121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💬 ADAMANT Messenger — ETH/BTC/etc. in-chat payments, open source and secure on: November 15, 2019, 08:03:34 PM
Is there a date when the ADAMANT is going to be listed at coindeal exchange?
We won the vote on 16th October and it's been a month since.
The other two exchanges have very low volume.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Virtual card payment method anonymously with cryptocurrency? on: November 15, 2019, 06:56:37 PM
Any payment method card, either debit or credit in physical or virtual form is powered by an electronic fund transfer company like VISA, Mastercard, etc.
These companies have to adhere to the financial laws and mandatory KYC to prevent use in illicit activities.
There is no way you can fund a virtual card with crypto anonymously.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Somewhat Clueless Old Fart With Some Equipment on: November 15, 2019, 06:43:26 PM
All help appreciated - thanks, I'm learning. And since you ask, I'm in England.

My actual spend was below £200 (roughly $235) but I got two L3+ and four D3 - apologies, I was not clear about that. Can they become viable if used together in some way?

I think these miners are new old stock - all boxed, look unused, one D3 not opened, one opened by me to check for paperwork (found a one sheet quick start guide) - and it did occur to me that using them as heaters might help, but I need better ideas than what I have come up with so far.

Here, you can input the model number of the ASIC and see the profitability for yourself.
https://www.asicminervalue.com/

As they are ASICs, there is nothing that can be done with them other than mining the specific algorithm they were designed to do.
Moreover, the current state of crypto has left mining to be unprofitable for a long time now.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 15, 2019, 04:56:15 AM
Im very confused how to win with high odds in soccer prediction. Because winning with low odds is very basic IMO , i mean it's not specific but mostly low odds always win , the potential is higher unlike with high odds as its 50/50 chance wherein very unpredictable.  Is there any strategy you know except viewing their past game or history?

Well, it's always going to be a probability and not a surety that you will win a high odds in soccer betting.
There is no amount of research or strategy that will make you fluent in winning each and every bet but you can surely come up with a game plan with making successive bets of smaller amounts and thus netting an overall profit which in turn is a possibility.
Just research about the performance of the team that is playing and make your bets strategically and you will do go.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GMiner v1.74 Equihash(BEAM, BTG, YCASH)/CuckooCycle(AE, GRIN)/Ethash/Eaglesong on: November 15, 2019, 04:31:16 AM
I have 1070 palit JS, the miner does not start on grin31,
writes "Failed to initialize miner on GPU0: Nvidia GeForce  1070 8GB: out of memory
 No devices for mining"
How to make her work at 31+ ?

Increase the virtual memory/ page file in Windows by 10GB and check again.
I hope it's not the VGA that is out of the memory which will mean you'll have to use any Linux distribution as Windows tends to reserve some space in VGA memory.
People mining ETH are also facing this issue with Nvidia cards.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MTP Mining Using Server RAM (2x250GB) on: November 14, 2019, 04:57:56 AM
No, you cannot.
RAM is not a component which can calculate hashes.
Even though it is a primary component of a computer system, the main purpose is to hold the data that is going to be executed by the CPU or the GPU  retrieved from the secondary device storage such as HDD.
You can use CPU, GPU, FPGA, ASIC to mine which has actual compute units.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.7c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 13, 2019, 05:36:31 PM
Do I need to flash bios them with 64 bios ?

Is there any good specific timing for ETH on Vega 64 and 56 ?
Thanks

Definitely. Flash your Vega 56 with 64 air bios.
It'll help as it will increase the memory frequency of the card.
In 56 bios, I was able to hit 935 MHz but with 64 air bios flashed the memory frequency was stable at 1100MHz.
Any further and it was unstable.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Bitcoin BTC & Bitcoin Cash at Home is NOT PROFITABLE | Network Difficulty on: November 13, 2019, 05:26:05 PM
This means that mining hardware companies have already manufactured much more efficient ASICs then what's available in the market.
Thus, more efficiency and ridiculously low electricity prices will improve the profitability for the group who are running such an operation which will lead to more centralization of the hash rate as the majority have already given up on home mining because of infeasibility.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC Community Release free-easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining on: November 13, 2019, 05:13:19 AM
Hello.

I can't run mining zcoin (xzc). Cryptodredge (0.18.0) and T-Rex (0.14.6) don't run. Can you help me?

Can you elaborate on the problem that you are facing with it?
Which GPUs are you using to mine XZC?
GPUs need at least 5GB VRAM to mine XZC with MTP algorithm.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RandomX Benchmarks! https://randomx.monerobenchmarks.info on: November 13, 2019, 04:44:07 AM
Right now my i7 3930k making 300h/s on cryptonightR and it values as 0.10$ for a day consuming 130w .
if im not wrong it will pay me about 0.25$ with randomx.im sure it will pay this for 2-3 days then after it will be again like 0.10$.All people waiting something huge but results becomes same at the end of the road.cryptonight always paid for cpu very little.so dont be sooo exited.

It's not that cryptonight paid so little for CPU.
It's a fact that there are many more CPUs active at the moment rather than GPUs.
So, there will be a lot more CPUs mining RandomX algorithm for Monero thus reducing profits drastically.
If it's profitable for people, they are going to mine and they will activate each and every bit of CPU power they have which is really good for decentralization but not for incentives.

I am currently cold staking 308 XLR with trustaking.
It's been four days and I haven't received any POS BR for the same.
Can anyone provide the frequency of the POS BR they are receiving with the amount staked?

i have my coins on zero protocol

i gone lose the coins ?>?

Download the latest available wallet and see if you can retrieve the coins.
When the new wallet will be released with updated UI, it'll support swap so then you can swap your old coins for the new one.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Miner with 12 GPU rx580 / gtx 1060 confused with power & hashrates. on: November 12, 2019, 11:34:07 AM
So the cost comes around 220$ per month for the 12gpu rig.
If i choose to run rx580 with bios modded in Hive or Simplemining OS, can i reduce the power cost.
The hashrate for rx580 for Ethereum comes around 27.5 MHash/s. with 330 MH/s will there be any profit per month on mining altcoins?
@PassThePopcorn - you said about linux distro, is it for cypto mining?
The Hive or Simple mining OS are also based on Linux right?
can you also suggest good miners either gpu or asci miners..
Thanks!

Mining has not been as profitable as before for a long time now.
If you're going to invest in mining, remember this that the good old profitability is near to zero nowadays.
As others have already suggested, it's better to invest the time, money and resources to purchase the coins directly and wait for it appreciate in value.

Mining is not "plug and play". You'll have to find time to learn things, experiment with the cards and settings, monitor and maintain it. It's kind of a full-time job and if the incentives are not favourable, you'll regret going in this direction.

Even then you want to try, go for 1-2 GPUs or a 6 GPU rig, learn the basics, experiment and see how feasible it is for you, then continue this journey forward.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: November 11, 2019, 05:01:49 PM
Will this work? Ubunto i mean? i have to travel to other country to make it happen that why im asking...

Yes, it will definitely work. Windows OS tends to reserve some memory in VGA which limits the total memory usage but it's not the case with Linux.
You can give Ubuntu a try or if it's going to be a hassle for you.
I'll suggest buying a pen drive package with simpleminingOS, set the delivery address for another country, tell the person who maintains the rig to plug it in the system and you'll be able to control it from anywhere in the world.

~snip~

Use Nvidia inspector instead.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 11, 2019, 07:07:43 AM
"Addiction has many forms".
Any kind of prolong involvement for anything is injurious to health.

I do not have a gambling addiction but one of my friends is a regular to this.
We usually play with low stakes in a group just to have fun but this guy takes it a bit far.
I've heard he lost his expensive smartphone in one of his bets in poker which won't seem much at the time but it's not a huge leap from betting his smartphone to betting other valuables.
It's not worth it to bet on things that you can't afford to lose because it's going to affect one's life drastically.
We made him understand the cons if he continued doing this as there is no light in this path.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: November 11, 2019, 04:05:40 AM
Well the problem with the 1050ti 4gb continues. Solutions? what else to mine with them?

any solutions for GTX1050ti Huh? 4GB all cant mine

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

There won't be a perfect solution for it in Windows but you can always try Ubuntu.
You can use a 16GB Pendrive, install Ubuntu distribution, install Nvidia drivers, download Claymore and run it.
You won't face DAG size issue until it hits 4GB for good this time.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.7c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: November 11, 2019, 03:36:47 AM
Thank you for the suggestion, I tried it, disabled defender, ran program, no restart, same issue no change. I also went through disabled all other types of software and network related policies, tried again, no change. I guess ill bite the bullet and do a full wipe and reinstall of windows.

It's a good choice that you have decided to fresh install Windows.
Anyway, I'll recommend installing Windows 10 LTSC version as it is very stable, no feature updates so it won't go updating itself middle of the night and break something.
After installing, perform all the security updates, then disable automatic updates through group policy and start mining.
It'll run as stable as a Linux system.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New rig RX 5700 or 1660 super, or wait? on: November 11, 2019, 03:28:22 AM
If you are assembling a new mining rig, then I'll suggest going for second-hand RX580s and similar series GPUs.
You'll be able to get them for very cheap. I've seen ~$75 - $100 for the price of one.
Optimize them and you can easily get around 30 MH/s per card.
At the moment, it's not worth to spend much on new GPUs just to mine.

If you are purchasing it for yourself and going to do different tasks with the GPU other then mining.
Then go with 1660ti SUPER as it will be much better overall.
1660ti will support tons of different algorithms to mine.
Moreover, miners for RX5700 is not even optimized.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1050 TI 4GB Claymore 15 cannot allocate big buffer for DAG on: November 10, 2019, 06:11:55 AM
Win 10 GTX1050 are finished....I've tried everything except downgrading my OS...thanks for the insight though.

Well, 4GB cards are not finished though, only on Windows.
You can just use a 16GB Pendrive, install ubuntu and Nvidia drivers, use it to boot into ubuntu whenever you want to mine and run the miner in it. You will be able to mine until the DAG hits 4GB for proper this time.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need help setting up multi CPU random X rig on: November 10, 2019, 05:50:02 AM
Ok I bought a DL580 Which is a 4 cpu server, which has 80 threads. But I have never set a multi cpu rig to mine. Can I use windows with 4 CPU's? And what is the most profitable program to use? I was looking at using Nicehash's os. Again I have no idea on which way to go with this. So any help would be great. Thanks everyone!!!

I have seen people use Windows with a multi-CPU system to mine XMR. Check this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHuqoXwdej4
Give it a try for a four CPU server system.
I'll recommend using Windows 10 LTSC variant as it will be much more stable and fewer feature updates which are not useful for mining anyway.
Also, after the OS is installed and all four CPUs are working fine, try mining Loki.
It'll provide you with the baseline on what to expect for hashrate and power consumption.
