One question from a total ignorant, why the season of NFL its so short?.

When i know it was that short really impresed me, more thinking about NFL its a league from USA, so money money money (music), so more games and longer season its more money and more tickets to sell. Why its not long or all year?

In the other hand NBA have a big rest, but still playing a lot of games in the months when its played.

We are only 40 minutes away from F1 Austria GP and odds are great for any winner besides Max.

All odds are present here - https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/formula-1/formula-1/austrian-grand-prix-2023-race/austrian-grand-prix-2023-race-64942f3753c22538b6ff4c20?c=home

I've already placed my bet with Winner of Group 3 with Oscar Piastri @ x11 odds. I do feel this might be his race when he will truly show his driving skills and why the hype around him is so big.

https://imgur.com/MVGaZlH - 8$ on Piastri and hoping for the best. Cool

How it ended? Who was on that group 3?. Piastri its doing good on Mcclaren but he needs to improve a little more and the team also, its a shame to see a driver like Lando Norris dont having a good car after so many years, you see today he can battle easily with top drivers when the car its good.

I think most of the casinos make always strugled to they users so they keep playing and lose the funds.

But its really sad and no reasonable seeing Stake making this moves, 6000 usd for Stake its very insignificant for them, so i dont understand why they make this, i think the main problem maybe can be they are having some troubles with thai people or some farm accounts who are from that location, i dont find another clue.

Anyone knows how its the tax in saudi arabia, in term related to football?

I think its gonna be very low, or inexistent but i dont really know. This its gonna be a important thing in the future, and yes i know most of the team are owned by the saudi royal family, but still a thing to note.
1186  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics - nice feature or should it get banned? on: July 01, 2023, 09:51:55 PM
Scammers can abuse self moderation, where warnings were deleted and it happened already.
We need to prevent abuse and need to don't allow self moderation for anyone having a negative trust from DT.

To tackle certain abuses is part of DT but also part of forum moderation. Negative trusted members should not be allowed to engage in self moderation.

Yes but its not true at all, if you do a proper research of what of with who you are talking or making a business, you are not gonna have any problem.

For example if anyone scam someone here, no matter if he delete the posts or threads, the person can open a acusaation thread or put a flag on that man.

For me the most important poin of self moderation threads, its to avoid spam from newbies or accounts that doesnt understant the disscussion or they want to confuse.
Exactly that. It's quite spammy in the Gambling section, where many topics are flooded with dozens of low-quality spam daily. Even in 50 comments, very little information is contained.
These posts are only made due to paid signature campaigns and that's really a problem.

Luckily, some members dedicated to our Gambling board have launched new, self-moderated topics, where spam posts are getting removed, for example:

Spam topic: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 (4000 pages of replies)
Self-moderated topic: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 (200 pages of replies)

Hopefully, such incentives will decrease spam in that section even more as some topics are almost impossible to follow, when there are 50+ new replies every day.

Well in gambling zone.... lot of spam and crap. This its one thread made by me, i know my english its not so good, but i clarify the main issue a lot of time, and the people keep coming and talking/post ton of nonsense. The link of my thread.

When i was talking about having a good sleep or a normal life and still can bet on most of the sports, they start to talk i dont know how, if the timezone affect the bet itself or the game it was playing ..... WTF.

1189  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics - nice feature or should it get banned? on: June 30, 2023, 09:35:50 PM
I think the only one who can oposse to the self moderate topics can be the "freedoms fighters" who doesnt understand some basic and logic rules of the world.

Im not gonna talk this case itself, because i dont know him and also its not the main topic of the thread.

For me the most important poin of self moderation threads, its to avoid spam from newbies or accounts that doesnt understant the disscussion or they want to confuse.

Obviusly this can be used to not good goals, or for other pourpose, but that pass with everything in life, like nuclear energy, you can make energy or a bomb.

And this feature its very important in some games and rounds and other topics when somebody cant participate.

Also its a good tool to dont make the mdoerators work so hard, because you are making some of the work. Can you imagine the ammount of posts/reports they have to see if self mdoeration doesnt exist?.
1190  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: June 29, 2023, 04:12:57 AM
In addition to the camouflage cybertruck we’ve seen driving around TeslaCarsOnly posted this image of a wrapped cybertruck in red and black.

It's photoshop and a really ugly lazy one too.

I know you're desperate to shill it any way you can but come on. Find something positive and stop making cybertruckers look even dumber than they are.

Yeah a very bad one, when i see the picture, i start to think this cant be true, its clearly photoshop and the pixels are visible.

About painting, wrapping etc, i think, if the Tesla was pure metal how they are gonna battle the sun making the truck a oven?, i think some good anti sun paint can be helpfull.

1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most premined coins (>90% of all altcoins) will eventually fail on: June 28, 2023, 10:24:27 PM
Very nice topic and thread.

Well i think i support your idea.

The main problem or maybe better to say root of this its most of the projects make that to finance itself in the market. So they mined the coins and after that they start the distribution of them some to developers (in form of payment) and other selling in the market to catch fresh cash.

The problem with that system its the system itself like you said in the main post, when the "new" and the boom its no more convincet and the entries of cash are low, the coin start to fall without brakes. The only way to survive its if the project was quite good enough to make the holders hold, and the people wants to still buying.

And that open the gates for the security like you said..... it can be impossible to stop a community take over in some cases.
1192  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: The paranoid user's security guide for using Electrum safely. on: June 27, 2023, 02:18:36 PM
Thanks Loyce, oeleo, and notatether for the answers, it was what i tinked, but its more safety to re ask to the wise of the forum instead of make a huge mistake in terms of security.

Yeah but thinking of future it can be a good think to have a "white" adress and a few more in the shadows, so when any ask, you only show a part of your funds and you dont have to say a lie like, "i dont have any". But yes you need to be very carefull.
1193  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: The paranoid user's security guide for using Electrum safely. on: June 27, 2023, 01:15:14 AM
Hi to all, and thanks to Notatether for this usefull thread.

I have one question , we allways read its a bad behavior to use the same adress  everytime, but here we use the same adresse everytime in signatures campaigns and its ok for practicall purpouse also in some statics adreses needs to be in that way.

So what its the solution? or what its the risk on use the same? Or its only for tracking matters? I think its for that everyone recomends to change the adress so no one can follow/track you so easily. But im forgotten something and its any more risk that im making?
1194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is considered good collateral these days? on: June 26, 2023, 06:29:24 PM
-A verified Localbitcoins account.
You are trying to provide a local Bitcoin account as collateral  I have no headache about the collateral I acceptable or not. But my headache is how you will give that as collateral while Localbitcoin stopped their service. So, undoubtedly it seems to me you are trying to scam.

I read that and also, A VERIFIED BANK ACCOUNT, man WTF, i know the other are important accounts but a bank account with real information and in a real legal framework....

Another think about that, in wich country?.

If the account its your please dont be so stupid to give that to anyone. IF not yours.......

I dont want to think you are another one scammer.
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins redistribution on: June 26, 2023, 06:07:09 PM
I like the idea of only having 21 million bitcoins.
Bitcoins get lost all the time, lost private keys.
In time we will have fewer and fewer bitcoins, currently it is thought 3-4 million bitcoins are already lost. This makes me sad.

I propose a redistribution method:
>If an address did not have any activity in let's say the last 100 years the address is considered lost and the bitcoins are free to be mined in the next block.

To prevent losing your bitcoins you make sure to transfer them to a new address every 100 years (I am not aware of any other method of "proving" you still have access to an address).

P.S. This would be a change in the consensus mechanism, I know  Embarrassed
P.S.S. I am aware of Satoshi's view on this "lost coins are a donation to everyone". Yes, but 4 million is a lot, do we want Bitcoin to still be used 1000 years from now? If this trend continues most if not all bitcoins would have been lost by then.

I think WE in modern societty have a very big problem with time itself, for us 100 years its like an  eternity, because in this era we experience so much changes in a very short ammount of time.

But in realty what its 100 years for a coin? or for gold? or fo hummanity in general? NOTHING.

So first 100 years its very ammount of time, second changing that you are changing a lot more things beyond our capacitie of seeing like a lot of people said in this thread before me.
Its a common question we all have because we know its a lot of BTC forgotten, but it is what it is, took that leverage in your favour.

When you heard some talking about 21 million BTC and for that ammount we have scarcity, you think you are a little more wise and you know in fact they are less, so being less the few we have worth more.
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: June 26, 2023, 05:55:29 PM
Liverpool definitely need to spend money in this transfer window. I think Liverpool will be assertive as much as Manchester City in the championship race together with new additions next season. By the way, what do you think about Ryan Kent who has grown from Liverpool youth? Can he make difference in the Turkish League? I'm very happy that Fenerbahçe have signed him.

We have signed World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister but we’ll need at least another one, preferably two CM’s to really have a chance at fighting for the title.

I’d like another CB too plus a RB if Trent is moved into that hybrid midfield role he was in at the end of last season.

Ryan Kent is a good player, very aggressive, he will do well in Turkey. I know Rangers fans loved him.
I agree with this because seeing as Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Milner have all left this season it's definitely good to have Mac Allister around with his youth and promising form but it's not enough for now.
Looking at the rumours now I don't hear Kent's name on Liverpool's radar but in recent reports they seem to be interested in signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton, Valverde from Real Madrid and Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.
Valverde will be very difficult for them to bring in because we know that Madrid will definitely fortify this player but it is still possible for Lavia and Ryan Gravenberch.
Now that Southampton have been confirmed to go to the Championship division next season and this could be one of the advantages for Liverpool when wanting Lavia. He is still quite a young player because he is only 19 years old but his performance is clearly still very good and his progress is also quite good. In addition, his vision when attacking and defending is also still quite good for players his age because he can attack and return to defence so this could be a good thing if Lavia becomes a target for Liverpool especially with Liverpool's scheme which is always with a direct pass and speed of attack of course Lavia can be a good target to fill the void.

Valverde its clearly not an option, its impossible to see Real Madrid selling him, the unique way its if Real Madrid wants Salah and they make a some type of exchange.
Lavia can be a very good bet, but the main problem its Liverpool cant bet anymore, they have a "bad" season right now they cant have another one in a row.

Also i think you are forgettin Arthur, that its the foundation piece i think for this new Liverpool. Arthur McAllister Thiago.

1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 22, 2023, 06:16:07 PM
Marcus smart to Grizzlies made sense to me in that sense that Grizzlies as a team likes to play grit and grind type of basketball, been like that for over a decade now and they keep doing that even when players change, it's whole generations changed, the first grit and grind people were like tony allen and so forth era, and all of those retired, and they still play that ball, even when coaches change, it's a team culture.

But, Celtics made no sense to me, Porzingis is definitely out, he ain't doing much, and picks do not worth a lot neither. So I am not sure what Celtics got, nothing that helps them quickly for sure, and they needed to have a quick return because they "almost" won the title, so they need improvement, not rebuilding. Lets see what they are planning.

Also i think they are cover Ja Morant, if he again make some stupid move in his private life.

Marcus its really good player and its gonna fit really good in Memphis.

Celtics lose the north, after so many failures and being so close to win a championship, they dont know what to do now.
