the popularity of cricket outside the test playing nations and as a result there were close to 100 nations with their own cricket teams by the year 2000 (with native players). Then two things happened - first the Srinivasan/Pawar mafia got control of the ICC, and then the eligibility criteria was changed. And this destroyed whatever progress that was achieved by Dalmiya in the 90s.

I guess 90 era was when ICC was in control of England and Aus and after 2000 India join in and now India is biggest player in controlling ICC. There is no future of cricket in spreading to other countries, it will remain limited to these few countries only. ICC is now under big 3 tight control and they will rule it for coming decade.

Look like now kohli is going to have his next 100+ at home due to injury. KL Rahul first time having captain batch look like not good for him as team fail to do good performance I am feeling even Rahane is not performing but still good in captaincy, so he deserves this spot for this match.

Kohli is having toughest time of his career. He is removed from captaincy and now under pressure not able to score runs. I think it will be a matter of time after which he will regain his form and start performing well again. Can anyone tell how much tests he has played in last 2 years?

I think row between Ganguly and Kohli. They both have played there part and its the Indian cricket who has to suffer because of this conflict. BCCI did wrong by removing there ODI and T20 captain in such manner. Kohli is not performing, its because of this pressure or he is not interested in playing?
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 03, 2022, 07:03:32 PM
Rahane could not play well. The team always expects more from a player like him. However, Kohli was replaced by Hanuman Bihari. His performance was not as expected. But they will probably bat more responsibly in the second innings

Hanuma Vihari, not Hanuman Bihari.

A lot of controversy still surrounds the omission of Kohli. During the first test at Centurion, he had scores of 35 and 18. The official version (as given by KL Rahul before the toss) is that Kohli had to sit out due to an upper back spasm. I am a bit doubtful about this entire episode and strongly suspect that he just refused to play, given his recent stormy relations with the BCCI officials. In the end, India struggled to take their total to 200 plus and was able to do so only due to some good hits from Ashwin towards the end.

You may be right. It may be other way round that its BCCI who removed kohli from squad as they too not in favor of kohli. One thing is very clear from his removal that indian batting line up heavily rely on him. Things will get clear in next few matches that in row of Kohli and BCCI who is the winner.

As mentioned above, there are many similar platforms already that are trying to compete in your chosen field.
Do you have investors or dev funds that can push thru your developments without the need of any crowdsourcing?
Because the usual problem is that most projects are relying on public sale.
And once they can't get their financial targets, the project is either abandoned or with very slow progress of achieving their objectives.

I think apart from crowd funding/ Public sale every project must try to reach investors directly, and try to convince them for investment. There are so many legitimate projects getting not much attention just because investors are afraid of crypto scam. You are right that ICOs must not solely rely on public sale.

Do you ask about whether Chinese ice hockey team is comming or whole Chinise Olympic deligation?

If you search your question on the page you have posted, you would find that “they are comming”. But they will be an easy 3 points for every their opponent. Personally, I would allow them or any team to play, no matter how good or bad they are. Their opponent can test different tactics and combinations against such team, instead of testing against a strong opponent or in play-offs. One disadvantage of such games - strong team players might get an injury in a match that does not affect anything.

Its a good move to allow China to join the ice hockey campaign. Its allowed to play mainly because of the pressure of being a hosting nation. This way more people from china will come to see the game which will make them interesting. Since they are in group of USA, Canada and Germany. I would say match b/w USA and China will be interesting though USA will win easily.

So year 2021 is going to end in few hours and we have done with one more cricketing year. Can you share what's your best cricketing moment in 2021? I start with mine, I liked T20 WC the most this year and Aussies play throughout the tournament. My cricketing moment was Australia winning the T20 WC for the first time.

Mine was the 24 Oct 2021 match between India and Pakistan where Pakistan completely outclassed Indian team. Though I placed bet on India, since they are unbeaten in ICC WC against Pakistan I lost the bet unfortunately. Batting of Babar and Rizwan was lovely to see. Hope we will see such matches more in 2022 also.

ICC never been ideal Authority even now doing good for cricket into Olympics because they need some better planning and development from grassroots in many countries those are very good for cricket and can bring some very skills and quality players in future.

But, sadly they never use funds in this way, so we are losing many good countries in bad way like Kenya is the worst example for this, and now they have some good support for countries from where we never have any player like the UAE, Oman and Kuwait these are dead countries for quality and skill players, but sadly they are not understanding and still doing things which are never been favorable for game and fans.

You are so right, Kenya was WC semi finalist in 2003 and they are no where to be seen in last decade. Same is going on with Zim and very soon we will lose a test playing team. Gulf countries just make fun of cricket by making a national team that has all players imported from south Asia. ICC has no objection, since they are gambling hub.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 01, 2022, 08:11:11 AM

If the future of Sri Lankan cricket is looking bad... then what do you say about that of teams like Pakistan and Bangladesh? At least Sri Lanka managed to reach the finals. But the one sided nature of matches is a cause for worry. The gap between pig-3 (India in this case) and the rest is widening. Cricket is dying outside the tier-1 test nations. And even among the lower ranking test nations, the future is not looking very bright. I won't be surprised if India ends up like the US in basketball, in 5-10 years from now.

Nobody knows the future, we haven't predicted the Indian team will undergo such tough times toward last quarter of 2021. SL team is undergoing tough times because 4 of there key players left at the same time. Cricket is still one of the most popular game in SL and very soon we will see quality players joining in.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 01, 2022, 08:06:28 AM

They might get only cancelled if any of the players or the members of the squad becomes positive. For now, everything is going smooth and I hope it remains like this only. IPL would have to be postponed once again because the daily positivity rate has started rising in India and by February end it will peak according to a report. If that is the case then it would be hard for BCCI to conduct IPL between March till June.

Cricket should learn how to live with covid. AFAIK covid is going no where and there is realization among boards that cricket should go on with precautionary measures. All three test series right now are in progress and there is no news of cancelation. Even if some player caught with covid, he must be replaced rather then canceling the series.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 30, 2021, 04:46:11 PM

Right now going with 24 teams even into T20 league is not possible for ICC because we have no quality teams around the globe for this like many other Associations have like FIFA, FIH and FIBA. We are currently lacking of infrastructure and many other things in many countries but with the few near formats hopefully in near future we will be able to have some better results. Recently we have some good attraction in short formats even now Olympics is also in sight of ICC for more exposure of this game which is very good.

Currently, I want ICC considers with 16 teams into Twenty/20, 12 teams into ODI and just 8 in into WTC with others on table but not for points because of very low quality.

There is an interesting move by ICC for inclusion of cricket in Olympics, ICC to make $3 million bid for cricket's inclusion in 2028 Olympics. We may see interest of more countries in cricket if it make its way to Olympics.
16 teams in T20 WC is also a big challenge, if ICC can include 3 or 4 more associate teams in next T20 WC that have good level it will be a big success.
