11841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pick One - For January 1 on: November 24, 2014, 12:30:38 PM
Monday - Nov 24, 2014

Bitcoin 70%
$101.67

Dollar 14%
$100

Gold 14%
$99.52

Not surprised as it was an easy choise for most of the people  Smiley

My fair guess is on January 1st that 0.275XBT will be worth $125+

I like both summer and winter. And since when is rainy a season?  Cheesy
11843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi ..Private key lost? on: November 24, 2014, 09:10:59 AM
They have not been touched even when the price was $1200 it would have made sense if he at least cashed out some coins.

These coins are most likely not accessible for whatever reason, or perhaps Satoshi simply doesn't care about money, also possible.

11844  Other / Meta / Re: Nearly 10M posts - who will it be? on: November 24, 2014, 12:51:18 AM
What's the prize?

Too bad there is no prize, at all. I think it would be great if would be some small prize like 10 btc to lucky poster. Do not you guys think that so?

Then how do you know who posts the 10,000,000th post?

People can manipulate it by deleting their own and their alt accounts posts.

There will be a fight between people claiming to have made the 10,000,000th post  Cheesy

Liverpool is just not interested in finishing high, that's all  Cheesy

What a difference with previous season, they can't seem to perform without Suarez.

Next matches for Liverpool are what seems "easy" but in their current form they might actually struggle to win.
11846  Economy / Speculation / Re: when to invest? on: November 24, 2014, 12:24:15 AM
Only invest in Bitcoin, don't look at altcoins.

If you feel this is the right time to invest some of your money, do it. Don't wait.

Current price level is perfect for investing in Bitcoin, hold them and see your coins gain value Smiley
11847  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect from bitcoin in December 2014? on: November 23, 2014, 08:23:58 PM
I do think we will see something happen before or just after christmas.

Hold your coins anyway, selling your coins now is a bad decision.

Payment Received

great! show us the coinbase tx related to the mined block, from where your payment came?

You can check that on your own by manually typing the Bitcoin address in a block explorer Smiley

Saves you a lot time, and you would have known it by now.
11849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: November 23, 2014, 04:02:06 PM
It's funny to see and know that newbies are mostly waiting for the price to go up before they buy anything.

And after they have bought, they most likely will complain and say ; Always when I buy it goes down, Bitcoin will never work.

They blame Bitcoin for their own failure  Cheesy
11850  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android vs iPhone on: November 23, 2014, 03:58:16 PM
I use both, Android and iOS, they both have advantages and disadvantages.

I'm really in love with my One+One android smart phone, can customize everything related to software, appearance, etc.

Never expected to like android that much as Apple user.
11851  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 22, 2014, 08:11:30 PM
I think Jurgen Klopp, currently trainer of Borussia Dortmund, will be a great addition for Arsenal. He said he would love to work in England.

He is not coming. I know loyalty means nothing in football these days but he is one I believe on his word. He just signed a new contract and says he will stay.

Never going to happen, but I think Benitez would be the ideal candidate right now. His contract expires after this season and he is keen to come back as his family resides in Liverpool. He is also somebody who tightens up a team and improves them defensively which is Arsenal's main problem now.

Signing a new contract mostly doesn't mean that much, and especially when Dortmund is just a few points above relegation spots.

Currently Frank De Boer from Ajax FC is going to leave after this season, he might join Tottenham, but Arsenal would be a better choise.
11852  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 22, 2014, 07:51:25 PM
Wenger needs to go now. He has done brilliantly to keep Arsenal afloat when they were in debt, but now he is just dragging them down. They are being consistently beaten by the top sides, and today's performance was pathetic.

Arsenal have lots of funds and a good team. A good manager backed properly can do wonders.

ManUtd got three very important points, they sit on spot four now  Grin

Arsenal plays the best football in England, but every year it's the same. Great football, no important prizes.

I think Jurgen Klopp, currently trainer of Borussia Dortmund, will be a great addition for Arsenal. He said he would love to work in England.

Lets say what if bitcoins price is being manipulated be some smart guys we don't know about.
Lets keep a open mind,it would be possible would it not? Some kind of failsafe hidden code only a few VIPs have?Maybe not even a code per say, lets just say their is a hidden protocol to cause a rise in price and their is a protocol to do the opposite. What if
?

Hidden code? Everything about Bitcoin is opensource.

If there were hidden codes they would already be seen by a lot people.

Yes everything we can see is open source. But their is a back door to everything in the virtual world.
If you think the entire technology is just open source you should reevaluate your education on programming.
The first rule is you don't ever lock yourself out of your own program,.

We're not talking about other technologies. We're talking about Bitcoin.

And again, it would have been noticed already if there were backdoors.

It's different, not sure if I like it that much, but everyone appreciates art in a different way.

How much did you pay for it?
11856  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 22, 2014, 06:28:58 PM
I have 500+GHs at pbmining.  I'm close to ROI so it won't matter so much.

You mind to tell us when you bought the GHS?

And are all the GHS bought or did you also gain GHS via referrals?
11857  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Anyone want 1 BITCOINS net or org on: November 22, 2014, 06:19:20 PM
Domain values have nothing to do with ad revenue, you have very few mega billion buck industries in the world, very few compared to how many words there are, so any one of them is a huge asset today, the reason is most of these industries have companies that spent billions creating a brand in that industry and the net is brandless, when someone goes to google or bing and types in insurance, all that money the big insurance companies spent is worthless, that's why so many people search for insurance and car insurance, a mega billion buck industry. Now that paid search has shown companies willing to fork over 50 to 100 bucks a click for these terms that means ownership and development of the main industry keyword.com makes all these assets huge assets. I would agree with OP that bitcoin.com is the gem and while i prefix are popular I'm not sure how they are valued, 25% or 10% or 5% of what the keyword.com is worth? Domain gurus would have a better idea. He says the big three TLD's are com/net/org, that's considered fact now in domain circles.

Now this is a bitcoin forum, so if you are going to find people interested in bitcoins and domains, this is the place, as well as domain forums probably. I would agree that any of those 18 domains he put out would all have development value to anyone into btc as a business.

Bitcoin is not a multi billion industry.

Domain value has a lot to do with ad revenue, there is a huge difference in just the domain, and that domain with ad revenue.

And, you and OP are probably the same person.

I'll go for 0.275BTC  Smiley

I think there will be some sort of rally just before or just after christmas.
11859  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Anyone want 1 BITCOINS net or org on: November 22, 2014, 02:49:42 PM
-snip-
I'd value bitcoin.com at 50m to 100M
-snip-

What makes you think bitcoin.com is worth between 50M to 100M??

btc.com has been "sold" for 1M, but I highly doubt some on really paid 1M for it.

Does anyone know who the owner of bitcoin.com is?
11860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which exchange can be seen as the most secure one for funds? on: November 22, 2014, 02:24:31 PM
Well, i can clearly say there is a risk with btc-e .  No one knows who owns the site, they are anonymous.
Knowing that, dont u feel they are unsecure ?

I agree about that no one knows them, but that's not necessarilly a bad thing, regulators have lesser influence in this situation.

But if the owners decide to run, then we are all lost as no one knows who they are.

Then again, each exchange ceo or anyone else that can access the funds can run, and you'll never see them again.
