1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the need to be known a requirement to qualify for a loan(s)? on: October 14, 2023, 03:26:11 PM
You can get a loan on this forum and the lender does not need to know your identity. You will see services like that on the lending board on this forum. If you have collateral like altcoins, or if you are in a signature campaign, you get a loan on this forum.

But if the loan is through bank or those loaning apps, they will demand for your identity and if you default any loan, you will be reported in a way that other loaning sites and bank will know.
1182  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 100 days on Bitcointalk on: October 14, 2023, 02:01:53 PM
My 100 days on Bitcointalk supposed to be on reputation board, I do not know why moderators left them all on meta board. Meta should be what are related to this forum, it should not be what are related to individual. My ranking, my 100 days on Bitcointalk, my 5000 merits and all things like that supposed to be in reputation board.

I have known you since you open a thread and interview Bitcointalk members. You have been very active on many bitcoin boards and altcoin boards and I think on Russian local board. You are a good poster that newbies can emulate. Happy 100 days on Bitcointalk.
1183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam Tether Airdrop Website on: October 13, 2023, 08:09:54 PM
USDT airdrop. USDT that has been created since many years ago. If anyone is scammed this way, is he or she not a fool? Or can we say it is ignorance? I think it is foolishness and greediness.

This are stupid common ways that scammers are using to scam some people, yet they continue to be victims.
1184  Other / Meta / Re: Benefits of earning merits? on: October 13, 2023, 12:37:22 PM
The benefit of earning merit is for people not to spam. It was created to reduce spam and low quality posts which is its benefit.

People are trying to rank higher and get into campaign is what people nowadays see has its benefit. To rank higher, join a signature campaign and earn bitcoin.
1185  Other / Meta / Re: Suspicious link deleted on: October 13, 2023, 11:39:49 AM
I do not know of accounts that are no more new, but newbies do complain about suspicious links. This is not about the link but it is about how this forum is programmed. As the newbies rank higher, he will not experience that again. I think this applies to you also. If you start to be more active and rank higher, you will not see it again.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can CEX, institutional investors, whales, hinder or halt the growth of Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2023, 09:23:48 AM
As bitcoin marketcap is getting bigger, the less likely there would be effectively manipulation because with this, more people will hold bitcoin and more organizations will have it in a way that manipulation will not likely occur.

But people should stop holding on exchanges like Binance and other custodial means to avoid possible manipulation.

I take it as a bullshit because the only way to control Bitcoin price is you need to own all Bitcoins, while FTX isn't own all Bitcoins.
SBF is using FTX customers bitcoin without their consent.
1187  Other / Meta / Re: How to know if somone replied to my post? on: October 13, 2023, 09:15:09 AM
For merits and mentions or quote, use the ninjastic telegram bot which its link has been posted by other users. It is the best for me.

For replies, on each thread, you will see notify beside reply, click on it to enable new reply of post on that thread. I prefer it to ninjastic because once there are new posts, you will get only one notification instead of continuous notification on ninjastic telegram bot, but this may be about preference.

For new topics, you will see notify beside create new topic.

For forum to notify you, it would be through the email.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 13, 2023, 07:48:15 AM
You also need to take into account the fact that gaming at work can be noticed by your boss since you are using a local network, and it is quite easy to determine what the employee is doing during working hours. What will follow? I think there is no need to predict. Therefore, if you come to work, try to do it responsibly, because nowadays, finding an office job, although it may seem like a boring task, is much better than using physical labor.
Finding office job in my country tis very hard. Many people that saw office job are low pay. Physical job has also not been that better, but people that are richer are connected to their own work.

Another thing is that it is wrong to use office/public computer to be gambling or for other things other than for office work. What I think more about this is that some gamblers that are addicts can still use their phone to gamble in anywhere they are.
1189  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Ever tried a crypto payment gateway for online transactions? on: October 13, 2023, 07:25:25 AM
I do not have a business to use crypto payment gateway for but I have used it to make transactions in the past. I think I have used 2 or 3 of them before. They are gateway and they process transactions as fast as possible. Out of all the ways to make transactions online, I prefer crypto payment processors, but I noticed that many foreign sites are not supporting it for people from my country and sometimes I have no option than to go for master virtual card which I will use bitcoin or other cryptocurrency to fund, but crypto payment processors are better and all you have to do is for the site to generate you an address to pay to through the help of the payment processor.
1190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You data is not safe on centralized exchanges on: October 12, 2023, 09:54:14 AM
OP, thread's title is very misleading because "You data is not safe on centralized exchanges" has nothing to do with the given case. In article, we read that 11 users become a victim of phishing. It's their responsibility to check the url of where they enter the data. Centralized exchange is not an issue here. Even if these users ha self-custody wallets, they would still lose it because of their inattentivness.
Wrong. Go and read the news again, it is clearly stated in the news title.

If you want to argue with the news and if you you do not want to be wrong, come up with evidence that it is not through KYC submitted on the exchange by the exchange users that led to the hack. Becuase 11 people were victims does not mean they are the only one that got a phishing message. If it is only one person, I will not think it can be through KYC, but if it is getting to more people, we can think it may be caused by KYC. If you have a good answer to the OP question, that is it not KYC breach? Then give evidence that it is not.

1191  Other / Meta / Re: Huge site outage! on: October 12, 2023, 09:40:46 AM
This error use to take some minutes before the forum will start working properly again, but this took like 3 hours. I have only seen this the second time on this forum, I mean the long time down time.

It's a good thing that admins were at hand and got the servers back online. But may I ask what was the cause of the outage in the first place?
It is only admin that can tell us what caused it. But as we always know it is either caused by little update or an attack. It is nice seeing the forum working back again.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you not gamble on women sports? (tennis not included) on: October 11, 2023, 09:39:56 PM
Well, it's not that I hate it but I feel like I can't tell the stats of these women. Furthermore, I think people who do sports bet on AMA or boxing it's often discussed here but not on other sports or it's too rate to have it in here. Sports minded people who loves to gamble will totally pick the same gender compare to the other one.
I do not think it is more about picking the same gender, I think it is more about the ones that gambling sites are providing for gamblers. I think gambling site are providing the ones that most people are watching and although some underdog leagues are included but which are mostly men. Isn't it? What concern betting sites is to provide the ones that most people are watching because the matches that most people are watching are likely the ones that people will use to gamble most, which is what bookmakers will like, encouraging more people to gamble.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 11, 2023, 03:46:09 PM
Depending on the amount of money he won, it could be he avoiding them because of security reasons.

It could also be because he feels that they might become parasites so he needs to avoid them.  Some friends will seize this opportunity to beg or take a loan from you until they finish the money. It can also be that thier friend feels that they are no longer in his class. Be as it may, it is not good to abandon good old friends.
You have stated two good reasons which can be connected. He can first avoid them for them not to be parasite. Some friends can because of the stinginess of their friend that won big, kidnap him to collect money because he is stingy. But if we also still think about it, the friend can avoid them but that does not mean they can not still kidnap him. I think more towards the parasite direction. What I will also say is that friends know themselves more than other people, I will not conclude in something like this also.
1194  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov trust abuser and shit plagiarized person on: October 11, 2023, 11:45:08 AM
Do your job if you think he is breaking the forum rules, report to the mods. I'm sure they aren't afraid of him unlike DT members who'm you claim are afraid of him. Just like to remind you that post can be moderated but the trust system cannot.
DT members are not afraid of anyone. If Ratimov do something wrong in a way that the community will give him negative trust and remove him from their trust lists, it will not take a long time before that would have happened. Some DT members will like him and give him good neutral and positive feedback and also include him on their trust lists.
1195  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov trust abuser and shit plagiarized person on: October 11, 2023, 11:31:10 AM
Why this spammer is still in the bitcointalk and not yet banned?
You can report a spammers or a plagiarist to moderators. Ratimov was reported but not banned. His old articles were reported but not be seen a plagiarism to moderators.

Many cases opened against this lier and still he is posting freely. All DT member afraiding of him.
Why did you say that DT members are afraid of him? Is that the reason you created another account becuase you will likely be a DT member.

Why do you, a new member, know and care so much about forum politics? Why do you always have your mouth open on this board? Are you that much of a coward that you can't use your original account to create such threads? I find it hard to believe that "AI Detector" is the only account that you own if you are making these kinds of threads.
He is not a newbie is my guess, he is an alt account.
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Suddenly I am receving warnings for every casinos sites. on: October 11, 2023, 10:38:48 AM
Update: I did a Network Reset in Windows, which is at the bottom of the network settings, and now I'm not getting that error and all the sites are working fine. This issue can sometimes be related to Browser DNS settings, where there are a lot of DNS options, such as google DNS, open DNS, cloudfare DNS, etc. Most of these DNS settings prohibit adult content, such as porn and gambling sites. If you're facing this issue in the future, you should also check your Browser DNS settings.
This is nice to hear. It can be frustrating if a gambler is not able to access all the gambling sites that he is using. It is good that you can access the gambling sites again. But I will advice you to lock this thread because you have solved the issue.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT WILL BE THE FINAL SITUATION OF BITCOIN? on: October 11, 2023, 10:31:33 AM
How Much Do You Trust Bitcoin?

Those who invested later, IS ANYONE BUYING BITCOIN AT 60 K?

Imagine Buying Bitcoin AT 60 K And Your Money Is Now 0
If bitcoin fall to zero, that means you are in your dream and you will soon wake up. Bitcoin can not fall to zero. Bitcoin can not get to $15000 ever again.

If you invested at $60000 and you are losing right now, the best is to continue to hold and the price of bitcoin will get to all-time-high and you will later make profit from your bitcoin holding.

How much do I trust bitcoin? 99.99%.

It is important to study bitcoin price so that you will know the right time to invest.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Crypto gambling on: October 11, 2023, 09:53:51 AM
You can see members posting their win/loss bets in various crypto gambling platforms so that should already answer your question. I used to play in bitcoin but I've switched to USDT or USDC. I'm more comfortable playing with stable coins since it doesn't fluctuate much in value. I don't usually win big anyway so it's better to save those BTC and use fiat-like cryptos instead.
Bitcoin transaction fee is discouraging sometimes and it can be very high. I prefer to use stable coins like USDT and USDC at the time. But if the transaction fee is not that high, I can use bitcoin. Sometimes, bitcoin transaction fee is low. When I also speculate that bitcoin price will increase, I prefer to use it to gamble.

Yes, there are a lot of gamblers here uses at least one casinos that they trust and place a bet on bitcoin. And it really depends on the game you bet, we love sports bet, so most likely for example, basketball, you know the teams that are going to play and have a idea on who is to bet or who you think will win. but there are a lot of options too, like ML, over and under score, handicap +/- and others. So there could be skilled involved in this kind of betting as you have to know a lot of information and analyzed the two teams that are going to play. But for games like slots and dice or roulette, it's based on pure luck, you just have to bet and see how it goes for you. If you are obviously lucky that day, then you are going to win. But expect that in the long run, the house edge are going to caught up with you and you are going to lose on this luck based games.
But do you know that casinos are different from bookmakers? Sport betting are on bookmarker sites not casinos. Casinos deals with casino games like Roulette, blackjack and some other ones. I am referring to this because the OP is talking about casinos and not sport betting. Although there are strategies involved in casino games but sport can require more analyses. Anyone that know how to play a casino game can easily have the fun without knowing much skills about the game.
1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Suddenly I am receving warnings for every casinos sites. on: October 11, 2023, 09:44:01 AM
I tried using vpn of USA and it works fine, My country has no prohibition towards online gambling. But don't know why I am facing this issue.
I tried all the things I written in the OP. Is there anything else which I am missing?
My windows update is ongoing for now, I will update this thread after a restart...... and also I have asked to other indian members that they are also facing this issue or not waiting for reply.....
If you tried VPN and it works, and you are using one of your country's internet service provider, that means they are the ones that is causing it. You can try to access the gambling sites on another device and see if it would work. The issue is strange to me and I have never seen it before which might make me not have information about it.
