Yes, it calculates the total amount that has been sent to any of your payment addresses

Is there a way to see our “payment addresses” and can we make donations to the forum by sending BTC to these addresses as opposed to the standard 17RTTUAiiPqUTKtEggJPec8RxLMi2n9EZ9 address?
11962  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BTCC Mint 2018 V-Series One and One Tenth Bitcoin - Official Launch on: August 30, 2018, 06:27:44 PM
Every customer is unhappy with this series and what does BTCC ? -> A solution ? No

 Huh

I am truly sorry to hear that you're very disappointed about the metallic qualities of the 2018 Titanium coins. Your best solution is to reach out to BTCC Mint customer support to ask for a full refund or replacement.

it really is just a mess all around. its so very hard to give the benefit of the doubt here.

Very good point.  Have you reached out via PM to their BTCC account?  I'd be curious to know how the promised refunds are going to take place.

11965  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda, MinerJones, Blazed | Missing escrow funds on: August 29, 2018, 07:35:47 PM
what is still missing is the prove that this is the correct amount.

i dont care about the money. telegram is full of messages that you get XX.XX$ and that this is more than you have invested. But in BTC you lost 55%.
and i dont really care about this neither.

i just cant stand the ignorance and the arrogance of the escrows. and what is even worth is that a lot of people just say: "hey, I get some money back. I dont care how this was handled and calculated".

to give some money back is just a loop hole.

Ya, that amount is literally hundreds of BTC away from what has been determined in this thread, correct?

It seems nobody was happy with the development, so no more than 30% of the BTC should have ever been released.  They said that one of the recipients refused their share, so the amount should have actually been lower.  Then you have all the altcoins and forked coins, which made up a hefty sum that should have resulted in most of the BTC if not all being recovered for investors, no?  How they could lose 55% of their BTC while in escrow with no product to show for it is insane.  Escrows walking away with a payday in this scenario is absolutely fraudulent.  I really hope they decide to do the right thing in the end, but as has been stated on Lauda's trust feedback long ago, "Sometimes hope for betterment is wasted."

Also ,  you get NO public address..  so then where is your bitcoins..Huh

If my understanding of their system is correct...  I believe the answer to this question is that they are no longer your bitcoins, but you do have the ability to spend your assigned BTC balance on their private blockchain network.

I ask for LOVE, and not HATE.   Smiley

Peace.
Bobby

I have never been a fan of big companies entering this market for many reasons I won’t go into here, and feel BTCC made many mistakes in the design and implementation of their coins that could have been avoided with a simple consultation with other experienced coin makers.

That being said, you are clearly not here scamming people, and as a member of this community all I can do is apologize on behalf of the way you’re being treated here. You’ve stated the inferiority of the metal used, the multiple hands involved in the process that can add oversights, and how you support refunds for unhappy customers. I’m not sure what else you can do at this point.

I own no BTCC products and would even say I have a negative view of them, but can see that you’re wrongly being bullied via the trust system.  This is a common problem many users face at Bitcointalk and I hope that you continue to participate here as your success in crypto makes you an excellent community resource. Thankfully, a few other members have joined me in trying to restore your trust rating and hopefully that is enough support for you to feel some love.
11968  Other / Meta / Re: Overmoderation of the Hardware forum on: August 29, 2018, 03:32:15 AM
The watercooled S9 threads were not repeat topics. A new one appeared only after the last one was deleted. The third thread even started with "I'm surprised this is the last place to have this info" because, while it had already been presented two or three days earlier, it kept getting removed.

I looked but could find no record of the thread having been moved to trashcan. I checked my recent posts and all from missing threads were removed from the list. The discussion simply vanished from history. This has been happening a lot, and the level of censorship is ruining the environment. Discussion on the Hardware board has dwindled to a fraction in recent months, likely in part because about every third post gets deleted.

I also noticed this and agree with you completely.

The neon effect is done in such a nice way that it actually looks lit.  weird, I know!  Smiley

It's hard to believe that isn't lit up neon.  Great job!  Any chance of seeing a video showing the piece?  I'd love another perspective.
11970  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New: Bitmains S9 Hydro 18TH ! on: August 28, 2018, 10:39:17 PM
Hopefully the S11 comes with liquid cooling from the get go.

No thank you. Liquid cooling might be fun for people jerking around at home but it would be a nightmare trying to run 10000+ liquid cooled units in my datacenter

Sweet. Another reason why they should do it.
11971  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: August 28, 2018, 10:06:16 PM
Why there are still monkeys around if they were part of our evolutionary beginnings ?

I've heard many scientists give plenty of supporting evidence for evolution, but I have yet to hear a good explanation of where the Rh- blood type came from.  I don't think that it is common knowledge that 15% of the human population has no blood tie to the Rhesus Monkey.

*For NMC, I use 60% of the average price on coinmarketcap as an estimate for the price at Poloniex.

That seems weird.  Why not just grab the actual price off Poloniex?

11974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Verifying the Existence of Digital Assets - Audit on: August 28, 2018, 03:41:23 PM
We are running into a problem where we are having difficulty proving ownership of the private keys for the addresses that hold the funds.

If someone is claiming to hold BTC and they refuse to sign a message, that is a huge red flag.  They are either lying, incompetent, or just plain not interested in doing legitimate business.  Regardless of the reason, be careful and don't trust, verify.
11975  Other / Meta / Re: "Trust" system is shit !!! "Trust me !!!" on: August 28, 2018, 03:13:48 PM
By the way, who scammed you?  I'd be interested in seeing his profile.  I also got scammed by a green-trusted member, but I was asking for it since it was a loan I didn't ask for collateral for, and I kind of blindly assumed his green trust had more weight than it did.  With all the account sales going on, you never know who you're really dealing with or if their trust page means anything.

I'd be interested in seeing the profile too.  Maybe it is a situation that can be addressed before another user is effected.
11976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Re] How to find out Scam Coins. on: August 27, 2018, 06:41:32 PM
I posted this list a bit ago that I feel is useful to determine if a coin is a "scam coin" or not.

Did it have an ICO?
Is there a founder’s reward?
Is there no hard cap on coin creation?
Was there a premine?
Did you learn about it through a paid advertisement?
Does it fail to create a new usage case for crypto?

If the answer to any of those questions is “yes” then you should probably choose a different coin.
11977  Other / Meta / Re: Cobras recent moves and possible effects on: August 26, 2018, 01:27:25 PM
Cobra’s view seemed quite typical of those who have experience working on open source projects and the whole argument against him seems to be based on fear.  Actions taken out of fear are rarely the correct ones.
