Finally !

DAMIJAN MERLAK 10.11.2014 15:53:03
Dear XXX,

I have added 0.821 BTC to your Bitstamp account.

Best regards,
Damijan Merlak

Maybe the previous guy was in holiday, fired, or whatever.
In the end:
3 weeks after the ticket creation,
few minutes after a bitcointalk thread creation,
the problem is solved !

They should have fixed this within a few working days, they didn't even bother to say 'we're sorry that it took so long'...

People should contact Bitstamp also via this forum as that might speed up the whole process.
11982  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buy music with Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2014, 08:33:09 PM
Is there a site that sells legit, high quality music for Bitcoin?

By 'high quality' I mean >=320kbps.

You will probably say use torrents and stuff.

But I would rather pay. It is just my mentality.

I don't think much of this is available at the moment.

And even if there is, how do you know that the music you buy is not downloaded from torrent sites, etc.

I also prefer to buy my music, but when I do I make sure I buy from legit sources such as iTunes.

Yeah that's also another query.

I used Beatport and directly from record labels.

I mainly used torrents though.

But three of my friends have been fined in terms of torrents.

So beware. But it does depend on where you live.

That sucks man, piracy laws are ridiculous. Glad we don't have that problem here.

You can use VPN or get yourself a cheap VPS to download stuff. Would cost you just a few bucks per month.
11983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I trust Bter? on: November 11, 2014, 04:52:24 PM
How safe do you guys feel keeping your coins on Bter? I like having control over the security of my coins and can't help but feel a little anxiety when trusting this site with any large amount of money. Can I trust this site to keep my coins secure over a long time period?

Better keep your coins in your offline wallet till you need them. It also depends on what kind of trader you are.

If you're a daytrader then I can understand that you keep your coins there for a longer time. If not, can you tell us why you would keep your coins there for a long period?

Yep, for trading. That's the only reason anyone would use them... I hope!  Grin

Nothing wrong with Bter as exchange, good luck with your trading.

Well, I hope people will use them also for buying goods. Would definitely help a lot Grin

If I got in it would be nice if you could lower the requirements for posting in the mining section, I can easily meet the post count but I don't post that often in the mining section and I'd rather avoid spamming a section just to get some coins if I could help it.

Ok, that's fine. I'll have you enrolled!

I also don't post in the mining section, but I do post quite a bit in the economy board, especially Marketplace.

If you're ok with that then please enroll me. If not, no problem.

it was not so long ago.
month or two ago you could choose between 10 different campaigns  Cheesy

Yeah, and people were quite picky as well as there was a lot to choose from.

Let's hope there will be a few more legit campaigns comming very soon.

Here is one more slot for Full Member: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=854072.0

Thanks, but I prefer to join campaigns that don't force you to post in certain forum sections.

Is your account potentially not verified (as in AML/KYC verified) as they are going to start to lock people out of their accounts in ~3 days if they are not AML/KYC verified and it would be possible that they jumped the gun a little bit

It has nothing to do with that, they have a few days left to verify their account, bitstamp is not locking accounts a few days before the deadline.

Best is to send them an email if you haven't done that already.

Must we post here or pm?

Don't waste your time, this dude will take the logo and run. He has nothing to lose since his account is filled with negative trust
11993  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 11, 2014, 01:32:18 PM

Really? Why? If they were playing against San Marino or Luxembourg I can understand they will play with reserves, but against Argentina as well?

Because 4 days later Croatia has important qualification game against Italy and can't risk any injury of actual first team member. This friendly is kind of Šuker's greed for money and it really was't necessary.

Yes, this was really stupid decision by our president Suker, to play with 2 so strong teams, Italy and Argentina, just in a few days.
If Croatia lose to Argentina by a bigger margin, which is not impossible, and even it is very likely, this will negatively affect the atmosphere in the team before a very important match with Italy.
Very stupid!

Completely agree with you!

Ok, now I can understand why. Football nowadays is filled with money whores  Undecided

You guys think Madrid will win the CL again this year?

Nice final would be Real Madrid - Bayern  Grin

But it's too early to say, there are more candidates to win the CL. Bayern, Chelsea, Dortmund, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid.

If you want to keep people on your site, then please do something about the person that is writing the articles.

Let some one else proofread everything before publishing, that would also help.

What do you think about International games this week?

The qualification games on thursday and friday are boring from what I see. Not worth watching.

The friendly games on wednesday are a bit more interesting with Turkey - Brazil, Netherlands - Mexico, Argentina - Croatia.

Just want to say that Croatia will play with reserve team against Argentina, while Argentina will play with their full squard. Just saying if anyone is going to bet on that game.

Really? Why? If they were playing against San Marino or Luxembourg I can understand they will play with reserves, but against Argentina as well?

I don't like football. I think that football is one of the most boring games, especially in comparison with hockey, basketball and Rugby.

There is no need to compare it with hockey, basketball, rugby. This thread has nothing to do with that.
11997  Economy / Services / Re: who would be interested in buying insurance on their Bitcoins, services? on: November 10, 2014, 05:50:47 PM
Im considering whether i should start up a Bitcoin insurance company which would essentially insure you for certain amounts of Bitcoins. There will be premiums, and plans which i hope to set up to cover you in case of a theft or hack. Full details of the service may come soon depending on interest and demand.

ps. If this goes ahead i will need investigators to check out claims of clients and investigators will receive payment depending on the cases they cover etc.

What do you think guys?

Most of the insurance companies, if not all, are reluctant when it comes to paying out. They will do anything to prove you are wrong, so they don't have to pay.

Not sure if I would use one, but I guess there is a certain demand for this service. Interesting project.

Most of my BTC is earned by trading. But just for fun I like to join a signature campaign.

Currently waiting for my account to get Sr. Member status so I can earn 0.1BTC per month. What's better than free BTC ??  Grin

12000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Penny stocks Investors on: November 10, 2014, 10:28:43 AM
Can't really suggest some one to buy pennystocks when they don't know how the market works. Investing in pennystocks is the same as gambling. High reward, high risk.

There are apps and sites that allow you to trade with "not real money" why don't you try that. While you do that, do some proper reasearch on each company you plan to invest in.
