It's no surprise metamask would reach these number of users. As a user of metamask, I really think that the application is very useful in adding protection when transacting with your crypto wallet. Being able to get notified when somebody is accessing your crypto wallet provides a bit of confidence.

Did the Ethereum really hit $300 today? Coz I only see $281 on the coinmarketcap, anyway, there is no surprise at all that a high volume of people are using metamask and rides simultaneously with the Ethereum's price as Metamask allows its users to do ethereum related stuffs. I bet they reached that high usage because of the incoming bitcoin halving, why do I say so? Simply because they are converting what they have to buy bitcoin and ethereum. I often use Metamask back then purposely for selling my tokens but I've read some in Github that several people are having problems with connecting their accounts to Metamask. Last time I checked there was a loading error on some websites and exchanges whenever Metamask is activated. I'm glad they are having a good business up til now and guess there will be more people who will use Metamask for the crypto event this year.

Well it just proves that the crypto are gaining more and more people.
More transactions are being made day by day and even wallets.
I think we would soon see crypto being accepted as a payment option or be used like other currencies.

Metamask is a wallet attached in the form of extensions in a web browser and IMO is the easiest to use, secure, and has many features too. it is also proof that crypto world is getting serious this year, the bear market has faded a little and this IMO is a sign of a bull run signal. between price and download metamask wallet in my opinion has nothing to do, but someone prefers to use metamask instead of storing a private key in notepad, namely multiple security such as having to enter a password to access the wallet.

Is there any confusion here? I don't see ETH going up to $ 300 today, there are still at $ 280 and are showing signs of going down. BTW this is great news for metamask, surely in the near future they will get more users because of the convenience and safety it brings to everyone.

No wonder Metamask has been the favorite of users as it's the easiest one to access dapps and DEX. There are no other viable option for most.
I too use it regularly and thought hey allow to adjust fees to some extent, I'd still love to set my own numbers.

Metamask is a good browser utility because we can skip logging into our wallet and exposing passwords or private keys online which can be very risky and can result in theft or hack while metamask kind of covers the peivate account and still gives us access to our portfolio. I think in coming months the userbase of metamask will rapidly grow.

Upon checking the current price of ethereum, it is currently sitting at 281usd base on coinmarketcap. And upon checking the price graph, I didn't see that ethereum price already passes to 300usd. You can just correct me if I am wrong, all the informations that I provide came from coinmarketcap.com.

The development of Metamask is growing rapidly because many of our users know that the average ethereum user uses the Metamask wallet because of its ease and also access to good notifications as well because there are no complaints at all so that now many users are switching to this wallet.

This could also be a factor due to the recent Ethereum increase so that there are more users with market capitalists and also more transactions.

Hmm, it looks like we're same, in my opinion for security issues it seems almost same, I'm sure many members here use mew but they have never been hit by hacks or anything because they can avoid web phishing, wallet phishing, etc.

 There was a lot of talks about how their competitors was constantly getting hacked and getting other peoples money stolen, so metamask definitely did get a spike in user numbers because everyone was flocking to it while fleeing from the other ones. I personally always used it, it was early days of cryptokitties when it first came out, it required me to have something like metamask so thats what first I found and I used it ever since, over time you get so much free coins that worth nothing that I can't even follow what the hell I have anymore, which ones worth what and what my investments look like, I just have a general idea of the value but not individually for all of them unless I check them one by one. Using metamask made my job soooo much easier.

I'm checking the price of ETH only on CMC and I think it just reached $288 but didn't reached $300. In some exchanges it probably have reached to that point but now it has dipped again which happened very fast.

If metamask has really reached a million users, it is indisputable that the metamask as a browser plug-in met all expectations, since acting as an intermediate between a wallet and a trading exchange or regular sites, for example, is a very good opportunity to save all your sensitive data when using the wallet actively.
But as a basic wallet, I recommend Myetherwallet to everyone, because this wallet has never compromised itself.

Losing fund easily is why I don't use metamask, I only use it for claiming tokens from airdrops and bounties, I heard it can be easily breached since its a windows browser plugin based wallet
