11801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ----Please Help Me Earn A Job---- on: May 16, 2015, 03:42:17 PM
You search for online jobs on Fiverr, Odesk and Freelancer.com. These are genuine websites and if you can do data entry work, you can bid on some projects on these websites else make sure to update your profile on these websites to get more jobs.
11802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google self-drive cars get green light on: May 16, 2015, 12:44:23 PM
I was waiting for these self driven cars for years. Hope that this succeeds and the accident rates go down but there needs to be some kind of monitoring done before many start owning these cars. Wonder what's going to be the price of these cars  Undecided
11803  Other / Politics & Society / Re: David Cameron plans to allow police to vet anyone's internet communications on: May 16, 2015, 12:40:48 PM
It's good if they want to stop rumors from being spread on these social networking websites but just monitoring all citizens isn't a good idea. Some countries think only about the negatives of these websites and consider them a threat. I wouldn't like anyone to constantly police my activities on the internet even though I don't do anything wrong. I respect my privacy.
11804  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CONTEST: How many Bitcoin Penny™ coins are in the jar? on: May 16, 2015, 12:24:41 PM
Is any guess so far quite close to the right answer? Or people are guessing way more number of coins that are present in the jar?

I'm sorry, but I can't answer that question. Any hints/clues to the correct answer might be seen as unfair by some of the contestants. I'm sure you understand.

Good luck!

Regards,
Me

OK no problem  Smiley

Usually these games do have some hints to guess the right answer and hence I asked.

I'm interested in participating in this contest but do I need to make 3 designs for Full, Sr and Hero Members? Or only 1 design will do?

Here is my entry for Sr. Members:

Will try to make more designs.
11807  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: May 15, 2015, 08:23:15 PM
I'm not clear on what double posting really is.

1 - Is it posting twice in a row in thread?  As Shorena already mentioned, I also don't have a problem with that, when it is addressing different points in the same thread, or to break up a long post.

OR

2 - Is it posting the same information (even exact duplicate) in 2 different threads?

Guess I should ask more clearly: if both, either or neither (1 & 2) are allowed?

I've seen a user this week, do some back to back posts, that were really odd - just quoting previous posts he'd made in the same thread.  That isn't appropriate, right?  (necro-posting)  If not, what is the best way to bring it to the attention of a moderator?

Thanks.

1. Posting twice in a thread is consecutive posting (double posting) and the posts get merged if noticed by the MOD. It's like bumping a thread twice within 24 hours which isn't allowed.

2. You can report those posts if they are duplicates but it's not called double posting I guess.
11808  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CONTEST: How many Bitcoin Penny™ coins are in the jar? on: May 15, 2015, 03:54:47 PM
Ninety-nine guesses so far. Can't we get ONE MORE person to play for an even 100 guesses? Grin

Good luck, everyone!

11809  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS leader, Baghdadi, says "Islam was never a religion of peace. on: May 15, 2015, 03:52:59 PM

Bah.

I'm certain if we check, we will find across the world a set of "radical mullahs" who fully support the actions of ISIS, and who so preach to their faithful flocks.

That is why the word "radical" is put in front of the word "mullah."

No more dis information, please.

The people known as "radical mullahs" who support the actions of the ISIS don't deserve to live as they are a threat to humanity. Their end will not affect us but their existence will affect us. I don't know what you think but it seems you believe that all Muslims are supporting the ISIS or such terror attacks? I just find it illogical if anyone comes out and blames religion for these actions and this proves that our world will never progress. What people used to think 1000 years ago, they think the same today. There was no education 1000 years back and today when there is, people don't seem to make use of it.

When earlier I used to believe that animals are unfortunate to be born in this world as they have no mind, today I find them the most fortunate of all as they don't belong to any religion. At least if they bite a person, nobody will be foolish to ask them their caste/religion/belief.
11810  Other / Meta / Re: Option "track/follow user" on: May 15, 2015, 02:58:03 PM

I have nothing to hide, it's just that I don't want users "stalking" me when it's not needed. I don't like knowing that there is a chance of people following me around when I do something. It's just my personal preference, although you can see my posts, I feel a little bit more safer? I like my privacy. If you know what I mean. I'm horrible at explaining.

Like the Block feature of Twitter?

This is an open forum and not to keep user's posts private or support privacy. In case of Twitter, it seems necessary to prevent bashers/bashing comments while it's not a necessity on this forum.
11811  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 15, 2015, 12:27:17 PM
Quote

He is a perfect example of why atheists don't get along with theists.  We understand everyone has their own belief, while they believe their belief is THE belief.  (understand?  lol)  They attempt to push their beliefs on us, while we believe everyone has the right to their own beliefs.

@bold: This is don't by both sides usually and I don't agree with both of them. One doesn't believe in God, fine. One believes in God, also fine. There's nothing to insult/abuse the persons who do/do not believe in God and I find many doing that when it comes to any topic that involves religion. I find the topic of religion just useless as what is the excuse to quote a religion for any kind of event/crime? Those people who commit crimes are simply inhuman/bad people who don't have the right to talk about God as they believe in the opposite.

So many protestants started forcing their belief on me and I simply ignored them and then they began criticizing me because I don't believe what they believe in. It's just insanity.

I believe in God and no matter if I am called anything, I will still believe in him. That's my belief and I will stand with it no matter what.
11812  Other / Meta / Re: I dont pay loan but guy take collateral worth 3 times more and call me scammer on: May 15, 2015, 12:14:58 PM
You know the meaning of a loan first of all?

If give take a loan from the bank of $1000 and give my property worth triple the amount and then don't pay the loan, the bank has a right to take over my property. As simple as it sound and then I cannot go about complaining to the bank to give me back my property. It's gone.

You dint lose 0.2 BTC but it's a term set by the loan giver that you agreed to. You dint fulfill the terms and hence the loss. There's nothing to complain and leave negative feedback to the loan giver. It's your fault to not payback the loan.
This is clear for me. I dont pay loan he take my collateral. He earn on this transaction. And read again i dont want give back my property. He call me scammer and type that my account worth 0.1BTC. I told him my account worth much more and i can buy it again if it worth 0.1BTC(and i told i can pay even more) that was after loan of course. And i dont scam, im not scammer and i dont care what you think. I never steal any bitcoin's. I can ask before take loan what with collateral becouse that was clear for me that if i cant pay loan he take my account and earn much more. And i know i have right.

IF you aren't complaining about him taking an account worth 0.3 BTC or more, then I clearly don't see any reason for anyone calling you a scammer. I don't know who sent the other member a negative feedback but in this case it should be removed from both the accounts as no scam has occurred. It just a loan defaulter case and since the loan giver has earned his loan amount, there is no need for anyone to crib about losing/earning money.

Next time kindly be careful while applying for a loan as if you don't pay it, you probably lose your collateral which may be worth more than the loan itself.
11813  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS leader, Baghdadi, says "Islam was never a religion of peace. on: May 15, 2015, 12:10:31 PM
Educating Muslims to carry weapons to fight for what? Their rights? Rights to rape, kill, terror and finish other human beings in the name of religion. A slaughter explaining the benefits of killing.

I don't think Muslims who know Islam goes for it but still, some people including non-Muslims and Muslims may go to earn money.

ISIS and his bloody conspirators tells whatever they like to make their conspiracy come true.

These people mainly target those people who are hurt by the Government or by other religions and have lost their family members due to a war or hurt due to similar events. Such people are emotionally weak and hence they don't mind joining these groups and kill others in the hope that their wounds will get some relief. When a person is weak, it's easy to mold them in a way you want and if one checks their members, half of them might be affected due to unfortunate circumstances and others might have been brain washed.

The fact is these leaders mostly don't do anything wrong themselves but they start forming groups who fight for them and harm others. These leaders sit back and enjoy the killing and since they have money, they get more and more people to join them.

This isn't a religious fight but they are just cruel monsters who don't care about their religion but hate humans.

You want to be notified via email about dozens of users? That will just spam your inbox with such notifications and I don't see any good use of having this feature.

So we need to find the value of h using the example?

I got h = 0.005. Is it right? I need to find the unit as well now if it's right.
11818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who are THEY? Are they Muslim? on: May 14, 2015, 08:19:18 PM
Which religion teaches you to kill other humans who belong to your own religion and to kill children who don't even know the meaning of the word religion?

It's disgusting when people blame a religion for a criminal offense and start indirectly defending these criminals.
