Not a good sign for ETH. They depend on their main competitor website to explain what is Casper... It would be better if it was on the Ethereum website. Ethereum foundation website did look better in 2017. The website is faster to load now, but not very good looking.

They are already controlling Bitcoin mining and exchanges (Binance, etc...). They don't really need a Libra. WeChat already has his own payment system.

At his start, BTCP was near $200 because of some promoters of this scam on Kucoin, but then fell to near $30 and then succeed to be pumped to $80 and after that it just continue his fall because of the exit scam from the dev of ZClassic which did pump ZClassic to $200 before the fork and then dumped it to near $10 at this time before he left the bitcointalk forum. His other project Whalecoin is dead now. It was maintained to life by some of his team members for a few months before dying after the crash of Bitcoin in 2018.
Can BTCP still survive? I don't really know. It will depend on the current team and investors.

Most ICO about crypto mining were exit scams. Look at Envion or Swiss Alps mining. This one for me looks dubious too. They all promise big profits, but in reality there is 0 profit and near 100% loss.

I have invest on some real working products ICO. But they are near dead. Like Bowhead Health who is making a special device for vitamin dispenser.
But now, its coin is only traded on a decentralized exchange and the volume of exchange is 0. But the team is still working on its product and is going to sell it. Are they going to succeed?
I don't know. But they surely don't depend on the coin. But they are maybe going to fail if they don't succeed to sell their products.
Speculators don't care about real products and if they really work, they only look at quick profits. So its better to just buy at the start of an IEO or when it reach its lowest value and then sell at the highest price.
Or buy a coin which is very hyped.
I don't really know if there is real investors for a real product and for the long term now, as all coins for teams creating real products are falling to 0.

I am still for long term as i am losing too. I am still learning everyday about trading and about new coins. It is a forced long term strategy. But i have doubts about the current cryptocurrencies being used in real life. They are more going to stay for speculators or for fun. Banks have their own technology for replacing credit cards. Maybe they are already using some kind of blockchain which is pegged to fiat currencies. And they don't accept current cryptocurrencies. Governements and banks want the total control of the economical system.

If people continue to support bnb, it can overtake ETH because of its IEO against ICO. As people now only want to make fast gain at the start of a coin before it gets dumped. And IEO gives the opportunity to trade a coin faster. The final product is not important as only money count. All depends on the cost to create an IEO or ICO. ETH is not bad, but it has lost some of its hype. And there were too many exit scam with ETH ICO. But IEO doesn't mean that thoses teams are not scammers.

The "best" exchange is maybe not the best in term of security... It can have big holes. This is the risk of sending something on the internet. Nothing is safe. Only people who recognize themselves into thoses leaked pictures can really say if it was for their KYC at Binance or not.

The halving of mining rewards for a coin doesn't mean that the coin price is going to increase. If the price decrease, the mining difficulty is going to decrease after a certain time. Some coins have surely tried to make their coins more expensive by doing this kind of trick. But that doesn't work so easily.

I don't really think that Bitcoin can reach $20000 on this year. Its highest price was $14000. Current dominance is 70% and a lot more than in 2017 when it succeed to reach $20000. But that's my opinion.

Maybe near the end of this year i think. Bitcoin dominance is at his highest, and a lot higher than at its peak price in 2017. But its price didn't succeed to increase. When people are going to realize that the price they are dreaming is not going to be reach, they are going to switch to stable coins or altcoins.

I have not used Binance DEX. But the possibility of trading coins is too limited as it is limited to BNB tokens. I have tried Stellarport for XLM or xbts.io for BitShares. They are well made DEX exchanges.
BitShares permits the trading of coins not native to BitShares with Gateways proposing thoses assets. The volume of trading is not the best, but it is not too bad.
TRXMarket is not bad too for trading with TRON. It is integrate into the TronLink wallet, but it accepts only TRON tokens and there is USDT token for TRON.

Maybe the pump is already finished. I see that Bitcoin price is falling. Maybe thoses speculators bought Bitcoin just to make a pump and dump scheme. We will see if the price can resist the sell pressure or not after this pump.

It only means that cryptocurrencies is only used for speculation. And the best crypto is Bitcoin for speculators. Technology/transaction speed/transaction cost and the use of an altcoin doesn't matter for speculators. What is important is to get more fiat currency or more bitcoin when bitcoin is at a low price. It is sad for innovative tech companies in crypto. If they don't depend on their coin/token, they can still survive.

I have mine some altcoins. Mining is not profitable, except sometime if you succeed to mine at the very start of a coin. But price tends to fall after a certain time. So it is better to immediately sell your coin. Except if you really believe in the very long term of the coin. The cost of mining a coin is like paying the double price of a coin at the current market price. I don't think it is worth to mine any coin. I don't have any ASIC miner, maybe it is more profitable with a specialized hardware. But with a computer and GPU cards, it is not worth the investment as you have to pay your electricity bill and your hardware becomes old faster and can get burned.

Wtih the current market, it is really difficult to tell which altcoin is a good investment for 2019. For the moment, it is for short term investment. Some IEO did perform well and some not. But for a quick profit, they can be a good bet.

You can't know which altcoin is going to be useful or not. Currently all cryptocurrencies are used only for speculations. That's why there is pump and dump scheme. You can't do anything against that. Bitcoin is also used as a pump and dump coin. If not, it would have been more stable.

No one care about privacies. Traders pass KYC and are no more anonymous when on exchanges. Yes, you can trade on small exchanges, but most of them are asking for KYC now. They are only used for speculation.

Right, but i don't see any improvements. Only money from altcoins going to Bitcoin. It only helps altcoins to lose value. It is a proof that cryptocurrencies are only for speculators. Good projects or not, they are only use to try to gain more fiat currencies.
