1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 02, 2024, 07:41:47 PM
I know for sure that if we take periodic account of how many times that we gamble, maybe weekly, monthly or yearly, we'll find out that the loses are far greater than the winnings, so I sometimes wonder how we can be indulging in something that we lose far more than we gain, in the name of having fun. I know that it's human nature to want to conquer, defeat, control and be the leader, yet we go into gambling knowing that the system doesn't give us a fair advantage of achieving these aims, yet we're happy to go back and likely be defeated again.

Perhaps deep down in our conscience, somewhere that we don't like to listen to, it still tells us the truth that the reason why we're going to gamble is to hopefully win money, not really to have fun.

I know that it's said that you should gamble the amount that you can afford to loose, but will you call it a true fun when you know that there's a higher probability of losing your bet?

Well, actually I really understand what you said in this thread. however, it seems there is a different meaning and essence between me and you. first of all, I want to say first, what I said does not mean I am comparing. so, please understand. the title of your thread, is really very interesting to me. I will quote him, "Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves?". there is a big question that you seem to be struggling with, especially regarding gambling and the idea of having fun. at this point, many people actually have the same questions as you think. however, both you, me, we, have different definitions regarding what gambling is. first, what does pleasure mean to you? so, what does this have to do with the gambling you do? you can answer it, but keep your answer to yourself. for me, pleasure has a broad meaning depending on how I respond to it and condition it to the situation and conditions. now, what is gambling to you? for me, gambling is expensive entertainment and contains a lot of risk. then, what allows us to have fun and get pleasure. yeah, the answer depends on each individual.

So you see, the idea of having fun doesn't have to be what you mean in the title of this thread and neither does what you say in this post. before we gamble, either you or I, must first spend capital as a medium for playing and betting. at this point, you are willing and aware to do it. the question is, are you thinking about something bad instead of having fun? Of course it's not like that. besides, it doesn't mean that with the idea of having fun we don't expect to win. as you said, even if you say it seems like we are lying to ourselves and this is where the difference lies. pleasure doesn't have to be winning, even in situations where you lose, you can learn lessons in the form of pleasure. for example, I bet on Arsenal "football" a team that is my favorite. then, the fact is that Arsenal lost the match.  meaning, I also lost. however, because Arsenal played the game very well, neatly and impressively, I enjoyed it even though they lost. even though I lost, psychologically I got the game I wanted and the results from the bets I made. and this, is a form of pleasure. so each gambler can define his own pleasure, and it depends on how he reacts to it. so, we don't need to lie to ourselves. regarding winning or losing, isn't that part of the risk of gambling? well, enjoy it according to your own version.

Personal perceptions matter in the gambling niche. It depends on the way we envisioned gambling before venturing into it, but it's rare to find a new gambler who didn't have at the back of his mind to win money while gambling. It was recently I read in a book that gambling is meant to be for fun. Just the same way we pay to play in a Park, gambling can give us the same pleasure. Before, then gambling was a way of making money, in my perspective. Lots of people are still on that same level of seeing gambling as a means of making money, and when they don't win, it gets them sad and pushes the player to try again immediately. Those who know or use gambling as a form of gaining fun, wouldn't figure out that other people still think of making money in gambling. Op could be among the gamblers who wouldn't accept gambling as a fun game. Because he's losing money while gambling.

However, truthfully, losing money is not always fun, especially when we lose lots of it. Hence gamblers who wish to make fun through gambling have one common peculiar characteristic, staking what they'll be able to lose and not bother about it. Unlike those seeking money, greed leads them to stake lots of money, and they end up being sad in the process of losing all of their money. So, as you said, it's for the gambler to choose sides, whether fun or sad after losing money. However, the first mentioned is better for our mental health. No need to be sad over some things we can't control. It's also a good reason gamblers shouldn't chase money, rather gamblers should be learning and taking pleasure from the outcomes of their decisions. Prioritizing money alone, as a factor of joy in gambling, can only yield a small amount of happiness in the life of the gambler. Because the losses keep coming more than the win. If Op can spend the amount he's able to lose without feeling sad, gambling wouldn't be a hassle to him.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 02, 2024, 07:15:03 PM
<snip>
You must be very aware of things When they are about the game , we , above all , are thinking people , who know that there is Only good and bad , we must Know that a person who is of legal Age is Responsible , Assumes his risks and is able to take Responsibility and Assume whatever type of act they do because that is what it means to be an Adult , we can only continue doing things that we are not and then blame Someone else for the fact that we can see Certain Behaviors in the wings in local casinos , and if we decide to be this way or to Improve some type of Game , we can do it and if it doesn't work, we cannot blame that person for wanting to have done it, we are Responsible for our actions, the fact that someone has shown us the casino and that We have become addicted , it is not that people's fault, it is our fault for having Enough self-control , that is something we must always focus on to get things done.

When we are in a physical casino, it is easier for us to do Certain things , Sometimes we let ourselves be carried away by Emotions , sometimes by Impulses , which can make us lose , even lose more than win, sometimes there are people who make themselves known and cannot give gaming Advice to do something in particular and not let ourselves win, which happens many times , and when we are in important games, we can receive advice from others and if that Advice leads us to lose, the fault is not the person who told us. But of ourselves for having accepted such advice and that is what should be evident here and Everywhere , we must be Responsible in everything, from the first moment we enter until we leave the caisno, we are responsible for spending each dollar that we have available there, in each game session we must learn and accept our mistakes and pay our Consequences , when a bad map comes , certain things must be Applied to get out of it and not lose anymore , in my case it is not playing anymore.

Recently giving out advice to gamblers in the casino only gets difficult because it may not work in favor of the gambler. Hence it's better not to bother ourselves with some other person's actions. They must take the part that best suits them, to enable the player to stay responsible for any results following his predictions. Things only get very abstract, as gamblers when we lose out on some other person's advice. I don't see the reason why people can't gamble on their own. Some believe that the predictions from experts are the best. Not knowing that it's no different from what they've got. The gambler's prediction could be better than the expert's own. Somehow I'd say the gambler indeed lost his self-control, which could get abnormal in the process of gambling. The gambler now gets easily carried away and abides by any advice flying on the air. In the physical casino, most times the experts or professionals try to help other gamblers, especially in slots.

But, it's not a must and the few who follow the instruction of the professional are doing it on their own will. This means that he's not meant to get sad over the results he'd get from the machine. Having people around us while gambling could be fun, especially the experts, but we are expected to be conscious of our money, as it may not matter who made the prediction. What is of most importance is, not losing more than we have arranged for, which could be bad on the gambler's end. The regrets or blame as I said earlier, comes as a result of losing too much money, and the gambler is now sad about his mistakes. Instead of accepting his loss, he then looks for someone else who was with him in the casino, to blame. They forget that with or without the advice, the gambler will lose more than he'd win for the day. So, the gambler shouldn't blame anybody not even himself. There is more to learn from the money lost while gambling.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: January 01, 2024, 10:11:57 AM
well, this is what most gamblers out there are afraid of when betting at the poker table but all the gamblers dont know that one of the gamblers is the casino owner and this makes a bad thought if other gamblers find out while the gambling owner always wins even though not cheating, but still the minds of gamblers will think that the casino owner is cheating.

therefore, it is very rare for me to see gambling owners gambling in their own casinos because on the one hand, casino owners maintain the reputation of their casinos and avoid the danger of crimes that could threaten them because gambling owners have a lot of money. on the one hand, sometimes gambling addicts can go crazy and commit crimes against casino owners.
so it would actually be better if the casino owner did not participate in betting in his own casino rather than his reputation being damaged and becoming a very bad conflict in the long run.
They really can do that but I don't think that casino owners will ever cheat their customers/players even more because they're already making money out of them anyway. And in poker, the people that knows the owner will definitely be not playing with them on the table because as you've said they might've the advantage but I just like to think that casino owners aren't like that and that they don't like the idea of taking advantage of other players when they're already making money. Also, it's a bit weird that they have the time to waste gambling or even betting at their own places.
One of the advantages a casino owners have is that they already knows the odds that played all the time, already they have specialists that deals on the odds and the odds specialists are not allowed to play because they know what odds that played and the one that get lost.
I will like to bet with a casino owner because as he already knows the odds which means anyone he plays will come and as he's playing I will also bet on that same odds too.
Some times the casino owner game might cut but there is always a possibility that his winning will be higher than his losing.

Gambling for a casino boss in his casino wouldn't be fun anymore since he's got the information about how the machine is being coded. Hence he's not doing himself any favor as a gambler to gamble in his casino. He's wasting the time and fun he's meant to achieve through gambling. I'd prefer that a casino owner visits other rich men who have some gambling cliques and participate in games with them, which is mainly the way it should be for the casino boss. Imagine winning and the money he won is his, no addition no subtraction. That wouldn't be fun for anybody. Consider being in his shoes, using your product should be considered no profits. What these men look for, is profitable means of maximizing the success of the casino, not just gambling. If he spent his time gambling he wouldn't be able to understand how the house is operating. However, they've got employees to take care of all that, but the presence of the casino boss changes lots of things from happening.

I've not spent time with one, but have watched them in movies, they are mainly in their office settling some disputes. Lots of disputes come out in casinos, especially offline casinos. Hence the owner would have lots of underlying problems he'll need to resolve to save the future of his business. He wouldn't have such a luxury of gambling. If he's into gambling or addicted to gambling, such a person wouldn't be able to make a competent casino boss. The business could be in trouble, but the boss wouldn't show concern about the dispute. Some of the casinos that run out of money or don't have enough money to pay their customers may have been owned by an incompetent owner, who may have squandered his time on other addictions, which takes up his money which would have been used in running the casino business. In a nutshell, a casino owner gambles, yes, but not like we would think that he does. His seat as the CEO of a casino is so hot that he can't sit down
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 01, 2024, 09:47:31 AM
That already enters the field of abuse, but the fact of following advice that others give us while we play and lose is not the fault of others, we have to be mature with our decisions and do not blame anyone for our decisions, that is something that We have to accept and not blame others, it is our responsibility above all, it is something that we have to do with all possible maturity.

Sometimes there are also gamblers who really think like children so they can't act maturely when someone gives advice on betting. Still, we are the ones who are responsible for the decision to bet with bets that we trust, if we trust someone for the bets that we make, we should it is our own responsibility, not someone else's fault.

Everyone has the right to give advice, we also have the right to determine every bet we place, so when you choose to follow other people's advice, you should not vent your anger and emotions at other people because it is not their fault but our own fault for not being too confident. by our own choice. I think there is a mistake in this way of thinking, we should not scold anyone because of our own mistakes, especially if we have to bring that emotion and anger into our household, where our family, who don't know anything but are affected by our anger, blame them for something they don't know. they do.

Gamblers differ and it's a matter of orientation. Not every gambler has similar ideas to anyone else. We all had this beginning winning syndrome. For instance, when I first saw a friend cash in from his gambling app, my idea of gambling mainly was to make money and I thought of multiple means of maximizing my wins. Some other people who don't read about the effects of gambling on the brain and how it could be detrimental to the life of the gambler may as well follow the advice of other players who claim to be experts or have better techniques that guarantee winning. Some of these challenges have led some gamblers to lose lots of money in gambling without holding anybody accountable for their mistakes. Hence they'll fall back in regret to blame the people who had given them a fair share of gambling prediction that led to their anxiety. For gamblers who don't take responsibility for their actions, it only gets harder to escape gambling addiction.

The few complaints I've read in this forum about people who blame others for pushing them to gamble show that addicts always blame others for their mistakes. As if, when left alone to make a decision, they wouldn't make the worst decision of all time. Those who scold people, who don't have business relating to gambling, for being the cause of their problem are undergoing a severe level of gambling addiction, which when not attended to would make addiction so difficult for the person to get healed. Problems like what Op shared are not conducive for anybody to behave in that way, all because of gambling. The person wasn't present or didn't contribute to the financial troubles of the boy and his mother. These things are so abnormal that, we can't fold our hands and watch people make silly mistakes due to gambling. Addicts forget that accepting responsibility for the problem they're into would help them heal faster, than blaming others. That means sooner, they'll go back to gambling believing that all the damages it cost them in the past wasn't their fault.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: January 01, 2024, 09:16:42 AM
In a family where the husband gambles alongside the wife, there is no doubt that people may think of their children as future gamblers. Such perspectives aren't wrong, neither is it a threat to the future life of the children. The most crucial duty is the act of management; kids, family, money, food, bills, etc. These few utilities shouldn't compound to become a problem in any family. Both gamblers must be able to instruct their children on what to do at a specific time and monitor their internet access. Recommending a keylogger installed on the devices or gadgets of the kids would be important. So that the parent would be able to observe any single search the child is inputting on his system. Children are very skillful and fast at adapting to new technologies, hence parents must act as adults too, by staying extra hours in researching for means to stay ahead of their children. The kids we own are our responsibility, they should be grown in a way that pleases us, and if one is found misbehaving, the parents must caution the child to stop. Or be punished. What kind of punishment is effective in changing a change?

In previous years, our parents were used to seizing our gadgets or maybe restricting us from going to participating in games we love like football, basketball, etc. Those moves weren't effective, in my response, because at some point they weren't able to keep up with the pace and got tired, hence the child continued with his bad habit. Punishing a child could be done in different ways. When I want to change a child, I don't buy them what  I bought for others as a punishment. That child would have a rethink or sometimes cry over it. Such things leave a mark on the child that lets him remember that whenever s/he misbehaves his parents won't buy him gifts when they buy for his siblings. Then that child would begin to shape his ways, to be eligible for the next gift. I've used this method to get most children close to me, interested in mathematics and they hardly fail on doing their maths assignments. Parents can as well use this to caution a child that feels the urge to gamble as a minor.
Parents must admit that their children can use their devices better than their parents, so parents must be wise about their use. Parents need to give their children an understanding of what they can and cannot do with their devices so that their children will not try to do something that could put them at risk. There are many ways that every parent can do this, but this requires learning from parents to know what needs to be done. Children are the responsibility of parents. It cannot be denied, so no matter how busy parents are, they must still be able to find time to accompany their children and not leave them alone to use their devices. Nowadays, many children have fallen into things that are not right, so parents need hard work so that their children can get back on the right track. For this reason, if parents have provided guidance and supervision since their children were at an early age, parents will have no difficulty in providing an understanding of something so that their children will understand more quickly.

Confiscating children's devices because they don't want to comply with their parents' wishes is not a solution. These children want to be understood by their parents, so they ask for attention from their parents so they can use their devices when they are free. Maybe parents can make a schedule for when their children are allowed to use their devices, and after that, their children have to put down their devices and do other activities so that they don't get addicted to using them. Nowadays, children are more busy with their devices than interacting socially with other people, especially their parents and siblings. And if they will need clarification if they don't get an internet connection, they will do many things to get an internet connection. Parents need to worry about this because if left unchecked, their children can fall into negative habits that can cause problems for them and their parents.

The new generation of computer human wares are so connected to the computer more than the hardware are connected to the computer Grin Kids are growing up faster and operates gadgets better than the grown ups or adults. Sometimes I wonder how they do it or learn how to operate phones and laptops, without a mentor. It's been a thing of surprise for the older generation, but we all need to regulate and moderate how the children are to use their gadgets not to fall into the hands of bad actor or get addicted to screen. Which affects the brain similarly like the gambling addiction, and if a child is not moderated while growing up, if they ever get to learn about gambling, it'll be easier to be addicted in the process, because they are, already, addicted to screen. Many parents off the general wifi for the homes at a specific time to make sure the children don't access the internet.

But, due too offline games, the child would spend more time on the phone, playing games or move ahead to use the TV, these things were regulated during our days, when to watch the Television. Therefore, it's good to take the phone from them for a while and give them access someother times, so that they have enough time to read their books. Without any distraction. However, some kids would want to research using their Ipad, but I don't see it as a better alternative for young people to use those devices for assignment, because they may not resist a single notification from their browser or the game app they enjoy playing. The parents supervision on issues like that are required to help a better communication between parents and their children. As these days the phone are now taking over the roles of the parents in the society. Kids no longer bother asking their parents some questions bothering them. Most times I don't blame the kids, as few parents would yell back to the child, " Google It"

1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: January 01, 2024, 08:50:03 AM
The new year is here and we all are happy to say that gambling was quite fun in the previous year. Disputes came and were settled in the forum and the gambling section has been quite busy for both new and existing members. Hence this year would be something bigger than the previous year, our winning and jackpots would get to us as planned. What the new year resolution would be is mainly focused on self-control and understanding my actions in the gambling journey. Not to mismanage my options and also to stay on the winning aspect of the game. At least learning each day from the mistakes gambling could offer, losses and wins would matter so much in the new year, as a catalyst to help easy learning. As a gambler no need to chase losses or have in mind to earn more money by just staking games in gambling. Participating in some ways to help newbies not to get addicted is among the ways I could be of help to the gambling community. Since the newbies are coming in each day, the new year would get more gamblers who would want to earn huge amounts in gambling.

The year would be a time I'd find time in any channel possible to discuss responsible gambling and how to escape gambling addiction. The right gambling strategies and the importance of gambling would be my major topic across the internet to help get some awareness that gambling is not just a bad actor in society. People can easily learn through it, and the newbies are expected not to think of the bad side of gambling alone. We all need to follow this route this new year, to save lots of gamblers from getting addicted. Instead, they can learn the process, self-control, money management, risk management, and critical thinking, in gambling. And apply them in the field they find themselves, be it the business world or the cooperate world. The skills are needed and facilitate career success for the gambler. Hence he'd be attentive to his gambling actions and offer better perspectives to people on how gambling works.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: January 01, 2024, 08:30:01 AM
I don't know if this is only happening in my area or is a general trend, hence the reason I created this post. Let's know what people think about gamblers and how well the gambling business is faring in your area.

The gambling business is flourishing in our country because it is easy to get a license our government is encouraging it as long as the gambling operators are compliant so we have horse racing, offline cockfighting, and other forms of gambling and our government is also promoting betting on Lottery because they are the one running it.
And the people's perception of a gambler, as long as you are good and managing how you gamble and you don't look poor because of gambling, people will just ignore that you are a gambler, in a third-world country your social status is very important.
If you're poor and you're playing in online or offline casinos people think you are miserable, and if you're rich and you're betting on any of both these platforms people think you are lucky and you're winning.

That means people don't generalize anymore about gamblers and their behavior. They are beginning to be educated on the differences between some gamblers, as some can't handle money while gambling. While others are organized and still controlling their gambling actions. It's mainly a thing of options and people need to figure out certain actions in a gambler's life. Society has gone a long way and the views of some things are no longer as it was in the past. Because of the availability of technology research has been made very simple. The social status of people is a determinant of what a person does with their life. As you said, it's not just society that would have a bad response to a person who doesn't take care of himself due to gambling, the gambling community doesn't advise it either. If a person can care for themselves while gambling the people around him would have nothing to say regarding such a person.

Sometimes only people who know about the person's gambling habit can add some responses about the person in terms of gambling. It's not easy to identify a gambler in today's world, where gadgets are being used for gambling. Unlike in the past when gamblers used to have a lottery point for game booking. It was simpler for the neighborhood to add their contribution to the person's inability to control his actions. These days there are multiple factors people around us can wonder about when we behave strangely or run out of funding, most times gambling is the last on the list. I'd say that the perspective of people about gambling has changed so fast that, gamblers are no longer the subject of discussion. I hardly have heard of conversations of people on gamblers, it's mainly raised if the gambler has won or lost a significant amount that's too big to change his financial status. And such discussion doesn't stay for long, till it quenches like fire.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: January 01, 2024, 08:00:25 AM
Anyone who has been in a relationship would understand that lying can be crucial in saving the relationship status from becoming tiring. Because sometimes telling the truth may end the relationship prematurely. But the truth is very good, as we don't know how good it could be to the next person's ear. As you said, one lie leads to another, which wouldn't be nice for the spouses. And one day the truth would be revealed thereby putting everything to an end. Hence, the gambler must stay truthful, if he chooses not to gamble when the wife is at home. In many occurrences, not all spouses would get sad at the truth about the gambler's habit. Provided that he's not toxic and maintains a responsible lifestyle, pays bills, takes care of the children, and cares for the spouse. Only a few people who don't like gambling would complain about the man's habit.

Those type of people has no good experience with gamblers and have seen lots of addicted gamblers misbehave. Hence, they'll think their gambling husband will one day act like an addicted person. In a family like that, it's supper smart that the man says the truth even before marrying the woman. Because asking questions matters in every relationship. Whatever habit we have, asking questions to know the reaction of the person towards people with such attitude matters a lot. It's a lifelong union and the better we handle it, the more productive we'll get. One must be careful in matters like marriage not to fail in the process. As it'll demoralize both spouse's life and their productivity could be affected too, depending on how strong emotionally they are. Instead of having an emotional problem the gambler needs to open up before the marriage, to know whether to continue the marriage or not. Depending on the other person's reaction.
That's because there are no good outcomes if someone lies, even if it's not for the relationship with their partner but someone else they don't know. They will not be able to understand that another lie will cover one lie, and it will be like that if they do not realize their mistakes and start telling the truth. Their relationship with their partner will also not be harmonious, and small fights between them can become big time. Everything is triggered by lies that have often been told, and if this is known to their children, they may also follow what their parents do because these children are perfect imitators. And yes, when the truth is revealed, they can't do anything, but they don't realize that it has broken their partner's heart and cannot be repaired, and the only way is for them to separate rather than there be another lie that they will do again. His partner does not want to be lied to again and would prefer to live apart from him.

In a family, honesty is very important because, after all they go through daily with their partner, they cannot hide any lies, even small lies. If the partner is very observant, they will know if something is abnormal and ask about it. If we are lying, they will also know right away. It's difficult to lie, so instead of lying, it's better to say it honestly and ask your partner for their opinion or help on how best to do it. This will create a more meaningful discussion between them so that the problems they face can be resolved well, and there is no need for lies between them because the gambler wants to tell the truth. The partner will appreciate it, and they will help the gambler to solve the problem. This is about how the gambler is willing, to tell the truth about what they have been through and how they are willing to ask their partner for help if they need help solving the problem.

Indeed such things as family problem affects the emotional intelligence of the kids, growing up. A home where both parents are not in harmony would raise kids who don't value love and kindness. It's crucial to help the growth of the younger generation by complying with the terms of our partners to maintain a happy home. Being in constant discussion with one another and asking questions helps a long way. We all need help in some part where perfection can't be assured. It's the duty of the next person not to condemn because it won't solve a single thing or problem. Marriage is more like a daily therapy session if one party is not comfortable with a gambler's habit. S/he is not in the right position to get sad, bossy, or argue over who stops or not. The gambler may not be happy and would end up becoming compulsive in the process, or get sad over his partner's behavior towards him and look for something else to do, or avoid discussion because he'd think the person will still circle back to gambling.

The right option as usual is engaging in a contribution that yields a peaceful solution. Adding meaningful responses can make the gambler rethink. Whether he's a responsible player or not, some options can make him think of his children and how gambling could be unpredictable, his actions may swing in a direction he won't control, thereby destroying the peace in his family. So, for the sake of the kids, one should do things that will make his spouse sad. And we can't continue to blame each other in a family and expect a good result. One person needs to accept that he's wrong and look for a means to amend his actions. Then given time he can chime into the life of the spouse that he doesn't like and share his contribution on how it could be solved. That's why both parents have to sleep in the same room, to settle their disputes in the absence of the kids. Because some gamblers who don't quit or lie about it, always have in mind that since their wife have an attitude that they don't like, they can continue gambling and their wife have no right to find out about their habit.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 07:27:12 AM
Honestly I was unable to believe this casino prediction expert especially on one thought that if the expert is
actually assured of the predicted game then he shouldn't had demanded for a percentage if the game is won.
There still sounds a probability in there but only those who are desperate about games assurance are liable t be adamant and ignorant to figure what the speech is represented.
Else I expects him to bet the game by himself and make the cashouts all by himself alone without the request of commission (percentage) at when the game is won.

The expert as he claims, has no price to pay in the process, then it's not worth the try. Because he's on the win-win stage of the game. If the gamblers win he's got a share and if they lose no rule is against him. It would have been a better deal if he had to pay the gamblers if his prediction wasn't right. How do you all think someone is an expert, without any proven track record? He just walks up to some grown gamblers to tell them about his gambling capabilities. Those are not super excellent ideas to buy. Assuming the game played as expected and your friends won, he would have taken charge or control of your future games. As you people would need his assistance in-game prediction. Then if he fails the next time, your friends may not accept that he's not a pro, it could sound like a mistake to them, thereby giving him a second chance, until they get used to him for predicting games.

These are strategies used by self-acclaimed gambling experts to gain some loyal gamblers who would depend on them for game prediction. In the long run, he'd be making some funds out of their win. More like he's playing safe while the people he is convinced are taking the risk. They play using his prediction, with their own money and he has a share if his predictions are successful. It could be he has no money to gamble and still wants to participate using other people as a means of trying his luck. Some naive people would follow his prediction, still, if a loss occurs. I don't trust the gambler's choice in my game, it's about a game and how it occurs to my instinct. Only the prediction I have in mind to stake is what would take the money on the bankroll. Whatever any other person is saying is left for them to discuss with me and go, not engaging in any agreement whatsoever with the gambler. Because he has no authority over the results of the game, especially soccer. He's a gambler like myself, nobody knows who's going to be right or wrong.
1190  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 01, 2024, 06:54:23 AM
I hardly have read casino reviews; I don't use any unknown casinos TBH. Bitcointalk always remains the best source of information for me when picking up a casino. Nevertheless, I found gamblingbro.com as the best casino review as they want to give a better insight and real experience to their audience. Take an hour or two to check them out. Since they don't use any affiliate links (I guess), they are unlikely to be biased while writing a review for any casino.
I just had a look at your platform and read one review. TBH, it seems you are just another casino review platform with nothing different or unique information. That's where GamblingBro has some creativity and advantages over other casino review platforms.
This forum is indeed the best place for you to seek off with those informations that we are really that tending to seek off on which it would really be just that be worth because we do see that comments and suggestions or reactions of people out of this forum are really that real and not something biased but of course you should see on a specific user whether he could be trusted or not but in overall when community feedbacks do really give out on the same sentiment then it would be that safe to presume or assuming out that the information is really that legit. This is why im not really that a fan of reading up review sites.
If ever there would really be those review sites then the most common preference that we wanted to see is into those review sites which arent biased and having those good way on reviewing specially in depth review ones into those casinos that they are trying out to feature. People would be finding out to be odd if ever there would really be some shit review.

Lots of gambling disputes have been solved in this forum and people are most thankful for the gambling assistance gotten in bitcointalk. Any member who began reading reviews on the forum wouldn't look out for other review sites, which may delay their complaints or research on a specific casino. The responses in the forum are quite a wide range and members are vast in terms of gambling-related discussions. Review sites only provide some specific information which makes it easier for a reader to understand a casino's TOS. But, I noticed that most review writers don't check the casinos and play games there to make better feedback like how long withdrawal takes and the possibilities of winning on the casino. They only write based on what is written in the casino's terms of service. Which doesn't make review sites interesting than what we could get in the forum. Members who talk about a specific casino, have used it, know its flaws and downside, how long it takes for the term to send a withdrawal, etc. Readers can also read about the previous issues the casino had, and if the gambler's money was later on resolved.

Most of these complaints and inner disputes can't be found on review sites, hence Op could use the opportunity to add on his review sites the functional aspect of the casino. If he's not ready to try out all the casinos before writing a review, then he can check in the forum or other review sites with a discussion page available to know users' complaints on the specific casino. What could lead to a person's money being seized and all that is what attracts readers to a review site, because it's the common problem in most casinos? Hardly have I seen a casino review site, offering in-depth research on a casino, what is all over the site is the outer sketch of the casino. Whether it's been active for long or not, the withdrawal method, customer service, etc. One can use the casino's TOS page to gain better information than what the review writer has on his page. Which shouldn't have been, like that.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 31, 2023, 11:08:43 PM
Doubling your capital is a massive win to me and the amount is big enough for me to apply a very conservative approach. That being said, if I win $200 as profit from $200 capital, I will withdraw 90% of the funds leaving only 10% in my gambling account. From experience, after a major win comes a time when losses become regular.

Many people have the tendency of increasing their stakes when they win big and this make many of them lose the money they won very fast. It is one thing to win and another to actually cash out the winning, this is where the greed level of a gambler is truly tested. Therefore, I made it a habit to always withdraw my money anytime and win and chase them with just 10% of the profits. This way, I will not feel too bad if I lose it. Some very conservative gamblers will even go lower than 10% to ensure they don't lose their winning.
You are thinking too much about winnings and money. Gambling is only for entertainment and you should keep it that way. In order to stop losing too much of your money, you should create a strategy in which every time you place a bet, the amount should be similar. Don't go up, don't go down.
If you have a strict budget and a strict amount that you can use on each bet, it will ensure a long gambling session and you will not run out of money. Also set a rule for gambling certain amount of time with certain amount of games. Do not take gambling as a way of earning. It will lead to emotional decisions and you will lose more than you win.

Taking gambling as a way of earning only leads us to a detrimental lane in our gambling journey. It's crucial to have a strategy that circulates emotional control. We all are aware of the low possibility of winning often in gambling, no need to have big hopes that gambling would offer us winning. What is most necessary is that we participate in gambling and enjoy ourselves for the time being, get a rest, and try again some other times. Withdrawing our funds immediately after winning in gambling could be helpful for the gambler, as he'll spend the money on some other bills and enjoy with family, instead of gambling them away. The strategy of increasing our wager after winning, is not advisable, as it only puts the gambler in a position where he'd lose all the winnings. Endangering his gambling journey, the gambler can get bothered about it and think for long over the lost money. It could also lead to chasing losses. Some would want to earn more in the process and would think that if they don't gamble again or move away their next winning won't get to them.

Winning also moves lots of people to gamble more thereby making mistakes due to not having a settled mind. However, to stay clear from the numerous thoughts of money while gambling, it's important the gambler only focus on the joy he could get in gambling. His strategies should revolve around ways to learn, and get creative in real life. Other than investing all our thoughts in making money through gambling. The gambling should work dearly on his emotions and not get pissed off if because of his gambling results. These things help a gamblers to have strong control over any financial problem that hits them in life. Gambling has a strong connection to our thoughts and emotions, the same way our daily business does to all business people. Hence when gambling is like a practicing ground for the real financial challenges we see each day, we'd be able to control our emotions and make clear decisions about our next move.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The frustrations in loosing a huge bet when your winning was so assured. on: December 31, 2023, 10:35:49 PM
There's no way that your win is assured when the game hasn't ended yet, it's the name of the game after all and there's always a comeback when it comes to sports so definitely no way to be sure of a win until the game's over and yes it's definitely frustrating but I don't think that it should be the thing that's going to make you feel about the game the most, you at least should feel some admiration to the fact that they've defied the odds and they've won, I think that it's awe inspiring and admirable that I wouldn't be mad if it ever happens to me when I bet.

Haha that's right, logically how can they say that the victory is guaranteed if basically the final result has not happened or that means the session has not ended and has not gotten a definite answer whether it wins or loses, in addition to the name gambling is always about luck, No matter where you bet even in sports betting which I admit your skills and knowledge can be very influential but as you say here that it still cannot be denied that it is very possible that the results at the end of the game are different, comebacks will always be able to happen and there have been many examples where the big team was defeated by a weak team even though at the beginning of the match the match was dominated by the big team and that is gambling which always cannot be predicted 100% if the game is not over.

However, if you have decided to engage in gambling then obviously whatever the result you must be able to accept it, victory is a result that is always awaited but defeat is a thing that will definitely happen because that is the risk that exists in gambling, so if you finally lose then you must be able to accept it, simply put if you are ready to win then you must also be ready to lose.

Funny how people would think that winning would be assured because they won some of their games. It's all about luck and if one is accurate in predicting a few matches, he's most likely going to fail in one or two games. The outcome of matches can't be assured, by anybody. Big team can lose their games. People focus mainly on the big team, that's where they make their mistakes and lose upon other positive predictions, which spoils the whole betting slip of the gambler. No need to be mad about the results because the system works differently, and in football, anything can happen. The good thing about gambling is that the gambler will one day win. It's just that gamblers capitalize on losses so much, that they forget about analyzing their next game and preparing accurate predictions on the next match. It's been a recent thread, gamblers are losing more money recently from football matches. Sometimes it sounds like a planned work, or if the teams played in favor of the house to win over the gamblers.

But, don't seem to understand why most sports gamblers would win. Currently, after watching the Arsenal and Fulham match today, I was telling a friend that sports betting is simple to win compared to slot games. Because one could easily gamble on a lot of possibilities other than scores. Corner kicks, throw-ins, red cards, yellow cards, etc, are all betting options available for sports bettors. But most people gamble on win or lose which may be so hard to get correctly. However, it feels bad to lose after assuming that winning is on the corner. Yet, we all take responsibility and move on to the next weekend. As gamblers, nothing is under our control, other than the reactions, money, and time to gamble. The results are beyond us the gamblers, we can only take a lesson from whatever result we see in the gambling process. Whether to stake money on more games or just minimize the amount of matches we stake money.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 31, 2023, 10:04:02 PM
Do you think that rich people don't gamble? If you think so, you are wrong. And do you think that they gamble to win money? Of course not, because they already have a lot of money and they don't need to earn money from gambling as they have enough sources of income already. So, they gamble just for fun and they consider it an activity of the rich as they often tend to choose to do what requires a lot of money so that they can show the world that they are rich and they can afford a very expensive lifestyle.

So, it depends on one's financial ability and their mindset about gambling in general, and that mindset is often a result of the financial capabilities of a person, which means that if you are rich and can afford it, you will just enjoy gambling, but if you are not rich and still gambling, it means you are looking for money through it.

I fully agree wit you, there are rich as there are poor people that enjoy gambling. It doesn't really depend on how much money we have, because gambling is usually possible and small sizes. So, everybody can choose how much money he is willing to bet with. Rich people have the exact same winning chances that we have, the only difference is that their bankroll is larger and they are not at risk to go broke so quickly. I believe the fun and excitement from gambling is not connected to our own personal financial situation.  Also, just visiting a physical casino can be a lot of fun without betting a lot of money ourselves. Usually people like to drink and gamble, because alcohol is either free or cheap at the casinos. The company we are with at the casinos is also important for having a good time. Just because I lost some money doesn't mean the night was a complete failure if I am with my best friends.

Gambling for low rollers can be fun similarly to the high rollers. It's a personal self condition that determines how a gambler feels while gambling. The financial status makes not much difference. Casino is a free place for anybody to enter and play games. Both the wealthy and the middle class can use the machines and enjoy their day. Whoever has the intention of making money through gambling has his reason for that, and ideas like that don't come from the low rollers alone. I prefer using low rollers because gambling knows no rich or poor. Because the results can be big for a low roller and small for a high roller. A poor person can decide to wager a huge amount at once, while a rich person chooses to spend a small amount for a long time. Hence in gambling no need to bother about the rich and the poor. What matters is executing the reason why we are in the casino and going for a rest.

Rich people who want to show off their wealth through gambling also have lots of losses to pay as a price. Even though they've got the properties, too many losses can affect the wealth of the person. The fact a person is rich doesn't guarantee them to waste money and not get worried whether it'll finish or not. Every gambler still has some rethink about his expenses in the casino. Whoever decides to be happy after gambling will do that, and vice versa. Sometimes, people don't only gamble out of their free will, it also reflects the type of experience they had in the workplace or at home that day, and they want to relax and cool off. If the gambler worries about his day, while gambling or has a bad experience he won't be happy while, and after gambling. People's modes are different, rich and poor. So, gambling for fun differs in terms of the feeling of the gambler before he visited the casino.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 31, 2023, 09:36:47 PM
Some people choose to use streamers when they are ready to find their first casino to gamble, but I call this a very bad idea because most streamers are not using the same software that will be available for gamblers when they sign up on the same casino as the streamer.

Many people have walked the same way with streamers, using their same method and also same platform and yet they don't get the same result, in fact the result is nowhere near what the streamer got, I am not saying that all of them are the same but most of them are.

Why not focus on yourself instead? There is no amount of gambling strategy that can make you win money without losing, the only choice left is risking what you can afford to lose, nothing beats this idea in gambling.

Notwithstanding that the streamers use some form of software different from that of their users, as you said, strategies don't work the same way for everyone, still. However, I don't know if gambling streamers use different software, because the casino only makes use of gaming providers. It'll be rare for the casino to have a provider customized for the streamers. There've been lots of rumors about the winning outcomes of streamers, but the casino indeed gives some immunity to the streamers to win more than other people for promotional purposes. How they do it, we may not say that we are sure of the tricks or techniques. What I could figure from it is that the users play with their money, while the streamers use that of the casino to gamble. Which offers them more confidence than the other gamblers. Because other gamblers are conscious of their funds, while the streamer gambles whatever prediction that comes to mind. One party, the streamers is not worried, which boosts the results of any gambler. Don't also forget that the streamers lose huge amounts of money, in the process.

The only difference remains that they get big wins because of the high amount they wager. So, newbies who follow their gambling techniques are not doing the right thing and should blame streamers for their mistakes. Gambling is a person's choice, doing some other person's thing isn't rewarded like the owner. In a nutshell, your last lines conclude it, the player should manage their money and not fall victim to chasing losses. Wherever, they gamble it's important to manage their money, not to regret or have anxiety in the process. If the streamer wagers a huge amount of money, a newbie shouldn't try the same technique. He may not afford to lose such an amount of money. Those are just for promotional purposes and gamblers shouldn't take them seriously. They're more like demos and it's not something to influence the decision of gamblers to act like the streamer.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: December 31, 2023, 09:08:01 PM
Sometimes people are always addicted to playing gambling online and this has made them loss alot of funds, due to always topping up theire casino account with there debit card when they loose. and this usually makes them exhaust all there funds.

While those people playing offline in casino halls play with only the little money they have at hand, and that will reduce the risk of over spending. So now my question is this

Playing online or offline gambling which is more preferable in terms of risk reduction?
In terms of risk reduction I think it still narrows down to the gamblers and not the casino as you are the one to determine how much risk you are willing to take at a time so it definitely not dependent on the casino.be it online or offline as all you have to do is to place the stake with reference to your risk appetite and how much you have got to risk.

The only difference is cash for offline casino and bank card for online transfer and to bridge this difference, you just have to make withdrawals and you can continue with your gambling for offline just like you just have to use your bank card or probably do a transfer to continue with the online gambling so both exposes you to almost the same amount of risk you just have to manage it well enough so you don't go bankrupt by the end of the day. I personally prefer gambling online not for any particular reason but convenience and that's my preference.

It all depends on the gamblers, as you said, because in the long run, a physical casino offers the same games as the online casino. The only difference is the software and hardware components of the two. Hence the effects on the brain are the same, based on the reaction of the gambler towards his wins or losses. Money management for the gamblers in regards to the type of casino, is on the side of the gambler, not a casino. The difference is that online casinos is quite more accessible than physical casinos. And more people now prefer to gamble online as it's close to using a social media platform. It's a generation of tech, and using online casinos is preferable, that's why it's like online casino produces more addicts than physical casinos. A whole number of youths gamble online, hence the offline casino is mainly for the aged men, who are not concerned about using gadgets to gamble. However, the fun of physical casinos is an exception and attracts youths too, but can't be compared to online casinos.

Aside from that, physical casinos in the past when online casinos didn't exist, produced lots of addicted gamblers, who sold all they had just to gamble. Recently, addicted gamblers still visit physical casinos to place bets until they've got nothing left. What's most important is being able to manage the funds and time, regardless of where the gambler visits to stake his games. Somehow Op is right in terms of easy deposit of money online maybe via crypto, especially when the thrill is so high on the gambler that he can't control himself anymore. And a colossal amount of gamblers who use the online platform are glued to this action, due to the easy access. Other than that, online casinos are not safe for minors, as they can easily gamble online. The physical casino frowns against that, which makes it safer than online casinos, in that aspect. In terms of money, they're all the same.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: December 31, 2023, 08:29:21 PM
Society will not have a good perception of gamblers shortly. It's been like that, and most times addicts have helped in skyrocketing the bad name people use on gamblers. Things do change, people no longer concern themselves with the affairs of others in society. Like in a few decades ago. However, young people still benefit from the winning of their friends and celebrate. The fact that adults are getting silent every day, made me wonder about what level of self discipline is the society moving into. Many economic crises in the world, have shifted the thoughts of most people in the society towards the government, and only clamor for a better country. The issue of gamblers is personal, and if one should go around his neighborhood for a survey on people's personal views of gamblers, he'll most likely meet people who don't condone gambling. A few decades ago the response from people all over the streets about gambling was tremendous and enormous. Recently only the affected people complained about how bad gambling has been to the finances of their family, maybe through a son who was a victim of addiction.

Moreover, lots of people would judge gambling from the old knowledge of how people saw gamblers in society. Aside from the adult's parents, the youths don't have any bad publicity about gambling in high numbers. As most of them participate in gambling and have earned some money through it. Although some quite gradually, quit depending on personal experience. Addictions like drugs have also taken the attention of the society around me away from the bad habits of gamblers. They'll prefer that one gambles instead of get addicted to drugs. I think these distractions may have been the reason, other than the reward most people have gotten via gambling. Some of the players would go back broke after living large with money won through gambling. Society wouldn't have a good response to such a transient wealth. Inflation, hardship, low salaries, debts, etc are a bigger concern to society. Only a few care about gamblers. That's why the youths are getting addicted without the knowledge of their parents.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: December 31, 2023, 07:56:50 PM
I do not like thread that are long already. I prefer threads that is not more than 1 page long. I went through a long thread this time, some people are quoting me on the thread about who loses more to gambling and I read some replies only to find out that most people are saying rich people are likely to make money than poor people in gambling.

The probability is the same for those who bet a lot or a little, but there is a very important variant that favors rich people: bonuses for playing.
It is undeniable that casinos value loyal players who spend a lot of money on their sites, which is why they distribute more bonuses for plays... the more time and more money you spend, the more bonuses you receive and this certainly increases your chances of winning. a good victory.

But disregarding that, the odds of you winning are the same with $10 or $1000.

I do not understand what's contradictory about the house being in control and that the rich win more than the poor. They all rely on the fact that the house has some percent available for every gambler. In some cases, the low rollers still have a bonus if they get to a specific amount that qualifies them to gain a bonus. The difference is that the high rollers get there faster than the low rollers. Physical casinos offer comp points to everybody, both high and low rollers. It's not a matter of the money but how fast the rich gets to a level, due to the amount of money they wager. The same applies to the results or outcome of their stake. High rollers win more money than low rollers. In the same way, they lose more money than the low rollers. The house edge only regulates the amount dispensed to gamblers, for the longevity and profitability of the casino. The odds are the same, but the individual gambler needs to get his predictions right to win big. Despite the bonuses the rich gain from gambling, if he's not good it's of no use.

The low roller can win with his small amount and go home happy. While the high rollers end up losing out huge amount of money. Having lots of money has no guarantee of winning in the casino. It's more of the ability to be smart in making good predictions. High rollers who are smart gamblers tend to win bigger amounts, due to the knowledge they've attained from gambling. And understand how to manage their money, not to run out due to the house edge. Most times House Edge favors the high rollers because they'll still be on funds to reach the time of their reward. Some low rollers wouldn't have the funds to continue gambling, and when they come again to gamble, the reward system may have been changed. A house edge that rewards 2% of the person's $200 may not get to a low roller who stopped gambling at $50, especially for the physical casinos. Don't know if the online casinos have the house edge designed per account. Such that whenever he gets to the specific amount as programmed in the computer, the player would win.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: December 31, 2023, 05:59:03 PM
I don't depend on or trust the predictions of other people. He could be an expert in his own money, not in mine, staking the game himself if he trusts himself would have been his best move. Doing my research is preferable, so there won't be any reason to blame the person if the game doesn't play in my favor. Even in the gambling house, the next person would be advising that I play a game in his prediction, but it doesn't sound well to me, since we all are not correct about what could happen in the game. A soothsayer can't say exactly what a match would end up becoming. Those people looking to show their expertise in gambling are not yet prepared to be called an expert. They should be focused on staking games without bothering other people. Some are creating a nuisance already on social media, claiming to have the best predicting skill, and selling their prediction to their followers who don't end up winning. Maybe he wanted to get you people to his side, that is, assuming his prediction was successful, you all would trust him, and he'll begin to demand money for each prediction he shares with the clique.

Everyone claims to be a gambling expert after winning a few more games and they go about advertising themselves to some naive gamblers, who don't trust themselves. Any deal that doesn't have an impact on the expert should be considered a waste of time. He had no price to contribute if the prediction came out void. But, he was prepared to have a share if the game was accurate. It doesn't sound right, and the people who trusted him may have been curious to hear that he's been winning on all of his predictions. Before trying other people's ideas, which is rare, I'd prefer the expert pay me a certain amount of money if it doesn't work out. Because it was never on my calendar to stake games the way he wanted. Things should be done with caution, as it requires money to gamble. Games like 5 minutes throw-in, which seems to be most possible or likely to happen, can still go void. Gambling isn't something to trust on some other person's predictions.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 31, 2023, 05:29:19 PM
Even mathematicians whom have been proven to always have higher chance of winning games don’t win all their their bets they still lose some and win some it’s just that they sometimes win more than an average gambler, so anyone who is depending on gambling for their survival is just making a big mistake as they will always be hit with big disappointment all the time when the game don’t turn out to play in their favour.

Even with the skill accompanied by luck it’s still not enough to make gambling your only source of income and survival, one should see that as a means to earn by chance and not as a primary goal why you gamble for fun the profit is just another added advantage to the game.
Gambling as a main source of income is not a good move, because it's more expensive to keep up with such a career, compared to other means of earning money. I think as gamblers we all need to gamble for fun and learning purposes. The mathematicians in your context, mostly don't gamble for the money. They're working on some of their formulas and how they could be applied to gambling. They could be wagering smaller amounts of money on the casino, just to understand how the mathematician running the house edge was able to code the machines. Losing is also on their end, because the house edge has been set for a reason, which is maximizing profit for the house. If mathematicians were able to win every single time in gambling, we all would run to them to help us gamble. The game is mainly not about winning all the time, the gamblers can only utilize probability formulas to win. Right, the math gurus have some advantage over nonmathematicians, but I'd still insist that our instincts are the real mathematicians when it comes to probability.

I do regret not following my instinct on a particular game. But get over it because the house is under control of the outcomes or results. All these factors made it difficult for people to win gambling with just mere skills. Earning by chance as you said, is a good expectation for any gambler, but sometimes that feeling gets out of hand after the win arrives. No way out of gambling as a career or a means of making profits, except the player stops immediately after the big win. Once they continue, maybe the next day, the gambler would lose it back to the house. Such things only prove my point earlier, that gambling is for learning purposes. Knowing how to manage money when faced with double choices, which one to spend money on, and if it'll be profitable. A lot can be learned through gambling. However, it's not for kids. Smart people make fortunes from the knowledge they've gotten through gambling. It's more like paying for a course on Udemy. This time for money, and risk management. Being able to control ourselves even when faced with a big loss.
You're right; gambling as a primary revenue source is risky yet educational. Your mathematicians are exploring and learning, not gambling. They invest in likelihood, not just money, with their little bets. This is their lab, where losses are as valuable as wins.

Consider instinct's role. Our gut feelings can reveal things that cold calculations cant. We're more than numbers; emotions matter. Not following my instinct has often disappointed me. As you said, the house usually wins. This risk management and decision-making lesson is vital. Gambling teaches us about chance and making decisions under ambiguity, which are lifelong abilities.

Gambling helps with money management, risk evaluation, and self-control. Gambling may teach clever, disciplined people financial fundamentals. The key to any risky business is balancing prospective earnings and losses, a skill useful outside the casino.

All these factors help in a man's life more than money could because skills yield money. Most gamblers think money would make them more wins, but it's a rare situation and it's not worth the risk. In terms of money, we all have other reasons to spend money, and if gambling is among the priorities of the person he could lose them all. Any skill we learn in gambling won't get lost or cause us problem gambling. That's why smart gamblers prefer staking money gradually to extend the time they'll spend gambling, and also learn more about the machine and its results. Irresponsible players look out for the money and care for nothing more, which then affects their reaction when they lose. Instead of calling it a day, they'll prefer to try again the same day and go broke in the process. Such players only need to realize that gambling is an avenue for learning new skills. Which can be implemented in the outside world as a catalyst that improves their productivity. In terms of winning, gambling is about luck, but for learning purposes, it's about strategies.

The decision depends on the gambler to choose. Businessmen who gamble don't focus on the wins or the money they're about to lose or spend in gambling. Their goal is how to be successful in the business they are into, not gambling. The mistake of people who don't discipline themselves in gambling is that they keep aside their business for gambling. Hence, their brain became glued to gambling and the person now becomes compulsive or addicted. In addition, they also fail to listen to their instinct about what they're doing not being acceptable. Imagine putting gambling ahead of the business generating money for the person. I think it's better that a gambler is dependent on his business, and works strides ahead to improve the growth of his business. While gambling he should understand the hidden treasures or lessons gambling teaches us. Whenever he wins in gambling, it's a plus to him, as a bonus to continue the good job. Attentive gamblers who are in for the knowledge tend to win more money through gambling.

One thing leads to another and a well-groomed relationship could blast into a full-grown fire of trouble because of a single match stick of lie that was detected. Yes, the gambler needs to stop to save his family from a long-term problem. Because when we uncomfortably participate in gambling, we may not be reasonable enough like when gamble in a stable state of mind. However, people are not always made complete without some problems. The wife also has some flaws that the gambler needs to live with. Every marriage has a dispute, one way or another, both spouses are not perfectly made. Peace only reigns if one person stays in a house, but once two or more people are under the same roof, at some point, troubles begin to erupt. Solving the gambling trouble doesn't end the problem of the marriage. It's just a temporary dispute, the brain can't leave the gambling slot empty without being occupied with some other leisure activity which the man must use to keep himself busy.

And the part of the woman's brain that wasn't comfortable with gambling would not be comfortable with the activity eating up the man's time, and vice versa. Because the man also has some things he doesn't like about the wife. Hence, in a family spouses need to have a mutual understanding, and help one another in changing or solving their troubles. Gambling responsibly is not a problem or trouble, but it could be a source of dispute in a family. You see the different perspectives that need to be settled, the woman's flaws could be fine in the eyes of people who understand her attitude, but not in the man's senses. For instance, we are the people who can differentiate between when a gambler is in his right mode and when he's addicted. But, some other people can't, they only rate gambling as wrong or bad. Nothing would ever make them understand that some are responsible while others are not, they only placed everyone in that same category. So, it'll be hard to stop issues from happening in a relationship, it's better to hold on to one trouble and solve it mutually and both parties accept some terms. Because stopping a responsible gambler from gambler, may not be the right solution for the relationship.
When a lie is detected, a person can create another lie, which will be like that for a while. Other people close to us will find out if we have lied to them, and even though they don't do anything and seem to accept our lies, in their hearts, they still won't trust us anymore. That's where other problems will arise, and because lies from us trigger them, these problems will become bigger, and ultimately, a fight will occur between us. Many people have experienced things like that and ended up in divorce or separation, and we should be able to learn from their experiences so we don't lie. Small lies will become big lies, and when we have lied several times, it will make us uncomfortable when dealing with other people. In married life, there are bound to be imperfections between us, and the purpose of marriage is to complement each other.

Only by trying to understand each other can they try to carry out the goals they want to achieve so they can work together to achieve them. Gambling responsibly can be done if he really understands that there are obligations that he must carry out, so he must always try to protect himself when gambling. If he can be responsible with himself while gambling, no problems will arise, and he will also be fine with his partner.
