1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 18, 2023, 09:59:24 PM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.
Infact, these - inclusive - is one of the most uncompromised decisios to make... Cus you'll end up seeing yourself back init, .. mostly when you're googling on some random search engines, and you've got unclosed/saved tabs about the sites you gamble with.... There's no way you won't wanna check on them fixtures,.. except Maybe you're outta funds completely. Lol  Grin   .....it's usually very tempting and would actually become the worst day of your life; mostly when you tend to lose more than the usual.
Quote
How many of us are guilty of this?
I don't gamble.

1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 18, 2023, 09:55:05 PM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
Anyone in Thier right senses would find that very offensive...
Does it really sound nice when someone is being paraded as a drunk? That's just the same feeling.... I don't even think it's all about getting tagged anyways - I Think the most feared part should be getting addicted in reality - cus that won't even feel like a joke or some lame assumptions anymore.
There's much to lose when you gamble frequently... Gambling has been made in a way that any lay-man could possibly get enticed and see it as an easier means to make wealth. There are no shortcuts,.. better go get what you want or die trying...

It's good as Patience itself is a virtue that would definitely make out possiblities in gambling, but - can also make people that don't retrace and understands things just the way it's being said, without thinking if it's got any ambiguous meaning - broke for the rest of their lives. I don't see gambling as an option to abolish destitution; "there are many ways to kill a rat" don't always forget.

...but I couldn't decipher your points generally... Are you actually saying that the major factors you need to Begin a crypto line would actually be the same reasons why you shouldn't?? I don't get. How would anyone exclude the fact that he needs income to Begin HODLing crypto??
Secondly, you listed "fear" and "scam" as a major criteria that daunts people from beginning... Good,.- has anything ever been done with much certainly in life without getting involved in a little risk at all?? How would you ever think of breaking the bond of poverty when you ain't even ready to try something new?? Lastly, you speak about the lack of knowledge as being another problem... Please take note, cryptocurrencies weren't introduced for everyone's approbation.

Uhmmm, when I first saw your post, I thought you actually penciled out the strategies already... I wasn't expecting to bumb into the points you made above... It' only seem to everyone like you wanna entice them with some usual, real-life words and trading terminologies,.. nothing more.
Y'all need proves to listen to him right??! That's exactly my point... What you've said isn't enough prove; oh, you thought it was??! Hehe... Anyone could say anything they want, but you'll have to showoff your expertise which is what will certainly CONVINCE anyone.
What do you demand from here? Payments so classes online could Begin? Payments so courses would be acquired?? What if not??! Nobody's that dumb dude! maybe you're just a menthol as you spelt yours even more incorrectly  Grin

Welcome to Bitcointalk...
You've got a little orientation on how thing's been done here right? Atleast that's what you gotta start with...
Understand the essence of having yourself acclaimed as a member in here - yeah?? Now you gotta do one good thing to keep a good pace on this mobile crypto trend,...and that would be helping the trend seek its already identified dreams... That's just practically how to grow profusely. Peeps like you have registered and have left in due course of ungovernable transformation/ mishap; but the one thing is that some left legacies in here that refreshes people's memory about them, but some can't even be remembered for nothing... Now you've got a choice to make yourself... Stoop low!!

I think the best response to any fraudulent act in the forum would be letting out them red print to anyone, company or firm that's labeled a properly investigated scam reputation... When that's done, It doesn't just serve as a deterrent to other participants but it also keeps every other participants on alert lest they don't bumb into any of those scammers....
1xbit has been labelled as a scammy project for a long time now and I feel anyone should've known that already... exceptions are made for the new breed anyways. I dunno how wonderful it feels to give what you toiled through several years to very unpleasant firms like that... just for some few bucks that will certainly end in not more than 4 months..

Yes, we all know you are ... infact, anyone that gets registered in here newly is a NEWBIE. Now that shouldn't have been your topic sentence at all; it doesn't seem really interesting to read that all the time, especially since that's the nearest phrase anyone would choose to use.. be salient!!
You're welcome!! I read that you're afraid of getting banned - no one likes that at all, but you shouldn't be afraid, which should be the reasons why you should get to work, and Know what you're doing in here just so you could keep doing it appropriately... Never feel belittled,.. we all started like you and we became what we are today... Consistency and focus is what I give to you!!  I DON'T MAKE POSTS JUST TO INCREASE MY COUNTS OR JUST FOR THE PERSON IN QUESTION, I BELIEVE THE NEW GENERATION WOULD GET TO READ AND KNOW ALOT WHEN WE CEASE TO EXIST IN HERE.

Seriously??? Is someone actually asking a question like this? How could you ever think about it that way - how do you even understand the term "cryptocurrency"?? Lemme just feel you were outta topics to post so you actually needed something to stir the stil air...
Cus gambling isn't shut to be compared to cryptocurrency... Is gambling a form of currency in the first place?? Or you meant to say - they've got the same criterions?? But even if that's the case, then How's that?? Even in the real-life business that we engage in, we normally come across the losses and the gains too...that's practically what makes business... I ain't seen any TRUE HODLER that complains about having 'em losses - except they'd choosed to go against the market.. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU POST!

See what I think?!! Uhhhhh... I think since any post or thread had survived a particular number of years or months - according to Thier specified annual statistics - then, they don't seem to worry much about it because they feel it's been a good one to have survived that long innit...
Secondly, they all know just like anyone would that old posts can't be made by rookies....and any old, prominent member wouldn't dare to make threads that'll need to get reported afterall...so all they would rather go for are the new posts - whether it comes from an old member or not - since we've still got alot of old-time dummy's in here too... That alone has practically made Thier jobs easier for them cus, C'monnnn... Imagine being a MODERATOR?? y'all be facing HELL!!! Shesss!!!

Stadus, where have you been all this whole time?? Cus I cannot believe that you're always active in the forum then you missed the times when several merit sources did alot of aiding to members that actually deserved them?? How's that even possible...I'm curious!!
To start with, OG Nasty ran a "sign a massage and get merited" thread, then Chymist also picked an interest and begun after few months of HODLing Smerits... Then finally, fillipone also deemed that as a perfect means to help prominent rookies rank up,...
Uhhmmm, I understand that it might not be enough since we've got alot of rookies lately; but, you seee... If it gets in excess, then there are chances of those birdbrains ranking up too... That would only cause more chaos than we thought it would..

We've got BTC already as a symbol for Bitcoin so how the hell can you raise an appraisal that supports its conversion to a logo for new topics and whatsoever??... I don't understand that..
I don't see any sense in creating anymore pains-taking innovations on this current site, mostly since Theymos is working on a new site already.. sometimes, it looks like an abandoned project, but NO! Theymos is usually way too busy that he isn't doing something else in support to the forum's renaissance... Especially when he made the objections himself. So I believe whatever development that should've been here will automatically be made synchronized over there... TIME WILL TELL!!

You gotta learn and develop a thick skin... Many have been slammed mercilessly for either making a post that's uncalled for, and at the end of the day, some radical members could abuse the defaulter in the process.. that's what you get; maybe sometimes, you don't seem to understand why it should be so, .. honestly, you don't really have to cus if any strict measures are taken on peeps that ask unnecessary questions or make repulsive Post, then you're likely to get banned as well and that would also make BTT an unbearable place for newbies...

1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 13, 2023, 09:58:19 PM
Man City have a lot to learn from the transfer of Gabriel Jesus. He's a player who is still very good and he was close to winning with Arsenal. Releasing players in one competition is too risky. A sling could be a double-edged sword for Man City. So they shouldn't sell to Arsenal. In addition to Arsenal and Barcelona, I also read that Al Hillal, a Saudi Arabian club, wanted him. At 32 years old, he can still play in the EPL or other leagues for at least 3 more years. Staying at Man City is also good, he can make good history again next season.
Gabriel wasn't really giving in quality based on the team's standard..Guardiola wouldn't always wanna settle for less yunno that right? But, I don't really see Gabriel as being city's problem as they already had a perfect replacement for him beforehand...
Secondly, player's sometimes feel even more comfortable and successful to play where they wanna play - not where they're asked to play - except otherwise... The Brazilian wouldn't have had any shirt to play with, especially when the Bunsliga goal machine was brought in, Halland.Thirdly, they also feel it's fine for anyone to explore around several teams ... Cus the more you play, the more experience you seem to have..

Just like many other players, Benzem chose money and he joined Arabian teams when left he is getting old to earn more money there.
I think Benzema made a wise move and Real Madrid should now hire an alternative player for this position. Mbappe is the first priority and I guess Mbappe can fill Benzema's position at Real Madrid perfectly.
Same as Ronaldo? Maybe you are right.
Apart from money, I think the Arab League might have something that top European players like Ronaldo and Benzema can consider. Even after Ronaldo joined one of the teams there, other players were interested in joining. The Arab League will become a more competitive league, not only in terms of competition but also in terms of business.
This is how I would regard everything.... Everyone needs money, but that fact doesn't qualify young nominees like halland to run after them... The Arabian leauge would certainly get popular and even more competitive, only that they'll always end up with every player's "chaff"...
Since they're richly endowed with affluence to acquire any player they want, it gives them the higher tendency to lure better talents ... But you have to understand that most growing ballers would wanna play in the European leauge first,... The trophies and ballo d'ors are the very important part of Thier history.

1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 13, 2023, 09:50:31 PM
If there are possibilities to do so, then I believe anyone would.
Does anyone really have the time to put down, on account, every penny that leaves through his prior disbursement?? I don't think so..
Is only gonna be possible for peeps that operates with gambling sites that encourages the filing-up of several losses or gains over time...I'm not gonna say I've known a site like that though, but I feel it's actually a nice option any site would wanna improvise on.
Thirdly, it's always good to know the average spendings per year or so... That would actually play a vital role as to when you've a choice - depending on the outcome of your annual extimate - if you're supposed to continue wagering on them games or not..I believe no one needs to tell you that it's actually a waste

I can bet or not... this is not related to my assets. these are two situations completely unrelated to each other and this is also a trick for those who want to play just for the pleasure of playing....and in general playing a trivial amount Wink
Depends on the kinda assets bitman.. if I got that really straight, then maybe you meant some phenomenal/real life assets... There's still every possibility that you stake on them buildings and solid structures to whatever amount it is, and you lose them...
Are you also referring to liquid cash or funds converted in crypto? It's still possible that they're linked and squandered profusely... The control lies in the mind, not on how much anyone has... When anyone seems to be gambling for fun, Its usually dawn on me as I don't really know what Thier intentions are exactly... Are they actually out for any wins at all??

1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $90,000 all in bet on: June 12, 2023, 09:58:15 PM
Did I just get that straight?? Did you actually wager everything you have on this 2 odd ?? How 'bout if it doesn't cut!? ion really know how that's evaluated anyways but just be careful!!
Secondly, in the cash out option, it seems you're even getting lesser than what you staked and that's really where the problem lies .. thirdly, you're so confident to leave such an Amount in a casino wallet which is not even advisable... You're really lucky to be having them wins on the games you've wagered already - making it possible for you to be able to grow your 4k dolls to this... But always remember you need to be careful to avoid stories at the end... I'll even advice that you withdraw them funds and build a standard level of stake... I know it's more profitable to stake big, but it's also painful if it doesn't cut ..

1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 12, 2023, 09:48:53 PM
Until you get to realize that you can't make a good life outta gambling, you cannot seize getting addicted... It's never easy mostly for peeps that don't really wanna get stressed from any manual or cognitive jobs - sought of.. but, if you just realize early enough that your refusal to stop or control your gambling habits would end you In your early grave or endless poverty, then you'll try every possible means to put a STOP to it...
Secondly, the feeling that you weren't able to make out with something good on the previous bet, and that it's actually cool to wager on several bets to see which one cuts (...and that seems to you like you can't certainly lose in all, but sometimes that's not even true.) - turns out to be the worst feeling that brings the whole doom... Whenever you begin to feel that way, you'll have no choice but to keep gambling!!

I'm not officially into gambling anyways but I think it's not wise to go back when you've gotten already enough...what do you term as that?? Isn't that pride?? You always know that each time you try to go back to get more, you lose everything in the process so why do you even bother??
It's very easy when you pull your mind out of it.... once you're not able to do that, it becomes a problem cus - like it or not, you'll still fall back to gambling away those funds. Everything is possible when the mind is set to make way through - firstly, you have to understand that every other winnings isn't yours anymore.... Kill any motivation of greed in the nearest possible means and move on in Real-life investments.
