The current 2023/24 season Premier League Champions are Manchester City. They have won the Premier League four times in a row:

This thread is for English Premier League fans to:

The Premier League will release the fixture list for the 2024/25 season on 18th June but until then at least we can look at the 20 teams that will be participating in the most exciting football league in the world

I enjoyed your series thread for the 2019/2020 and i suppose its going to be another exciting season once again.
I noticed that you left the weekdays to be Saturday only, instead of using the weekdays that correlates with the date, a technical error or you left it purposely?

Today's match are eye watering; there are suggestions that the Liverpool are caught up, with the crossing antics, will Klopp figure out another way to attack teams? or it will be the same direct approach ? Leeds are know for low blocks and strategic game-plan, can they upset Liverpool? Big questions. I go for a Leeds draw.

Fulham did not survive their latest promotion to the premier league, and it remains to be seen if they have truly learnt. Meanwhile Arteta Arsenals are known to play negative football, sit back and hit on the counter. Will Arsenal sit back against fulham ? Will Fulham show some mettle ? It remains to be seen, but am gunning for a brace for Aubameyang.

I think crystal palace will win against Southampton, while A victory for West-Ham is what Moyes needs to proof he can survive the Job at the West London.

Its great to have the EPL back, exciting weekend ahead.

I corrected the days mistake, thank you for pointing it out. It was an accident - the old copy and paste haste

I would not be surprised if Leeds shocked at Anfield with a win or even a draw, they play super attacking and controlled football and Liverpool might find it hard to break them down. I would have to go for an Arsenal win against Fulham. I think Crystal Palace and Southampton would end in a draw. As for West Ham against Newcastle, another draw.

The first game of the 2020/21 season ended with Fulham losing at home to Arsenal.
The second game of the season ended with Crystal Palace beating Southampton.
The third game of the season was a real cracker, it ended with Liverpool beating Leeds United.

Great to have the epl back and from Game Week 1, as a stated earlier, fulham has not learnt from their past experience in the premier league, poor defending and a 3 goal loss is not a good way to start the season. Meanwhile, palace had a victory in a tensed game against Southampton.

Importantly, once again inna premier league game Liverpool has struggled in defense, is it due to the absence of lovren or matip? Or is it because Gomez is average irrespective of the position he plays? It remains to be seen, but Liverpool survives again. Unto next week.

West ham lost at home to Newcastle, from my prediction looks like Moyes will be heading out of the east London club sooner than expected, with an imminent departure of Rice to Chelsea, Moyes has to turn WestHam fortune around.

An excellent start for Wolverhampton Wanderers winning away at Sheffield United and Chelsea with a great start winning away at Brighton & Hove Albion.

A short review, I think Sheffield will be disappointed in their overall play, they didn't look as sharp as their opponent Wolves. Admittedly that they did get unlucky by hitting the posts and some good saves, but Wolves did what matters most, taking chances.

Lampard has alot of job to do with the Chelsea squad, it was indeed a 3-1 victory but it was an average performance; and the only thing that won the match was quality and good moments not tactics; Play against Liverpool like this, and Chelsea will be out of the game in the first 30 minutes. Question marks remains over Kepa; facing 3 shots and conceding 1 is another lackluster performances as accustomed to Kepa in the concluded season. The only positives for Chelsea was the shaky defensive lines. Lots to learn though.

I look forward to Manchester united debut match against crystal palace, perhaps with Sancho starting on the right.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are going to have another excellent season, they are a very good side. Nuno Espirito Santo has instilled a winning mentality and flowing game style in his team. Sheffield United should have at least had a draw if they had taken their chances but without Henderson in goal this season maybe they will struggle to reach the heights of last season where Sheffield United played excellent and finished so high in the table.

Kepa also needs a good defence in front of him, he needs his defenders to be able to support him and he cannot be at fault all time. I thought Chelsea would have sold him after what happened when he was not selected for the FA Cup final when Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 but here he is still playing in goal. It seems like Brighton and Hove Albion will have another tough season ahead of them..

Jadon Sancho is a Borussia Dortmund player,he played for them yesterday and scored against Duisburg in the first round of the German Cup. he will not starting for Manchester United

@ampere first of all it’s too early to rule out Chelsea, because not all their star player’s played yesterday, and they’ll require few more matches to start clicking so let’s give them some for time before we start to judge them. Also Manchester United won’t be getting Sancho it’s obvious by now, and I believe that Manutd will wait till the very end to secure a loan move for Bale, because that’s the only RW that they’ll be able to secure in this transfer window.

Chelsea have made a number of marquee signings so far this summer, although only the German pair were fit enough to feature at the Amex Stadium.

Manchester United are keeping their options open and may turn to a loan move for Gareth Bale should they be unsuccessful in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho.

It seems a lot of people are avoiding posting here because of my notice in the OP stating I will delete posts from spammers and signature campaign participants posting for the sake of increasing their post count. My record for the games this season have not been stated yet, I was merely posting the actual results. Even Newcastle United fans could not have dreamed of that winning start to their campaign. I was expecting them to lose the match.

As for West Ham United, they do have the players to actually step up and play good attacking football but they did not buy any players in the transfer window which might make them struggle this season.

Bale is in London to join Tottenham, but he's injured for a month!
What a joke 
After not playing serious football for a long time and playing golf more, he is now injured and unprepared for the new club.
Will the same story happen in Tottenham as in Real?
Maybe the golf courses in London are better than in Madrid
