121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need to Trade My Coin on: October 04, 2023, 08:36:08 AM
While it's true that trading bots can encounter technical issues and struggle to adapt to market changes, additionally, subscribing to one could expose you to the risk of fraud. Many scammers exploit these tools to deceive traders, particularly those who are new and inexperienced. Despite the potential utility of these tools, it's essential not to place complete reliance on them; instead, consider them merely as tools in your trading toolkit.

I decided to drop this image from one of 1miau thread Trade vs. HODL - avoid traps it explains fully why you should avoide trading and consider HODLING you're Bitcoins

It's kind of funny, but it definitely matches my personal experience.
122  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kailan Kaya Tayo Magkakaroon Ng Cryptocurrenct Summit Na Involve Lahat on: October 03, 2023, 09:33:44 PM
<snip>
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: October 03, 2023, 09:10:14 PM

This one is loaded and wants to double the money quickly.
$45M seems to be too much for a sportsbook to handle but they may have some doubts about actually processing such an amount, certainly, they'd want to know where the money comes from. And they will suspect whether you have some guys fixing fights.

If a casino wouldn't mind you sending and allowing you to play such 45M in a few matches, you better watch out for they could just shut down. It's you who gets scammed and not you profiting.
He didn't say that he will bet $45 million on a few bets. That amount was the accumulation of all his account's bets on Stake; the other $20 million is on BC. It seems there was a misunderstanding, please try rereading the original post.

Oh, and you're not the only one who misunderstood it. Also, just a quick note, he didn't mention doubling his money quickly!
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 03, 2023, 02:07:32 PM
<snip>
This now made me to come here to asked how do you control your greed with your bet amount, do you go ahead placing the bet as your minds speaks or do only maintain to your limits whether it plays or not doesn't matter.
-
I'm not very disciplined in these kinds of scenarios. Sometimes, I can hold myself back from placing higher stakes due to greed, but other times, I just can't resist. However, one thing I can say is that you should always weigh the possible outcomes first. Taking a few moments to think about it will also help cool you down from the greed you're feeling.
125  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 02, 2023, 11:54:36 PM
<snip>
Playing without any VIP and bonus benefits on a casino is pretty dull because this feature gives player extra boost to our profitability. I decided to leave the casino and register to new one that gives me bonus. I'm just curious on why casino offer a bonus that they can't handle once user keeps winning using this. They can adjust the requirements to make it more competitive instead of removing all the benefits to user just because he keeps winning. It's not player problem if he is very lucky.
-
That's fantastic luck! What were the conditions for you to withdraw those winnings?

Have you considered negotiating or perhaps accepting a few "competitive challenges" in exchange for lifting the bonus restrictions on your account? Maybe a larger wagering requirements on your bonus winnings... but as we know, that comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. Alternatively, you could explore the option of switching to another reputable casino if you're keen on playing with a bonus. Congratulations on your winnings, and I'd love to hear what decision you've made between these two if you happen to choose between them. Good luck!

131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 24, 2023, 05:51:38 PM
<snip>
Some gamblers, you know, they start pointing fingers and making accusations because they're just plain frustrated with their losses. It's like they want to put all the blame on the casino, even though, when you really look at it, it's not really the casino's fault.

Now, there are others who make accusations, but they've got some pretty solid facts to back them up, and they can actually prove what they're saying. Because let's be real here, not every casino out there is playing by the rules. In fact, I'd say most of them are out to take advantage of their position as the house.

So, IMO, it's just smart to do a little background check on the casino before you drop any cash there. That way, you're less likely to run into these kinds of problems.
132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰⚽️ Cryptoplay.io - Casino and Sportsbook | Race and Rise to Riches - $2M | VIP on: September 24, 2023, 04:57:59 PM
<snip>
It is safe to say that most gamblers prefer not being asked for KYC verification. On contrary, they tend to go more on casinos that are licensed. How would you deal with that? I read at one of your posts that you may have to consider it if it is a "must", but I don't think that it is really needed. Follow up question is... how would you able to get the trust of the community if they do not know your identity? I am asking because some players feels more secured if they know who the operator is.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Talking about big wins on Dice on: September 23, 2023, 06:26:45 PM
<snip>
Does this setup come with the same settings that you mentioned in your previous thread? That was very lucky for you. How did it go after the last big win? Did you continue playing, and what was the result?

Dice is one of the first games I played when I started gambling, but I never had any big wins from it. I've also never used a bot for it. Maybe that could help me achieve a big win if I did.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: September 23, 2023, 06:02:01 PM
<snip>
This might not be happening to "everyone"; fortunately, a few individuals are probably fortunate enough to achieve a more positive outcome by extending their gambling budget beyond what they initially set. However, for the majority, I assume luck isn't on their side. There are winners, there are losers, and some break even. Moreover, having less control can negatively impact your relationships, including those with your family.

I've never heard of gambling addiction helping to improve mental health, and it certainly never helps meet an "urgent need."
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: September 23, 2023, 03:25:24 PM

I would agree with everything on the list you provided, especially enabling 2FA verification. This is important in case your account is compromised and accessed by unauthorized individuals. With 2FA, they won't be able to withdraw money and steal it from you. However, there is still a risk of using the funds to play on the site, so be aware of the security features available to you. Use them and create strong passwords.

It seems to be something that used to happen in the early years of the forum and hasn't happened for years.

But on the other hand, am I the only one who sees a confession of ban evading in this thread?
<snip>

The OP mentioned that his donator account was banned around 2013 and 2014. Upon reviewing the OP's profile, I observed that it was created on January 2, 2014. If his donator account was banned after this date (January 2), we can dispel the suspicion that this case involves ban evasion.

Fortunately, hilariousandco confirmed that it can be unlocked, which is good news for him.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 22, 2023, 09:53:53 AM
<snip>
Generally, both men and women have similar motivations for gambling, which can vary from person to person. These motivations may include seeking entertainment, leisure, or using gambling as a form of escapism, among others. I find it puzzling why there is often an attempt to distinguish between the motivations of males and females, unless these reasons are genuinely gender-specific, which I believe is quite rare.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of scammers. on: September 22, 2023, 08:55:31 AM
Few months back a guy called me, he even mentioned my name saying my sister is sick and has been rushed to the hospital (he was also faking a cry)
When I asked him my sister's name then he changed to abusing me.
-
How do you think they (scammers) were able to know your name?

The name and contact number are two of the most crucial pieces of information that scammers can have. I was looking for a job before, and, unfortunately, I made a mistake by sending my CV to some people who did not use company email addresses.
After a few days or a week, I started receiving phishing and promotional text messages from unknown numbers, and they included my full name. Fortunately, these messages are automatically marked as spam, so I avoid clicking on any links sent through those messages. I am still receiving some of them even now. The unfortunate thing is that scammers can easily pass or sell this information to other scammers, making it difficult, and maybe even impossible, to get rid of. Unless changing of mobile number is considered.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoplay.io - Casino and Sportsbook | Race and Rise to Riches - $2M | VIP ⚽️🎰 on: September 22, 2023, 06:16:54 AM

Welcome to the forum! It seems that we have another operator entering the crypto gambling space to compete. So far, I am impressed with everything that I have read. The OP seems very professional and knowledgeable about what he or she is doing. The playmoney feature that "generates" CPC is also a good idea. But... how much do these BM tokens cost when bought? That should be less than $1, isn't it? Or am I missing something?

There's a typo in the OP's post, specifically in the part about the 3rd deposit bonus. Best of luck!.

<snip>
