11861  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 16, 2016, 09:38:43 AM
At first, I don't believe on this halving, but by reading different comments here I understand that saving is also a form of investment when it comes to bitcoin. I'm also waiting for it and hoping that it would be profitable even I have small amount of bitcoin.

You still dont understand anything about it. Halving is nothing more than a hype, hype to make people keep on buying bitcoin so the price will be higher than usual. The problem is that people will dump once the price is high enough and some people will be losing instead of getting profit

But still, i think halving will make the price of bitcoin increase and invest for now it's really good before halving come. It's like save your money too.

Bitcoin price will surely increase in halving. and people will get profit who saved their btc instead of investment.. but it doesn't mean that investment is completely useless or none profitable. personally I think investment is still better then only saving. halving still have 2 months to come if we invest in a good source we can make more and can increase our exist bitcoin at the rime of halving.
No one can guarantee that the halving reward will make the price of BTC surge. Some say that the price come July will have already factored in whatever effect halving will have. But nothing is sure. Let's not keep our hopes too high and temper our expectations.
yes actually there are no guarantees. but it can be increased, when a lot of people panic buying when approached halving.

Yeah, I'm wondering why the price is going up so slowly. ) Why is it uder $460 still? I think it's just a matter of weeks now when it will be over $500. Everyone who's considering to buy in the near future, you better do it now.
11862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: May 16, 2016, 09:22:25 AM
Keep always in mind the importance of money, the difficulties of getting it. No one can help you but just only yourself, make your mind running... For me staying away from gambling give me the chance to be productive so I can manage my time rightly and I can focus on most important things.

Good for you! Not many of us can controll ourselves as you do. Keep it up! I'd suggest to those who want to stop gambling just sit and think for a minute was it bad or was it good for you when you've gambled. And if it was bad, which is most likely, don't start doing bad things to yourself again.
11863  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2016, 08:47:34 AM
I am gonna make my own project that linked with gambling sphere, i don't really know how to realise it but i am learning about it. Also i am working with miners.
I think being a gambling site owner or cooperate with the gambling site would be a great thing and profitable. because you know that gambling sites will always win if the opposing players. and you profit from it

It's true that some sites have good profit from gambling, however most of them dissappear after two-three months of operating. It reminds me the situation with most of the altcoins - it's pretty hard to get public's attention to something new.
11864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 15, 2016, 06:57:38 PM
Do you think that in this year halving is a profitable???

Depends on what do you mean by profitable. The price is rising due to halving, it's true, but the difficulty is rising also, so it seems like those who mine will not lose at least and that's good.
11865  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Top Google result for blockchain is a scam site on: May 15, 2016, 05:44:17 PM
I always ignore ads. I ignore them so much so I almost don't see them anymore. Brain do the job, you don't see what you don't need.

But anyway, thanks OP, we should be careful with those phishing scums.
11866  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I hope I just hope Trump wins if clinton wins I am going to kill myself in mu h on: May 13, 2016, 03:42:14 PM
head

He should deport not only muslims but also niggers that have transformed the US into ghetto african mud huts i dont care if they were slaves i dont care about blacks they should all be rounded up and deported to tha jungle only then white power can continue to dominate as it has for at least 300 years

lets stop this now lets stop this political correctness and reclaim our cities reclaim our lands of white power its time to remove these vermin from our streets

damn talk about racism lol.

OP if youre at of age to vote then do so, and just know the politics is under no ones control but know its become a business rather then a election.

the only way you can save yourself is ignore every political race you see, and focus on what you need to do make a life style of your own.

I agree with this. Don't trust politicians, especially before elections. If Trump says he'll deport all the muslims out of the USA doesn't mean he'll do so (persomnally I'm not saying it should be done though). They almost never do what they promissed before.
11867  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 13, 2016, 03:03:35 PM
I think Bitcoin has the ability to destroy fiat system but this won't happen in th e near future. Maybe in 30 years, maybe in 50, but ont in 6 years. Things go slowly in reality, not as fast as we sometimes want.

But if we are talking about acceptance and usage I'd say the answer is: YES, Bitcoin will be used by almost everyone in 2022, one way or another.
11868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 13, 2016, 11:05:21 AM
You can be rich from gamble but only for a short period of time. If you are gambling a lot you will lose everything or almost everything you have in the long run. This was stated many times in different threads on this forum and it's true.
11869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Loss Ever. on: May 13, 2016, 09:24:06 AM
My biggest loss was 0.018 in one minute. Maybe not such big money to feel sad, but I did, that was big money for me. It was martingale wiith 50% win chance. Who would've guessed that you can lose 16 times in row with 50% win chance.
11870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never spent any savings on Bitcoin and I'm not broke on: May 13, 2016, 09:00:36 AM
If I had invested my savings in Bitcoin would it be more likely to be broke? Cheesy

Well, it depends on when you would invested. Of course if you'd bought BTC when it was around $1k you'd be broke but that bulb lasted only couple of months and you should be really unlucky to invest exactly at the time. But if you'd invested half a year ago when Bitcoin was around $300 you'd be richer than you are now.

11872  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 13, 2016, 08:30:19 AM
When it comes to who are more useful I can say that bitcoin is, gold is just a thing and we cannot use it our daily transactions. We cannot also assure that in the future the price of gold will rise, although it is already back from history that it will really rise but I find it boring to keep gold. Gold does not help the community, bitcoins does. So simple right?

Gold will always hold value in the future, it will never be worth zero.

Bitcoin however in 5 or 10 years time could be worth zero.

very unlikely and common misconception, probably they were saying the same thing when gold was "born"(in the sense that was find for the first time) at the beginning

I don't know about gold, that was long long time ago, but they were definitely saying the same about some newly invented things:

"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers."

Thomas Watson, president of IBM, 1943

"Television won't be able to hold on to any market it captures after the first six months. People will soon get tired of staring at a plywood box every night."

Darryl Zanuck, executive at 20th Century Fox, 1946

"There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home."

Ken Olsen, founder of Digital Equipment Corporation, 1977

etc.
11873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much do you earn from referrals on gambling sites? on: May 13, 2016, 08:09:18 AM
I voted Less than 0.1 BTC but actually I've earned absolutely nothing from refferals. I don't know how some people manage to earn some significant amounts from referrals, maybe they have a lot rich friends, idk.
11874  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2016, 08:02:22 AM
For me, i always said to my boyfriend that get into bitcoin cause he can buy the things he wants..but first thing hw must know is what is bitcoin  so i give him some link of the site in order for him to start

haha. So here we see that sometimes women motivate man to use Bitcoin. I like it. That's what I was expecting actually because I knew many women are using Bitcoin already and it's funny for them to see a discussion on how to motivate them to use it. )
11875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Micro dosing LSD on: May 12, 2016, 06:51:42 PM
There's no such thing as drug addiction. That's propaganda. Intelligent liberal people take drugs all the time and those drugs make them more intelligent. you should take big doses like I do.

Drugs are different, you know. You might become seriously addicted if you are using opiates, that's for sure. I think some other drugs are addictive also but most of them psychologically addictive (like gambling), but not physically like opiates.

11876  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: May 12, 2016, 02:21:01 PM
Earning a living with Bitcoin is possible but that means that you will have to invest allot of money into it to earn much money back. So for the people who do not have much money to spend it is not possible at this moment.

I disagree. It depends on how much do you need for living. In the beginning of 90s 10$ per month was enough for one person to live in Ukraine. It's not like this here anymore but I'm pretty sure there are some countries where situation is close to what was in Ukraine 25  years ago. But even if you need more, say $70 per month, it's possible to make this amount with a good sig campaign.
11877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2016, 09:32:36 AM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?

No man, you can't earn no easy cash, sorry. To make money is never easy and those who think otherwise often lose everything they have. Don't trust those who say they can easily double your money.
11878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheap electricity for mining Bitcoin on: May 12, 2016, 08:56:04 AM
I found a cloud mining contract on oxbtc is the cheapest maintenance fee i have ever seen.
If  you don't believe you can go to see then.
If you can cheaper than that, i will consider buying some from you.

And here we go again. "Cloud mining". "the cheapest maintenance fee i have ever seen". Guys are you even seriuos? Many many times it was said on this forum that cloud mining is a scam scheme, especially it offers "the cheapest maintenance fee". Please don't fall for that.
11879  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: May 12, 2016, 08:31:24 AM
Many people in this thread, including me, predict that in 20 years Bitcoin will cost from $10k to $20k. Of course those numbers make sense only if the buying capacity of USD will be the same as it is today.

In short to retire in 20 years you'll need from 100 to 200 BTC.
11880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 12, 2016, 08:22:24 AM
Bible does not say or mention that it's a sin, but Bible mentioned something about love of money or greed. If it's for fun or entertainment I guess it's not considered as a sin.

I agree. Greed is a bad thing for you. Even those of us who are not reading Bible or any other religious book know that. It's hard to not become greedy if you gamble but if you managed to do that than gamble is not a sin, I guess )
