Would be interesting to try that BS logic in US courts....I guess you don't know about a little crime called "fraud" that covers a lot of crap that hasn't even been invented yet...

Your US courts did absolutely nothing in bigger cases where real money was involved (Mt. Gox, Wex, Cryptsy). As they will do absolutely nothing with Bitconnect scam. I know what a fraud is, and I am telling you that it would be hard to prove harm or even deception in this case as no money or actual valuables were involved and noone really knows what actually has happened. The facts are that at least majority of coins are still in the CM wallets and the website is not functioning correctly. The rest are pure speculations.
Mt. Gox - thieves were caught and jailed. 200k bitcoins were restored
Cryptsy CEO hiding scared somewhere in china from 8.2mln in lawsuits.
dont know much about wex
You re so desperatly trying to defend CM that im starting to think that you re someone from their team.
If thats the case, just letting you know that you should be scared and go fly to the other side of the globe and hide like that cryptsy ceo.

mtgox founder went on to found ripple

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FMA] Momentum Coin | Masternode | GPU mining | Low premine | Neoscrypt on: February 11, 2018, 03:19:10 PM
ticker should be MOM not FMA
Our coin is called momentum. Momentum in economics means the rate of acceleration of a security's price or volume. On the other hand, it is an impulse, which formula in Newtonian mechanics is derived from well-known F=ma. We've put this funny reference in the coin's ticker. Anyway if our community will doubt this, we still can change it (by voting) until our coin will be listed on an exchange.

I'm voting for MOM

I don't have the time or patience to watch videos.  Is there any proof this product is not vapor, besides videos of men speaking words?

As naive as it sounds, maybe give them one last week?

surely we will be hearing people say this forever.

coinsmarket looks like a phishing site and people act surprised it hasn't come back online?

lots of first time crypto users refuse to accept this as a lesson

XYLO start on GRAVIEX Exchange https://graviex.net/markets/xylobtc
wow new exchange.....  sorry but gonna pas this exchange for now ......

almost there are no transactions there. we need exchange with a lot of buyers/sellers

There are small trades, there is a plus on trades for a few days.

it's difficult to find someone who both wants to buy this coin and wants to put btc on that exchange
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: February 10, 2018, 02:43:41 PM
Shit like this witch hunt is the reason why coinsmarkets is taking such a long ass time to come back online.

1) People fudding coinsmarkets leads to

2) Gandi repossessing coinsmarkets.com which leads to

3) The Coinsmarkets team fighting several days to take back possession of coinsmarkets.com which leads to

4) The Coinsmarkets team spending several more days trying to find a more reasonable and secure web host that respects privacy (anonymousspeech - https://www.anonymousspeech.com/) which leads up to

5) The Coinsmarkets team having to reconfigure everything all fucking over again which will take several more days.

6) Also, guess what? You guys are bitching about how before the database was fixed and now it's corrupted again? Well, guess what, when switching web hosts, your database is at risk for corruption during the switch -

6a) "Key #4. Database: There’s risk where your database could be corrupted during the switch. For the ease of discussion we will focus on just WordPress in this point."

6b) Source: https://www.webhostingsecretrevealed.net/blog/web-hosting-guides/switching-web-host/

7) So what's the result? It'll take even more days for the database to be functional again.

Now let's do the math, I'll LOWBALL it all and say it should take no more than 2-3 BUSINESS days to fix the problems aforementioned.

i) coinsmarkets team fighting gandi for possession of the coinsmarkets.com domain (3 days)
ii) coinsmarkets team spends time researching for a webhost and finds one (2 days)
iii) coinsmarkets team now has to reconfigure their servers (2-3 days)
iv) coinsmarkets team now has to fix the database corruption that occurred DUE to the webhost switching (3-4 days)

Adding all of that up together, it appears to be anywhere from 10-12 BUSINESS days, so when you include waiting for Saturday & Sunday to pass, it's more like 14-16 days of wasted time.

I'm also sure I missed a few spots, but in any case, let that sink in for you guys. If it weren't for us fucking with Gandi:

a) coinsmarkets.com wouldn't have been repossessed
b) coinsmarkets team wouldn't have had to find another, more reliable webhost
c) coinsmarkets team wouldn't have had to reconfigure their servers FOR the new webhost
d) coinsmarkets team wouldn't have had to fix database corruption (which they fixed for Gandi) FOR the new webhost (anonymousspeech)

That's the summary of all of this. You are your own worst enemy. I completely agree that coinsmarkets sucked ass at fucking communicating, but now you have to realize that we shot ourselves in the foot by playing with fire. We could've just waited patiently and everything would've been done by late/end of January. Instead, we're now approaching mid-February and it might take a little while longer.

At the very minimum we've cost the team 2 whole weeks' worth of time...But considering how inefficient and small the coinsmarkets team is, a more realistic expectation is to take the amount of time wasted and add another week to it, so 3 weeks give or take a few days.

you just put their narrative into a list.  there will be more of their narrative to come, it's already written just not posted on their website yet.

coinsmarkets devs/thieves want all the altcoins to be added to new exchanges before they can dump them.  there wont be any real progress ever
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: February 10, 2018, 12:09:38 PM
Hi All,

CryptoCoinsCity has prepared a migration-sheet to help all users of CoinsMarkets to migrate their
coins from there. Set up your wallets and register other Exchange accounts to be able to quickly
withdraw the coins when CoinsMarkets comes online or offers a withdraw possibility.

good luck,
cryptocoinscity.

All the Signature Campaign bounties have been paid. Also, ronnylov has received the bonus of 500 CRDS for the quality of his posts on Bitcointalk. The two submissions to the Article Campaign have also been judged and paid for as of today.

We still accept submissions to the Article Campaign, this one will continue until further notice.
