1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: February 28, 2016, 12:08:03 PM
Very yes! If you was the owner of gambling game. Cheesy just make a strict algorithm and a few marketing to gamblers.

Owning a site is not easy peasy. Remember you have to invest a lot in security since it involves money.
Hackers will do anything to try and get your money. So you need to secure the site (database) but also your wallet.

But yes if this is done you can earn quite a lot.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: February 28, 2016, 12:00:40 PM
IMHO, if you can afford it then do it
house is a good long term investment because human will increase within time
real estate is to be excellent. The most popular investment for now. increasing numbers. the total world population. and housing needs for those individuals who continue to grow, making real estate prices further increase annually

Real estate is a good investment. Over a longer period of time you will see it will not only hold value, but  your property will also grow in value.
Making it a perfect investment. Perfect since you need a house for living etc. etc.

So yes get into real estate as fast as you can.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 28, 2016, 11:52:49 AM
giving up an addiction depends on the level of the addiction. for some people they can just stop it if it is in its early stages and not so serious , for others doing some activity like going out and doing a hobby will help and for the serious problems they should seek professional help or some sort of counseling

Well giving up an addiction is hard, but remember first people have to accept that they have  a problem.
Then they need to get either help or be hard for them self. Stop it 100% by being disciplined.

Or even better find some opposite thing to fight against their addiction.
Reverse psychology is very effective.
1184  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BitFury has the No. 1 Crown for Now... on: February 28, 2016, 11:47:07 AM
Well after they add so many hash a few weeks ago, it just logic.
I am happy to see though a non-chinese miner is growing and even the biggest now.

In the end it's about the right distribution, but let's be honest too they are just 1 entity, while the other 2 pools are from several entities.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: February 28, 2016, 11:38:28 AM
$ 10,000 per bitcoin. it's very high mate. I'll make sure it will not happen, imagine $ dollar is the currency most high (besides poundterling). only discount the value 1:10.000 by bitcoin. what about other currencies?
other currency would not be useful

There is no fixed rate was to when or where fiat will become worthless.
Even if bitcoin reached 100k per coin, fiat would still be in existence. Simply because there is demand for it.

Can't find a legit reason to replace fiat btw.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: So China accepting bitcorn. on: February 28, 2016, 11:10:35 AM
Bet you feel stupid Mike Hearn dont you ?

Where is the source of this?  And btw remember they controll they mining pools so they are already into bitcoin.
BTW I think Hearn just wanted to make a statement and thi swas a legit stetement.

The blocksize is a problem and we need a solution for it.
1187  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2016, 11:05:52 AM
Whether the price will grow high depends on factors outside our reach.
There are the whales but even more important think about the adoption part.

The more and the faster merchants start accepting bitcoin the faster we can see the true potential of bitiion.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 27, 2016, 09:45:27 PM
IMHO biggest problem is, that most of people haven't heard anything about bitcoin. It keeps growing, but still is somewhat niche.

I would like the bitcoin to be niche now. So that I can be one of the pioneers. After I invest, it will be big.

A niche for what?

Anyway my main concern is the wallet. It's just not logic for common people to send money to 12523523523 or so.
Also the wallets needs some graphical improvements. The current layout is just so outdated.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if we sit at $310-$340 for 2 more years? on: February 27, 2016, 09:42:28 PM
We will never see $340 in the future. It is the mining cost of most people in the western world.

How is that?
The next generation of miners will come soon, these will make the current set of miners not needed anymore.

But no bitcoin value is not ready yet for stability. There is just too much happening for that.
1190  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining farm in Romania on: February 27, 2016, 09:04:21 PM
I like to see anything related to mining. Rig setup, datacentres etc.
It's bad that most mining centres are close to open public, since it's fun to see all this hardware at work.

Someday I will start a own facility for sure. Just need a little more btc.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 27, 2016, 09:02:19 PM
Ac Roma have change all his championship with only 1 man, El Sharawy.
In low game, score more gol and reactivate the game of Roma, and the most incredible is only a lending from Milan

Yeah it weird Milan let him go. This player changed the complete playing style of Roma. While Milan is fighting for points. Roma is getting points so easily.
It's great to see such a varied player like him.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: February 27, 2016, 08:57:47 PM
Looking at the charts it is very hard to say where the price is going.
Was it a minor pump to 430 and are we heading back to 380 again or will we see 500 dollars?

My bet is we will see 500 dolllars soon.
1193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 27, 2016, 08:51:56 PM
2020 wil be the time of the next halving. Let's wait what will happen this halving.
Since it is so long away from now, there is no thing to say since it's all about expectations.

My guess, and hope, is we see that bitcoin went mainstream in 2020
1194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 27, 2016, 08:35:06 PM
Yes I do! Mostly on online activities like buying domains, accounts, coupons , etc. I also do investing on high risk programs such as ponzis and gambling on casinos to have some fun and get some profit (if lucky Grin) I think I am spending 75% of my earned coins and just 25% of it were on hold for the future!

I use it with namecheap too. it's great they accept bitcoin for their prodcuts.
But towards other buy options the options are quite limited to be honest.
Most shops here don't accept bitcoin (yet)
1195  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy on: February 27, 2016, 08:27:05 PM
According to his wife, he went to China to start a family with his new girlfriend who I assume is from China.  But they could have fled elsewhere.

There is no extredition agreement between US and China. We have to wait a long time to get our money back.

Well don't expect any money at all. If cryptsy falls. There is nowhere to get your money.
Even if they get Big Vern, remember 10k bitcoins were stolen, there is no way this guy owns this amount of money.

So he will not be able to pay you back. It's hard but it's realitity
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 27, 2016, 08:22:26 PM
Cold storage is the only way to go. Storing them on anything online is just not safe.
If you don't understand that your are probably not fit to use bitcoin.

Just remember that we are talking about real money here.
1197  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: February 27, 2016, 08:10:42 PM
I just to tweet a lot of messages. But these days i write some blogs and publish them online.
In a way this is the best thing to learn people about bitcoin.

They can learn and read about it and get excited by it.
1198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Five digits on: February 27, 2016, 07:24:11 PM
Can it happen?
Yes

Will it happen?
No!

Why?
Well it would not make sense. Because so much people would lose enormous amounts of money when the price go down again.

Lol yes.
It can happen but it will not. I expect the price to max out around 5000 in maybe 10 years.
From there we will see what will happen.

By then some big companies would have step it which would make sure the price would be more stable.
1199  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price going back to $250??? on: February 27, 2016, 07:21:06 PM
We all have seen the price going back to 360 and before to 330.
So we have settle around a safe border around 330 dollars.

IF the price would go back to 250 dollar it could potentially even go back to 200 dollar again.
I honestly don't see this happening.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 27, 2016, 07:17:12 PM
Safe method to gamble :

Bet 1 btc on 1.1 multiplier
If lost
Bet 15 btc on 1.1 multiplier
If lost
Bet 200 bitcoin on 1.1 multiplier
If lost
Bet 2200 bitcoin on 1.1 multiplier
If say 1000 people do this once, it's quite likely 999 people will win a tiny amount, and 1 person will lose everything.
Fortunately we haven't seen a man gamble with this style.
The method above are insane to do, basically to earn 10% of your bet needed too much money staked almost 15× base bet multiplied everytime you lost.
Don't do this at home!

I would not recommend it too. Remember it all depends on luck.
With gambling you are never sure or can be guaranteed a win. So you will propably end up losing more money then you can afford.

Which is bad.
