11922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would You Drop Your Current Bitcoin Exchange For One That Allows Paypal Payments on: May 04, 2015, 05:41:15 PM
With digital goods, PayPal is too risky to use as chargebacks cannot be avoided even with a solid proof. Bitcoins, gift cards or any other digital product cannot come with a purchase receipt and hence there is no way to confirm that the product is shipped (via email or pms). Till PayPal does not change its terms and conditions and removes the chargeback option, it's not preferable to exchange BTC for PP.
11923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to buy Bitcoin by payza? on: May 04, 2015, 04:07:53 PM
Verify your Payza account (which requires your ID proof and address proof) and then you can buy bitcoins at a 2% fee from Payza website itself.
11924  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Marital Rape a Crime? on: May 04, 2015, 12:28:34 PM
Marriage is definitely not a joke, but it has been rounded up in a mushi act by all "eternal love" books and romantic art. What marriage is planned to be is an economic union and to guarantee the rights of each side in the family. If the husband and wife love each other - great, if not - well there can never be a full happiness. Cheesy

Marriage is not a joke but men are making it a joke these days by getting married to a woman and thinking they own her. The marriages that used to be a lifetime commitment earlier does not even make sense these days. Whether love or arranged marriages, it is necessary for both the partners to respect and trust each other rather than be deeply in love. These days people believe in trial and error and then such cases of marital rape and assault are revealed.

There are so many celebrities as well who have been victims of such crime and they come out with it while some hide it just to save the marriage. It's not a sacred relationship that you need to stick to it just for the sake of being in a legal relationship and the man takes advantage of this helplessness.
11925  Other / New forum software / Re: A few neat ideas... on: May 04, 2015, 10:16:08 AM
These two suggestions have already been discussed and I would prefer also prefer having an automatic bump feature just like we have the option to Lock/Delete a thread. The Like option would make a thread look unpleasing as I have seen posts which get 150+ likes and the look is quite disturbing.
11926  Other / Politics & Society / Re: My mommy bought me an education, am I smart now? on: May 04, 2015, 09:37:01 AM
Buying a degree has become quite common today. Feel disgusted to see such people getting jobs instead of those who deserve and who have suffered for years to earn a degree. You can get to know by talking to such people whether they are educated or not.

What I feel is, people should give chance to talent, capabilities and skills of someone rather than just seeing the education of one, as there are few things which capable people can do and educated ones can't. The thing here is, buying education won't be beneficial in the life of one who bought it. That doesn't mean illiterate people can't do anything.

I feel that illiterate people already get jobs they are capable of. Some Illiterate people cannot count numbers, cannot program a code, cannot read or write while some illiterate people can do the above in spite of being one.

If companies start employing illiterate people, it would create an inferiority complex in them as they would have to work with other highly literate people.

That's why it's preferred for a person to complete their education as there is no age limit for this and then they can get a job they wish. People who buy education in any case are unable to do anything and there are less chances to get a good job.

You want $302 via Skrill for 1 BTC? That's too much I guess as most trade for 5-10% more. I also want to exchange my Skrill funds but the rate is too high  Sad

11929  Other / Meta / Re: How to get added in Default Trust List? on: May 03, 2015, 03:51:17 PM
Be active in trading and helpfulness.

The less you care about DefaultTrust status; the more likely you're to be added.

I dont care about being added or not.
Actually I dont get this trust system and just had a question in my mind.
I thought they were decided earlier when forum was made and on later stage I thought everyone who has a green trust is in default trust.
But no, I saw many people with green trust but not in default trust list so I decided on to ask about it in Meta.

I would be happy if I help the forum and do some good trades and eventually I will be added in the default trust list.

Regards,
~Rony

I honestly find the default trust list not good enough as some are abusing it as well. Only if a member wants their feedback to be valued and they want to prevent scams, being added to the default trust list would be beneficial but by doing successful trades wouldn't be enough to get in that list. It's the trust feedback/negative feedback that matters and gives you a reputation on the forum which you can earn even without being on the default trust list.

Checking your trust ratings, it appears that you haven't given any reference link which can make your feedback valid. It's important to specify a reference.
11930  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie PM warning on: May 03, 2015, 09:35:12 AM
There is an issue with this warning as it gets quoted in the message text. Two newbies sent me PMs and by mistake I quoted the complete message and they also got to see the warning "!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!" I am now editing the quotes in the message text but it's quite time consuming to do it all the time.

Can't this be rectified?
11931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Net Neutrality in India on: May 02, 2015, 05:11:27 PM

I agree with you except one thing. Christians schools' majority of staffs are Christians but in Muslims schools it isn't like that. They recruit non-Muslims too just like Hindu schools.

Who said that?  Shocked

I studied in a Convent school and I had mostly Hindu teachers. Yeah, it was run by Nuns but because it is a convent school and Government aided. I honestly never considered religion as an important factor and hence I never noted the religion of my teachers or friends but now I am feeling that religion is a very important factor. Is it so important?

When anybody asks me how many employees are there in my office, I saw 4000 employees are there. I don't say 500 Muslims, 200 Catholics, 100 Hindus and so on.

I'm sorry but this sounds quite odd when somebody discriminates in terms of religion/caste/country/culture. If a person is injured on the road, I don't ask them what religion they belong to as first they are human beings.

I don't like my own religion as except me, 90% of catholics give importance to the word RELIGION. I don't agree with their views nor their beliefs. I asked a priest to bless my grandmother's grave and he said it's not his job. From that day, I felt there's no use of being a catholic or belong to any other religion as all they care is for themselves. If you are a good human being, I am your friend else not.

All Gods are one. No matter how God looks like.
11932  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 02, 2015, 04:31:25 PM
It's weird that the bitcoins just arrived in your account and it got transferred in 1 minute. All say that Electrum is safe and this cannot happen unless your PC has been compromised. The transaction note as well is weird and if it's an error from Electrum, you can expect your money back as this might have happened with many other users as well.

Shall I contact electrum do you think?

Definitely do that. It seems to be an error from their end and I hope you get your money back.

Also, try to restore your computer to an earlier date when it was working fine to delete any virus (in case it was infected).

It's weird that the bitcoins just arrived in your account and it got transferred in 1 minute.

That isn't weird at all. This happens all of the time with hacked brainwallets etc

So fast? You mean his account was hacked from first? It's quite unlikely and since I have no experience with electrum, it can be a possibility.

11934  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Rixty Online Entertainment Card worth $25 for $20 on: May 02, 2015, 02:29:02 PM
I want to sell a $25 worth Rixty Online Entertainment Card for $20. If anyone wants to buy this card, they need to first pay half the amount to book it and I will be receiving the card after 3 weeks after which I will send the code to the buyer after he makes the complete payment. Since I am going to order this card (that I earned), the buyer needs to pay half the amount to book it as if I book it now and sell it after I get it, it won't be of any use to me.

If I don't receive the card after 3 weeks (the source is trusted and hence there are less chances), I will refund the amount that was paid to me by the buyer.

What's a Rixty Entertainment Card.

11935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll - Where are the most lies told? on: May 02, 2015, 02:24:17 PM
Aren't the most lies told by ourselves to ourself? in our own heads? Aren't we constantly trying to convince ourselves with petty excuses just to make us feel better? So much so we do not even notice we are lying to ourselves?

That's not lies but it's a hope that we have in ourselves. We try to look at the world in a different way to make ourself feel better else life will be terrible and once our hope breaks, we ourself will break and will be shattered. When I hear news reports or hear about crimes, I lie to myself that it may not happen with me but if I live with the thought that I will be the next one, how will I lead a normal life. This is a hope that keeps me alive and it's not lies that is harmful for me but it works like a medicine.

Lies are those facts that we try to hide from others and that can cause harm to others. If we also lie to others with an intention to harm others, it is considered a lie. Politicians, BCT members or even others to some extent lie to others but to cheat them and those lies cause them harm. Harmless lies cannot be considered as lies.

Thanks dear but I don't go first with anyone. My personal reasons as I have had a bad experience already and don't want it to repeat.

I understand but not all people are bad and not all people are scammers! I have got scammed too but I would trust this guy for until 10 BTC! Doesn't necessarily mean you must  trust him too Smiley

I just want to send you 1 USD no exchange, just to send you 1 to confirm myself.

I don't get why you need to confirm yourself as I will deal with people only whom I have dealt with before with regards to PayPal. I am also having an exchange on EMS forum and there as well I only deal with the Moderator or members who I have been dealing with 2+ years. I can't trust people who even have millions of trust here with regards to PayPal as my account may be blocked if they have any issues with their account. This forum is very fishy as the amount of scams that have taken place here haven't taken place on the other forum or any other forum I have visited. Hence for me to trust any member here is almost NIL.

Thanks for your offer but I can't accept your $1 as I haven't earned that but you are giving me as a gift/for trusting you.
11937  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Net Neutrality in India on: May 02, 2015, 01:32:46 PM

That depends upon the individual opinion. During the last UPA government, they undertook many measures to favor the Muslims and Christians. Two years ago, I happened to visit Southern India on a vacation. I was visiting a few beaches and resorts in the province of Kerala.

Kerala is one of the regions with a Hindu minority in India. According to the official census, Hindus are some 55% of the population. But in reality only 15% to 20% is Hindu, as the remaining has converted to other religions. These people input "Hindu" in census forms, only to obtain the quota benefits which are given to lower castes.

I was there for a few weeks, and it was very clear that the (real) Hindus constituted an oppressed class, with the Christians dominating every sphere. There is some discrimination against the Muslims also, but they are mostly tolerated by the Christians. Even I got lucky in many places, due to my Christian-sounding name. And now comes the interesting part. The UPA government introduced "minority scholarships" for students from the Christian and Muslim communities, amounting to some $30 per month (which is a big amount in Kerala). The real minority (Hindus) is left with nothing.

Another interesting scenario is from the province of UP, where the chief minister there promised to give $2,000 to every Muslim girl of marriageable age (only to Muslims, nothing for the Hindus). And also in the state of Bengal, there is a $100 per month stipend for Muslim clerics, while many of the Hindu priests are starving. Remember that all this is from tax payer money.

During the UPA government, although Manmohan Sngh was the nominal head of the state, every single decision was taken by Sonia Maino, who is a Roman Catholic. She had a closed ring of associates, selected from the Roman Catholic community, who effectively ran the country (including Margaret Alva, AK Anthony, Oscar Fernandes, YSR Reddy.etc).

With such blatant discrimination perpetrated by the UPA, how can you blame Modi for hidden plans? Did he introduced any such plans for Hindu students?

This is the first time I am hearing about Hindus being the minority when actually they are the majority and most of them aren't converted. In my Engineering college, there were 50% Catholics and 50% Hindus as it was a Catholic college and I have seen mostly on Hindus as the majority in India. Muslims, Christians and Parsis are minorities.

If some are being biased for Christians, then many are being biased for Hindus (whether Maharashtrians & Gujaratis). Most people in the ministry are Hindus. Basically if Catholics get some benefit with respect to education, I don't see what's the harm. I got admission being in the minority group and got a scholarship while OBC students got 90% of their fees back as they belong to the OBC group. My college charged me about INR 50,000 for the admission and hence the benefit as well was useless as I had to pay an extra amount.

Like this, there are minority quotas for many people. People who have been in Government jobs get their family members into that job after they retire. Parsi people also have their own benefits and similarly Hindus. some are benefited while some aren't.

I have seen the discrimination with regards to Muslims and most buildings don't allow Muslims to stay with Hindus in Mumbai and that's to avoid any kind of fights.

Find yourself a job and earn money instead of stealing money. Anyways, you have an internet connection but don't have any money? That's surprising that you prefer surfing that spending that money to eat.
