11881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [2019-02-06] Locked bitcoins in QuadrigaCX might be another exit scam. on: February 07, 2019, 04:09:40 AM
why on Earth they didn't used multisig wallet?

There are a lot of stories, one of them said that Quadriga did in fact used a multisig wallet. But it doesn't matter if they don't have the money in the first place. Lots of people are starting to do their own chain analysis to find out where exactly does Quadriga store their money. Everything related to Cryptocapital sounds very shady now.
Oh that's what some other stories about this incident. I guess some of the evidence are going to come out few days from now. And base on the facts that has been gathered by the posts above looks like some shady activities were part of this incident.

11882  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: February 06, 2019, 07:46:51 AM
Now is the ideal time to invest, I would have invested all ETH for the first month, then XRP, and then I looked at interesting coins that sank heavily from the TOP 20, growth will be anyway, and it will happen soon.
Good strategy, I have invested to ethereum as well and $1,000 would be ideal to diversify for coins like bitcoin, ethereum and other top coins that has fallen recently. The market keeps on moving badly but for those enthusiasts, we can see on how this would affect the market positively by giving a chance for all to have an entry to the market with such existing prices. Buy while the market isn't too high and it's market cap has reached the highest again, nothing to regret for buying now.
11883  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: February 06, 2019, 06:58:54 AM
$35,000 - $40,000 for this year? I highly doubt it will be reached. I know the fact that bitcoin is full of surprises but I can't any hint or reason for bitcoin to reach that price this year. We will be there but not for 2019, I think it's possible by 2020 onwards if it will happen for this year, many will rejoice that it's earlier achieved.

Ive heard  from other people lately that bitcoin will likely to reached 25,000$ within this year.
Let's hope so and that's a very nice price to achieve.
11884  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: February 06, 2019, 06:29:56 AM
It's a fact to push the market demand's to go to the top again is through having a massive adoption. And  Amazon's acceptance of bitcoin would definitely give that increase that everyone is thinking of. There's a rumor posted by CZ on his twitter that Amazon is likely to create their very own token and that will be surely used by their customers who are into crypto and will give it a try for most. As long as there's adoption it will trigger the market to become better again.
11885  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [2019-02-06] Locked bitcoins in QuadrigaCX might be another exit scam. on: February 06, 2019, 05:56:35 AM
I'm not familiar with QuadrigaCX until it was on the news with  some bad exposee that the owner was totally dead. I don't have 100% source that the owner is totally dead. I have read some comments that it truly might be an exit scam and they haven't  shown an actual proof that guy was caught dead. I hope that this case wouldn't be the same as Mt.Gox. It's a lot of money that they have locked and why on Earth they didn't used multisig wallet?

11887  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-31]Fujitsu Develops Blockchain-based Power Exchange System on: February 01, 2019, 08:39:29 AM
Fujitsu is a quite popular company in the world and is one of the biggest players in electric industry so their influence will gain attention for this kind of adoption.

Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. announced that they have devised a system in which electricity consumers can efficiently exchange the surplus electricity they have produced through their own electricity generation or power savings.
And this is one hell of innovation, more powers to save.

11889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 24, 2019, 12:46:57 PM
Gambling is a total waste of time and money for those who doesn't really gamble. They see bad sides of the gambling but they don't understand on what it feels to be an intense gambler and becoming attached to it. Yes, addiction isn't good and getting to it with too much gambling will definitely give you a bad future. But just understand and respect those real gamblers that doesn't even bother to say bad thing to those people that doesn't gamble at all, what matter is that we should mind our own business.

11891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big day for ETH on: January 15, 2019, 11:39:14 PM
The fork will happen on January 16, 2019 - right?
Nope, it's delayed.

So do you think this can be a great day for ETH or just a normal update?
Not a normal update, it's an upgrade and do you think such upgrades can be a normal one? It's a great day for ETH but as the news said, it has been delayed.

The price right now is not making any big move, what do you think will happen tomorrow?
Because of its delay, the price plunged.
11892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash? on: January 15, 2019, 02:20:43 PM
How many times that exchanges got hacked? is there something new that we can think of? there's almost no effect with the said hack. The price of the crypto market didn't even crashed.

It's still stabilizing and why it should crash? unless the hackers start to dump all of the coins that they bought. And these hacks can't be also be said as real penetration because on the history, there were some hacks done as inside job.
11893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Blockchain projects do we really need? on: January 15, 2019, 12:06:05 PM
We need those factors that you mentioned but as for the 'blockchain projects'. Most of them just created a token that really has no use at all, it's a total waste of effort for the developers and waste of money for the investors. If there's a united community that will just support an entire focused coin such as bitcoin. These new projects will be out of the market quickly, why? there's no one who's willing to support and invest money to them which is their main focused.
11894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: January 15, 2019, 11:22:46 AM
-Next halving is in less than two years: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
If you don't know what halving is, just remember that halving means less BTC mined means price increase.
We are very near and 1 year and 4 months to be exact. This is what I'm waiting for. I'm already immune with these FUDs that are being spoken by hopeless people. They probably sold at the dip and lost a lot of money, I feel sorry for them or they were those people who made much during the last ATH and wanted to discourage others. Any of their current situation, they don't care with others feeling. And as for the remaining faithful holders and do has enough experience with such dips and correction, mostly are ignoring those fuds.
11895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market improve in 2019? on: January 15, 2019, 10:42:17 AM
Many people have lost a lot in 2018.They hope that the market environment will be better in 2019.But I think that if we want the market to recover, we need to wait for two years.
I'm hopping that it will not happen that what you are thinking, that we need to wait for two years. We pray and hopping that this year 2019 the market will recover.
You just can't control the unwanted things and events that might come to the market. 2018 was a very tough year and to be honest, I'm still thinking that we haven't got out of that year. 2019's start can't be measure as of the moment because we're just half of the first month and things can way go further for the next months. The market will definitely improve not just in terms of pricing but in terms of analysis, fundamentals and adoption.
11896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto backed assets on: January 14, 2019, 09:21:53 AM
The other crypto that's backed by assets are the exchange coins such as kucoin shares, binance coin and other tokens that are owned by big exchange companies.
But are they really backed by something? Of course holding those tokens gives you a "dividend" of some sort, but it's not like they are comparable to stocks where you actually own a part of the company...
Yes, they really backed by something. They are company and that's most of the companies in the stock market do. They are back by the service and operation that they do. The fees that they collect and listing fees from another coin that wants to penetrated their exchange are their source of income. And that means, they are backed by a real company that's registered and operates. They make money and profit through their services and their product is their exchange itself.
11897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Guys! amazing Do you know Funkey Pay? on: January 14, 2019, 07:35:48 AM
I'm not aware of this funkey pay. What's the website? there are same projects that I've seen before but neither of them became successful or maybe few of them were.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be the start of launching an ICO for that coin, I have not read it yet and it seems it is not yet in the announcement thread, people here has a short memory, so better wait for the announcement before shilling this coin.
It's going there and it has mentioned 'Tokenize' so it's probable.
11898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 14, 2019, 06:54:19 AM
for me yes, i open a loan to buy the dip. it's because im willing continue to invest the bicoin.
It's not enough that you are willing to invest in bitcoin just to take loans. Debts will not help you along your way, let's say you are successful investing but the result will come after an unexpected time. It might take few more years and the question is, how long you are willing to pay for that debt? to get out of rat race, you should be financially free and no debts at all. If you are willing to invest to bitcoin, you need to sacrifice few things that you are spending with your money. Those money that you spend for leisure time would be a good sacrifice.
11899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin? on: January 11, 2019, 10:35:31 AM
Go with their background. If the team is unknown and doesn't have any good track record, I'll start going away with those coins. But if the team is known and keeps on working very hard for the progress of a coin, you should consider that coin. Why are you going with the new coins? it's good to stay with the coins that are already established. They may somehow expensive but the volume of these coins can give you the profit that you wanted if it moves even to a small increase.
11900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its Ethereum on: January 11, 2019, 10:01:29 AM
You're right, it's just an upgrade and there's no need to worry or think out of this world ideas about the constantinople upgrade. And usually when fork happens the price also upgrades which means to say that the price is also taking the positive effect of that fork. ETH is a good coin and Vitalik is still in the process of developing it for a better future. ETH is a good coin and this is why its standing still and rated as one of toughest and good coin to invest with.
