1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple BITCOIN Analysis on: February 16, 2020, 12:38:39 AM
Most people certainly have a bullish expectation from the bitcoin market and the so called experts do put some high numbers in media that boost the morale of the investors.
Till people believe bitcoin can rise, bitcoin would surely rise. So, buying at every dips won't hurt as the won't stop anywhere below the last ATH.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Helix tumbler / bitcoin mixer founder indicted for money laundering on: February 15, 2020, 04:08:59 PM
There are many opinions about the legality of coin Mixers and I love to compare them with guns.
Just like guns, mixers are just a tool. The one that makes it should not be made liable for what the users do with it.
And though some users use it to launder there money, many others might be doing it as a hobby or just for fun.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Reaches One Million Users on: February 15, 2020, 02:42:31 PM
Metamask surpassed 1million users, as the Ethereum market price pump to 300$ and the market cap is back to 30million $.

The ethereum transactions was double from 400,000 to 800,000 transactions a day.

https://www.trustnodes.com/2020/02/14/metamask-reaches-one-million-users
Is there any confusion here? I don't see ETH going up to $ 300 today, there are still at $ 280 and are showing signs of going down. BTW this is great news for metamask, surely in the near future they will get more users because of the convenience and safety it brings to everyone.

Edit: The price might have been wrong by OP.

No wonder Metamask has been the favorite of users as it's the easiest one to access dapps and DEX. There are no other viable option for most.
I too use it regularly and thought hey allow to adjust fees to some extent, I'd still love to set my own numbers.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 15, 2020, 12:49:32 PM
If City's appeal fails, will there still be 4 clubs from EPL playing at UCL for the following season or given to another league?
Man City face a big problem, they need to convince their best players to stay at Etihad.

There will be still be same number of clubs from Premier League. That number is connected with league coefficient and that shouldn't be affected by City ban. They will just shift up in pecking order.

Though I believe in law and City should follow the rules but I still think it's not fair to stop players from playing for an economical mistake from the club administration. Though most players would find a way to play from other teams but that would surely effect the team and the players in many ways. It would be better to sack the administration and install a transitional one from the board themselves until the issue is solved while allowing the players to play as a team.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 15, 2020, 10:55:23 AM
The prices can go any direction but it's rather satisfying that you hold the same USD value than holding same amount of coin that values lesser.
I too am now stuck with USD as I made a good profit from the moving market and as all my sell orders are executed, I don't want to buy the coin at a higher prices than I sold.
I already have a good profit from them and I'd rather wait for them to fall before buying again.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How interested are you to lend BTC out? Need Your Input! on: February 15, 2020, 08:55:42 AM
I want to profit from my BTC but don't want to convert it into any other forms as I believe bitcoin price is still the increase. Every lending platform provides a low interest on BTC, they are not to be blamed as no people would want to borrow in BTC to use it as money as it's too volatile. Only reasonable place to invest so far for me has been the bankroll of Casinos.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 08:29:31 AM
Scam comes in different shapes and forms but there are some simple ways to prevent them.
Firstly secure your funds, use good passwords and 2FA wherever possible. Don't copy paste or screenshot your keys or phrase and keep them on same device or on the cloud.
Don't make quick decision, look over for every of your investment more than twice. Something that looks promising might not look the same tomorrow.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin break it's all time high? on: February 14, 2020, 04:26:39 PM
The last ATH of litecoin was due to the halving and for it to happen again, we might need to wait for another one. Litecoin is an abandoned project by the founder. Though people may argue for bitcoin be the same, bitcoin has a larger number of people dedicated as a team than litecoin. The year 2020 is going to be of bitcoin.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fake freewallet mails, Beware on: February 14, 2020, 11:39:40 AM
Freewallet is a well know scam and it's their attempt to raise their userbase as active users are being aware of their deeds. Whenever a person finds such mail, the first thing they do is to reset the password and in this case to create a new account on a scam wallet. It's spamming for users. One of the worst kind of advertising.
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anypay’s CEO Says Bitcoin is Worthless For Payment; Disables BTC Payment on: February 14, 2020, 02:30:13 AM
Business needs to work with stats that benefits them. If the payment for that particular business through bitcoin is below 1%, it's really worthless for them.
Though his understanding about mineable coins seems to be poor. Double spending is not a everyday threat and could be solved just by waiting a few confirmations.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance developed coins on: February 13, 2020, 07:40:27 PM
Binance developed a Binance Coin (BNB) and Binance USD (BUSD), binance has developed another coins? where I can see the list o coins developed by binance?

Binance have came up with many coins now to facilitate with the trading inside and out of exchange.
BNB is the value token of the exchange while all other are fixed to something. Like you said BUSD is a USD pegged stablecoin.
They have made tokens equivalent to the real value of coins on the BNB blockchain that has the name BEP2 like ones for bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoincash and Ripple.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much damage done in Altcoin Due to these Pump&Dump in Bitcoin prices on: February 13, 2020, 04:25:55 PM
Firstly you should know that cryptocurrency is a new market and is highly volatile. As we can't abruptly change it, we should accept it.
And the volatility has been lower in last two years thanks to bitcoin which has a huge marketcap and acts as a buffer for rapid changes in price of coins.
If it were just the alts, I bet the market would have been much more volatile than this as they would require much smaller capital to manipulate.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 13, 2020, 03:15:56 PM
P2P games could be a great concept but I haven't seen any professional gambling site doing it. Lottery is a sort of mass P2P games but it's slow and non adventurous.
The site could just hold the coins and take away the commission. I have played rock paper scissor in faucethub that was fun playing P2P but the microwallet is closed now. And there also was a lightning gambling site that allowed P2P coin flip.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: February 12, 2020, 04:31:07 PM
Everything can have a bad effect and should be taken in consideration. If someone is intended to ruin their life, they would certainly find a way.
Theft is not only unethical but a crime. Only the morally corrupted ones would get involved in it. Cheaters are of same moral grounds as theft when it comes to gambling.
Alcohol is a good substance if used correctly and smoking and drugs are also a must have experience in life.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most speculative altcoin that might be gain high ROI in case of all on: February 12, 2020, 02:57:14 AM
Purely theoretically, a coin that is worth almost nothing (like 1 satoshi or fractions of satoshi) has the highest potential for big ROI if it suddenly explodes. Just like Bitcoin went from costing a few cents to thousands of dollars. But on practice it's almost never happens, and if you try to chase such investment, you will end up broke. Trading isn't about making crazy returns on a single bet, it's about steadily making profit over longer periods of time.

It does happen on some pumps but it's really hard to know about them unless you an insider.
The closet thing to it would be to invest on a popular and legit coin when it is on an average low for quite a period.
For example, in a bullish market like current, Ethereum has rose 10% in the last 24 hours while Bitcoin at 5. So we could expect Ethereum to have a slower growth than bitcoin in coming few days. Similarly the one that has decreased larger in bearish market would have a better rate of correction.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 12, 2020, 02:22:52 AM
The other countries are not comfortable with the higher share given to the BCCI. They argue that every other sports body treats the nations equally and there should not be any discrimination in cricket as well.
From what i understand the majority of the revenue that ICC earns comes with the help of India and so is the reason they are having some voice when it comes to these allocation, i want to see India and Pakistan play cricket as it was once the most anticipated series after Ashes but the political intervention and their political tensions deprived the fans from watching these high octane matches and if it was any other country i am sure the ICC should intervene.

Oh.. not again. We had hundreds of posts here discussing a resumption of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan. But we needs to be realistic. To be honest, I don't think that a bilateral series between these two nations will happen during the next 10-15 years. As of now, these two teams are facing each other in the ICC tournaments and I guess we should be happy with these matches.
This is good now we need to close this chapter as its already too much talked and have very complicated situation better now we talk about current cricket as tomorrow we are going to have another very exciting twenty/20 match between South Africa vs England.

Being a non-pakistani and a non-indian cricket fan, it clear as air the cricket council is centered towards BCCI. Largely could be due to the monetary value the Indian fans hold.
This is hurting the adoption of cricket in the long run. Though they have softened for associate teams, they are still not as friendly as any other sports community is.
They are even boycotting a major team due to political influence of BCCI. That is the last thing people would expect from a game that calls itself a gentlemen sport.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, BCH and BSV halving countdown dashboard on: February 11, 2020, 04:50:33 PM
No, not really. BCH and BSV are NOT Bitcoin.

True. But some of us might want to make trades using these information to hopefully earn profit; to increase our BTC holdings of course. Tongue

I didn't knew there would be such significant difference between the times these forks halve. I thought they were identical except for the chain.
BSV never ringed me but BCH is quite famous from where I am. They are quick and easy. Though BSH would never replace Bitcoin as they are chose for their differences not the similarities.
1198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: EARN BITCOIN WITH THIS SIMPLE STRATEGY on: February 11, 2020, 12:41:58 PM
It became more realistic with the introduction of stablecoins but you also need to do this in small portion rather than converting all your balance as you may never know, a long term price change be in process. Don't feel frustrated when you sell your coins for profit and the price of bitcoins starts climbing and never sell below your cost price as the price is going to increase in the future. Have a record of buy price and sell price for every portion of your coins and trade at the level of 1/10th of your total balance.
