1181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $2000? because of Trump? on: January 27, 2017, 04:38:48 PM
Bitcoin has really started this year off wild!
I was reading that it might hit $2000 by end of year, because of Trump’s ‘spending binge’ and dollar rally.

What do you guys think?

Bitcoin obviously will reach $2000 and maybe in the end of the year but not because Trump, I don't see any good planning to affect bitcoin yet, except he invest million USD into bitcoin and encourage investors to do the same thing which unlikely won't happen in the nearly future. The most important to pump bitcoin price is the usability to spend it directly to supermarket/groceries in daily transaction.

1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 26, 2017, 11:47:05 PM
what is diference bitcoin trading and bitcoin investment
or bitcoin investment without anything can get return example cloud mining, HYIP investment, ponzy site if true
is danger if investment cloud mining low return and majority not real mining only scheme ponzy and only wait to scam

if you have skill trading, trading is still good can get much return profit
Actually, with just $200 or equal to 0.2Btc now, you can't expect so much from investment as the capital is not big enough to get decent profits. Trading may the best option to grow it better, as I believe there are some potential coins to trade for. All you need to learn about which coins you need to deal with, the outcome will be great as well.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: January 26, 2017, 11:05:14 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley
Your loss should be a warning to stop indeed, many people had stopped because got too much losses.
If you got nothing from gambling instead of waste time and money, than you've got the lesson
Better to delete all of your accounts for gambling and intended won't come back ever, find another activity to fill your spare time.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HELP WITH RECOVERING MY LOST BTC on: January 26, 2017, 04:48:06 PM
I just cant seem to remember how i did the whole thing. You know after that I created another wallet and I can access that. I have the pass phrase, email and and all but for the above, i dont remember anything, not even the mail I used. I followed that link you provided, saw the money and what do i do to get it? thats the problem at the moment.
If you even don't know which email you have used for that old wallet you can't know the wallet identifier so it will be almost impossible for you to recover that wallet. Try to check every email you may have made or you were using in past for blockchain.info wallet welcome mail.
So, you have BTC0.3, good amount to lose it. Yes, it seems impossible since you've got nothing, where all the pass phrase, email, and password? Don't you write it down instead of just memorized it? Consider the money had gone for good if you can't find the email and blockchain wallet in your inbox.
But really, how much email account do you have? You may check them one by one and looking for the welcome mail.
Overall, I think you can make it, good luck in your quest for the email.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HELP WITH RECOVERING MY LOST BTC on: January 26, 2017, 03:34:28 PM
Are you sure you installed blockhain wallet? You are using a mac pc? I don't thunk here is a desktop version of blockchain wallet for windows device. Checking the wallet and it seem that it still has the money you are looking gor. Do you have a backup of your wallet in your email or somewhere? I don't think blockchain is helping with recovery of wallets at all.

I believe you. I know the money is there but how to access it is the Issue. I dont have any Password or record of it anywhere except for the one i created latter on on the website. I have the full detail of that one.
Blockchain wallet right?
Have you ever backup your funds?  Do you ever made 12 word wallet recovery phrase in case if you forget the password? as you said don't have any password. Maybe it can a little bit help https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/211205343-I-forgot-my-password-What-can-you-do-to-help-
This one too https://blockchain.info/wallet/security
Maybe your last chance to try any combination that maybe you ever made.
1187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Crash ? on: January 26, 2017, 12:24:09 PM
Well,

BTC hasn't hold 900$ . It's not a good for BTC holder , and a clear bear signal should came if price will go under 850. If so, we could expect a fist round near 820 and then a test at 800$ area. If doesn't hold 800$, we could see new montly low. Only after 900$ we could say that market trend is bull again.

Maybe it's going down but it's not crashing. Bitcoin was 500$ just a few month ago. We all have to take that into account. Bitcoin price has been going up for months and was going up way too fast. It's quite logical it will go down now for sometime before rallying again.

When bitcoin pump so fast, it definitely will going down hardly as we hit bear trap at $1100 and drop back to $720.
Well, it's already recover to $900 and seems persist on there, keep fluctuate but always come back to there.
Slowly increasing for now is better than nothing, too fast and it will drop again.
Whenever it going down, that's time to buy cheaper bitcoin before we're going beyond $1000 again, maybe in the next month.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: January 26, 2017, 10:59:38 AM
US Dollar will still be the major global currency for another +30 years later I think, but there is still chance for CNY may has chance to replace dollar as the country growing more faster than US in economics section. I don't think bitcoin will be the new world currency as the market cap isn't enough to compare with fiat money, moreover if some countries ban bitcoin to use inside the country, will decrease the users and the market price.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Masses amounts of effected users -- we missed a chance for stability.. on: January 26, 2017, 04:13:27 AM
I don't fully understand what you talking about, sorry my bad.
Did you mean that bitcoin need to constantly adapting and developing in case to facing evolve technology out there?
It is what the devs team and users always do all this time, bitcoin always being upgraded to solve the problems and become better technology.
Sec : how we missed a chance for stability? We even not reach all of the bitcoin that remains to mining, bitcoin could be more stable when the market cap bigger (takes years) and more adapters hold and treat it as a precious currency.
1190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just dropped to under 900$ and it keeps going down on: January 25, 2017, 09:52:10 PM
The price is fluctuating, its a gamble if you're trying to make money...

Wow, I never see it that way and just triggered about gamble. For new comers that only looking for profits by sell at higher and buy whenever it down, it is a gamble activity to predict where the market price lead today. Actually, people who invest on bitcoin Will gain benefits for sure but you need to be patient as the price increase is inevitable. Bitcoin will rise again, maybe in the next week or month, no one can tell the right answer but surely it will, just wait.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: January 25, 2017, 08:57:04 PM
maybe your fried is not familiar with the concept of calculator or maybe he doesn't know what hack a bitcoin wallet means!

either way, you should have told him bitcoin survived from 2008-9 till now without being hacked the way he thinks and it will continue being OK until there is a big advancement in the quantum computers front.

Bitcoin is unbreakable if someone just use calculator or single computer, he need some super computers which has suitable person/team to running it. The hackers won't attack bitcoin, they actually want to get profits by hack some wallet with huge amount of bitcoin inside such as exchanges.

To me, bitcoin is not hackable; however, the bitcoin network might be hackable. So the question should be "how strong is bitcoin network?"

And Bitcoin network is vulnerable like any other network so there is no such thing as 100% security. We all have to be aware of this.
i don't know what you two mean but i am only aware of these and i doubt we can exactly call any of them "hacks"

Those problems might be weaknesses for bitcoin but we can handle it or at least they on the devs trying to.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies on: January 25, 2017, 06:33:12 AM
Bitcoin is number one in 2016, ethereum is number two
and the other cryptocurrencies we can check on https://coinmarketcap.com
Bitcoin and ethereum are not jus become 2016's top cryptocurrencies
I think they will become 2017's top cryptocurrencies too, i guess.

No doubt that bitcoin will always be the best crypto currency for 2016 and for the upcoming years. And yes ethereum is on its 2nd place. I don't rely on my own opinion with alt coins as long as it can surpass the coin market cap and a lot of investors will take a look for that coin and manage to invest thousands and millions of dollars.

Different point of view makes a different result, Op stated the best cryptocurrencies from percent of gain in a year, and you seen it from market cap which bitcoin as the first one is the highest of course. But, ethereum impressed me as second rank with $9,3 Billion market cap. But, as a digital currency, common people see the highest price at the first time.
1193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do so many people hate Coinbase? on: January 24, 2017, 05:05:03 PM
I've never had a problem with them from buying with them through the years and don't really see the source of all the hate for the company. Could anyone go ahead and provide some insight into why people hate it?

Thanks.

because they are mostly known as a wallet. and when we are talking about bitcoin a web wallet specially one that is like coinbase is mostly against what bitcoin is supposed to be.
coinbase is like a bank mostly rather than a bitcoin wallet or even an exchange.
you provide them with all your documents and you still have no access to your private keys so you don't control bitcoin.
Not only the fact they charge a high rate to buy bitcoin from them their wallet sucks. They close your account with funds in them, it doesn't matter to them, if they deem you are sending "your bitcoins" to sites that they deem are not up to code to them. According to their TOS if you are violating any of their rules they will close your account and freeze your funds without notice to you until it is too late.
So you still have to ask why there is so much hate for a capitalist pig type of mentally in the bitcoin world?
They have grown to big  they think they have the right to dictate laws to impose onto the bitcoin user who uses them as an option, and there are so many other options outthere who will not do this to you and your bitcoins.
Ever heard of coinjar? They are way better than this con company is.

It's new information for me, thanks for share, save it.
I never tried other wallet or exchanges platform as blockchain has fulfilled what I need.
The high pay rate maybe one reason why, but the terms of service that could freeze your funds is the most annoying to deal with if we want the freedom of bitcoin transaction. Moreover about being anonymous which users have to provide all the documents to identify yourself.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: January 24, 2017, 03:33:34 PM
only way to stop gambling is to loose all Wink

Anyone who will struggle to stop must learn in a hard way, this people will stop once they lose an amount that is big enough that could already affect greatly on his finances. The moment the budget of the family will be affected, there is already a big problem that is happening and that person should quit gambling for good.

It is the only way to stop them for real by letting them experience the hard way of losing. And for sure that they are going to regret it, because there are people who are struggling that they can't overcome gambling. But once they are going to lose everything then that is going a lesson learned for them and it's up to them if they are going to learn from it.
But it's too late if the way to stop through the hard way of losing and affected his family.
No, it's not the only way to stop, I think.
People will trigger to stop when they lose or get warn from family or friends.
All about losses that others share here are good examples too.
I do gamble before and nothing too worry as I play in safety way, and just come back few months ago because so much adverts from gambling sites to try.
1195  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Legit Bitcoin Doublers? on: January 24, 2017, 02:13:48 PM
Doubling Bitcoins just doesn't exists, not on this way that is advertised. It's just scam attempt for naive Bitcoin users. If you want to double your coins you have to work realy hard and invest with lot of luck. There are no such things as free lunch and free Bitcoin doubling, forget it.

Whenever some sites/advert offer to easy double bitcoin, we know it as a scam effort to attract layman to take the bait.
What funny is, there is always someone fooled by this tempting offer. Lack of awareness and knowledge I guess.
Take your own responsibility to try something new but learn about it first before jump in.
1196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cashing out.... on: January 24, 2017, 09:03:02 AM
You will regret.
Not if he could get profits and really need cash right now, everyone is free to buy or sell.
He feels that the price will be fall down and planning to buy back at the dip, nice strategy.
But, if the price slowly increases instead of decrease, he may regret it a little bit.
Looking at the price fluctuations, seems it won't fall for now and will rise to $1000 again.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction not confirming on: January 24, 2017, 06:05:19 AM
Another fees problem to resolve as miners prefer to choose highest incentive to process the transaction into the next block which is generated. I'm not using multibit, so I don't know for sure how is it going there. I've never going through this problem on blockchain wallet before and the process always faster which I didn't realize. Moreover, sent low amount of bitcoin seems to face same problem every time I find out about this.
1198  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: January 23, 2017, 02:40:25 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I earn a lof from butcoin I don't want to right the specific amount. But yeah I want to earn more in bitcoina to help my family and of course to be rich. To help other people specially my relatives. I earn from trading, gambling and of course in the signature campaign this is for me to have a passive and sometimes massive income so I hope this year will be mine to earn lot of bitcoins.
Nice story of your experience, but what matter is your strategy/planning to manage those funds for your future?
I like this kind of discussion, trying to earn and saving what I've got and intended to start local bitcoin business first, and learn a better way to grow it. Inspired by others experiences and avoid all the mistakes, at least.
1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: January 23, 2017, 12:11:13 PM
I didn't lose 4 btc.

I was down about 4 btc. Then I came back and was around 0.3 btc positive, then lost 0.4 btc and then gained 0.225 btc back on that last bet, putting my slightly positive. I was calling it quits and withdrawing everything I had at that point, when they changed my bet again.

So they scammed me out of around 0.9 btc.

I'm not going back. I was just posting it here so people know.
People believe what they want to, even if the reality has come to their eyes.
Yes, it's simply to 'do not bet if you don't trust it'. But all going so well for me here and never got those problem though.
Well, thanks for share your experiences and cautioned us, we will be careful in every bet.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 23, 2017, 06:38:41 AM
I know this is going to be an older topic to many of you, but I've been quite busy lately!  After Bitcoin skyrocketed up to the 1,100 USD mark recently, then was knocked down significantly after chatter of China's government (not shocking) was considering making Bitcoin illegal. From what I have found China has not actually banned Bitcoin yet, but with China banning things such as Facebook..this is worrisome to me.  I don't think there is even an argument to be had that if they do ban it, that Bitcoin will take a major blow.  If that happens, a large short term or long term worry?
If bitcoin will going to be ban on China, it's consider as big problem as people there hold largest number than any other countries.
It will take years to recover again as bitcoin in circulation need more time to spread. As you said there's no an argument to ban bitcoin in China, hopefully it won't ever happen.
