121  Other / Archival / Re: ✅[ANN] zBucks [ZBK] No ICO | CryptoNight | Gaming zNodes ✅ on: July 21, 2018, 09:15:40 AM
To be honest zBucks does not seem to have much edge over any other CN coin currently available but it does have a good looking website and at least have a whitepaper with some kind of real world usable idea.

Two things I would say you need to do:
1) Add your Linkedin profiles to your site. People want to see if the team has any real world crypto knowledge or just a bunch of teenagers starting a copy and paste CN coin.
2) Provide a offline paper wallet. Most people do not trust a Windows GUI wallet from a unknown team.

Strange. Without me doing anything it started working again.

Anyone else having issues?
On SupportXMR my hashrate is 0 and no workers are active for the last 24 hours or so.

I checked on my Azure portal and I have not run out of credits.

Under pools:

Pool usage
1/20 (5%)

Job and job schedule usage
0/100 (0%)

Dedicated cores usage
0/20 (0%)

Low priority cores usage
16/20 (80%)

Any ideas?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.3 on: July 09, 2018, 10:58:31 AM
V1.6.3
- More speed on Vega56 cards on every algo (probably on Vega64 and VegaFE too, i don't have them to test)
- Added parameter --enableduplicategpuid (used in start.bat), that enables to use the same gpu id in gpu_conf multiple times
- Removed useless kernels 3 and 4
- Removed useless CPU opencl support

+ Vega cards should get even more speed than in previous version (try with adrenaline 18.3.4 or adrenaline 18.6.1)

+ Added parameter --enableduplicategpuid (in .bat) which basically allows you to do something like this :

"gpu_conf" :
[
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 120, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 1},
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 120.5, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 1},
]

So instead of using the same settings for every thread on same GPU, you can define different intensity for example for one thread.
This way maybe you can squeeze out a little more hash from your GPU.

On initialisation this is displayed as DIFFERENT GPU'S, but on hashrate display threads of same gpu are merged, so a per gpu hashrate is still displayed, not a per thread speed.

+ Removed a few useless things like kernels 3&4, and CPU OpenCL support, nobody used these but they just took me more time when implementing something new

Great stuff!
On heavy algo I am getting 40H/s extra per Vega 56 with V1.6.3 Smiley

768 Immature VRSC for sale @2USD per 1VRSC.
DM me.

This is not against mk111. I don't know who he/she is or anything negative or positive about them. I would like us to have a safe community, and we don't recommend buying or accepting immature coins unless you REALLY know and trust the seller.

I would want anyone who would buy immature coins to realize that in doing so, the only current way to "transfer" ownership is not through a block chain transaction, but an off-chain agreement with the risk that the seller keeps a copy of the private key for later use. When the coins become mature, which may be months or over a year in the future, is when a buyer may discover that they did not have the only copy of the key, because that is when the coins can be spent or transferred by the first person with that key who does so.

I agree with you to always be careful and only to do this kind of sale when you trust the other person.
My VRSC is still up for sale if someone is interested.

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.2 on: July 06, 2018, 06:09:44 AM
Dok - you need to set your Vega 56 fans to minumum 3000RPM because the card will throttle itself if the HBM2 memory gets too hot.

i know, but this was just a quick test to show off  Grin
kid was sleeping didnt want to turn on the turbine

LOL true the vega's are loud

LOL 5$ !!!
I am so glad I cashed out a while back as MNX is going down the drain.
So much for a algo which keep the price stable.

The MNX bot which used to advertise the price is not even making posts anymore as it is too embarrassing to post the price.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: June 09, 2018, 08:50:24 AM
Here are a few points that I don't believe have been brought up yet, but make this kind of suspect:

Reference the video here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MLnaZqkoQw

1.  There appears to be 2 cables coming out of the right side of the monitor.  Leads me to believe that the video source isn't really that board.

2.  Why the hell does that board have a vga port to begin with?  Seems rather odd considering the video displayed looks like an 8-bit nintendo and provides little information.

3.  The IE window conveniently has the address bar cut off in the video, so you can't tell if this is just some html file on his C drive.

4.  In the other video he used an ipad that we couldn't see very well as "proof"  Why couldn't he have just mirrored the display like he did in this video where he was showing the config?

Edit:

5.  The LED lights on the network port aren't even lit up or blinking!  That network cable isn't even plugged into anything.

LOL indeed the LAN port lights is not even working.
Wake up people! This is a scam people, you are going to loose your money!!
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: June 06, 2018, 10:16:56 AM
I would not touch this project with a 10meter pole... Whoever is stupid enough to send money to these scammers deserve to loose their money.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.8 on: June 05, 2018, 03:40:14 AM
Hi Dok,

I moved to 1.5.8 for the last 2 days, but I got problem. Please see screen shot below.
It happened to all my 8 rigs randomly.
So sorry that I moved back to 1.5.6. And so far, my rigs are stable.

Not sure with other users, but may be you can take a look it, hopefully solve the issue as well.

I have the same issue and also had to move back to 1.5.6.

My Azure credits has run out last month and I now need to start the script again.
How and where do I start it manually?

- Fixed kernels 3 & 4 for heavy algo
- Fixed OCL binary caching for Vega cards

Thanks a lot! It really improved hashrate. My single Vega64 performs now 1670 H/s on Heavy Cryptonight.

Hope Nicehash will add support for Heavy.

My Vega 56's hashrate did not increase with the latest version.
I still get 1530H/s per card with intensity set at 56.
Anyone else with Vega 56's got any increase?

Thanks
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Use Azure Free Credits for Mining Monero (XMR) - Super Easy and Super Profitable on: May 09, 2018, 02:46:02 PM
Update: I have updated the script and the script-generator to support Sumokoin (SUMO) as well. The additional option is available on the website intended for advanced users:
https://azurecloudminingscript.github.io/Turn_your_Azure_Free_Credits_into_Cryptocurrency_detailed.html

(My other site https://azurecloudminingscript.github.io/Turn_your_Azure_Free_Credits_into_Cryptocurrency.html has the quickstart-instructions, but has set Monero as default-currency.)

Other currencies based on Cryptonight-V7 or Cryptonight-Heavy should also work.  jdoi made a nice overview:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3129218.0. I have personally only tested Sumokoin, though. I'm getting around 55H/s per Core for Cryptonight-Heavy. This would result in 1100 H/s if one would use the free credits from an MSDN-Enterprise-subscription to mine Sumokoin.

I did not bother making an option for the original cryptonight-algo because the profitability is a joke since the asics are available.

If you have any problems getting it to work feel free to PM me or write a reply in this thread.

Great update thanks!

I don't know how you guys do it.
My Vega 56's (Reference models) with Vega 56 BIOS runs 2010H/s on Normal V7 but on Heavy I am not able to get more than 1350H/s.

I have even now tried Vega 56 @ 1437/1100 907mV -30 power target on 56 intensity but no luck still only get 1350H/s per card.

My normal clocks on NormalV7 are: 1475/1100 @ 915 and 900

set intensity 60 worksize 8 run miner, then close miner set intensity 56 worksize 8 and run miner again, you should able to get more than 1500 h/s.

Thanks I am using intensity 62 now and getting 1480H/s which is much better Smiley
