are they really selling 500k bitcointalk database ?!!?!??!

Now that is a major bummer and security breach ....

What do you mean? Are you pointing out to CCtalk.io or any other forum? Try to be more specific of what you are saying.
@CCtalk.io alamin, I visited your forum but it seems that you've got a very low traffic. And you did run a signature campaign or pay per post on your forum? As I visited cointalk, I was redirected to cctalk and was able to read this

12823  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Really high fees? on: November 02, 2017, 11:38:27 AM
SO if We use from Electrum , it`s fee is very very normal and low Huh or this site follows Blockchain rules too ?

what we shold do now?

please help me

I have an electrum wallet and do trades with my some of my bitcoins there but the thing on electrum. I only trust it's security but with it's fee it's higher than blockchain.info. If you want to have some lower fees, you can go with blockchain.info this is the web wallet that I've known so far that is even more charging lower fees. You can also set the fee on your transaction if you want to pay lower fee but expect that it will take a lot of time so make sure that you don't need it on a rush.
12824  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: November 02, 2017, 11:11:30 AM
Last week, it was reported that the Bitcoin transactions going in and out of the country has reached over $6 million, and now the Central bank of the Philippines will be issuing new guidelines regarding Bitcoin legality.

They gave no hint as to what their plans are, but officials from the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas gave positive remarks, and even mentioned that cryptocurrency may help in the progress of the country.

There are so many bitcoin users on the Philippines and it's leading exchange can't even cater the queries of their clients. There are exchanges that are being licensed by the BSP and it was officially told that the government is supporting bitcoin/cryptocurrencies. For those people that wants to know the link here you go http://www.philstar.com/banking/2017/09/05/1735769/bitcoin-operators-under-bsp-scrutiny as the price is growing now. Expect more transactions will come up.
12825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak and correction coming on: November 02, 2017, 10:53:39 AM
This train shows no sign of slowing down. Already above $7100. HODL.
No sign and it can probably continue up until the hard fork ends. Why people are keep on thinking when there's a rapid increase for bitcoin's price, it's a bubble? How many times did those people who hates the pump that bitcoin is a bubble. If it is on a bubble it did popped even before reaching $2,000 but it didn't and now it's getting far and getting close to another milestone. We are expecting a correction but that's not going to stop people from investing, it's a buy back time when correction is happening.
12826  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there legit mining site? on: November 02, 2017, 10:33:27 AM
Cloud mining sites mostly end in a scam so don't waste your time and money in finding a good one to invest instead buy some good coins with that money and sell at high to make a profit.
Most of them are scams and I'm not advising any of my friend nor any member here to invest to those cloud mining websites. We do have only one thought on the cloud mining websites, they are all scams for us. There are remaining some operating that has real support and mining farm. But still it's better to stay to this type of investment, cloud mining contracts are absurd. If I were you, don't believe those contracts it's much better to hold your bitcoins out there.
12827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to $14 million on: November 02, 2017, 10:12:16 AM
Nice computation I didn't have any idea on how much the world has total assets. But talking about millions of bucks? I'm only thinking about with John McAfee's prediction about eating his D on national TV if bitcoin will not reach $500,000. It is my only hope but this will be the time that every person that has 1 bitcoin will belong to the millionaires club and this world will be totally turned into a world of cryptocurrency. Every transaction will be cashless, can't wait for this day.

You're welcome.

We need a lot more guys/gals like you around here.... A small gesture like this goes a long way to improve Bitcoin's reputation

amongst all those people complaining about the delays and the miners being greedy. OP, this is definitely not a normal situation,

because I have done several tx's lately with the minimum fee and it all got confirmed within 30 minutes.  Tongue

Thank you for your good service ---> blockman

I just found it out a weeks ago about that free transaction accelerator so whenever I see someone that is struggling like this, it's nothing unusual if few seconds of my time will be used for just copy pasting the TXID and pressing the accelerate button. Thanks for appreciating my simple act guys.

12830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at all time high $6000 on: November 01, 2017, 02:14:46 PM
Bitcoin hitting $6000 is not a surprise. After the first fork, I understood fully then that this coin will be going places it terms of price. Expect it to hit $10 very soon. I suspect that by January, it will happen.
Actually it did really surprised me as I'm tracking the price most of the time. It surprised me when it was able to pass $2,000 then went up to $3,000 and so on and today we are now here at $6,000 that's something that everyone should be celebrating. And just to correct your expectation, expect it with the price of $10,000 soon. January is a good guess for that price but I think it's probably going to happen on the mid year of 2018 and not on 1st quarter.

Great ! And Which sites are you using to track out the prices most of the time , blockman ?

I'm only tracking the price with www.preev.com this is a real time price tracker for bitcoin and it has an option to change it's equivalent value with USD to your local currency. Have you ever visited that or heard it already?

No, in my opinion, with the current momentum growth of Bitcoin, I think the Bitcoin price can reach at the end of Q1 or begin of Q2 2018. Because in that time is the Lunar new year of some countries in Asia. Of course, one of large country has a lot of Bitcoin is China also need to have money for new year. Do you think the Chinese trader want to sell Bitcoin with low price? Roll Eyes

Well if that's going to happen on first - second quarter of year 2018 then let it happen. Those events you did mentioned are going to give a big effect for the price of bitcoin as those Chinese will mostly think about luck and investments so money will flow again next year.
12831  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin in legal sense on: November 01, 2017, 01:55:07 PM
Only Japan and South Korea legal bitcoin. For my country, my government not yet legalized bitcoin.
I hope someday my government will legalized bitcoin. Because bitcoin can help country in economic side.

Not only Japan and South Korea if you have missed Malaysia and Australia if I'm not mistaken bitcoin there is already legal and is being supported by the government. By the way, if you don't mind in what country do you live? Also in Philippines bitcoin is also legal as someone posted it here on forum about this news http://www.philstar.com/business/2017/08/19/1730418/bsp-approves-registration-2-bitcoin-exchange-operators
And cheer up that your government will legalized bitcoin, very soon.
12832  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal bitcoin or illegal bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 05:05:56 PM
Bitcoin seems legal, but altcoins can't say. There is more to it.
Altcoins are also legal if there are no laws on certain place where you are living. Bitcoin is real legal and the people that are taking the advantage of it's anonymity are the ones who are using it for their illegal activities and that's why some other countries government treats it as an illegal currency. And for raymart0720's question about why we are eager to earn more bitcoin is because the price is increasing and we don't want to miss that moment earning great profit.

12834  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: October 31, 2017, 04:02:43 PM
I was thinking of selling my bitcoins for cash. Is it perfectly legal to do so ? Amount is close to 3-4K.

Thanks for reading.
In what country do you live? I have read some news about people somewhere on a state in the US that did trade with localbitcoins and traded personally a customer. He was filed a complaint regarding since their city does have a law regarding bitcoin that it is illegal. Good to know that you asked it first before doing some deal and what you can do is to know about the ruling on your country and their stand about bitcoin. If you found no rules about it, you're fine.
12835  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: October 30, 2017, 10:53:47 PM
The biggest country that illegalized to use bitcoins is Russia... I think that their goverment just wants to control everything... They just don't realise that bitcoins - is the most powerfull currency for now, and they can't just stop it, even in their own country
I haven't read any news that Russia started to say that bitcoin is illegal. And if bitcoin is illegal then what do you think about their shitcoin cryptoruble that they will be launching soon? And besides, I think Russia is not part of Asia, it's a big country and many says it's part of Europe. And for the OP, most of the countries in Asia are supporting bitcoin. Philippines, Japan, China and only few Asian countries are getting out of their interest about bitcoin so they say it's illegal.
12836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoins are stolen on: October 30, 2017, 10:40:49 PM
Hello everyone,

Today ive checked my wallet and everything is gone! i have to say my computer is fresh it is reinstalled yesterday and didnt download anything weird.
my wallet was electrum, im almost sure electrum has stolen my money becouse they know exactly everything and the adress where it has send to has over 10 million euro in bitcoins traded

pleas can someone help me im realy sad

You really sure that you never downloaded anything on the internet that's suspicious? Do you remember if there are link that you have clicked and required some information regarding your private key? I think you are a victim of phishing. As you said that your bitcoins has been sent to a wallet that has 10 million euro's worth in bitcoin and that's for sure an exchange, so whomever the hacker is probably sent those coins to an exchange. Please provide more info, like your wallet address.
12837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u think bitcoin value in 2018 will be $ 15K? on: October 30, 2017, 10:21:16 PM
Do u think bitcoin in 2018 will be $ 15K?

What is your idea guys?
It's possible, we never thought that the price of bitcoin will be reaching $6k for this year. Everyone was only considering that $1,000 is the floor price and this will be stable until the end of the year. And there are some predictions that this year will be another great year for bitcoin that will be having a new ATH of $1,500. Comparing it to those speculations, $15,000 on 2018 is very possible and it has a big chance to happen after these forks will be done.
12838  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building Bitcoin ATMs on: October 30, 2017, 10:10:26 PM
My friends and I are considering building bitcoin ATMs. We're still doing the necessary research and planning and we've been looking at existing ATMs like Lamassu. Based on what they've been reporting online (and other sources), it seems to be a pretty profitable business.

We understand that there are lots of regulations involved depending on the country of residence, but we are considering just building and selling the machines, not operating them. Off the bat, are there any other important considerations we should know? Red flags? Any feedback will be appreciated.
Why are you only considering to do build and sell those ATM machines. If you are one of the pioneers on Lamassu to have that type of business, the competition will not be tough to you. But expect that there will be competitors that are going to come out when they see that your business has no competitor. I'm curious about the current research that you are doing. Could you share us on what are your gathered information base on your plans and research?
This is right if I do have the knowledge and the resources on bitcoin atm's then this would really give you some serious fortune and as being said you wont really have any competition knowing that bitcoin isn't known yet globally or on most countries on the world which if there are some several bitcoin users on your place then it would be an advantage.Later on selling out or exporting these atms will extent possible income.

There's no manipulation, no competition and why not take over the whole business industry of having an ATM all over Lamassu. But if they are a start up company, it's also good to take the risk for covering all ATM's on the places where they started to conduct researches. Profit for generating transactions of Bitcoin ATM + being a manufacturer itself of those ATM's that will also entertain international orders, why not give it a try right?
12839  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you want to get paid in ETH or Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 09:56:44 PM
Are there any pay roll services for bitcoin and ETH?

I find this article interesting https://risepeople.com/blog/why-some-companies-pay-employees-in-bitcoin/ and yes there are so many employees now that are paid with bitcoin, eth and other crpyto so you should know that now mate.

As a Blockchain developer or professional would you be happy to get paid in a cryptocurrency?

Yes, of course as I'm embracing bitcoin now and it's one of the privilege that I'm going to have as a professional or just a simple office worker. I don't have to buy bitcoin so it helps me to save a lot of time.

Sure with smart contracts - an ethereum based app is ideal for the gig economy?

I'm not a fan of ETH / smart contracts.

Thanks Blockman!!

Don't mention it man, I think you are still not that broad in terms of knowing those companies that are paying bitcoin or eth to their employees. And to follow with the discussion there are people out there that chose to get paid in ETH only. I won't blame them for choosing ETH since bitcoin fees are sometimes too high and there's a delay in the confirmation of transactions. But to support that, fees are lowered again and I'll still stay with bitcoin salary/payment.
